For example, when the terminal supports 4G or 5G networks at the same time, as many icons of the 5G networks are shown to the user as possible. Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The embodiments described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all embodiments consistent with the present disclosure. In an exemplary embodiment, a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions, such as the memory 304 comprising instructions, executable by the processor 320 of the apparatus 300 to perform the above-described method is also provided. the second type network is more advanced than the first type network.
11. The apparatus of claim 10,
the first type of network comprises a long term evolution network and the second type of network comprises a new air interface 5G network.
12. The apparatus of claim 7,
the connection of the terminal to the first type network comprises one of:
the terminal registers to the first type network;
the terminal switches to the first type network after network switching;
the time length of the terminal keeping the connection state with the first type network exceeds the preset time length.
13. A non-transitory computer readable storage medium having instructions therein, which when executed by a processor of a mobile terminal, enable the mobile terminal to perform a method of displaying network identification information, the method comprising:
determining whether the terminal has a possibility of connecting to a second type network when the terminal is connected to the first type network and not connected to the second type network; displaying identification information of a second type network when the terminal has a possibility of connecting to the second type network;
the terminal is a terminal supporting a multi-connection mechanism, and the network corresponding to the multi-connection mechanism comprises a first type network and a second type network.
