With the development and popularization of 5G, how to control the power consumption of 5G becomes a problem which needs to be solved by operators and equipment manufacturers. The 5G Base station mainly comprises a baseband processing Unit (BBU) and an Active Antenna processing Unit (AAU), wherein the BBU power consumption is related to the inserted board, and is not greatly affected by the service, while the AAU power consumption is related to the service load, under the current equipment, the 5G single station power consumption is about 2.5-3.5 times that of the 4G single station, and the AAU power consumption increase is the main reason of the 5G power consumption increase. The AAU mainly has the functions of converting baseband digital signals into analog signals, modulating the analog signals into high-frequency radio-frequency signals, amplifying power through a power amplification unit and transmitting the high-frequency radio-frequency signals through an antenna. One cell corresponds to one AAU, and currently, the conventional AAU commercial equipment has 64 radio frequency channels. At the initial stage of 5G network establishment, the user quantity is small, especially between 0 point in the early morning and 6 points in the early morning, a large amount of AAUs are transmitted with full power, but only a small amount of users are used, and huge power consumption waste is caused. Therefore, the present application provides a power consumption control method, which achieves the purpose of reducing the power consumption of the 5G base station by dynamically controlling the state of the AAU radio frequency channel, and will be described in detail in the following embodiments.
Example one
Referring to fig. 1, a flowchart illustrating specific steps of a power consumption control method according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown.
Step 101, monitoring a target communication parameter of a cell, wherein the target communication parameter is used for indicating a communication service requirement of the cell.
In the present invention, an Operation and Maintenance Center (OMC) monitors a target communication parameter of a cell in real time, so as to facilitate grasping a dynamic state of a communication service requirement of the cell, where the target communication parameter is used to indicate the communication service requirement of the cell, and may be a number of users requesting communication by the cell, or a utilization rate of a Physical Resource Block (PRB), and thus, embodiments of the present invention are not specifically limited.
Preferably, the target communication parameters of the cell are monitored according to a preset time period. The preset time period is set according to an actual situation, and may be 5 minutes or 15 minutes, and the embodiment of the present invention is not particularly limited.
In the embodiment of the invention, the dynamic condition of the communication service requirement of the cell is mastered by monitoring the target communication parameter of the cell in real time, so that the state of the AAU radio frequency channel is adjusted in time according to the communication service requirement of the cell, and the aim of reducing power consumption is fulfilled.
And step 102, determining a target closing grade of the target communication parameter according to a mapping relation between a preset value range and the closing grade.
In the embodiment of the invention, a corresponding preset value-taking interval is set for each target communication parameter, the preset value-taking intervals correspond to closing grades one by one, the value-taking intervals are continuous and are not overlapped, the larger the value-taking interval is, the lower the corresponding closing grade is, the closing grade is used for indicating the number of AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed, and the higher the target closing grade is, the larger the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is; the lower the target shutdown level, the smaller the number of AAU radio frequency channels that need to be shut down. And determining the target closing level of the target communication parameter according to the value of the monitored target communication parameter.
For example, the preset value intervals are a first value interval [ a1, a2), a second value interval [ a2, a3), and a third value interval [ a3, a4), where a1< a2< a3< a4, and if the closing level corresponding to the first value interval is n1, the closing level corresponding to the second value interval is n2, and the closing level corresponding to the third value interval is n3, n1 is higher than n2 and higher than n 3.
And 103, determining the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed according to the target closing grade.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the shutdown level corresponds to the number of the AAU radio frequency channels that need to be shutdown, and the number of the AAU radio frequency channels that need to be shutdown can be determined according to the target shutdown level, where the higher the target shutdown level is, the higher the target shutdown level is: the larger the value of the target closing grade is, the larger the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is; the lower the target shutdown level, i.e.: the smaller the value of the target closing grade is, the smaller the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is.
Preferably, a preset mapping list is established, wherein the mapping list comprises a value interval of a target communication parameter, a closing grade and the number of AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed, the value interval corresponds to the closing grade one by one, and the closing grade corresponds to the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed one by one; determining a target closing grade according to the value of the target communication parameter; and determining the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed according to the target closing grade.
For example, the target communication parameter is greater than or equal to a first threshold and belongs to a first value-taking interval, the closing level corresponding to the first value-taking interval is found in a preset mapping list as a first level, and then the number of the AAU radio frequency channels which need to be closed and correspond to the first level is further found in the mapping list, so that the target closing level is determined according to the value of the target parameter, and the number of the AAU radio frequency channels which need to be closed is further determined according to the target closing level.
In the embodiment of the invention, the mapping relation between the target communication parameters and the closing grade is established, and the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is determined according to the closing grade, so that the working state of the AAU radio frequency channels is adjusted in real time according to the communication service requirement of the cell, the power waste caused by the fact that all the AAU radio frequency channels are opened under the condition that the communication service requirement of the cell is low is avoided, and the power consumption of the 5G base station is reduced.
And 104, adjusting the state of the AAU radio frequency channel of the cell according to the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the states of the AAU radio frequency channel include an open state and a closed state.
If the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is larger than that of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state, subtracting the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state from the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed to obtain a channel closed number; and closing the current AAU radio frequency channel in the opening state according to the channel closing number.
If the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is less than the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the current closing state, subtracting the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed by the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the current closing state to obtain a channel opening number; and opening the current AAU radio frequency channel in the closed state according to the channel opening number.
And if the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is equal to the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state, keeping the working state of the current AAU radio frequency channel unchanged.
The invention provides a power consumption control method, which comprises the following steps: monitoring a target communication parameter of a cell, wherein the target communication parameter is used for indicating the communication service requirement of the cell; determining a target closing grade of the target communication parameter according to a mapping relation between a preset value interval and the closing grade; determining the number of AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed according to the target closing grade; and adjusting the state of the AAU radio frequency channel of the cell according to the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed. The invention can reduce the power consumption of the 5G base station by dynamically controlling the state of the AAU radio frequency channel, saves the research and development cost and shortens the time period of putting into use.
Example two
Referring to fig. 2, a flowchart illustrating specific steps of a power consumption control method according to a second embodiment of the present invention is shown.
Step 201, initializing the state of each AAU radio frequency channel to an open state.
And the OMC initializes the AAU radio frequency channels, so that all the AAU radio frequency channels are in an open state, and the AAU radio frequency channels can normally meet the communication service requirements of the cell.
Step 202, monitoring a target communication parameter of a cell, where the target communication parameter is used to indicate a communication service requirement of the cell.
This step can refer to the detailed description of step 101, and is not described herein again.
And 203, determining a target closing level of the target communication parameter according to a mapping relation between a preset value range and the closing level.
If the target communication parameter is the number of users in the cell, step 203 includes:
sub-step a1, if the number of the users in the cell is greater than or equal to the first user number threshold, determining that the target closing level of the target communication parameter is the first level.
Sub-step a2, if the number of the users in the cell is greater than or equal to the second user number threshold and smaller than the first user number threshold, determining that the target closing level of the target communication parameter is the second level.
Sub-step a3, if the number of the users in the cell is greater than or equal to the third user number threshold and less than the second user number threshold, determining that the target closing level of the target communication parameter is the third level.
Wherein, the number of users in the cell is the number of users who send out communication request in the cell at present, include: the number of users currently sending short message requests, the number of users currently sending call requests and the number of users currently sending network data requests are usually the sum of the three numbers of users.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the first user number threshold is greater than the second user number threshold, the second user number threshold is greater than the third user number threshold, and the smaller the cell user number is, the lower the current communication service requirement is, the smaller the number of actually occupied AAU radio frequency channels is, so that the smaller the cell user number is, the higher the corresponding target closing level is, the higher the target closing level is, the larger the number of AAU radio frequency channels that need to be closed is, so that the number of AAU radio frequency channels that need to be closed corresponding to the first level is the minimum, and the number of AAU radio frequency channels that need to be closed corresponding to the third level is the maximum.
If the target communication parameter is PRB utilization, step 203 includes:
sub-step B1, determining the target shutdown level of the target communication parameter to be a first level if the PRB utilization is greater than or equal to a first utilization threshold.
Sub-step B2, if the PRB utilization is greater than or equal to a second utilization threshold and less than a first utilization threshold, determining that the target shutdown level of the target communication parameter is a second level.
Sub-step B3, if the PRB utilization is greater than or equal to a third utilization threshold and less than a second utilization threshold, determining that the target shutdown level of the target communication parameter is a third level.
The PRB utilization may be an uplink PRB utilization or a downlink PRB utilization, and the embodiment of the present invention is not specifically limited. The uplink PRB utilization rate refers to the utilization rate of PRB when a user sends a communication request to the base station, and the downlink PRB utilization rate refers to the utilization rate of PRB when the base station sends the communication request to the user.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the first utilization threshold is greater than the second utilization threshold, the second utilization threshold is greater than the third utilization threshold, and the smaller the PRB utilization is, the lower the current communication service requirement is, the smaller the number of actually occupied AAU radio frequency channels is, so the smaller the PRB utilization is, the higher the corresponding target closing level is, the higher the target closing level is, the larger the number of AAU radio frequency channels that need to be closed is, and thus the number of AAU radio frequency channels that need to be closed corresponding to the first level is the smallest, and the number of AAU radio frequency channels that need to be closed corresponding to the third level is the largest.
And 204, calculating the target closing grade as an index of a preset index function to obtain a closing index, wherein the base number of the preset index function is more than 1.
In this embodiment of the present invention, the shutdown index is used to establish a relationship between the target shutdown level and the number of the AAU radio frequency channels that need to be shut down, and the higher the target shutdown level is, the larger the shutdown index is, the larger the number of the AAU radio frequency channels that need to be shut down is.
Specifically, when the base number of the preset exponential function is 2, the closing exponent may be represented as:
f=2n,0≤n≤6 (1)
wherein f is a closing index, n is the target closing grade, and if the target closing grade is a first grade, the value of n is 0; if the target closing grade is a second grade, the value of n is 1; if the target shutdown level is the third level, n has a value of 2. Of course, the target closing level can also be expressed by other values, but the value of n must be an integer satisfying the value range described in (1).
Step 205, calculating a ratio of the total number of the AAU radio frequency channels to the shutdown index to obtain a necessary number of channels, where the necessary number of channels represents the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be opened to support the communication service requirement under the target shutdown level.
Specifically, when the base number of the preset exponential function is 2, the necessary number of channels may be represented as:
Figure BDA0002429642490000081
wherein, B is the necessary number of channels, m is the total number of AAU radio frequency channels, and for a 5G base station, the value of m is usually 64.
And step 206, calculating the difference value between the total number of the AAU radio frequency channels and the necessary number of the channels to obtain the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed.
Specifically, when the base number of the preset exponential function is 2, the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be closed may be represented as:
Figure BDA0002429642490000082
wherein, D represents the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be closed, m is the total number of the AAU radio frequency channels, for a 5G base station, the value of m is usually 64, n is the target closing level, and if the target closing level is the first level, the value of n is 0; if the target closing grade is a second grade, the value of n is 1; if the target shutdown level is the third level, n has a value of 2. Certainly, the target closing level may also be represented by other values, but in practical applications, the required number of channels B is greater than or equal to 1, and therefore the value of n must be greater than or equal to 0, and because the number of AAU radio frequency channels to be closed must be greater than or equal to 0, the required number of channels must be less than or equal to m, and therefore, for a 5G base station, the value of n must be an integer that satisfies the value range in (1), for example, n takes 6 at maximum, so that a maximum number of times of closing 63 AAU radio frequency channels is achieved.
If the target communication parameter is the number of users in the cell, assuming that the first user threshold is 20, the second user threshold is 10, and the third user threshold is 0:
if the number of the users in the cell is greater than or equal to 20, the value of n is 0, D is 0, that is, the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be closed is 0, and all 64 radio frequency channels of the AAU need to be in a normal operation state.
If the number of the cell users is less than 20 and greater than or equal to 10, the value of n is 1, D is 32, that is, the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be closed is 32, and compared with the case that all the AAU radio frequency channels are opened, only half of the AAU radio frequency channels are occupied to meet the current communication service requirement, so that theoretically, 50% of power consumption can be saved.
If the number of the cell users is less than 10 and greater than or equal to 0, the value of n is 2, D is 48, that is, the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be closed is 48, and compared with the case that all the AAU radio frequency channels are opened, only one quarter of the AAU radio frequency channels are occupied to meet the current communication service requirement, so that the power consumption can be theoretically saved by 75%.
If the target communication parameter is PRB utilization, assuming that the first utilization threshold is 50%, the second utilization threshold is 30%, and the third utilization threshold is 0%:
if the PRB utilization rate is greater than or equal to 50%, the value of n is 0, D is 0, namely the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is 0, and all 64 radio frequency channels of the AAU need to be in a normal operation state.
If the utilization rate of the PRB is less than 50% and greater than or equal to 30%, the value of n is 1, D is 32, namely the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is 32, and compared with the situation that all the AAU radio frequency channels are opened, only half of the AAU radio frequency channels are occupied to meet the current communication service requirement, and theoretically, 50% of power consumption can be saved.
If the PRB utilization rate is less than 30% and greater than or equal to 0%, the value of n is 2, D is 48, namely the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is 48, and compared with the situation that all the AAU radio frequency channels are opened, only one quarter of the AAU radio frequency channels are occupied to meet the current communication service requirement, and the power consumption can be theoretically saved by 75%.
In practical applications, the base number of the preset exponential function may be other values, and the value of n may also be set as other values according to the target closing level, which is not specifically limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
The embodiment of the invention calculates the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed according to the communication service requirement of the cell through an algorithm, thereby avoiding the power waste caused by the fact that all the AAU radio frequency channels are opened under the condition of small communication service requirement.
And step 207, if the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is greater than the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state, subtracting the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state from the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed to obtain a channel closed number.
If the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is larger than that of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state, the number of the AAU radio frequency channels which are required to be opened by the current communication service exceeds the actual communication service requirement, and the power consumption is reduced to the maximum extent under the condition of ensuring the normal service requirement by closing part of the AAU radio frequency channels.
And step 208, closing the current AAU radio frequency channel in the opening state according to the channel closing number.
Step 209, if the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be closed is less than the number of the AAU radio frequency channels currently in the closed state, subtracting the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be closed from the number of the AAU radio frequency channels currently in the closed state to obtain a channel opening number.
If the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is less than that of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state, the number of the AAU radio frequency channels which are opened currently cannot meet the actual communication service requirement, and a part of the AAU radio frequency channels need to be opened to meet the normal communication service requirement.
And step 210, opening the current AAU radio frequency channel in the closed state according to the channel opening number.
And if the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is equal to the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state at present, the power provided by the current AAU is just met with the current communication service requirement, and the working state of the current AAU radio frequency channel is kept unchanged.
After step 210, the adjustment result of the working state of the AAU radio frequency channel may be fed back, and the target communication parameters of the cell may be continuously monitored according to the preset period.
Preferably, if the state execution of the AAU radio frequency channel of the cell is failed to be adjusted according to the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be closed, step 202 is entered to determine the target closing level again according to the value of the target communication parameter.
The invention provides a power consumption control method, which comprises the following steps: initializing the state of each AAU radio frequency channel into an open state; monitoring a target communication parameter of a cell, wherein the target communication parameter is used for indicating the communication service requirement of the cell; determining a target closing grade of the target communication parameter according to a mapping relation between a preset value interval and the closing grade; calculating the target closing grade as an index of a preset index function to obtain a closing index, wherein the bottom number of the preset index function is more than 1; calculating the ratio of the total number of AAU radio frequency channels to the closing index to obtain the necessary channel number, wherein the necessary channel number represents the number of the AAU radio frequency channels to be opened for supporting the communication service requirement under the target closing grade; calculating the difference value between the total number of the AAU radio frequency channels and the necessary number of the channels to obtain the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed; if the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is larger than that of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state, subtracting the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the closed state from the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed to obtain a channel closed number; closing the AAU radio frequency channel in the opening state at present according to the channel closing number; if the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed is less than the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the current closing state, subtracting the number of the AAU radio frequency channels needing to be closed by the number of the AAU radio frequency channels in the current closing state to obtain a channel opening number; and opening the current AAU radio frequency channel in the closed state according to the channel opening number.
