Background
A Conditional Handover (CHO) mechanism, that is, when a channel between a UE (User Equipment or terminal) and a serving cell suddenly becomes poor (especially in a high-frequency and high-speed scenario), the UE cannot normally complete a handover process. and after receiving the notice that the configuration of the source cell is unavailable, the candidate target cell decides to update or not update the CHO configuration according to the received information. Optionally:
updating the CHO configuration: and sending the reconfigured configuration to the source cell.
Not updating the CHO configuration, optionally, the cell sends an indication that the target cell is not updated or is no longer a candidate target cell;
no operation is performed.
In the above embodiments of the present invention, since the source cell connection is not guaranteed, and the unavailable configuration is updated when the source cell connection is still available in the DAPS HO.
If the UE utilizes the DAPS HO or the dual connectivity capability, after satisfying the CHO execution condition or successfully accessing the target cell, the UE informs the source cell that the CHO has been executed through the source cell connection that is still available, and the message may include:
triggering CHO target cell related information;
information about cells in the CHO list;
and after receiving the executed CHO information transmitted by the UE through the still available source cell connection, the source base station forwards data to the target base station.
The embodiment of the invention helps the source base station to determine a more appropriate data forwarding time point, can reduce a large amount of waste of resources, can avoid longer interruption time, and can provide the time point for determining the target cell (avoid resource waste caused by all candidate cells, can also forward to a certain extent, reduce interruption time) or after successfully accessing the target cell (provide maximum reliability, avoid resource waste).
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the method for reporting information may further include:
receiving a notification message for connection reconstruction sent by a source cell;
or, receiving all configured conditional handover configurations sent by the source cell, or ignoring the conditional handover configuration corresponding to at least one candidate target cell, and continuing to detect an available conditional handover candidate cell; or receiving a notification message of the update message of the target cell sent by the source cell.
Optionally, the information reporting method further includes:
if the terminal meets the condition switching execution condition or is successfully accessed into the target cell, sending a notification message to the source cell through the source cell connection, wherein the notification message comprises at least one of the following:
information related to the target cell that triggered the conditional handover;
information about the cells in the conditional handover list.
In the above embodiment of the present invention, the cell related information includes at least one of the following:
cell ID (e.g., at least one of PCI, GCI, ARFCN, and cell index);
cell quality (e.g., at least one of RSRP, RSRQ, SINR);
UE measures ID of beam of the cell: SSB or CSI-RS;
quality of the beam: quality of the SSB or CSI-RS (e.g., at least one of RSRP, RSRQ, SINR);
identification of whether a cell is in the CHO list.
The CHO configuration described above may include: CHO executes conditional Ax events (e.g., A3 or a5 events);
and the CHO configuration given by the candidate target cell, such as random access resources and the like. The situation where the configuration is not available includes, but is not limited to, exceeding the terminal capability, such as the number of times the terminal cannot recognize the partial RACH (random access) resource, the bandwidth location where the terminal does not support the RO configuration, or the BWP (bandwidth partial) of the candidate target cell configuration exceeds the terminal capability.
The terminal records the cell quality, beam quality and other relevant information of the candidate target cell and the adjacent cell measured during condition switching and reports the information to the network. The recorded or reported quality and other related information can help the network side to configure a reasonable cell list for conditional handover and related optimization of events, parameters and the like for triggering the conditional handover. For example, the recorded optimal cell which is not in the CHO list is allocated to the user at the time of initial configuration, thereby effectively avoiding fast handover and handover failure.
The different effects of binding of DAPS HO and CHO are further illustrated, in particular: in CHO, UE measurement results meet CHO execution conditions and then switch automatically, and informs a source cell of a target cell through DAPS/dual-connection available source connection, and the source cell can select time for starting data forwarding according to the information. And unavailable CHO configurations can be updated with better quality source connections.
The following describes a specific implementation process of the above method with reference to a specific embodiment:
example 1: when the UE performs switching, the configuration of the candidate cell which is not a target is found to exceed the capability of the UE;
when UE executes switching, the CHO configuration given by some non-target candidate target cell in RRC reconfiguration signaling given by a source cell is found to exceed the capability of the UE;
the UE continues to execute the switching, and sends information to the source cell through the original connection which is still available, and informs that certain configuration given by a certain candidate target cell exceeds the capability of the UE;
after receiving an unavailable indication given by the UE, the source cell sends information to a candidate target cell with a problem and tells the candidate target cell which specific configuration exceeds the capability of the UE;
after receiving the message of the source cell, the candidate target cell gives the CHO configuration conforming to the UE capability again and returns the CHO configuration to the source cell;
the source cell transmits the received configuration of the candidate target cell to the UE;
the UE stores all available CHO configurations.
Example 2: when UE executes switching, the candidate cell configuration of a target is found to exceed the capability of the UE;
when UE executes switching, the CHO configuration given by the target cell exceeds the capability of the UE in the RRC reconfiguration signaling given by the source cell;
the UE stops executing the switching, and sends information to the source cell through the original connection which is still available, and informs that certain configurations given by the target cell exceed the capability of the UE;
after receiving an unavailable indication given by the UE, the source cell sends information to the target cell to tell the target cell which specific configuration exceeds the capability of the UE;
after receiving the message of the source cell, the target cell gives the CHO configuration conforming to the UE capability again and returns the CHO configuration to the source cell;
the source cell transmits the received configuration of the target cell to the UE;
the UE stores all available CHO configurations, continuously monitors the CHO triggering conditions of each candidate target cell, and executes subsequent processes.
Example 3: when the switching is not triggered, the UE informs a source cell that the configuration of a certain candidate target cell in the multi-candidate target cell is unavailable;
when the switching is not triggered, the UE finds that the CHO configuration given by a certain candidate target cell is unavailable in the RRC reconfiguration signaling given by the source cell;
UE sends information to source cell to inform some candidate target cell that CHO configuration is not available;
after receiving an unavailable instruction given by UE, a source cell sends information to a candidate target cell with a problem and tells that the configuration is unavailable;
after receiving the message of the source cell, the candidate target cell gives CHO configuration for the UE again and returns the CHO configuration to the source cell;
the source cell transmits the received configuration of the candidate target cell to the UE;
the UE stores all available CHO configurations and continuously monitors the CHO trigger conditions for each candidate target cell.
Example 4: when the switching is not triggered, the UE informs the source cell that the configuration of a certain candidate target cell in the multi-candidate target cell is unavailable
When the switching is not triggered, the UE finds that the CHO configuration given by a certain candidate target cell is unavailable in the RRC reconfiguration signaling given by the source cell;
UE sends information to source cell to inform some candidate target cell that CHO configuration is not available;
after receiving an unavailable instruction given by UE, a source cell sends information to a candidate target cell with a problem and tells that the configuration is unavailable;
after receiving the message of the source cell, the candidate target cell decides not to do the CHO candidate target cell and does not reply;
after the source cell does not receive the reply of the candidate target cell for a certain time, the source cell orders the UE to release the CHO configuration of the candidate target cell;
and the UE releases the unavailable CHO configuration of the candidate target cell after receiving the command and continuously monitors the CHO triggering conditions of other candidate target cells.
Example 5: CHO configuration unavailability of all candidate cells received by the UE
When the switching is not triggered, the UE finds that the CHO configuration of partial candidate cells in RRC reconfiguration signaling given by the source cell is unavailable;
UE starts a timer and continuously receives the reconfiguration message given by the source cell;
after the timer expires, no new CHO configuration is received, which is available, the UE triggers a re-establishment.
Example 6: UE finds out that the received CHO configuration of the target cell is unavailable when triggering handover
UE finds that the CHO configuration of the target cell in the RRC reconfiguration signaling given by the source cell is unavailable;
the UE triggers the re-establishment.
In the above embodiment of the present invention, the terminal records the cell quality, beam quality, and other relevant information of the candidate target cell and the neighboring cell measured during the condition switching, and reports the information to the network. The recorded or reported quality and other related information can help the network side to configure a reasonable cell list for conditional handover and related optimization of events, parameters and the like for triggering the conditional handover. The method avoids the waste of a large amount of resources and the long interruption time caused by the forwarding of delay data after the target cell is successfully accessed.
As shown in fig. 3, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a method for receiving information, which is applied to a network device, and the method includes:
step 31, receiving condition switching related information reported by the terminal, where the condition switching related information is measured by the terminal when performing condition switching, and the condition switching related information includes: information of candidate target cells and/or non-candidate target cells.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, if the terminal performs conditional handover by using a dual active protocol stack or dual connectivity, receiving conditional handover related information reported by the terminal includes:

In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the method for receiving information may further include: after the source cell sends the notice to the candidate target cell, a timer is started, when the timing duration of the timer is overtime, if the reply of the candidate target cell is not received, the candidate target cell which is not replied is deleted from the candidate list, or the reconfiguration request with preset times is resent, if the times of the reconfiguration request exceed a preset value, the candidate target cell which is not replied is deleted from the candidate list. The preset value here may be a value greater than or equal to 0.
In an optional embodiment of the present invention, the method for receiving information may further include: and after receiving the notice that the configuration sent by the source cell is unavailable, the candidate target cell updates or does not update the conditional switching configuration.

sending a notification message for ignoring all configured conditional handover relevant information or ignoring conditional handover relevant information corresponding to at least one candidate target cell to a terminal; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
reconfiguring the relevant information of the conditional switch according to the received checking result, if the unavailable configuration is known to be configured in the source cell, automatically updating the relevant information of the conditional switch, and sending the updated relevant information of the conditional switch to the terminal;
and if the unavailable configuration is known to be the conditional switching related information given by the candidate target cell, informing the candidate target cell that the configuration is unavailable.
Optionally, after the source cell sends the notification to the candidate target cell, a timer is started, and when the timing duration of the timer expires, if the reply of the candidate target cell is not received, the candidate target cell that has not replied is deleted from the candidate list, or a reconfiguration request for a preset number of times is resent, and if the number of times of the reconfiguration request exceeds a preset value, the candidate target cell that has not replied is deleted from the candidate list.

information related to the target cell that triggered the conditional handover;
information about the cells in the conditional handover list.
Optionally, after receiving the executed conditional handover information transmitted by the terminal through the source cell connection, the source cell performs a data forwarding procedure to the target cell.
It should be noted that the terminal is a terminal corresponding to the method shown in fig. 3, and all implementation manners in the method embodiment are applicable to the embodiment of the terminal, and the same technical effect can be achieved. The terminal may further include: a processor, a memory; the transceiver and the processor, and the transceiver and the memory can be connected through a bus interface, the functions of the transceiver can be realized by the processor, and the functions of the processor can also be realized by the transceiver.
An embodiment of the present invention further provides a communication device, including: a processor, a memory storing a computer program which, when executed by the processor, performs the method as described above with reference to fig. 2 or fig. 3.
Embodiments of the present invention also provide a computer-readable storage medium including instructions that, when executed on a computer, cause the computer to perform the method described above with respect to fig. 2 or fig. 3.
Those of ordinary skill in the art will appreciate that the various illustrative elements and algorithm steps described in connection with the embodiments disclosed herein may be implemented as electronic hardware or combinations of computer software and electronic hardware. Whether such functionality is implemented as hardware or software depends upon the particular application and design constraints imposed on the implementation. Skilled artisans may implement the described functionality in varying ways for each particular application, but such implementation decisions should not be interpreted as causing a departure from the scope of the present invention.

That is, such a program product also constitutes the present invention, and a storage medium storing such a program product also constitutes the present invention. It is to be understood that the storage medium may be any known storage medium or any storage medium developed in the future. It is further noted that in the apparatus and method of the present invention, it is apparent that each component or step can be decomposed and/or recombined. These decompositions and/or recombinations are to be regarded as equivalents of the present invention. Also, the steps of executing the series of processes described above may naturally be executed chronologically in the order described, but need not necessarily be executed chronologically. Some steps may be performed in parallel or independently of each other.
While the foregoing is directed to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims.

Claims (29)

1. A method for reporting information is applied to a terminal, and the method comprises the following steps:
recording condition switching related information measured when a terminal performs condition switching, wherein the condition switching related information comprises: information of candidate target cells and/or non-candidate target cells;
and reporting the relevant information of the condition switching to network equipment.
2. The method for reporting information as claimed in claim 1, wherein the information related to conditional handover further includes at least one of the following:
information related to the target cell that triggered the conditional handover;
information relating to non-candidate cells of a target cell of better quality than the conditional handover;
information about cells in the conditional handover list;
a corresponding handover event of a conditional handover candidate target cell and a threshold involved in the handover event.
3. The method according to claim 1, wherein reporting the information related to the conditional handover to a network device comprises:
when the terminal is in a connection state, reporting the relevant information of the condition switching to network equipment; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
the terminal reports the relevant information of the condition switching to the network equipment in the process of converting the non-connection state into the connection state; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
and when the terminal is in an idle state or a non-activated state, reporting the relevant information of the condition switching to the network equipment.
4. The method according to claim 1, wherein reporting the information related to the conditional handover to a network device comprises:
and reporting the relevant information of the condition switching to network equipment through a wireless connection failure report or a predefined message.
5. The method according to claim 1, wherein reporting the information related to the conditional handover to a network device comprises:
reporting the relevant information of the condition switching to the network equipment according to the request of the network equipment; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
the terminal actively reports the relevant information of the condition switching to network equipment; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
and after the terminal reports the recorded information of the network equipment, reporting the recorded related information of the condition switching to the network equipment according to the request of the network equipment.
6. The method according to claim 1, wherein if the terminal performs conditional handover by using a dual active protocol stack or dual connectivity, reporting the information related to the conditional handover to a network device comprises:
and reporting the relevant information of the conditional switch to the source cell through the connection of the source cell.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein reporting the information related to the conditional handover to a source cell through a source cell connection comprises:
and through the connection of the source cell, carrying the relevant information of the condition switching in a feedback message of a Radio Resource Control (RRC) reconfiguration message or a predefined message, and reporting the information to the source cell.
8. The method according to claim 1, wherein if the terminal performs conditional handover by using a dual active protocol stack or dual connectivity, recording conditional handover related information measured when the terminal performs conditional handover, including:
the terminal checks the availability of the conditional switch related information configured for the terminal by the source cell, and if the configuration in the conditional switch related information is unavailable and the conditional switch execution is not triggered or the conditional switch execution is triggered, but any unavailable configuration in the conditional switch related information does not belong to the configuration of the target cell, the checking result is recorded.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein reporting the information related to the conditional handover to a source cell comprises:
reporting a checking result to a source cell, wherein the checking result comprises at least one of the following items:
a configuration indicated by 1bit is not available;
the configuration of the at least one candidate target cell indicated by the multi-bit information is not available or applicable;
at least one configuration of the at least one candidate target cell indicated by the multi-bit information is not available or applicable.
10. The method of claim 8, wherein the configuration in the related information of conditional handover is not available and when the conditional handover is triggered to be executed, if the configuration of the target cell in the related information of conditional handover is not available, the terminal executes the connection re-establishment procedure by itself.
11. The method of claim 9, wherein reporting the check result to the source cell includes:
the configuration of the target cell in the relevant information of the conditional switch is not available and the execution of the conditional switch is triggered, and the terminal stops the execution of the conditional switch and informs the source cell that the configuration in the relevant information of the conditional switch is not available through the source connection with the source cell.
12. The method of claim 11, wherein the notifying the source cell that the configuration in the information related to conditional handover is unavailable comprises at least one of:
informing the source cell through 1-bit information that the configuration in the conditional handover related information is unavailable;
informing the source cell through multi-bit information, wherein the conditional switching configuration of the target cell in the conditional switching related information is unavailable or applicable;
and informing the source cell by multi-bit information that at least one item of configuration of the target cell in the conditional handover related information is unavailable or applicable.
13. The method for reporting information according to claim 12, further comprising:
receiving a notification message for connection reconstruction sent by a source cell;
alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
receiving all configured conditional handover configurations sent by a source cell, or ignoring the conditional handover configuration corresponding to at least one candidate target cell, and continuously detecting available conditional handover candidate cells;
alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
and receiving a notification message of the update message of the target cell sent by the source cell.
14. The method for reporting information according to claim 6, further comprising:
if the terminal meets the condition switching execution condition or is successfully accessed into the target cell, sending a notification message to the source cell through the source cell connection, wherein the notification message comprises at least one of the following:
information related to the target cell that triggered the conditional handover;
information about the cells in the conditional handover list.
15. A method for receiving information, which is applied to a network device, the method comprising:
receiving condition switching related information reported by a terminal, wherein the condition switching related information is measured by the terminal when the terminal performs condition switching, and the condition switching related information comprises: information of candidate target cells and/or non-candidate target cells.
16. The method for receiving information according to claim 15, wherein if the terminal performs conditional handover by using a dual active protocol stack or dual connectivity, receiving information related to conditional handover reported by the terminal includes:
and the source cell receives a checking result reported by the terminal, wherein the checking result is that the terminal checks the availability of the condition switching related information configured for the terminal by the source cell, and if the configuration in the condition switching related information is unavailable and the condition switching execution is not triggered or the condition switching execution is triggered, but any unavailable configuration in the condition switching configuration does not belong to the configuration of the target cell, the checking result is recorded.
17. The method of receiving information according to claim 16, wherein after receiving the check result reported by the terminal, the method further comprises:
the source cell sends a notification message for connection reestablishment to the terminal; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
the source cell sends a notification message for ignoring all configured conditional switching related information or ignoring conditional switching related information corresponding to at least one candidate target cell to the terminal; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
the source cell reconfigures the relevant information of the condition switching according to the received checking result, if the configuration which cannot be used is known as the configuration of the source cell, the relevant information of the condition switching is automatically updated, and the updated relevant information of the condition switching is sent to the terminal;
and if the unavailable configuration is known to be the conditional switching related information given by the candidate target cell, informing the candidate target cell that the configuration is unavailable.
18. The method for receiving information according to claim 17, further comprising:
after the source cell sends the notice to the candidate target cell, a timer is started, when the timing duration of the timer is overtime, if the reply of the candidate target cell is not received, the candidate target cell which is not replied is deleted from the candidate list, or the reconfiguration request with preset times is resent, if the times of the reconfiguration request exceed a preset value, the candidate target cell which is not replied is deleted from the candidate list.
19. The method for receiving information according to claim 18, further comprising:
and after receiving the notice that the configuration sent by the source cell is unavailable, the candidate target cell updates or does not update the conditional switching configuration.
20. The method for receiving information according to claim 19, further comprising:
the candidate target cell updates the condition switching related information and sends the reconfigured condition switching related information to the source cell; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
the candidate target cell does not update the condition switching related information and sends indication information which is not updated or does not do the candidate target cell to the source cell; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
no operation is performed.
21. The method for receiving information according to claim 20, further comprising:
and if the source cell receives the update information of the candidate target cell, the update information is sent to the terminal through a Radio Resource Control (RRC) reconfiguration message.
22. The method for receiving information according to claim 15, further comprising:
a source cell receives a notification message sent by a terminal through source cell connection, wherein the notification message is sent by the terminal after meeting a condition switching execution condition or after successfully accessing a target cell, and the notification message comprises:
information related to the target cell that triggered the conditional handover; alternatively, the first and second electrodes may be,
information about the cells in the conditional handover list.
23. The method for receiving information according to claim 22, further comprising:
and after receiving the executed condition switching information transmitted by the terminal through the connection of the source cell, the source cell carries out a data forwarding process to the target cell.
24. An information reporting device, applied to a terminal, the device comprising:
a recording module, configured to record relevant information of condition switching measured when a terminal performs condition switching, where the relevant information of condition switching includes: information of candidate target cells and/or non-candidate target cells;
and the transceiver module is used for reporting the relevant information of the condition switching to the network equipment.
25. A terminal, comprising:
a processor, configured to record conditional handover related information measured when a terminal performs conditional handover, where the conditional handover related information includes: information of candidate target cells and/or non-candidate target cells;
and the transceiver is used for receiving and reporting the relevant information of the condition switching to the network equipment.
26. An apparatus for receiving information, applied to a network device, the apparatus comprising:
a transceiver module, configured to receive conditional handover related information reported by a terminal, where the conditional handover related information is conditional handover related information measured by the terminal when performing conditional handover, and the conditional handover related information includes: information of candidate target cells and/or non-candidate target cells.
27. A network device, comprising:
a transceiver, configured to receive conditional handover related information reported by a terminal, where the conditional handover related information is conditional handover related information measured by the terminal when performing conditional handover, and the conditional handover related information includes: information of candidate target cells and/or non-candidate target cells.
28. A communication device, comprising: a processor, a memory storing a computer program which, when executed by the processor, performs the method of any of claims 1 to 14 or 15 to 23.
29. A computer-readable storage medium comprising instructions which, when executed on a computer, cause the computer to perform the method of any one of claims 1 to 14 or 16 to 23.
