The driving chip 30 is disposed on the flexible circuit board 20. The side 213 of the bonded end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 near the bent portion 11 is aligned with the boundary between the bent portion 11 and the protruding end 13, corresponding to the thickness direction of the protruding end 13 (parallel to the direction Z). The flexible circuit board 20 and the driving chip 30 may be integrated together, i.e. a Chip On Film (COF) to further reduce the frame. The projection of bonding end 21 of flexible circuit board 20 on protruding end 13 may be rectangular.
Optionally, on the basis of the above embodiment, with reference to fig. 1 to 10, the display module further includes: an anisotropic conductive paste 50.
Wherein the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 is located between the bonding end 21 and the protruding end 13 of the flexible circuit board 20, and/or the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 is located between the driving chip 30 and the protruding end 13.
After thermocompression bonding, the Anisotropic Conductive Film 50 (ACF) has conductivity in the Film thickness direction and insulation in the Film surface direction. A pad (not shown) at the bottom of the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 can be electrically connected to a pad (not shown) on the protruding end 13 by an anisotropic conductive adhesive. The bonding pads (not shown) on the bottom of the driving chip 30 can be electrically connected to the bonding pads (not shown) on the protruding ends 13 by anisotropic conductive adhesive.
Optionally, the anisotropic conductive paste 50 covers part or all of the bent portion 11 and part or all of the protruding end 13. The anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 covers the bent portion 11, soft adhesive does not need to be adhered to the bent portion, the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 adhered to the bent portion 11 can relieve the bending stress of the bent portion 11, the whole area of the extending end of the screen body becomes a whole with better stiffness, and the screen body cannot be easily deformed due to the influence of external force in the manufacturing process. The anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 adhered to the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 may extend to the bent portion 11. The anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 bonded to the driving chip 30 may extend to the bent portion 11.
Optionally, the contour of the projection of the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 on the display panel 10 coincides with the contour of the whole body formed by the bent portion 11 and the protruding end 13, that is, the contour of the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 is consistent with the contour of the whole body formed by the bent portion 11 and the protruding end 13, so that the whole area of the protruding end of the screen body becomes a whole body with better stiffness, and the screen body cannot be easily deformed due to the influence of an external force in the manufacturing process.
The bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 and the driving chip 30 may be bonded to the protruding end 13 by the same anisotropic conductive adhesive 50. Along the thickness direction (parallel to the direction Z) of the protruding end 13, two sides (i.e., the side 51 and the side 52) of the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 extending along the direction away from the non-bending portion 12 (parallel to the direction X) are aligned with two sides (i.e., the side 131 and the side 132) of the protruding end 13 extending along the direction away from the non-bending portion 12 (parallel to the direction X); along the thickness direction of the bent portion 11, two sides (i.e., the side 51 and the side 52) of the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 extending along the direction away from the non-bent portion 12 (parallel to the direction X) are aligned with two sides (i.e., the side 111 and the side 112) of the bent portion 11 extending along the direction away from the non-bent portion 12 (parallel to the direction X); in the thickness direction of the bent portion 11, the side 53 of the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 near the non-bent portion 12 is aligned with the boundary between the non-bent portion 12 and the bent portion 11; along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13, the side 54 of the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 away from the non-bent portion 12 is aligned with the side 133 of the protruding end 13 away from the bent portion 11.
The bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 and the driving chip 30 may be bonded to the protruding end 13 by two pieces of anisotropic conductive paste 50. The bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 can be bonded to the protruding end 13 by a piece of anisotropic conductive adhesive 50; the driving chip 30 may be bonded to the protruding end 13 by another piece of anisotropic conductive adhesive 50. Optionally, along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13, two sides of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block corresponding to the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 extending along the direction away from the non-bending portion 12 are aligned with two sides of the protruding end 13 extending along the direction away from the bending portion 11. Optionally, along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13, the side of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block away from the non-bending portion 12 corresponding to the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 is aligned with the side of the protruding end 13 away from the bending portion 11. Optionally, along the thickness direction of the extending end 13, two sides of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block corresponding to the driving chip 30 extending along the direction away from the non-bending portion 12 are aligned with two sides of the extending end 13 extending along the direction away from the bending portion 11. Optionally, the side of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block corresponding to the driving chip 30 near the non-bending part 12 is aligned with the boundary between the non-bending part 12 and the bending part 11 along the thickness direction of the bending part 11.
The embodiment of the invention provides another display module. Fig. 11 is a schematic structural diagram of another display module according to an embodiment of the disclosure. Fig. 12 is a schematic top view illustrating a display module according to another embodiment of the present invention. On the basis of the above embodiment, the display module includes: a display panel 10, a flexible circuit board 20, and a driving chip 30.
The display panel 10 includes a bending portion 11, and a non-bending portion 12 and a protruding end 13 located at two opposite sides of the bending portion 11.
The bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 is bonded to the first surface of the protruding end 13.
As shown in fig. 11 and 12, the driving chip 30 is bonded to the same surface of the protruding end 13 as the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20; the arrangement direction of the driving chip 30 and the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 is perpendicular to the arrangement direction of the bending part 11 and the protruding end 13 (parallel to the direction Y); along the thickness direction (parallel to the direction Z) of the protruding end 13, a side (i.e., the side 31) of the driving chip 30 away from the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 is aligned with a side (i.e., the side 131) of the protruding end 13 extending along the direction (parallel to the direction X) away from the bending portion 11; one side (i.e., the side 212) of the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 away from the driving chip 30 is aligned with the other side (i.e., the side 132) of the protruding end 13 extending in a direction away from the bending portion 11 (parallel to the direction X). The shape of the whole body formed by the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 and the driving chip 30 is consistent with that of the extending end 13, so that the whole area of the extending end of the screen body becomes a whole body with better stiffness, the whole body cannot be easily deformed due to the influence of external force in the manufacturing process, and the problems of breakage of wires in the extending end area, breakage and damage of the flexible circuit board and the driving chip, bonding, falling, failure and the like of the flexible circuit board and the driving chip in the manufacturing process can be effectively prevented. The direction X may be perpendicular to the direction Y. The direction X may be perpendicular to the direction Z. The direction Y may be perpendicular to the direction Z.
Optionally, in the arrangement direction (parallel to the direction Y) of the driving chip 30 and the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20, the side 33 of the driving chip 30 close to the bent portion 11 is aligned with the side 213 of the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 close to the bent portion 11. Alternatively, along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13 (parallel to the direction Z), the side 33 of the driving chip 30 near the bent portion 11 is aligned with the boundary line between the bent portion 11 and the protruding end 13. Alternatively, in the thickness direction (parallel to the direction Z) of the protruding end 13, the side 213 of the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 near the bent portion 11 is aligned with the boundary between the bent portion 11 and the protruding end 13.
Alternatively, along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13 (parallel to the direction Z), the side 34 of the driving chip 30 away from the bending part 11 is aligned with the side 133 of the protruding end 13 away from the bending part 11.
Optionally, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, fig. 13 is a schematic structural diagram of another display module provided in the embodiment of the present invention, fig. 14 is a schematic structural diagram of a top view of another display module provided in the embodiment of the present invention, fig. 15 is a schematic structural cross-sectional diagram of a display module provided in the embodiment of the present invention, and the display module further includes: and (6) reinforcing 40.
Wherein the reinforcement 40 is located on the side of the flexible circuit board 20 and the driving chip 30 away from the protruding end 13; the first end of the reinforcement 40 is adhered to the top surface of the driving chip 30 away from the protruding end 13; a second end of the reinforcement 40 is attached to a top surface of the flexible circuit board 20 remote from the protruding end 13.
Fig. 15 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the display module along the direction A1a2 in fig. 13.
Alternatively, on the basis of the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 13 to fig. 15, along the thickness direction (parallel to the direction Z) of the protruding end 13, the side 43 of the reinforcement 40 close to the bending portion 11 is aligned with the side 213 of the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 close to the bending portion 11, and the side 43 of the reinforcement 40 close to the bending portion 11 is aligned with the side 33 of the driving chip 30 close to the bending portion 11; the side 44 of the reinforcement 40 away from the bending part 11 is aligned with the side 34 of the driving chip 30 away from the bending part 11, so that the shape of the reinforcement 40 is consistent with the shape of the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 and the driving chip 30, and the whole area of the extending end of the screen body becomes a whole with better stiffness and is not easily deformed due to the influence of external force in the manufacturing process.
Alternatively, on the basis of the above embodiment, with continued reference to fig. 13, the top surface of the driver chip 30 away from the protruding end 13 is flush with the top surface of the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 away from the protruding end 13.
Alternatively, on the basis of the above embodiment, with continued reference to fig. 15, the top surface 301 of the driving chip 30 away from the protruding end 13 is stepped, and the end of the top surface 301 of the driving chip 30 away from the protruding end 13 away from the flexible circuit board 20 is higher than the end of the top surface 301 of the driving chip 30 away from the protruding end 13 close to the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20.
The end of the top surface 301 of the driving chip 30 away from the protruding end 13 close to the flexible circuit board 20 is flush with the end of the top surface 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 away from the protruding end 13 close to the driving chip 30. The first end of the reinforcement 40 is adhered to one end of the top surface 301 of the driving chip 30 close to the flexible circuit board 20; the second end of the reinforcement 40 is adhered to one end of the top surface of the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 close to the driving chip 30.
Optionally, on the basis of the above embodiment, with reference to fig. 11 to fig. 15, the display module further includes: an anisotropic conductive paste 50.
The anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 is located between the bonding end 21 and the extending end 13 of the flexible circuit board 20, and the anisotropic conductive adhesive 50 is located between the driving chip 30 and the extending end 13.
Alternatively, on the basis of the above embodiment, with continuing reference to fig. 11 to fig. 15, the anisotropic conductive paste 50 covers part or all of the bent portion 11 and part or all of the protruding end 13.
Alternatively, on the basis of the above embodiment, with continuing reference to fig. 11 to fig. 15, the contour of the projection of the anisotropic conductive paste 50 on the display panel 10 coincides with the contour of the whole formed by the bent portion 11 and the protruding end 13.
The bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 and the driving chip 30 may be bonded to the protruding end 13 by the same anisotropic conductive adhesive 50.
The bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 and the driving chip 30 may be bonded to the protruding end 13 by two pieces of anisotropic conductive paste 50. The bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 can be bonded to the protruding end 13 by a piece of anisotropic conductive adhesive 50; the driving chip 30 may be bonded to the protruding end 13 by another piece of anisotropic conductive adhesive 50. Optionally, along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13, a side of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block away from the driving chip 30 corresponding to the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 is aligned with a side of the protruding end 13 extending along a direction away from the bending portion 11. Optionally, along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13, a side of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block corresponding to the driving chip 30 away from the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 is aligned with another side of the protruding end 13 extending along the direction away from the bending portion 11. Optionally, along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13, the side of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block away from the non-bending portion 12 corresponding to the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 is aligned with the side of the protruding end 13 away from the bending portion 11. Optionally, along the thickness direction of the protruding end 13, the side of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block corresponding to the driving chip 30 away from the non-bending portion 12 is aligned with the side of the protruding end 13 away from the bending portion 11. Optionally, in the thickness direction of the bent portion 11, a side of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block corresponding to the bonding end 21 of the flexible circuit board 20 near the non-bent portion 12 is aligned with a boundary between the non-bent portion 12 and the bent portion 11. Optionally, the side of the anisotropic conductive adhesive block corresponding to the driving chip 30 near the non-bending part 12 is aligned with the boundary between the non-bending part 12 and the bending part 11 along the thickness direction of the bending part 11.
It is to be noted that the foregoing is only illustrative of the preferred embodiments of the present invention and the technical principles employed. Claims (9)
1. A display module, comprising:
the display panel comprises a bending part, and a non-bending part and an extending end which are positioned at two opposite sides of the bending part;
the bonding end of the flexible circuit board is bonded on the first surface of the extending end; along the thickness direction of the extending end, two sides of the bonding end of the flexible circuit board, which extend along the direction away from the bending part, are respectively aligned with two sides of the extending end, which extend along the direction away from the bending part;
the driving chip and the bonding end of the flexible circuit board are bonded on the same surface of the extending end; the driving chip is positioned between the bonding end of the flexible circuit board and the bending part; along the thickness direction of the extending end, two side edges of the driving chip extending along the direction far away from the bending part and two side edges of the extending end extending along the direction far away from the bending part are respectively aligned, and the side edge of the driving chip close to the bending part is aligned with the boundary of the bending part and the extending end.
2. The display module assembly of claim 1, wherein the display module assembly further comprises: reinforcing, wherein the reinforcing is positioned on one sides of the flexible circuit board and the driving chip far away from the extending end; the reinforced first end is bonded to the top surface of the driving chip far away from the extending end; the reinforced second end is bonded to the top surface of the flexible circuit board far away from the extending end.
3. The display module of claim 2, wherein the reinforcement comprises at least one of: polyethylene terephthalate, polyimide, and metal.
4. The display module according to claim 2, wherein two sides of the reinforcement extending in a direction away from the bending portion are aligned with two sides of the bonding end of the flexible circuit board extending in a direction away from the bending portion in a thickness direction of the protruding end; two side edges of the reinforcement extending along the direction far away from the bending part are respectively aligned with two side edges of the driving chip extending along the direction far away from the bending part;
the top surface of the driving chip, which is far away from the extending end, is step-shaped, and one end, which is far away from the flexible circuit board, of the top surface of the driving chip, which is far away from the extending end, is higher than one end, which is close to the flexible circuit board, of the top surface of the driving chip, which is far away from the extending end;
one end, close to the flexible circuit board, of the top surface, far away from the extending end, of the driving chip is flush with one end, close to the driving chip, of the top surface, far away from the extending end, of the bonding end of the flexible circuit board; the first end of the reinforcement is bonded to one end, close to the flexible circuit board, of the top surface of the driving chip; the second end of the reinforcement is bonded at one end, close to the driving chip, of the top surface of the bonding end of the flexible circuit board.
5. The display module assembly of claim 1, wherein the display module assembly further comprises: the driving chip is arranged on the flexible circuit board; and the outline of the projection of the bonding end of the flexible circuit board on the display panel is superposed with the outline of the extending end.
6. The display module according to any one of claims 1-5, wherein the display module further comprises: the anisotropic conductive adhesive is positioned between a bonding end and an extending end of the flexible circuit board, and/or the anisotropic conductive adhesive is positioned between the driving chip and the extending end; the anisotropic conductive adhesive covers part or all of the bending part and part or all of the extending end;
the contour of the projection of the anisotropic conductive adhesive on the display panel is superposed with the contour of the whole formed by the bending part and the extending end.
7. A display module, comprising:
the display panel comprises a bending part, and a non-bending part and an extending end which are positioned at two opposite sides of the bending part;
the bonding end of the flexible circuit board is bonded on the first surface of the extending end;
the driving chip and the bonding end of the flexible circuit board are bonded on the same surface of the extending end; the arrangement direction of the driving chip and the bonding end of the flexible circuit board is perpendicular to the arrangement direction of the bent part and the extending end; along the thickness direction of the extending end, the side edge, far away from the bonding end of the flexible circuit board, of the driving chip is aligned with the side edge, far away from the bending part, of the extending end, and extending along the direction far away from the bending part; and one side of the bonding end of the flexible circuit board, which is far away from the driving chip, is aligned with the other side of the extending end, which extends along the direction far away from the bending part.
8. The display module assembly of claim 7, wherein the display module assembly further comprises: reinforcing, wherein the reinforcing is positioned on one sides of the flexible circuit board and the driving chip far away from the extending end; the reinforced first end is bonded to the top surface of the driving chip far away from the extending end; and the reinforced second end is bonded on the top surface of the flexible circuit board far away from the extending end.
9. The display module according to claim 7 or 8, wherein the display module further comprises: the anisotropic conductive adhesive is positioned between the bonding end and the extending end of the flexible circuit board, and the anisotropic conductive adhesive is positioned between the driving chip and the extending end; the anisotropic conductive adhesive covers part or all of the bending part and part or all of the extending end; the contour of the projection of the anisotropic conductive adhesive on the display panel is superposed with the contour of the whole formed by the bending part and the extending end.
