9. A French window rail assembly as claimed in claim 5 or 8, wherein a post is attached to a central portion of the top surface of the horizontal plate, the post having an external thread formed on an upper end thereof.
10. The french window track assembly of claim 9 wherein the connector is disposed between the two moving mechanisms and is attached to the top plate and removably connected to the slider.
