Abstract
The application provides a display panel pixel design method and device, the display panel pixel design method and device is applied to an EDA tool, the EDA tool comprises a data processing program and a comparison program, the display panel pixel design method firstly obtains initial data corresponding to a plurality of pixel designs, then the initial data are processed by the data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel designs, then the comparison program is used for comparing the reference data to obtain comparison results, and then the pixel design of a display panel is determined according to the comparison results. The method comprises the steps that a data processing program and a comparison program are set in an EDA tool, so that data are processed and compared through the data processing program and the comparison program in the pixel design process, and therefore the pixel design meeting requirements is determined; need not to adopt artifical processing and arrangement data, provided the efficiency of pixel design, and reduced the risk that artifical processing brought the deviation.
Description
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of display technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for displaying a panel pixel.
Background
During the pixel design process of the display panel, the pixel design needs to be evaluated to select a design meeting the requirements. In the conventional evaluation process of pixel Design, resistance data of each electrode in a pixel and capacitance data between different electrodes are extracted by using an Electronic Design Automation (EDA), and then the data are manually processed to obtain a resistance value and a capacitance value which can be processed; and finally, manually inputting the resistance, the capacitance and charging related indexes (such as charging rate and charging rate difference at different positions) processed by each pixel into a table for comparison, thereby selecting a pixel design meeting the requirement. As can be seen from the evaluation process of the existing pixel design, manual operation is required in each process, resulting in reduced efficiency and deviation.
Therefore, manual operation is required in the existing pixel design process, which leads to the technical problem of low efficiency.
Disclosure of Invention
The embodiment of the application provides a display panel pixel design method and device, which are used for solving the technical problem of low efficiency caused by manual operation in the existing pixel design process.
The embodiment of the application provides a display panel pixel design method, which comprises the following steps:
acquiring initial data corresponding to a plurality of pixel designs;
processing the initial data by using the data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design;
comparing the reference data by using the comparison program to obtain a comparison result;
and determining the pixel design of the display panel according to the comparison result.
In some embodiments, before the step of acquiring initial data corresponding to a plurality of pixel designs, the method further includes:
setting the data processing program and the comparison program on a pixel design interface;
and configuring the data processing program and the comparison program.
In some embodiments, the step of obtaining initial data corresponding to the pixel design includes:
receiving an operation instruction of the pixel design interface;
and acquiring initial data corresponding to the pixel design according to the operation instruction of the pixel design interface.
In some embodiments, the step of processing the initial data using a data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design includes:
processing initial data corresponding to the pixel design by using a first data processing program to obtain data to be simulated;
processing the data to be simulated by using a second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design; the data processing program includes a first data processing program and the second data processing program.
In some embodiments, the step of processing the initial data corresponding to the pixel design by using the first data processing program to obtain the data to be simulated includes:
configuring technical files, extraction options and boundary layers of parameters of all film layers in a first data processing program before configuration to obtain a first data processing program after configuration;
and processing the initial data corresponding to the pixel design by using the configured first data processing program to obtain the data to be simulated.
In some embodiments, the step of processing the data to be simulated by using a second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design includes:
configuring analysis options, a netlist file, a model file, a parameter file and a pixel parameter mapping file in a second data processing program before configuration to obtain a configured second data processing program;
and processing the data to be simulated by using a configured second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design.
In some embodiments, the step of processing the data to be simulated by using a second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design includes:
according to the data to be simulated, carrying out charging simulation on the pixels to obtain a simulation signal;
and processing the simulation signal to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application. It is to be understood that the embodiments described are only a few embodiments of the present application and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
As shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present application provides a display panel pixel design method, which is applied to an EDA tool, where the EDA tool includes a data processing program and a comparison program, and the display panel pixel design method includes:
s1, acquiring initial data corresponding to a plurality of pixel designs;
s2, processing the initial data by using the data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design;
s3, comparing the reference data by using the comparison program to obtain a comparison result;
s4, determining the pixel design of the display panel according to the comparison result.
The embodiment of the application provides a display panel pixel design method, which is characterized in that a data processing program and a comparison program are arranged in an EDA tool, so that data are processed and compared through the data processing program and the comparison program in a pixel design process, and pixel design meeting requirements is determined; need not to adopt artifical processing and arrangement data, provided the efficiency of pixel design, and reduced the risk that artifical processing brought the deviation.
In one embodiment, a pixel design refers to a one-pixel version or a one-pixel type, and any difference in shape, material, size in the two pixel designs is represented as a different pixel design.
In one embodiment, the initial data includes raw data of the resistance of the electrode corresponding to the pixel design and the capacitance between the electrodes, e.g., the material of the electrode constituting the resistance, the size being the resistance.
In one embodiment, the reference data includes a reference index for each pixel design, such as resistance of the electrodes and capacitance between the electrodes in each pixel design, a charge rate for the pixel design (the potential that the pixel electrode can be charged to between the opening and the end of a row within a pixel divided by the potential given by the data line), U% of the charge rate (the difference in charge rates at different locations on the display panel), LCS ratio (the difference between the positive and negative frame-stable potentials for the sub-pixel/the difference between the positive and negative frame-stable voltages for the main pixel, which data is used to model the difference in brightness between the sub-pixel and the main pixel), Best Vcom (optimal common voltage).
Before the data processing program and the comparison program are used for processing and comparing the data, the data processing program and the comparison program need to be configured, so that the data processing program and the comparison program can be automatically executed and the accuracy of data processing is provided. and acquiring initial data corresponding to the pixel design according to the operation instruction of the pixel design interface. That is, by an operation instruction on the pixel interface, for example, a mouse selects a "straight line" and the "straight line" is from coordinate 1 to coordinate 2, the relevant data of the straight line can be recorded, and initial data corresponding to the pixel design can be obtained according to the operation instruction on the pixel design interface, so that the initial data corresponding to the pixel design is processed to determine the required pixel design.
The method aims at the situation that in the data processing process, the resistance of the electrodes and the capacitance between the electrodes need to be processed, and charging simulation is carried out on pixels to determine the charging performance of the pixels. In one embodiment, the step of processing the initial data by using a data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design includes:
processing initial data corresponding to the pixel design by using a first data processing program to obtain data to be simulated;
processing the data to be simulated by using a second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design; the data processing program includes a first data processing program and the second data processing program. When the data processing program is used for processing the initial data, the first data processing program can be used for processing the initial data to obtain data to be simulated, and then the second data processing program is used for performing charging simulation to obtain the electrical performance of each pixel design, so that the pixel design meeting the requirement is determined according to the electrical performance of each pixel design.
When the first data processing program and the second data processing program are used for processing the initial data, the first data processing program can be automatically triggered after the initial instruction is received, and then the second data processing program can be automatically triggered after the data to be simulated are received. The first data processing program and the second data processing program can be triggered by clicking through setting a clickable option on the pixel design interface.
In an embodiment, when the first data processing program is used to process the initial data corresponding to the pixel design, the first data processing program needs to be configured first, so that the configured first data processing program can process the initial data to obtain accurate data to be simulated, and this step includes: configuring technical files, extraction options and boundary layers of parameters of all film layers in a first data processing program before configuration to obtain a first data processing program after configuration; and processing the initial data corresponding to the pixel design by using the configured first data processing program to obtain the data to be simulated.
In an embodiment, when the second data processing program is used to process the data to be simulated to obtain the reference data corresponding to the pixel design, the second data processing program needs to be configured first, so that the second data processing program can process the data to be simulated after obtaining the data to be simulated and process the data to obtain the electrical signal, and this step includes: configuring analysis options, a netlist file, a model file, a parameter file and a pixel parameter mapping file in a second data processing program before configuration to obtain a configured second data processing program; and processing the data to be simulated by using a configured second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design.
Wherein the analysis option may analyze the data; the netlist file can set electric signals needing to be captured; the model file may set a processing model employed by the second data processing program; the parameter file is a file required by charging simulation; the pixel parameter mapping file is a file which can link the data to be simulated and the parameter file together, so that the data to be simulated is automatically replaced to the parameter file, and charging simulation is performed.
In one embodiment, when the second data processing program is configured, the method for processing each electric signal and the related calculation formula are further configured.
Processing the data to be simulated by aiming at the second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design, wherein the reference data can be obtained by adopting charging simulation, and the step comprises the following steps of: according to the data to be simulated, carrying out charging simulation on the pixels to obtain a simulation signal; and processing the simulation signal to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design. After the capacitance of the electrode and the resistance between the electrodes corresponding to each pixel design are obtained, the data are replaced into a charging simulation file, charging simulation is carried out on each pixel design by using a second data processing program to obtain an electric signal, and then the electric signal is processed to obtain reference data corresponding to each pixel design, so that the pixel design meeting the requirements can be determined according to the reference data.
In one embodiment, the electrical signals include, but are not limited to, data signals, scan signals, pixel electrode signals, clock signals, and the like.
In one embodiment, the charge simulation is performed on each pixel design by establishing the circuitry of the display panel and then feeding in the initial potential to obtain the actual waveforms and related data of each electrical signal after being influenced by the voltage and capacitance and each electrical signal.
After the reference data corresponding to each pixel design is obtained, the reference data corresponding to each pixel design needs to be compared, so that the pixel design meeting the requirements is determined. In an embodiment, the step of comparing the reference data with the comparison program to obtain a comparison result includes:
acquiring the reference data comparison interface according to the reference data;
displaying the reference data on the reference data comparison interface;
and comparing the reference data to obtain a comparison interface, and displaying the comparison result. After the reference data is obtained, a reference data comparison interface corresponding to the reference data can be determined, and then the reference data is displayed on the parameter data comparison interface, so that the reference data can be compared on the reference data comparison interface to obtain a comparison result.
In one embodiment, when comparing the reference data, the reference data may be compared by setting parameters and using comparison pass numbers, or may be checked by data of a person for comparison.
In an embodiment, the step of obtaining the reference data comparison interface according to the reference data includes:
establishing a corresponding reference data comparison interface according to the type of the reference data;
and receiving the reference data, and calling a corresponding reference data comparison interface according to the type of the reference data. When the reference data comparison interface is determined, different reference data comparison interfaces can be established according to different reference data required to be compared, and then after the reference data are received, the corresponding reference data comparison interface is called according to the reference data, so that the reference data can be compared on the reference data comparison interface.
Meanwhile, as shown in fig. 2, an embodiment of the present application provides a display panel pixel design apparatus applied to an EDA tool, the display panel pixel design apparatus including:
an obtaining module 101, configured to obtain initial data corresponding to a plurality of pixel designs;
a data processing program 102, configured to process the initial data to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design;
a comparison program 103, configured to compare the reference data to obtain a comparison result;
a determining module 104, configured to determine a pixel design of the display panel according to the comparison result.
The embodiment of the application provides a display panel pixel design device, and a display panel pixel design method used by the display panel pixel design device enables data to be processed and compared through a data processing program and a comparison program in a pixel design process by setting the data processing program and the comparison program in an EDA tool, so that the pixel design meeting requirements is determined; need not to adopt artifical processing and arrangement data, provided the efficiency of pixel design, and reduced the risk that artifical processing brought the deviation.

acquiring initial data corresponding to a plurality of pixel designs;
processing the initial data by using the data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design;
comparing the reference data by using the comparison program to obtain a comparison result;
and determining the pixel design of the display panel according to the comparison result.
2. The display panel pixel design method of claim 1, further comprising, prior to the step of obtaining initial data corresponding to a plurality of pixel designs:
setting the data processing program and the comparison program on a pixel design interface;
and configuring the data processing program and the comparison program.
3. The display panel pixel design method of claim 2, wherein the step of obtaining initial data corresponding to the pixel design comprises:
receiving an operation instruction of the pixel design interface;
and acquiring initial data corresponding to the pixel design according to the operation instruction of the pixel design interface.
4. The method as claimed in claim 3, wherein the step of processing the initial data by the data processing program to obtain the reference data corresponding to the pixel design comprises:
processing initial data corresponding to the pixel design by using a first data processing program to obtain data to be simulated;
processing the data to be simulated by using a second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design; the data processing program includes a first data processing program and the second data processing program.
5. The method as claimed in claim 4, wherein the step of processing the initial data corresponding to the pixel design by the first data processing program to obtain the data to be simulated comprises:
configuring technical files, extraction options and boundary layers of parameters of all film layers in a first data processing program before configuration to obtain a first data processing program after configuration;
and processing the initial data corresponding to the pixel design by using the configured first data processing program to obtain the data to be simulated.
6. The display panel pixel design method of claim 4, wherein the step of processing the data to be simulated by using the second data processing program to obtain the reference data corresponding to the pixel design comprises:
configuring analysis options, a netlist file, a model file, a parameter file and a pixel parameter mapping file in a second data processing program before configuration to obtain a configured second data processing program;
and processing the data to be simulated by using a configured second data processing program to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design.
7. The display panel pixel design method of claim 4, wherein the step of processing the data to be simulated by using the second data processing program to obtain the reference data corresponding to the pixel design comprises:
according to the data to be simulated, carrying out charging simulation on the pixels to obtain a simulation signal;
and processing the simulation signal to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design.
8. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the step of comparing the reference data with the comparison program to obtain the comparison result comprises:
acquiring a reference data comparison interface according to the reference data;
displaying the reference data on the reference data comparison interface;
and comparing the reference data to obtain a comparison interface, and displaying the comparison result.
9. The method of claim 8, wherein the step of obtaining the reference data comparison interface based on the reference data comprises:
establishing a corresponding reference data comparison interface according to the type of the reference data;
and receiving the reference data, and calling a corresponding reference data comparison interface according to the type of the reference data.
10. A display panel pixel design apparatus, applied to an EDA tool, comprising:
the acquisition module is used for acquiring initial data corresponding to a plurality of pixel designs;
a data processing program for processing the initial data to obtain reference data corresponding to the pixel design;
the comparison program is used for comparing the reference data to obtain a comparison result;
