Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 1, a first embodiment of the present invention provides an adapter work control method for a printer, which can be executed by the printer, and in particular, executed by one or more processors in the printer, to at least implement the following steps:
s101, reading the printing content and controlling a printing head to print according to the printing content.
In this embodiment, the print content may be stored in a memory of the printer, where the print content may be pre-stored in the printer, may also be generated by the printer itself, and may also be obtained by the printer by receiving an external device connected thereto, which is not limited in the present invention.
Among them, in particular, the print content generally includes print data of a plurality of dot lines, and the print head of the printer prints the print data of one dot line at a time. Wherein each dot row includes dots that need to be printed and dots that do not need to be printed. It will be appreciated that the more dots that need to be printed (i.e. the higher the print rate), the greater the total power that needs to be output, and the more dots that need not be printed (i.e. the lower the print rate), the less the total power that needs to be output.
In addition, it should be noted that, in general, each point row belongs to one page, and one page includes a plurality of point rows.
S102, calculating the power consumption of the printer in a preset time period according to the printing content printed in the preset time period.
In the present embodiment, as can be seen from the above description, in the printing process of the printer, the consumed power in the preset time period is related to two factors, one is the printing speed, which affects the total number of dot rows printed in the preset time period, and the other is the printing rate of each dot row, that is, the number of dots to be printed in each dot row. It is obvious that the higher the printing speed, the higher the printing rate per dot row, the greater the power consumption in the preset time period, and conversely, the smaller the power consumption.
S103, judging whether the consumed power exceeds the target power.
In the present embodiment, the target power is determined according to a parameter of an adapter of the printer. The Power adapter (Power adapter) is a Power supply conversion device commonly used for electronic equipment and electronic appliances, generally comprises components such as a shell, a transformer, an inductor, a capacitor, a control IC (integrated circuit), a PCB (printed circuit board) and the like, and the working principle of the Power adapter is that alternating current input is converted into direct current output. The technical indexes of the power adapter can be divided into two types: one is a quality indicator that includes the allowable input voltage, output current and output voltage regulation range. One is a quality index for measuring the stability of the output dc voltage, including the voltage stability factor (or voltage regulation rate), the output resistance (or current regulation rate), the ripple voltage (ambient and random drift) and the temperature factor.
The target power may be determined according to the output voltage, the output current and the output voltage regulation range of the power adapter.
And S104, when the consumed power is judged to exceed the target power, controlling to stop printing, and after the preset recovery time is continued, recovering the printing operation.
In this embodiment, when it is determined that the consumed power exceeds the target power, it indicates that the adaptor is already or nearly in an overload operating state, and if the printing operation is continuously performed, the adaptor may be damaged. Therefore, the printer is controlled to stop printing, then after the recovery time is continued, the function or output of the adapter is recovered, and printing is continued, so that the adapter is not damaged due to long-time overload work.
It should be noted that, in this embodiment, when stopping printing, an alarm or a reminder may be issued to let the user know the reason why the printer stopped printing at present, and the user does not mistakenly think that the printer is damaged, and correspondingly, after resuming printing, the printer releases the alarm or issues a corresponding reminder.
In summary, it can be seen that in the present embodiment, in a normal case (i.e. in a case where the printing rate is normal), since the adapter can satisfy the printing requirement, continuous printing can be performed. In some special cases, for example, for some continuous dot rows with a relatively high printing rate, the printer may pause printing for a short time and then resume printing, so as to avoid the adapter from being damaged due to long-time high-power operation. The embodiment can adapt to the printing requirements under different conditions without adopting a high-performance adapter, and ensures the printing efficiency on the premise of reducing the cost of the whole printer as much as possible.
Referring to fig. 2, a second embodiment of the present invention further provides an adaptor operation control method for a printer, including:
s201, reading printing content, and controlling a printing head to print according to the printing content;
s202, calculating the power consumption of the printer in a preset time period according to the printing content printed in the preset time period;
s203, judging whether the consumed power exceeds a target power;
s204, when the consumed power is judged to exceed the target power, after the current page is printed, the printing is controlled to stop, and after the preset recovery time is continued, the printing operation is recovered; wherein the target power and the recovery time are determined according to parameters of an adapter of a printer.
The difference from the first embodiment is that when the power consumption of the printer is determined to exceed the target power, the printing is not directly stopped, but is stopped after the current page is printed, so that a user can be prevented from mistakenly considering that the printer is damaged due to pause in the printing process, and poor use experience is brought to the user. And carry out the pause again after printing and accomplishing current page, because the switching of printing the page itself needs certain time, the user can be more difficult to perceive the action of the pause printing of printer, keeps a sensation of printing continuously all the time for the user, has promoted user's printing experience.
Referring to fig. 3, a third embodiment of the present invention further provides an adapter work control method for a printer, including:
s301, reading printing contents and controlling a printing head to print according to the printing contents;
s302, calculating the power consumption of the printer in a preset time period according to the printing content printed in the preset time period;
s303, judging whether the consumed power exceeds a target power;
s304, when the consumed power is judged to exceed the target power, further judging whether the consumed power exceeds a stopping power;
s305, if the power is larger than the stop power, controlling to stop printing, and after the preset recovery time is continued, recovering the printing operation;
s306, if the stop power is not greater than the stop power, controlling to stop printing after the current page is printed, and resuming the printing operation after the preset resuming time is continued; wherein the target power and the recovery time are determined according to parameters of an adapter of a printer.
In the second embodiment described above, even if the consumed power is judged to be greater than the target power, the printing operation is continued until the current page is printed, which is advantageous in that the user is given a feeling of continuous printing all the time. But inevitably will place the adapter in an overloaded operating state resulting in possible damage.
For this reason, in the present embodiment, if it is determined that the consumed power is larger than the stop power, the suspended job is executed regardless of whether the printing of the current page is completed. Here, the stop power is a power value larger than the target power, which can be obtained empirically, and it is generally understood that after the stop power is exceeded, if the printer still maintains the printing operation, the adapter thereof is more likely to be damaged.
Referring to fig. 4, a fourth embodiment of the present invention further provides an adaptor operation control device for a printer, including:
a reading unit 410, configured to read print content and control a print head to print according to the print content;
a power consumption calculation unit 420 for calculating a power consumption of the printer in a preset time period according to a print content printed in the preset time period;

a print control unit 440 for controlling to stop printing when it is judged that the consumed power exceeds the target power, and resuming the printing operation after a preset resume time has continued; wherein the target power and the recovery time are determined according to parameters of an adapter of a printer.

a second judging unit 640, configured to, when it is judged that the consumed power exceeds the target power, further judge whether the consumed power exceeds a stop power; wherein the stopping power is greater than the target power; (ii) a
