Abstract

一种高尔夫球杆头的组成合金,包含7.0wt%~8.0wt%的铝、0.15wt%~0.3wt%的硅、1.8wt%~2.2wt%的铬、0.8wt%~1.2wt%的钒、2.3wt%~2.7wt%的钼、0.3wt%~0.7wt%的铁,其余为不可避免的杂质及用以平衡且含量不为0的钛。本发明具有高韧性及强度,能承受高尔夫球杆头击球瞬间的局部高速撞击而不破裂、不变形,且本发明同时具有低密度的特色,能减轻杆头重量,使配重分布能有更大的弹性,以能针对不同的弹道需求、使用者特性来进行重心的调整,达到最优化的杆头设计。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种组成合金,特别是涉及一种可用于作为高尔夫球杆头之材料的组成合金。
背景技术
由于质量轻及强度高等特点,钛合金被广泛应用于航天、汽车、精密机械及自行车等领域,其中常见的代表便是Ti-6Al-4V合金,其是由6wt%的铝、4wt%的钒,及不可避免的杂质及钛组成,然而此材质的比强度不足,难以承受击球时瞬间升高的力道,且不利于重新调整配重,因而已无法满足目前的高尔夫球杆头的设计。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种具高强度、高韧度及低密度等特性,以能应用于高尔夫球杆头的组成合金。
本发明高尔夫球杆头的组成合金包含7.0wt%~8.0wt%的铝、0.15wt%~0.3wt%的硅、1.8wt%~2.2wt%的铬、0.8wt%~1.2wt%的钒、2.3wt%~2.7wt%的钼、0.3wt%~0.7wt%的铁,其余为不可避免的杂质及用以平衡且含量不为0的钛。
较佳地,前述高尔夫球杆头的组成合金,其中硅的重量百分比为0.18wt%。
本发明的有益的效果在于:本发明具有高韧性及强度,能承受高尔夫球杆头击球瞬间的局部高速撞击而不破裂、不变形,且本发明同时具有低密度的特色,能减轻杆头重量,使配重分布能有更大的弹性,以能针对不同的弹性需求、使用者特性来进行重心的调整,达到最优化的杆头设计。

具体实施方式
下面结合附图及实施例对本发明进行详细说明。
本发明高尔夫球杆头的组成合金包含7.0wt%~8.0wt%的铝、0.15wt%~0.3wt%的硅、1.8wt%~2.2wt%的铬、0.8wt%~1.2wt%的钒、2.3wt%~2.7wt%的钼、0.3wt%~0.7wt%的铁,其余为不可避免的杂质,及用以平衡且含量不为0的钛。其中硅的含量较佳为0.18wt%。本发明通过添加0.15wt%~0.3wt%的硅,能有利于防止气孔形成、增进收缩作用,及增加金属液的流动性,从而能提升合金铸件的铸造性。加入1.8wt%~2.2wt%的铬,可提升合金材料硬化能及强度。加入0.8wt%~1.2wt%的钒,可使合金晶粒细化与析出强化,有助于提升合金机械性质。加入2.3wt%~2.7wt%的钼,能增加强度但不致降低可塑性及韧性。
参阅图1及下表1,本发明高尔夫球杆头的组成合金的一个实施例(ZA010)包含7.6wt%的铝、0.18wt%的硅、2wt%的铬、1wt%的钒、2.5wt%的钼、0.5wt%的铁,其余为不可避免的杂质,及用以平衡的钛。图1所显示的是本发明的晶相SEM(扫描式电子显微镜,Scanning Electron Microscope,简称SEM)图。
参阅下表1,为本发明实施例与其他7种常见的高强度钛合金材料的成分组成,下表2则是这8种材料的机械性质比较,由表2中可清楚看到,本实施例有较高的强度、韧度及硬度,因此做为高尔夫球杆头的材料,本实施例可承受击球瞬间的高速撞击,而能不破裂且不变形。参阅图2,图2为表1中的8种钛合金特性的散点图,其中横坐标为应力除以弹性系数,纵坐标则为应力除以密度,据此可将图1区分为四个区域,左下的区域代表强度低且密度高,其并不适合作为高尔夫球杆头之材料,右下的区域代表密度高,其不利于结构设计及配重调整,左上的区域代表强度高但弹性系数也高,其材质较脆而导致球头容易破裂,右上的区域代表强度高但密度较低,其在保持高强度及韧度的情况下,还能拥有较低的密度,可维持设计及重心配置的灵活度,而本发明实施例相较于其他材料而言,是位于右上方的区域,也就是维持高强度及高韧度的同时,能有较低的密度,因此利于调整配重,且能承受击球瞬间的高速撞击,适合制成高尔夫球杆头。

综上所述,本发明的组成合金能在具备高强度及高韧性的同时,拥有相对较低的密度,不但能提升作为高尔夫球杆头的耐用度,也能提高其结构设计及配重的自由度和机动性,故确实能达成本发明的目的。

Claims (2)

1.一种高尔夫球杆头的组成合金,其特征在于:所述高尔夫球杆头的组成合金包含7.0wt%~8.0wt%的铝、0.15wt%~0.3wt%的硅、1.8wt%~2.2wt%的铬、0.8wt%~1.2wt%的钒、2.3wt%~2.7wt%的钼、0.3wt%~0.7wt%的铁,其余为不可避免的杂质及用以平衡且含量不为0的钛。
2.根据权利要求1所述高尔夫球杆头的组成合金,其特征在于:硅的重量百分比为0.18wt%。
