Detailed Description
To further explain the technical means and effects of the present invention adopted to achieve the predetermined objects, the following detailed description of the embodiments, structures, features and effects according to the present invention will be given with reference to the accompanying drawings and preferred embodiments.
The invention provides a chart display method, which is convenient for a user to compare by adding a reference line when table data is graphically displayed.
FIG. 1 is a flow chart illustrating a method 100 of the present invention in one embodiment. As shown in fig. 1, the method 100 includes the following steps.
At step 110, a data table is provided.
In one embodiment, the data table may include a plurality of items and data corresponding to each item. Specifically, the data table is calculated from the source data. The items are divided into row-class items and column-class items, and each data corresponds to one row-class item and one column-class item.
FIG. 2 is an example of a data source. FIG. 3 is an example of a data table formed based on the data sources shown in FIG. 2. As shown in fig. 3, the data includes a plurality of items, such as office items, furniture items, science and technology items, east, south, west, and middle, wherein the office items, furniture items, science and technology items are row items, and east, south, west, and middle are column items. Of course, in other embodiments, there may be only one type of item. The data table in fig. 3 may be automatically calculated from the data source or manually counted based on the data items.
In one embodiment, the method 100 is implemented based on a table handler, and the source data and the table data are both recorded in a table handler file.
And 120, generating a data graph based on the data table.
In one embodiment, the data graph is one of a bar graph, a line graph, an area graph, and a scatter plot. Fig. 4 is an example of a data graph generated based on the data table shown in fig. 3, in which the data graph is a histogram. The data table can be displayed graphically more intuitively through the book data graph.
And step 130, calling a reference line establishing tool after the data graph is selected so as to add a reference line in the data graph.
In one embodiment, the line type and/or color of the reference line may be selected in the reference line creation tool; the label of the reference line can be filled in the reference line establishing tool, or the label of the reference line is empty; the reference line establishing tool may be filled with a reference line value, or a function formula of the reference line value. The function formula may take partial data of the source data as variables.
Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram of a line type for selecting a reference line by using a reference line creation tool, as shown in fig. 9, the line type has a plurality of types, and a user can select one of the types according to his or her needs. Fig. 10 is a schematic diagram of selecting colors of reference lines by using a reference line creation tool, as shown in fig. 10, the colors are various, and a user can select one of the colors according to his or her needs. As shown in fig. 9, the reference line value may be written directly in the column of the value by using the reference line creation tool, or the fx button next to the reference line value may be clicked to bring up the editing interface of the value. Fig. 11 is an example of setting a value of a reference line using a reference line creation tool, and in this example, "═ 650" is written directly in an editing interface of the value. Fig. 12 is another example of setting a value of a reference line, where "═ avg (profit)" is directly written in an editing interface of the value, which is equal to an average value of profits, using a reference line creation tool. Of course, the values may also be obtained from other functional formulas.
FIG. 5 is an exemplary diagram of the addition of a reference line using the reference line creation tool, in this example, the reference line color has been selected to be red, the reference line type is a short dashed line, the reference line value is 65000, and the reference line label is 65000. Fig. 6 is an example of adding the reference line shown in fig. 5 to the data graph shown in fig. 4, and it can be seen that one more reference line is added to the histogram, the ordinate of the reference line is the value 65000 of the reference line, and the upper right side of the reference line has its label "65000".
Fig. 7 is an exemplary diagram of the addition of another reference line using the reference line creation tool, in this example, the reference line color has been selected to be green, the line type of the reference line is a long and short dashed line, the value of the reference line is 747936, and the label of the reference line is the reference line. Fig. 8 is an example of adding the reference line shown in fig. 7 to the data graph shown in fig. 4, and it can be seen that one more reference line is added to the histogram, the ordinate of the reference line is the value 747936 of the reference line, and the upper right side of the reference line has the label "reference line".
Through the newly added reference line, the user can compare the bar-shaped bars of the bar-shaped graph based on the reference line so as to more quickly know much information, such as which are higher than the reference line, how much each bar-shaped bar is higher, which are lower than the reference line, how much each bar-shaped bar is lower, and the like. In the prior art, when the chart is displayed, all graphs are derived from original data, and a mark which is not the original data cannot be added, but a reference line can be added, so that the reference comparison of a user is facilitated.
The number of the reference lines may be 1 or more. When a new reference line is needed, after clicking the new reference line, filling or selecting labels, values, line types and colors. If the user does not make a selection, one line type and one color will be defaulted.
According to another aspect of the present invention, a computer readable medium is provided, in which program instructions are stored, the program instructions being executed by a processor to implement the graph display method 100 described above.
According to another aspect of the present invention, a computing device is provided that includes a processor and a memory having stored therein program instructions that are executed by the processor to implement the graphical display method 100 described above.
As used herein, the terms "comprises," "comprising," or any other variation thereof, are intended to cover a non-exclusive inclusion, including not only those elements listed, but also other elements not expressly listed.
