An oral cavity supporting device for examination in the department of respiration comprises a lower supporting plate and an upper supporting plate, wherein the lower supporting plate and the upper supporting plate are respectively detachably connected with a tooth socket; the shearing machine is characterized by further comprising a movable handle for driving the shearing frame to stretch, the movable handle is in sliding connection with the handle, a return spring is connected between the movable handle and the handle, and one end of the movable handle extends into the cavity and is hinged with the shearing frame.

a. sleeving a new tooth socket on the lower supporting plate and the upper supporting plate respectively, and then placing the new tongue depressor in the fixing box, wherein the front end of the new tongue depressor extends out to a proper length;
b. the medical staff holds the handle to place the upper supporting plate and the lower supporting plate in the slightly-opened mouth of the patient, the upper teeth and the lower teeth of the patient bite the tooth socket, and at the moment, a part of the tongue depressor presses down the front end of the tongue;
