Description

Elastic film, flexible display panel and manufacturing method thereof
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of display panels, and particularly relates to an elastic film, a flexible display panel and a manufacturing method of the flexible display panel.
Background
Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display technology is widely used. In the process of producing the flexible OLED, a laser lift-off (LLO) technique is often used to peel off the flexible display panel and the glass substrate. As shown in fig. 1, the flexible display panel generally includes a POL protection film 1, an OLED display film 2, a PI flexible support film 3, and a BP protection film 4 after being peeled off from a glass substrate. The PI flexible support film 3 is used to enable the OLED display film 2 to be flexibly folded to different degrees during use. The BP protection film 4 is mainly used for buffering and/or protecting the stress of the PI flexible support film 3 to prevent the PI flexible support film 3 from being damaged to generate a black spot defect (Dark spot).
As shown in fig. 2, the BP protective film 4 generally used includes a weak pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5, a weak adhesive protective film 6. The weak pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 is attached to the PI flexible support film 3 so as to buffer and protect the PI flexible support film 3. However, since the flexible display panel still needs to be subjected to a plurality of processes to obtain a final product, although the weak pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 can buffer the micro stress generated in the subsequent process to protect the PI flexible support film 3, the subsequent process is performed in a vacuum environment, and under the action of vacuum adsorption, the deformation amount of the weak pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 and the weak adhesive protective film 6 is smaller than that in a normal pressure environment, and the buffer absorption of an external force is small. At this time, as shown in fig. 3, if the large particles 8 exist on the surface of the process platform 7, the BP protective film 4 may push up the weakly adhesive protective film 6 placed on the process platform and form the first protrusions 9 on the weakly adhesive protective film 6. Since the amount of deformation of the weak pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5 is reduced in a vacuum environment during the manufacturing process, the first protrusions 9 transfer the deformation to the weak pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5, and the second protrusions 10 are formed on the weak pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 5. The second protrusion 10 further jacks up the PI flexible support film 3, so that the PI flexible support film 3 is damaged during the manufacturing process, thereby causing the above-mentioned black spot defect.

An object of the present application is to provide an elastic film, a flexible display panel and a method of manufacturing the same. In this application, a plurality of depressed parts have been seted up to the bottom surface of the elastic membrane that this display panel adopted, and this depressed part can respond and further offset the deformation extrusion to protect flexible support membrane, avoid flexible support membrane to lay and produce the bad phenomenon of black spot because the unevenness in the processing procedure.
In order to achieve the above objects, the present application provides an elastic film, a flexible display panel, and a method of manufacturing the same.
The present application provides an elastic film comprising: the top layer and the bottom layer that is laminated with this top layer. The top layer is used for being attached to the lower surface of the flexible support film of the flexible display panel. The top surface of the bottom layer is attached to the lower surface of the top layer, and a plurality of concave parts are arranged on the bottom surface of the top layer.
In some embodiments of the present application, the thickness of the elastic membrane may be any thickness without affecting its tackiness and luminescence.
In some embodiments of the present application, the thickness of the top layer may be generally 0.109 ± 0.01 mm. The thickness is generally dependent on the product structure and may vary depending on the size of the product. The thickness of the bottom layer may be 0.09 ± 0.01mm, all within the material tolerances.
In some embodiments of the present application, the recess may be a groove, and the shape of the groove may be any shape. However, in other embodiments of the present application, the shape of the recess may not be limited to the groove, as long as the function of "resisting the extrusion deformation of the large particles to the functional film layer in the manufacturing process" is achieved. In the slotted design of the present application, the slot pitch size is related to the total area of the elastic film layer, and may be any value and the shape profile of the slot may be any value under the background that the total area of the elastic film layer does not affect the weak adhesiveness and the overall flatness of the protective film. The number of the grooves may be arbitrary as long as the adhesiveness and function of the protective film are not affected.
In some embodiments of the present application, the depth H of the depression (or groove) is equal to the height H × 90% × (0.5-1.0) of the elastic film (or pressure sensitive adhesive layer), and the coefficient in parentheses may also be 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, or 0.9, etc.; alternatively, the width W of the depression (or groove) may be equal to the width W × 110% × (0.5 to 0.9) of the elastic film (or pressure-sensitive adhesive layer), and the coefficient in parentheses may be 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, or the like. And x represents a multiplication number.

However, in other embodiments of the present application, the cross-section of the groove may not be limited to the above shape, as long as it can play a role of "resisting the extrusion deformation of large particles to each functional film layer in the process". When the cross section of the groove is trapezoid or parallelogram, the cross sections of two adjacent grooves can be axisymmetric or centrosymmetric.
In some embodiments of the present application, the elastic film may be a pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The parameters of the pressure sensitive adhesive layer may be: the depth H of the depression (or groove) is equal to the height H multiplied by 90% × (0.5-1.0) of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, and the width W of the depression (or groove) is equal to the width W multiplied by 110% × (0.5-0.9) of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The numerical range of 0.5 to 1.0 represents any one of values in the range of 0.5 to 1.0. And x represents a multiplication number. The pressure-sensitive adhesive can be a solid adhesive layer as long as the adhesiveness of the pressure-sensitive adhesive is not influenced, the product process is satisfied, and no special viscosity specification exists. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer can be acrylic acid, silica gel or rubber.

Wherein the display light emitting layer may be made of an organic light emitting diode material (OLED). The flexible supporting film is attached to the bottom surface of the display light emitting layer and used for supporting the display light emitting layer, and the material of the flexible supporting film may be Polyimide (PI). The elastic membrane is attached to the bottom surface of the flexible support membrane, and plays a role in stress buffering so as to maintain the flatness of the flexible support membrane in different manufacturing processes. The elastic film may be the elastic film described above. The adhesive protective film is attached to the bottom surface of the elastic film to protect the elastic film from being scratched by a sharp object. The material of the adhesive protective film can be an antistatic PU film layer, so that the surface of a product can be protected from being scratched and the capacitance can be damaged by electrostatic interference.
The manufacturing method of the flexible display panel comprises the following steps:
(1) preparing an elastic film, and attaching an adhesive protective film to the lower surface of the elastic film to obtain a support substrate;
(2) forming a display light-emitting layer on the upper surface of the flexible support film, and attaching the elastic film of the support substrate to the lower surface of the flexible support film to obtain a flexible display panel;
among them, the method of forming the depressions on the lower surface of the elastic film is not particularly limited as long as the desired depressions can be produced.
Due to the adoption of the technical scheme, the application has the following technical effects:
