Description

Cat litter bowl capable of automatically screening out wastes and method for automatically screening out wastes
Technical Field
The application belongs to the technical field of intelligent home, and particularly relates to a cat litter box capable of automatically screening wastes and a method for automatically screening wastes.
Background
The cat litter box is a household device for pet cat to excrete, and the quality of sanitation and hygiene is directly related to the quality of household sanitation. With the increasing requirements of people on household sanitation and hygiene, the cat litter box capable of automatically cleaning excrement of cats is widely applied without manual cleaning.
In the prior art, a cat litter basin product with an automatic excrement cleaning function is most exploded to realize the purpose of screening excrement by rotating a basin body. Such litter box products typically integrate a screen member having a screening function on a vertically mounted cylindrical box body, the screen having a screen aperture that is larger than the litter size and smaller than the faeces size. The motor can drive the cylindrical basin body to rotate within a certain angle range. When the cylindrical basin body swings left and right to rotate a certain angle under the drive of the motor, cat litter and excrement enter the screen mesh component under the action of gravity, the cat litter continuously returns to the bottom of the basin body through the screen holes of the screen mesh, the excrement is screened out by the screen mesh, and the cat litter and excrement are sent into the waste collecting device through the mechanism, so that the aim of removing the excrement is fulfilled.
Although the automatic rotating cat litter basin with the structure can achieve a better excrement removing effect, the cat litter basin still has the following technical defects:
firstly, the driving device drives the basin body and the cat litter and waste inside to integrally rotate and swing, the required driving force is large, the driving cost is high, the control difficulty is large, and the structural stability is low.
And secondly, because the whole basin body is required to be rotated and swung, most of the basin body is closed in order to prevent cat litter and waste from spilling out, and only an inlet is formed in the top of the basin body, so that the space in the basin body is small, and the comfort level of a cat in use is reduced.
Thirdly, the inside of the cylindrical barrel which is vertically arranged is not easy to clean, and peculiar smell is easy to be emitted and bacterial and virus are easy to breed.
Accordingly, there is a need for improvements in the art for litter box products.

The implementations described in the following exemplary examples do not represent all implementations consistent with the application. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus or methods consistent with aspects of the application as detailed in the accompanying claims.
Example 1
As shown in fig. 1 to 5, the cat litter box for automatically screening out waste according to the present application comprises a box body 10, a supporting frame 20 for supporting the box body, a rotatable screen 30, a baffle 40, a waste storage box 50, a driving device 60, and a control device, wherein:
basin body 10 is the horizontal cross section of transversely installing and is curved hollow post structure, hollow post structure includes cylinder 11 and sets up end plate 12 at cylinder 11 both ends, basin body opening 13 has been seted up at the top of cylinder 11 to supply the cat to get into the inside of basin body, two the space that holds cat litter and supply the cat activity is enclosed jointly to the inner wall of end plate 12 and cylinder 11.
The rotatable screen 30 is disposed in the tub 10, and has a generally L-shaped cross-section and an inner space for accommodating at least a portion of waste and cat litter, and the wall surface of the rotatable screen 30 is provided with a plurality of screen holes, and the size of the screen holes is used for the cat litter to leak through and retain the waste. The upper end of the rotatable screen 30 is provided with a rotating shaft 311, two ends of the rotating shaft 311 are installed in the installation holes at the upper end of the end plate 12, and the center line of the rotating shaft 311 coincides with the center line of the column 11. The rotating shaft 311 is driven by the driving device 60 to rotate and reset the rotatable screen 30. The baffle 40 is arranged on the right side of the rotatable screen 30 and covers the basin opening 13 on the right side of the rotatable screen 30; the driving device 60 can drive the rotatable screen 30 to rotate to the lifting position and reset; the control device is used for controlling the operation of the driving device 60.
When the automatic waste screening command is executed, the control device controls the driving device 60 to drive the rotatable screen 30 to rotate to the lifting position in the forward direction, and then reset in the reverse direction; waste within the basin 10 is trapped by the rotatable screen 30 and falls onto the baffle 40 and is then directed by the baffle 40 into the waste receptacle 50.
The lifting position refers to a position where the rotatable screen 30 rotates from the inside of the tub 10 to above the tub 10, and the waste trapped by the rotatable screen 30 may fall onto the baffle 40 under the action of gravity. The lifting position is a position range, and the lifting position is different according to the specific structure of the rotatable screen or the position of the center line of the rotating shaft of the rotatable screen.
The cat litter box capable of automatically screening out waste in this embodiment controls the driving device 60 to drive the rotatable screen 30 to rotate forward to the raised position, so that waste in the box body 10 can be effectively trapped and fall onto the baffle 40, and then enter the waste storage box 50 through the baffle 40. The control device can control the driving device 60 to reversely operate, so as to drive the rotatable screen 30 to reversely reset. Not only has high cleaning efficiency, but also the clean and sanitary basin body is easier to clean; meanwhile, the rotating structure and the control are not complex, and the cost is low.
The basin body 10 and the cat litter and waste inside do not need to integrally rotate, so that the required driving force is small, the driving cost is reduced, the control difficulty is reduced, and the structural stability is improved. Meanwhile, the basin body 10 can be not arranged in a closed barrel shape, so that raw materials and cost are further saved.
It should be noted that, the rotatable screen 30 is other rotatable screen structures having a longitudinal section substantially in L-shape or C-shape, such as rake structure, ladle structure, cylindrical screen structure, semi-cylindrical screen structure, which are conventional in the art; the rotatable screen 30 may also be in other viable forms known in the art. So long as the internal space for accommodating at least part of the wastes and the cat litter can be satisfied, the wastes with larger volume can be trapped.
The waste includes fecal matter and contaminated cat litter clumps. As will be readily appreciated by those skilled in the art, the openings of the rotatable screen may be elongated openings, circular openings, elliptical openings, etc. The rotatable screen 30 may also be a mesh of a grating-type structure through which cat litter may leak from the interstices (i.e., mesh) of the grating.
In this embodiment, the hollow pillar structure is a specific form of the basin 10. Of course, the basin 10 may take other forms as is known in the art, such as spherical, hemispherical, ellipsoidal, cylindrical, square, etc.
In this embodiment, since the tub 10 has a hollow column structure, the support frame 20 is supported at the bottom of the tub 10, so that the structural stability thereof can be improved.
When the bottom of the tub 10 is a plane, it can be directly supported on the ground without separately providing the support frame 20. At this time, the driving device 60 may be supported on the ground.
In this embodiment, the driving device 60 is mounted on the support frame 20. Of course, the driving device 60 may also be supported outside the supporting frame 20.
Preferably, in the initial position, the included angle α between the main body portion of the rotatable screen 30 and the vertical direction is 10 ° to 90 °. It is further preferred that the body portion of the rotatable screen 30 is at an angle α of 40 to 50 ° to the vertical.
Preferably, after the rotatable screen 30 is rotated up to the raised position, the main body portion of the rotatable screen 30 forms an angle β of-60 ° to 60 ° with the vertical direction.
As shown in fig. 6, preferably, flanges 41 are provided at the outer edges of both sides of the baffle 40 to block the waste from sliding out of the baffle 40, and the flanges 41 have a notch at one side close to the waste receiving box 50 to form a discharge port 42; the baffle 40 is recessed toward the middle along the flanges 41 on both sides.
By such arrangement, the waste can be effectively guided into the waste storage box 50, so as to prevent the waste from falling to the outside of the baffle 40 or falling to the outside of the basin body 10, thereby reducing the risk of environmental pollution.
Further preferably, the side of the baffle 40 close to the waste 50 is lower than the side far from the waste container 50, i.e. the outlet is the lowest point of the baffle 40, so as to ensure that the waste falls into the waste container 50 to the greatest extent.
As shown in fig. 1 and 6, it is further preferred that the baffle 40 has openings 43 therein, the openings 43 allowing cat litter to leak therethrough to retain the waste. So configured, a small amount of litter trapped by the retractable rotary screen 30 may fall back into the column 11 from the screen openings 43, reducing litter waste.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 7, two guide plates 33 are disposed on the inner wall of the upper end of the rotatable screen 30, the two guide plates 33 are disposed at an included angle, and in an initial state, a distance between the upper ends of the two guide plates 33 is smaller than a distance between the lower ends, so that a guide discharge hole 34 is formed between the upper ends of the two guide plates.
When the rotatable screen 30 is rotated to the raised position, the retained waste in the rotatable screen 30 is guided by the guide plate 33 and falls from the guide discharge port 34 onto the baffle 40.
Of course, the guide plate 33 may be other guide structures in the prior art, such as a guide groove. The upper end of the rotatable screen 30 is inclined toward the middle and forms a central recess, and the waste trapped at the lower portion of the rotatable screen 30 is collected toward the central recess along the upper end of the rotatable screen 30 at the raised position and then falls from the end of the central recess onto the baffle 40.
By such arrangement, the waste can be effectively guided into the baffle 40 to prevent the waste from falling to the outside of the rotatable screen 30 or to the outside of the bowl 10, thereby reducing the risk of environmental pollution.
In a front projection, the angle θ between the guide plate 33 and the rotating shaft 311 is 10 to 80 °, and more preferably, the angle θ is 60 °.
As shown in fig. 1, according to the present application, the cat litter box further comprises a housing 70, wherein the housing 70 covers the tub body 10, the support frame 20, the retractable rotary screen 30, the baffle 40, the waste storage box 50, and the driving device 60, and a housing inlet 71 for a cat to go in and out is provided on the housing 70.
Preferably, the top and side walls of the housing 70 are configured to be open (as shown in FIG. 1), i.e., the housing 70 is devoid of top and side walls, and serves as the housing inlet 71. By doing so, the material of the housing 70 is reduced and the ingress and egress of cats is facilitated. Due to the special structural arrangement of the basin body and the rotatable screen, the cat litter basin can ensure clean and sanitary conditions, so that the environmental sanitation is not affected even if the outer shell 70 is opened.
It should be noted that the waste container 50 may be other waste container having a containing space, such as a waste container, which is feasible in the prior art. The garbage bag can also be directly used for storing the wastes. In use, the mouth of the garbage bag is directly connected with the bottom end of the baffle 40.
According to the present application, the driving device 60 includes a driving motor and a reduction gear set. The rotating shaft 311 is fixedly connected with the last stage of the reduction gear set, and is driven to rotate or reset by the last stage of the reduction gear.
According to the application, the litter box further comprises a weight detection device, which is communicatively connected with the control device. The weight detecting device is arranged at the bottom of the outer part of the basin body 10 and is used for detecting the weight change of the basin body and converting the weight change into a signal to be transmitted to the control device. The control device starts the driving mechanism to execute the operation of automatically cleaning the waste according to the signal.
According to the cat litter box, a cat enters the cat litter box to drain and leaves, the weight of the cat litter box changes in the process, and the weight detection device detects the weight change, namely, the cat is considered to use the cat litter box once, and a feedback signal is formed for the control device.
According to the application, the control device is communicatively connected to the drive device and the weight detection device, as shown in fig. 8. The control device comprises a timer. The method can be the prior art such as the prior singlechip, PLC and the like.
In the present application, various control methods can be used to control the operation of automatically removing waste. For example:
as shown in fig. 9, a control method of the control device of the present application includes the steps of:
(1) When the control device receives the signal of the weight detection device, the control device sends out an instruction to control the driving device to execute the step of automatically cleaning the waste, and the timer counts the forward rotation time; at this time, the driving device rotates forward at a set rotational speed for a preset rotational time to control the rotatable screen to rotate at a set angle so that the rotatable screen is lifted to a lifting position above the tub.
(2) When the forward rotation time is greater than or equal to the preset forward rotation time, the control device controls the driving device to stop forward rotation, and the timer counts the stop time; at this time, the rotatable screen is in the raised position, and the waste in the rotatable screen falls into the waste storage box within a preset stop time.

When the operation of automatically removing the waste is required, an automatic removing process of the application comprises the following steps:
(1) The driving device 60 drives the rotatable screen 30 to rotate from an initial position along the inner wall of the cylinder 11, when cat litter and excrement pass through, the cat litter with small diameter passes through the sieve holes and returns to the bottom of the cat litter basin, and massive waste is trapped above the rotatable screen 30, so that when the rotatable screen 30 continues to rotate, the rotatable screen 30 breaks away the waste from the cat litter and temporarily stores the cat litter on the rotatable screen 30.
(2) When the rotatable screen 30 continues to rotate along the center line of the rotation shaft and gradually rises to the raised position, the temporarily stored block waste in the rotatable screen 30 gradually slides onto the baffle 40 under the action of gravity and sequentially slides into the waste storage box 50 along the baffle 40, so as to achieve the purpose of removing the excrement in the cat litter box.
(3) The drive means 60 is then reversed to drive the rotatable screen 30 back to the initial position.
Example 2
As shown in fig. 10 to 17, the cat litter box of the application for automatically screening out waste has the same basic structure as that of the embodiment 1, except that the rotatable screen 30 is different in structure and/or installation position. Specifically:
as shown in fig. 10 and 11, the rotatable screen 30 has a rake structure, and includes a rectangular plate-shaped rotating body 31 and a screen body 32; the rotating shaft 311 is provided at the upper part of the rotating body 31, and the rotation axis line of the rotating shaft 311 is parallel to the axis line of the column 11, and is driven to rotate by the driving device 60. As shown in fig. 15 and 16, the screen body 32 has a substantially L-shaped longitudinal section, and includes a rectangular plate-shaped screen upper portion 321 connected to the rotary body 31, and a plurality of hook structures 322 provided at the bottom of the screen upper portion 321, gaps between the hook structures 322 forming mesh openings, the hook structures 322 cooperating with the screen upper portion 321 to form the inner space for accommodating at least part of the waste and cat litter, thereby achieving the accommodation and screening of the waste.
In this embodiment, the rotatable screen 30 adopts a rake structure, so that the structural stability is higher, the structure is not complex, and the cost is reduced.
It should be noted that, the included angle α between the screen body 32 and the vertical direction may be flexibly set according to the holding amount of the cat litter inside the hollow column structure and the arc angle of the hollow column structure, so as to provide the maximum cat activity space.
As shown in fig. 12, in the initial position, the angle α between the screen body 32 and the vertical direction is preferably 10 ° to 90 °. Further preferably, the angle α between the screen body 32 and the vertical direction is 40 to 50 °.
Preferably, the screen body 32 forms an angle β of-60 ° to 60 ° with the vertical direction after the rotatable screen 30 is rotated up to the raised position.
It is further preferred that the screen body 32 forms an angle beta of-45 deg. to 45 deg. with the vertical direction after the rotatable screen 30 is rotated up to the raised position.
More preferably, as shown in fig. 14, the angle β between the screen body 32 and the vertical direction is-45 ° to 0 °. At this time, the rotatable screen 30 is not beyond the vertical center line and is still located at the left side of the vertical center line, so that the rotation angle of the rotatable screen 30 is relatively small, the power consumption is reduced, and the control cost is reduced while ensuring that the waste is effectively thrown into the waste storage box 50.
According to a partially preferred embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 10, 11, 16 and 17, the rotation shaft 311 is eccentrically installed with respect to the shaft center line of the hollow pole structure, and the screen upper portion 321 is telescopically coupled with the rotation body 31.
So set up, rotatable sieve 30's rotation axis central line is installed for the axle central line eccentric of hollow post structure, consequently, makes the inside space that supplies the cat activity of cat litter basin bigger under the same basin body volumetric premise, has improved the use comfort of cat. The cat's movable space is increased by 25-35% compared to a mounting structure in which the axis of rotation of the rotatable screen 30 coincides with the axis of rotation of the hollow cylindrical structure. Meanwhile, the same cat litter box can be suitable for cats with different sizes, has long service life, and is very convenient for families with cats with different sizes.
As shown in fig. 11, 12 and 14, according to an embodiment of the present application, the diameter Φ of the arc-shaped inner wall of the hollow column structure is 475mm, and the distance L1 between the center O of the rotating shaft 311 and the center a of the arc is 58mm in the orthographic view of the side view; the screen body 32 is at an angle α of 45 ° to the vertical. The cat's movable space is increased by about 30% as compared to a mounting structure in which the rotational axis centerline of the rotatable screen 30 coincides with the axial centerline of the hollow cylinder structure.
In this embodiment, as shown in fig. 14, when the rotatable screen 30 is rotated to the raised position, the screen body 32 forms an angle β of-25 ° with respect to the vertical direction.
In the present application, the screen upper portion 321 may be telescopically connected to the rotary body 31 in various specific telescopic structures, for example, a guide groove is formed in the rear wall of the rotary body 31, a guide post and a compression spring are installed in the guide groove, and the extension and shortening of the screen upper portion of the rotatable screen is achieved by extension and compression of the spring.
As shown in fig. 16 and 17, the rotary body 31 includes a front cover plate 312 and a rear cover plate 313, and a space for the screen upper portion 321 to be inserted and retracted from the bottom is formed between the front cover plate 312 and the rear cover plate 313; in the initial position, the front cover plate 312 is close to the center of the hollow column, and the rear cover plate 313 is far from the center of the hollow column; 10 guide grooves 314 are formed in the inner wall of the rear cover plate 313, 10 limiting blocks 323 are fixedly mounted on the upper portion 321 of the screen, and the limiting blocks 323 can slide up and down along the guide grooves 314 and are limited by the bottom surface of the guide grooves 314 so as to limit the elongation of the upper portion 321 of the screen.
The guide groove 314 is internally provided with a guide post 315, the guide post 315 is penetrated with a spring 316, and correspondingly, the limiting block 323 in the guide groove 314 is penetrated with the guide post 315 and is positioned below the spring 316.
In the initial state, the bottom of the hook-shaped structure 322 abuts against the inner wall of the cylinder 11, and the spring 316 is in a compressed state; when the automatic screening operation is performed, the driving device 60 drives the screen body 32 to rotate, the bottom of the hook-shaped structure 322 loses the abutting effect, and the limiting block 323 slides downwards along the guiding groove 314 under the elastic force of the spring 316, so as to drive the screen upper portion 321 to extend downwards; when the stopper 323 reaches the bottom surface of the groove, it is stopped by the bottom surface of the groove. When the bottom of the hook-shaped structure 322 contacts with the inner wall of the cylinder 11 during the resetting, the inner wall of the cylinder 11 generates an upward pushing force to the hook-shaped structure 322 and the upper screen portion 321, so that the rotatable screen 30 is reset and contracted upward along the rotating body 31, and the spring 316 is compressed.
The number of the guide grooves 314, the guide posts 315, and the springs 316 may be flexibly set on the premise of satisfying structural stability according to the weight, the size, and the like of the rotatable screen.
It should be noted that, as will be readily understood by those skilled in the art, the hollow column structure is not limited to horizontal installation, and may have a certain inclination angle in a certain range of front-rear and left-right directions according to different installation accuracy, without affecting the implementation of the functions of the present application.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 13, there is a gap between the extreme end of the screen body 32 and the inner wall of the upper edge of the column 11 in a front projection view in a side view. So set up, make scalable rotary screen 30 resets the time, the process is difficult for being blocked when the upper edge of cylinder 11 and influence rotatable screen 30's normal reset has improved cat litter basin's life, ensures that user experience feels good.
Further preferably, the gap is 2 to 5mm. Further preferably, the gap is 3mm.
The cross section of the column 11 may be an elliptical arc cross section.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 18, two guide plates 33 are disposed on the inner wall of the upper end of the rotatable screen 30, the two guide plates 33 are disposed at an included angle, and in an initial state, a distance between the upper ends of the two guide plates 33 is smaller than a distance between the lower ends, so that a guide discharge hole 34 is formed between the upper ends of the two guide plates.
When the rotatable screen 30 is rotated to the raised position, the retained waste in the rotatable screen 30 is guided by the guide plate 33 and falls from the guide discharge port 34 onto the baffle 40.
When an operation of automatically removing waste is required, an automatic removal process of the present embodiment includes the following steps:
(1) The driving device 60 drives the rotating body 31 to rotate, drives the sieve body 32 to rotate from an initial position along the inner wall of the cylinder 11, when cat litter and excrement pass through, the cat litter with small diameter can pass through the sieve holes and return to the bottom of the cat litter basin, massive waste is trapped above the sieve body 32, and when the sieve body 32 continues to rotate, the sieve body 32 breaks away the waste from the cat litter and is temporarily stored on the sieve body 32.
(2) When the rotatable screen 30 continues to rotate along the rotation axis of the rotation shaft and gradually rises to the raised position, the temporarily stored block waste in the screen body 32 gradually slides onto the baffle 40 under the action of gravity and sequentially slides into the waste storage box 50 along the baffle 40, so as to achieve the purpose of removing the excrement in the cat litter box.
(3) The drive means 60 is then reversed to drive the rotatable screen 30 back to the initial position.
The above description of the specific embodiments of the present application has been given by way of example only, and the present application is not limited to the above described specific embodiments. Any equivalent modifications and substitutions for this practical use will also occur to those skilled in the art, and are within the scope of the present application. Accordingly, equivalent changes and modifications are intended to be included within the scope of the present application without departing from the spirit and scope thereof.
