Abstract

本申请提供一种用户设备UE能力上报方法及装置,用于提高UE回退配置到CA模式的成功率,提高UE的传输带宽。UE可以根据接收到的第一能力查询请求信息、第二能力查询请求信息和多***请求条件,上报在第一RAT下支持的第二频段组合和在第一RAT与第二RAT下支持的第二多***频段组合,其中,第二多***频段组合用于配置UE到第一RAT与第二RAT的多***多连接模式,第二多***频段组合满足多***请求条件,本申请方法中,UE在上报第二频段组合的过程中,通过优先上报满足该多***请求条件的第一CA频段组合,有利于提高上报第二多***频段组合在第一RAT的CA频段组合的可能性,从而有利于提高UE由多***多连接模式回退配置到CA模式的可能性。
