It will be appreciated that in embodiments of the invention, reference to "within the vehicle" generally refers to the interior of the space defined by the vehicle frame.
Unless defined otherwise, all technical terms used in the examples of the present application have the same meaning as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art. Some technical terms appearing in the embodiments of the present application are explained below.
In order to make the technical solutions and advantages of the present application clearer, the following will describe the embodiments of the present application in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The suspension is a general name of all force transmission connecting devices between a vehicle frame and wheels of a vehicle, is an important component of a vehicle structure, and is used for providing buffer for a vehicle body structure in driving so as to ensure the driving comfort of a driver. During the running of the vehicle, the suspension generates a certain displacement in the vertical direction.
In the related art, a suspension is generally provided on a side of each wheel of the vehicle facing the frame. Meanwhile, in order to ensure that the suspension has a sufficient movement space in the vertical direction, the distance from the ground of the frame portion located above the suspension is generally designed to be higher than the distance from the ground of the remaining frame portion.
Here, taking the suspension system in the related art shown in fig. 1 as an example, referring to fig. 1, the suspension system includes a vehicle frame 1 and a plurality of suspension assemblies, wherein the vehicle frame 1 includes a body 11 and an extension portion 12, the extension portion 12 is located at one side of the body 11, and the distance from the ground of the extension portion 12 is greater than the distance from the ground of the body 11; the suspension system comprises a first arm body 2, a second arm body 3 and a plate body 4, wherein the first arm body 2, the second arm body 3 and the plate body 4 are all positioned at the lower part of an extension part 12. It will be appreciated that fig. 1 is a simplified structural schematic diagram, which identifies only two suspension assemblies.
However, since the distance from the ground of the frame part above the suspension is greater than the distance from the ground of the rest frame parts, i.e. the distance from the ground of the extension part 12 is greater than the distance from the ground of the body 11, the used space in the vehicle defined by the extension part 12 is reduced on the premise that the height of the frame is kept unchanged, which is not beneficial to the layout of the structure in the vehicle.
In order to solve the problems in the related art, embodiments of the present application provide a suspension system applied in a vehicle, and a schematic structural diagram of the suspension system is shown in fig. 2.
Referring to fig. 2, the suspension system includes a vehicle frame 1 and a plurality of suspension assemblies.
The frame 1 comprises a body 11 and an extension part 12 connected with the body 11, wherein the distance from the ground of the extension part 12 is the same as that of the body 11.
Each suspension assembly comprises a first arm 2, a second arm 3 and a plate 4.
Wherein, the first arm body 2 and the extension part 12 are positioned at the same side of the body 11, the distance from any point of the first arm body 2 to the ground is not higher than the distance from the highest point of the extension part 12 to the ground, and a perpendicular line from any point of the extension part 12 to the ground does not pass through any point of the first arm body 2, namely, the first arm body 2 is positioned at one side of the extension part 12; one end of the first arm 2 is connected to the body 11, and the other end is connected to one end of the second arm 3.
The plate body 4 is located on the side of the extension portion 12 away from the body 11.
The second arm 3 is located on one side of the plate 4 far from the body 11, the other end of the second arm 3 is connected with the plate 4, and the extending direction of the second arm 3 is perpendicular to the extending direction of the first arm 2.
It will be appreciated that since a vehicle typically has four wheels, the number of suspension assemblies may be four, only two of which are labeled in figure 2, the structure of the other two being simplified in figure 2 and not shown. In addition, the first arm body 2 is usually connected to the knuckle of the corresponding wheel through a connecting rod.
Therefore, in the suspension system provided in the embodiment of the present application, the distance from the ground of the extending portion 12 is set to be the same as the distance from the ground of the body 11, the first arm 2 and the extending portion 12 are disposed on the same side of the body 11, and the distance from the ground of any point of the first arm 2 is not higher than the distance from the highest point of the extending portion 12, and a perpendicular line from any point of the extending portion 12 to the ground does not pass through any point of the first arm 2, the plate body 4 is disposed on a side of the extending portion 12 away from the body 11, and the second arm 3 is disposed on a side of the plate body 4 away from the body 11, so that the suspension assembly is located outside the extending portion 12, but not on a lower side of the extending portion 12. Because the distance from the extending part 12 to the ground is not required to be larger than that from the body 11 to the ground, the use space in the vehicle defined by the vehicle frame 1 is increased on the premise that the height of the vehicle frame 1 is not changed, the arrangement of the structure in the vehicle is facilitated, and the flatness of the bottom of the vehicle defined by the vehicle frame is improved.
The structure of the suspension system provided by the embodiment of the present application will be further described with reference to fig. 2:
in a possible design, referring to fig. 2, the distance between the end of the first arm 2 connected to the second arm 3 and the body 11 is greater than the distance between the plate 4 and the body 11. That is, the length of the first arm body 2 is greater than the length of the extension portion 12.
And so arranged, the arrangement of the second arm body 3 and the plate body 4 can be facilitated. In addition, it can be understood from the viewpoint of the suspension system of the related art why the length of the first arm body 2 is set to be larger than the length of the extension portion 12. Referring to fig. 1, in the suspension system of the related art, the second arm 3 is located at a lower portion of the extension portion 12, and the length of the first arm 2 is less than or equal to the length of the extension portion 12 when the second arm 3 is connected to the body 11. However, when the second arm 3 is disposed at a position where the extension portion 12 is far from the body 11, the first arm 2 having a length less than or equal to the length of the extension portion 12 cannot satisfy the installation requirement of the second arm 3, and thus the length of the first arm 2 needs to be extended, that is, the distance between the end of the first arm 2 connected to the second arm 3 and the body 11 is greater than the distance between the plate 4 and the body 11.
In one possible design, see fig. 2, the first arm 2 is connected to the body 11 by means of a first bushing; the first arm 2 is connected to the second arm 3 through a second bushing.
The first arm body 2 is connected with the body 11 by using the first bush, so that the effect of protecting the connection part of the first arm body 2 and the body 11 can be achieved; the first arm 2 and the second arm 3 are connected by the second bushing, which protects the joint between the first arm 2 and the second arm 3.
It can be understood that the bushing is a fitting for sealing and protecting mechanical parts, and is a ring sleeve for padding, the bushing is made of soft metal, rubber, nylon, non-metal polymer and the like, the materials of the bushing are relatively soft, the price and the cost are low, the bushing bears vibration, friction and corrosion to protect the wrapped parts in various severe working environments, and the bushing is convenient to replace after being damaged, low in cost and good in economy.
Further, for the bushing structure, the bushing comprises a first portion, a second portion and an elastic buffer, wherein the first portion is located in the second portion, and the first portion and the second portion are connected through the elastic buffer.
Optionally, the first portion, the second portion and the elastic buffer may be cylindrical structures, and the area of the cross section of the first portion is smaller than that of the cross section of the second portion. Further, the outer wall of the elastic buffer member may be connected to the inner wall of the second portion by an adhesive, and the inner wall of the elastic buffer member may be connected to the outer wall of the first portion by an adhesive.
Optionally, the elastic buffer may be plastic.
Alternatively, the types of bushings may include, but are not limited to, compression, shear, and composite types, among others.

Alternatively, one end of the first arm 2 is connected to a first portion of a second bushing, and a second portion of the second bushing is connected to one end of the second arm 3.
Optionally, the first end of the first arm 2 is connected to the first portion of the second bushing by welding, and the second portion of the second bushing is connected to the end of the second arm 3 by welding.
In one possible design, see fig. 2, the second arm body 3 comprises a first sub-arm 31 and a second sub-arm 32;
the first sub-arm 31 and the second sub-arm 32 are both located in a first plane, an included angle between the first plane and a plane where the plate body 4 is located is smaller than 45 degrees, and a distance from any point on the first sub-arm 31 to the ground is larger than a distance from any point on the second sub-arm 32 to the ground.
By providing the first sub-arm 31 and the second sub-arm 32, the sideslip of the wheel can be prevented by the cooperation of the first sub-arm 31 and the second sub-arm 32 with the plate body 4.
In one possible design, the length of the first sub-arm 31 is not equal to the length of the second sub-arm 32, i.e. the length of the first sub-arm 31 and the length of the second sub-arm 32 can be selectively set.
So set up, at the vehicle in-process of traveling, the wheel can change camber angle automatically and reduce the wheel track change and reduce wheel wear when producing the displacement in vertical direction, makes the area of contact on wheel and ground bigger, improves vehicle ride comfort and directional stability.
In a suspension with equal length of the first sub-arm 31 and the second sub-arm 32, when the wheel is displaced in the vertical direction, the wheel plane is not inclined, but the wheel track is greatly changed, which increases the possibility of the wheel sliding laterally. In the suspension in which the lengths of the first sub-arm 31 and the second sub-arm 32 are different from each other, when the wheel is displaced in the vertical direction, the change in the angle and the track of the wheel can be reduced by appropriately selecting the lengths of the first sub-arm 31 and the second sub-arm 32, and the wheel can be adapted to the deformation of the wheel.
Optionally, the length of the first sub-arm 31 is greater than the length of the second sub-arm 32.
Optionally, the length of the first sub-arm 31 is smaller than the length of the second sub-arm 32.
In a possible design, see fig. 2, the first sub-arm 31 is connected to the plate 4 by means of a third bushing; the second sub-arm 32 is connected to the plate body 4 through a fourth bushing.
The first sub-arm body 31 is connected to the plate body 4 by the third bushing, and the second sub-arm 32 is connected to the plate body 4 by the fourth bushing, so that the joint between the first sub-arm body 31 and the plate body 4 and the joint between the second sub-arm body 32 and the plate body 4 can be protected.
Optionally, one end of the first sub-arm 31 is connected to a first portion of a third bushing, and a second portion of the third bushing is connected to a positioning block on the plate body 4.
Optionally, one end of the first sub-arm 31 is connected to the first portion of the third bushing by welding, and the second portion of the third bushing is connected to the positioning block on the plate body 4 by welding.
Optionally, one end of the second sub-arm 32 is connected to a first portion of a fourth bushing, and a second portion of the fourth bushing is connected to a positioning block on the plate body 4.
Optionally, one end of the second sub-arm 32 is connected to the first portion of the fourth bushing by welding, and the second portion of the fourth bushing is connected to the positioning block on the plate body 4 by welding.
In a possible design, referring to fig. 2, the extension direction of the plate 4 is parallel to the height direction of the frame 1, which facilitates the arrangement of the plate 4 on the outer side of the frame 1.
Alternatively, the cross-sectional shape of the plate body 4 includes, but is not limited to: circular, rectangular, square, and the like. For example, referring to fig. 2, the plate body 4 has a rectangular cross-sectional shape.
Alternatively, the connecting manner of the plate body 4 and the extending portion 12 includes, but is not limited to, welding, riveting, bolting, etc., and is not limited in particular.
With such an arrangement, the first sub-arm 31 and the second sub-arm 32 are advantageously fixed to the vehicle frame 1, and the suspension is further connected to the vehicle frame 1 by adding the plate 4.
In a possible design, see fig. 2, the suspension assembly further comprises a resilient shock absorber 5, the resilient shock absorber 5 being connected to the first arm 2, and the resilient shock absorber 5 extending in a direction that is at an angle of less than 45 ° to the height of the frame 1.
So set up for elastic shock absorber 5 also is located the frame 1 outside, utilizes elastic shock absorber 5 can realize reducing the vibrations that transmit for the suspension subassembly.
Alternatively, the elastic damper includes, but is not limited to, hydraulic, pneumatic, dual-tube, mono-tube, and the like.
Alternatively, the elastic damper 5 includes an elastic member and a damper, wherein the damper is in a cylindrical shape, and the elastic member is fitted over the damper.
Based on the structure of the elastic shock absorber, the working principle can be as follows: when the wheel shakes, the relative motion between the frame 1 and the wheel occurs, and at the moment, the elastic element connected between the frame 1 and the wheel can play a role in buffering the shake through the motion in the vertical direction. However, this buffering can not end up energy consumption, and elastic element neglects easily, neglects rocking of right, hardly guarantees the stability that the car went, can restrain the shock that produces and absorb the energy that the road surface was strikeed when the elastic element shakes the bounce-back through the bumper shock absorber this moment, and then the inside passenger of vehicle just can not feel jolting. For example, when the vehicle is running over an uneven road surface, the elastic element can filter the vibration of the road surface, but the elastic element itself can also reciprocate, and the shock absorber plays a role in inhibiting the jumping of the elastic element.
Alternatively, the elastic member includes, but is not limited to, a coil spring, a torsion bar spring, a leaf spring, a rubber spring, a gas spring, and the like, and is not particularly limited thereto.
In a possible design, see fig. 2, the elastic shock absorber 5 is connected to the first arm 2 by a fifth bushing; the elastic damper 5 is connected to the body 11 through a sixth bushing.
The elastic shock absorber 5 is connected with the first arm body 2 through the fifth bushing, the elastic shock absorber 5 is connected with the body 11 through the sixth bushing, and the function of protecting the connection position of the elastic shock absorber 5 and the first arm body 2 and the connection position of the elastic shock absorber 5 and the body 11 can be achieved.
Alternatively, one end of the elastic damper 5 is connected to a first portion of a fifth bushing, and a second portion of the fifth bushing is connected to the first arm 2.
Optionally, one end of the elastic damper 5 is connected to the first portion of the fifth bushing by welding, and the second portion of the fifth bushing is connected to the first arm 2 by welding.
Alternatively, one end of the first arm 2 is connected to a first portion of a fifth bushing, the second portion of which is connected to the elastic damper 5.
Optionally, one end of the first arm 2 is connected to the first portion of the fifth bushing by welding, and the second portion of the fifth bushing is connected to the elastic damper 5 by welding.
In one possible design, the extension 12 includes a first extension 121 and a second extension 122, the first extension 121 is located on a first side of the body 11, and the second extension 122 is located on a second side of the body 11, the first side being opposite to the second side. That is, the first extension 121 and the second extension 122 are symmetrically disposed at both sides of the body 11.
Alternatively, the first side may be the direction of the head of the vehicle and the second side may be the direction of the tail of the vehicle.
So set up, be convenient for set up the suspension subassembly at one side of every wheel orientation frame. It will be appreciated that the provision of the first and second extensions 121, 122 may facilitate the routing of the suspension assemblies, as vehicles typically have four wheels, with each vehicle being provided with a suspension assembly on the side facing the frame.
