Description

Preparation method of high-strength high-toughness polystyrene film
Technical Field
The invention relates to a preparation method of a high-strength high-toughness polystyrene film.
Background
Polystyrene is prepared by free radical polymerization of styrene monomers, and lateral phenyl groups of the polystyrene are arranged in a random structure in space, so the polystyrene is an amorphous polymer and has high transparency. The side phenyl group of the polystyrene has larger volume and larger steric hindrance effect, so that the movement space of the molecular chain is limited, and the molecular chain of the polystyrene becomes rigid, thereby showing rigidity and brittleness, and the product is easy to generate internal stress. The polystyrene product generally has a low elongation at break of only about 3% during the stretching process, has no yield phenomenon, and shows a typical brittle fracture, thereby resulting in a limited range of use of the polystyrene product.
In order to increase the using place of polystyrene and prolong the service life of polystyrene in the using place, the method of modifying polystyrene and changing processing technology is generally adopted in the market to improve the performance of products, for example, physical blending or chemical blending is adopted to realize the improvement of the flame retardant, the electric conduction, the super-hydrophobic property and the like of the polystyrene, and the biaxial stretching process is adopted to improve the strength, the toughness and the like of the polystyrene, the method is adopted to greatly improve the performance of the polystyrene in all aspects, however, there are certain disadvantages, such as the need to add various materials during the modification, this results in an extremely complicated process and a part of the raw materials are extremely expensive, especially involving the use of equipment in the biaxial stretching process, which results in a great trouble in commercialization of the polystyrene-related products.
