The second top plate 142 is disposed opposite to the first top plate 122 and attached to the first top plate. It should be noted that the term "fit" as used herein is to be understood as meaning that the two are in contact without affecting the sliding movement therebetween, or that the gap between the two is within the tolerance of assembly.
It should be noted that in this application, unless explicitly stated or limited otherwise, the first feature "on" or "under" the second feature may include the first and second features being in direct contact, or may include the first and second features not being in direct contact but being in contact with each other through another feature therebetween. Also, the first feature being "on," "above" and "over" the second feature includes the first feature being directly on and obliquely above the second feature, or merely indicating that the first feature is at a higher level than the second feature. A first feature being "under," "below," and "beneath" a second feature includes the first feature being directly under and obliquely below the second feature, or simply meaning that the first feature is at a lesser elevation than the second feature.
It will be appreciated that in this embodiment, the second portion 14 is slidable relative to the first portion 12 to move away from or towards the first portion 12. In the present embodiment, "the first part 12 and the second part 14 move away from each other" may be understood as that the second part 14 slides relative to the first part 12 and the sliding direction is away from the first part 12. In addition, in the present embodiment, the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 may also move toward each other, and the movement of the two toward each other may be understood as the second portion 14 sliding with respect to the first portion 12 with the sliding direction toward the first portion 12.
It is further noted that, in the description of the present application, it is to be noted that, unless otherwise explicitly specified or limited, the terms "mounted", "connected" and "connected" are to be interpreted broadly, e.g. as a fixed connection, a detachable connection or an integral connection; may be a mechanical connection; either directly or indirectly through intervening media, either internally or in any other relationship. The specific meaning of the above terms in the present application can be understood by those of ordinary skill in the art as appropriate.
Referring to fig. 1, 4 and 5, in the present embodiment, when the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 move toward each other to the limit position (i.e., when the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 approach each other until the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are fit together), the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are integrally formed into a substantially rectangular housing 10. Referring to fig. 2, 6 and 7, as first portion 12 and second portion 14 move apart (i.e., away from each other), first portion 12 and second portion 14 separate.
Referring to fig. 3, 5 and 7, the reel 20 is rotatably disposed in the first portion 12, and specifically, the reel 20 is rotatably disposed in the accommodating space 120. That is, the spool 20 is mounted to the first portion 12 and is rotatable relative to the first portion 12. The roll 20 is adapted to be connected to a driving mechanism 70 such that the roll 20 can be rotated relative to the first portion 12 to release or roll up the flexible display 30 under the driving of the driving mechanism 70.
It will be appreciated that the rotational positioning of the spool 20 on the first portion 12 may refer to the spool 20 being mounted directly on the first portion 12, or may refer to the spool 20 being mounted on the first portion 12 via other media.
In addition, with continued reference to fig. 5 and 7, one end of the flexible display 30 is fixedly connected to the second portion 14, and the other end is wound on the reel 20. The roll 20 may be used to roll up the flexible display 30 and release the flexible display 30. Wherein upon a movement of the first and second portions 12, 14 away from each other, the roller 20 is able to rotate to release the flexible display 30, thereby expanding the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30. Specifically, one end of the flexible display 30 is fixedly connected to the second portion 14, and the other end thereof passes through the first opening 1222 of the first portion 12 and is connected to the reel 20 disposed in the accommodating space 120.
In this manner, the spool 20 can rotate to release the flexible display 30 when the first and second portions 12, 14 are moved apart, thereby expanding the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30. Therefore, the size of the screen display area of the mobile terminal 100 can be freely adjusted, the display part 301 of the flexible display screen 30 can be expanded to improve the operation experience of a user when a large screen is needed, and meanwhile, the display part 301 can not be expanded when the large screen is not needed, so that the whole machine is small in size and convenient to carry.
It will be appreciated that referring to fig. 5, in one instance, the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are closely coupled together, in which case the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 is not extended and the mobile terminal 100 is in the narrow screen mode, in which case a portion of the flexible display 30 is rolled up on the roller 20 and a portion is positioned above the first top plate 122 and exposed from the housing 10 for display. Note that in this embodiment, "the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30" may be understood as a portion located above the second top plate 142 of the second portion 14, that is, a portion exposed from the housing 10.
Referring to fig. 7, when the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 needs to be expanded, the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 move away from each other, so that the second portion 14 drives one end of the flexible display screen 30 to move, and at this time, the reel 20 can release the flexible display screen 30, so that the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 is enlarged, thereby improving the operation experience and the demand of the user. In such a case, the mobile terminal 100 is in the extended mode.
It will be appreciated that there are extreme positions in which the display area of the mobile terminal 100 is maximized, i.e., the area of the flexible display 30 exposed from the housing 10 is maximized, i.e., the area of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 is maximized, when both the second portion 14 and the first portion 12 are moved away from each other (as shown in fig. 7). When the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are brought close together and coupled together, the display area of the mobile terminal 100 is minimized, i.e., the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 is minimized in area (as shown in fig. 5).
One end of the flexible display 30 is fixedly connected to the second portion 14, which may mean that one end of the flexible display 30 is directly fixed to the second portion 14, or that the flexible display 30 is fixed to the second portion 14 through other mediums. One end of the flexible display screen 30 is not movable relative to the second portion 14.
In the embodiment of the present application, one end of the flexible display 30 refers to a first edge of the flexible display 30, and the other end of the flexible display 30 refers to a second edge of the flexible display 30, which is disposed opposite to the first edge.
Specifically, referring to fig. 3 and 5, the flexible display 30 includes a display layer 32 and a cover layer 34, and the display layer 32 and the cover layer 34 are stacked and fixedly connected. For example, display layer 32 and cover layer 34 are bonded together by glue.
In the present embodiment, the display layer 32 has a substantially U-shape, and electric components such as a main board, a sub-board, a sensor, and a battery of the mobile terminal 100 can be accommodated in a space surrounded by the flexible display 30. Like this, flexible display screen 30's the mode of setting up can not influence electric elements's such as mainboard and battery putting, the effectual utilization ratio that improves the space is favorable to piling up and putting of electric elements such as mainboard, battery.
In the present embodiment, the cover layer 34 is a layer element having a relatively high strength, such as a metal layer. The cover layer 34 may protect the display layer 32, reduce wear of the display layer 32, improve the life of the display layer 32, and may increase the overall strength of the flexible display screen 30.
Referring to fig. 5, 7 and 8, the position-limiting member 40 is rotatably disposed in the accommodating space 120 of the first portion 12 and exposed from the first opening 1222, and the middle portion of the flexible display 30 is wound around the position-limiting member 40. The stopper 40 has a columnar shape. It is understood that the middle portion of the flexible display 30 may be understood as a portion located between the two ends of the flexible display 30.
In this way, the position-limiting member 40 can limit the shape of the flexible display assembly 30, so that the display portion 301 of the flexible display assembly 30 can be in a flat state, i.e., the flexible display 30 can be kept in a U-shaped state. In addition, the position-limiting member 40 is connected to the flexible display 30 to guide the second portion 14 to move the flexible display 30 to maintain the smooth movement of the flexible display 30.
That is, one end of the flexible display 30 is fixedly connected to the second portion 14, and the other end passes through the first opening 1222 and is connected to the reel 20 after passing through the limiting member 40.
Referring to fig. 5, 7 and 11, in the present embodiment, the camera 60 may be disposed in the accommodating space 120 of the first portion 12, the cover 50 is connected to the first portion 12 and covers the accommodating space 120, and the camera 60 can capture images through the cover 50. That is, in the present embodiment, the first portion 12 is formed integrally with the cover 50, the camera 60 does not follow the movement when the second portion 14 moves relative to the first portion 12, and the camera 60 is located at the middle position of the entire flexible display 30 when in the extended mode.
In the present embodiment, the cover 50 is detachably connected to the first portion 12, so that the cover 50 can be easily detached to repair and replace the electrical components such as the motherboard, the battery or the sensor stacked in the accommodating space 120. That is, the second connecting portion 54 is fixedly connected to the first portion 12, the second connecting portion 54 is fixedly connected to the second portion 14, the second connecting portion 54 is movable relative to the first connecting portion 52, and the camera 60 is capable of following the movement of the second portion 14.
Specifically, the second connection portion 52 may be fixedly or detachably connected to the bottom plate of the bottom plate 146, and the second connection portion 52 includes a light-transmitting portion 56 corresponding to the through hole or the light-transmitting area, that is, the camera 60, the through hole (or the light-transmitting area), and the light-transmitting portion 56 correspond to each other. In this way, the camera 60 can receive light through the through hole (or the light transmitting region) and the light transmitting portion 56 for image capturing.
Referring to fig. 13 and 15, when the mobile terminal 100 is in the narrow screen mode, i.e., the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 move to the extreme positions, the first connecting portion 52 and the second connecting portion 54 are spliced together to form the cover 50 of the mobile terminal 100. Referring to fig. 14 and 16, when the second portion 14 moves away from the first portion 12, the second connecting portion 54 is separated from the second connecting portion 52.
Specifically, referring to fig. 13 and 14, in such an embodiment, an arc-shaped concave portion 542 is formed on the first connection portion 52, a convex portion 522 matching the concave portion 542 is formed on the second connection portion 54, and the convex portion 522 is also arc-shaped, when the mobile terminal 100 is in the narrow-screen mode (as shown in fig. 13 and 15), the concave portion 542 and the convex portion 522 are spliced together to realize splicing of the first connection portion 52 and the second connection portion 54. It is understood that the first connecting portion 52 and the second connecting portion 54 may be made in other shapes, for example, both of them are rectangular, and they can be directly spliced to form the cover 50, and for example, one of them may be formed with regularly arranged protrusions, and the other one may be formed with grooves corresponding to the protrusions, so that the shape of the housing 10 can be enriched to improve the aesthetic feeling when the mobile terminal 100 is in the extended mode.
Further, in such an embodiment, the first connection portion 52 and the second connection portion 54 may be designed to have two different color effects, which may enrich the appearance effect of the mobile terminal 100.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 5 and fig. 7, in the present embodiment, the driving mechanism 70 may be disposed in the accommodating space 120, the driving mechanism 70 is connected to the second portion 14, and the driving mechanism 70 is configured to drive the second portion 14 to move away from the first portion 12 to drive the flexible display 30 to expand, so as to expand the display portion 301 of the display layer 32.
In addition, referring to fig. 5 and 7, in an embodiment, the driving mechanism 70 may be further connected to the reel 20, and when the driving mechanism 70 drives the second member 14 to move away from the first portion 12, the driving mechanism 70 may also simultaneously drive the reel 20 to rotate to release the cover layer 34 of the flexible display screen 30, thereby expanding the display portion 301 of the display layer 32.
Specifically, the driving mechanism 70 may include a motor (not shown), a first transmission structure 72 and a second transmission structure 74, and the motor may be fixedly disposed in the accommodating space 120 of the first portion 12.
The first transmission structure 72 includes a first transmission gear 722 and a rack portion 724. The first transmission gear 722 is connected to the motor, the rack portion 724 is fixedly connected to the second portion 14, and the rack portion 724 is engaged with the first transmission gear 722. Specifically, in the present embodiment, the rack portion 724 is integrally formed with the second top plate 142 of the second portion 14, that is, the rack portion 724 may be directly integrally formed on the lower surface of the second top plate 142. Can clean upSolution (II)In other embodiments, the rack portion 724 may be formed separately from the second portion 14 and then fixedly connected together by welding or the like, which is not limited herein.
Referring again to fig. 5 and 7, the second transmission structure 74 connects the spool 20 and the first transmission gear 722. The second transmission structure 74 includes a second transmission gear 742 and a third transmission gear 744, the second transmission gear 742 is fixed on the winding shaft 20 and is concentrically arranged with the winding shaft 20, the third transmission gear 744 is fixedly connected to the motor shaft of the motor, and the third transmission gear 744 is connected to the second transmission gear 742 and the first transmission gear 722, that is, the third transmission gear 744 is connected to the motor shaft of the motor and respectively meshed with the second transmission gear 742 and the first transmission gear 722, and the first transmission gear 722 and the second transmission gear 742 are located on two opposite sides of the third transmission gear 744.
In this embodiment, a motor may be used to drive the second portion 14 in motion relative to the first portion 12 via the first transmission structure 72. At the same time, the motor may be used to drive the second portion 14 to move away from the first portion 12, and simultaneously drive the reel 20 to rotate via the second transmission mechanism 74 to release the flexible display 30.
Specifically, when the display area of the mobile terminal 100 needs to be expanded, that is, the display portion 301 of the display layer 32 needs to be expanded, the motor can drive the third transmission gear 744 to rotate, the third transmission gear 744 drives the first transmission gear 722 to rotate, the first transmission gear 722 drives the second portion 14 to move away from the first portion 12 through the rack portion 724, the second portion 14 drives one end of the flexible display screen 30 to move, meanwhile, the third transmission gear 744 can also drive the second transmission gear 742 to rotate at the same time, and then the scroll 20 is driven to rotate, so that the scroll 20 can release the flexible display screen 30 synchronously, and the purpose of expanding the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 is achieved.
It can be understood that when the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 needs to be reduced, the motor is only required to be reversely rotated so as to drive the second portion 14 to move relative to the first portion 12, in such a case, the second portion 14 gradually releases the flexible display 30, and the reel 20 can gradually roll up the flexible display 30.
It will be appreciated that in this embodiment, the travel of the second portion 14 per unit time is equal to the length of the flexible display 30 released by the rotation of the spool 20. That is, the spool 20 rotates to release the length of the flexible display 30 by the distance the end of the flexible display 30 is pulled by the second portion 14, which ensures that the flexible display 30 moves smoothly without wrinkles.
Furthermore, it can be further understood that, in some embodiments, in order to ensure the smoothness of rolling up and releasing the flexible display 30 by the roll 20, the number of the driving mechanisms 70 may be two, and the number of the rolls 20 is also two, and the two driving mechanisms 70 may be symmetrically disposed in the accommodating space 120 along the longitudinal direction of the mobile terminal 100 and respectively connected with the second portion 14, and also respectively connected with the two rolls 20. In this way, the synchronous and smooth rotation of the two reels 20 and the smooth movement of the second part 14 can be achieved by the synchronous driving of the two identical driving mechanisms 70, thereby ensuring the reliability of the movement of the mobile terminal 100 when expanding the display part 301 of the flexible display 30.
Furthermore, in other embodiments, the drive mechanism 70 may also include two synchronous motors disposed on the first portion 12, one of which is used to drive the second portion 14 relative to the first portion 12, and the other of which drives the spool 20, both using separate motors. Therefore, the two motors move synchronously, and the movement stability and the movement reliability of the flexible display screen 30 can also be ensured.
In addition, in some embodiments, the driving mechanism 70 may also include a motor disposed on the first portion 12 and a first transmission structure 72 connected to the motor, the motor may drive the second portion 14 to move relative to the first portion 12 through the first transmission structure 72, and the second transmission structure 74 may be omitted.
Further, referring to fig. 17-20, in some embodiments, the mobile terminal 100 may further include a restoring mechanism 80, the restoring mechanism 80 may also be disposed in the accommodating space 120, the restoring mechanism 80 is connected to the reel 20, and the restoring mechanism 20 is configured to apply a restoring force to the flexible display 30 so as to keep the flexible display 30 in a tendency of being wound on the reel 20.
Specifically, the return mechanism 80 applies a return force to the roll 20, and the roll 20 maintains the tendency of the flexible display screen 30 to be wound onto the roll 20 by the return force. That is, when the second portion 14 is not moved relative to the first portion 12 by an external force, the restoring force of the restoring mechanism 80 may rotate the scroll 20, thereby rolling the end of the flexible display 30 onto the scroll 20, in which case the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are completely fitted together and the mobile terminal 100 is in the narrow screen mode.
When the second portion 14 is subjected to an external force and the external force is greater than or equal to the restoring force of the restoring mechanism 80, the second portion 14 moves away from the first portion 12, so as to drive the reel 20 to rotate against the restoring force to release the flexible display 30, thereby expanding the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30.
It will be appreciated that due to the presence of the return mechanism 80, the return mechanism 80 will always apply a tension to the flexible display 30 during the expansion of the display portion 301 of the display layer 32, thereby allowing the flexible display to be folded and unfolded in balance, i.e., keeping the flexible display 30 flat at all times.
It will also be appreciated that in other embodiments, where the mobile terminal 100 includes the return mechanism 80, the driving mechanism 70 may also include the motor, the first transmission structure 72 and the second transmission structure 74 of the above embodiments, the first transmission structure 72 being connected to the second portion 12 of the motor, and the second transmission structure 74 being connected to the first transmission structure 72 and the reel 20. In such an embodiment, when the display area 301 needs to be reduced, the motor may not be operated, and the restoring force of the restoring mechanism 80 is used to rotate the reel 20 reversely to take up the flexible display 30 and move the second portion 14 relative to the first portion 12, i.e. close to the first portion 12.
Further, referring to fig. 20, the restoring mechanism 80 may include an elastic element connected to the spool 20 and configured to apply a restoring force to the spool 20. The resilient member may be a spring, such as a torsion spring as shown in fig. 19. Of course, the elastic element may also be an element having elastic restoring force, such as rubber, and is not limited herein.
Further, referring to fig. 21, in such an embodiment, the mobile terminal 100 may further include a detent structure 90, the detent structure 90 being disposed on the housing 10, the detent structure 90 being used for limiting the rotation of the spool 20 when the second portion 14 moves to a predetermined position relative to the first portion 12. That is, the detent structure 90 prevents the second portion 14 and the flexible display 30 from retracting under the restoring force of the restoring mechanism 80 when the second portion 14 is moved to a predetermined position relative to the first portion 12.
Specifically, referring to fig. 21, in the present embodiment, the locking structure 90 may include a locking block 92 formed on the first portion 12 and a locking groove 94 formed on the second portion 14, and when the second portion 14 moves to a predetermined position relative to the first portion 12, the locking block 92 is locked in the locking groove 94. Thus, even if the external force is removed from the second portion 14, the second portion 14 and the flexible display 30 will not be retracted by the restoring force of the restoring mechanism 80 due to the engagement of the latch 92 and the latch slot 94. To ensure that the mobile terminal 100 is in the extended mode.
It should be noted that the "preset position" may be a relative position between the second portion 14 and the first portion 12 when the two portions move away from each other to the limit position, or may be any position before the limit position.
It should be understood that referring to fig. 22, in other embodiments, a slot 94 may be formed in the first portion 12 and a latch 92 may be formed in the second portion 14. In addition, in some embodiments, a latch may be formed on the first portion 12, a latch may be formed on the spool 20, and the latch may be engaged when the second portion 14 moves to the predetermined position, in which case, the latch and the latch may be engaged by a manual pressing manner or an electric driving manner, so that the spool does not rotate relative to the first portion, and the second portion 14 and the flexible display 30 do not retract under the action of the restoring mechanism 80. Of course, in other embodiments, the detent structure 90 can also include a detent, and the return mechanism 80 can include a torsion spring, which can be locked to counteract the return force of the torsion spring when the second portion 14 moves to the predetermined position. In addition, it is also understood that, in some embodiments, the detent structure 90 may also include an elastic component disposed on the first portion 12 and a first latching portion formed on the second portion 14, the elastic component may include a pressing piece, a spring and a second latching portion, the pressing piece is mounted on the first portion 12, the spring connects the pressing piece and the second latching portion, and the pressing piece may be used to drive the second latching portion to move to latch with the first latching portion under the action of external force through the spring, so as to define the relative position of the first portion 12 and the second portion 14. In this way, when the second portion 14 moves to the preset position, the user can keep the mobile terminal 100 in the extended mode by pressing the pressing piece to engage the first latching portion with the second latching portion, thereby preventing the second portion 14 from retracting under the restoring force of the restoring mechanism 80. It will be appreciated that when the press is pressed again, the first catch and the second catch are disengaged, thereby enabling the second portion 14 and the flexible display 30 to be retracted under the action of the return mechanism 80 to return the mobile terminal 100 from the extended mode to the narrow screen mode.
Referring to fig. 17-19 again, in some embodiments, the mobile terminal 100 includes a telescopic support assembly 160, and the telescopic support assembly 160 is disposed in the housing 10. The telescoping support assembly 160 is configured to extend toward the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 and hold the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 when the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are moved apart.
In this way, the telescopic supporting component 160 extends towards the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 and abuts against the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30, so that the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 can be supported, and thus the deformation degree of the flexible display screen 30 after being touched after being flattened from the reel 20 can be reduced, so that the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 keeps flat, and the display effect of the flexible display screen 30 is ensured. In addition, the telescopic support assembly 160 occupies a small space in the contracted state, which is beneficial to miniaturization of the mobile terminal 100.
It should be noted that the extension of the telescoping support assembly 160 may refer to the overall extension of the telescoping support assembly 160, or the partial extension of the telescoping support assembly 160. The telescopic supporting component 160 abuts against the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30, which may refer to the telescopic supporting component 160 abutting against the display portion 301 of the whole flexible display 30, and may refer to the telescopic supporting component 160 abutting against the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30.
The telescoping support assembly 160 may support the extended portion of the flexible display screen 30 with the flexible display screen 30 fully extended. Thereby, the display part 301 of the flexible display screen 30 can be supported after being expanded, and the display part 301 of the flexible display screen 30 is prevented from being greatly deformed after being touched.
It is noted that the "expanded portion" is understood to be a portion of the flexible display 30 extending from the first portion 12 and flattening out during the process of moving the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 away from each other, i.e. the enlarged display portion 301 of the flexible display 30. Hereinafter, the same or similar descriptions will be referred to for understanding.
It is to be appreciated that the telescoping support assembly 160 may also be collapsible, and the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 may be at least partially supported on the telescoping support assembly 160 when the telescoping support assembly 160 is in the collapsed state. Alternatively, where the telescoping support assembly 160 is sufficiently long, the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 may be supported entirely on the telescoping support assembly 160. The telescopic support assembly 160 may be sequentially extended as the flexible display 30 performs the expansion movement to support the expanded portion of the flexible display 30.
Referring to fig. 23 to 24, in some embodiments, the telescopic supporting assembly 160 includes a plurality of supporting members 161, the supporting members 161 are arranged along the extending direction of the flexible display 30, the supporting members 161 are used for extending and contracting along the thickness direction of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30, and when the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 move away from each other, at least a part of the supporting members 161 extend and abut against the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30.
In this manner, the plurality of supporting members 161 are arranged along the expansion direction of the flexible display 30 such that each supporting member 161 can be independently extended and contracted, and the supporting members 161 can be extended one by one to support the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 during the expansion of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30.
It should be noted that the flexible display 30 is substantially rectangular after being flattened, and at this time, the flexible display 30 is expanded along the length direction thereof. At this time, the expansion direction of the flexible display 30 is the length direction of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30. In addition, the extended height of each support 161 is uniform so that the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 can be supported on the support 161 flatly.
As in the example of fig. 3 and 6, the flexible display 30 is expanded in the lateral direction of the mobile terminal 100, and at this time, the plurality of supports 161 are arranged in the lateral direction of the mobile terminal 100. The plurality of supporting members 161 may be arranged at intervals or may be arranged to abut against each other.
The number of supports 161 may be a number greater than or equal to 2, 3, 4, etc.
Further, in some embodiments, the support member 161 includes an elastic portion 163 and a support portion 162 connected to the elastic portion 163, the elastic portion 163 is connected to the first portion 12, when the flexible display 30 is in the rolled state, the support portion 162 abuts against the second portion 14 to compress the elastic portion 163, and when the flexible display 30 is in the rolled state, the support portion 162 is spaced from the second portion 14 to extend the elastic portion 163, so that the support portion 162 abuts against the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30.
In this way, the elastic part 163 may change the overall height of the support 161 after being stretched, so that the support part 162 may support the display part 301 of the flexible display 30. When the flexible display 30 is in the rolled state, the flexible display 30 is partially rolled on the roller 20, and the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 has the smallest area. At this point, the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are brought closer together. When the flexible display 30 is in the unfolded state, the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 has the largest area, and the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are away from each other.
When the flexible display 30 is in the rolled state, the supporting portion 162 is disposed at a distance from the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30, and at this time, the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 may be supported on the second portion 14, so that the amount of deformation of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 may be reduced.
When the flexible display 30 is in the unfolded state, since the area of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 is increased and the area of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 supported by the second portion 14 is not changed, at this time, since the support member 161 is extended, the support portion 162 can support the expanded portion of the flexible display 30, so that the overall deformation amount of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 can be reduced.
Specifically, the support portion 162 has an elongated shape, and a length direction of the support portion 162 extends in a width direction of the flexible display 30. Or, the length direction of the support part 162 extends along the longitudinal direction of the mobile terminal 100. The length of the support portion 162 is substantially the same as the width of the flexible display 30 so that the support portion 162 can support the flexible display 30 as a whole in the width direction of the flexible display 30.
As shown in fig. 24, each of the supporting portions 162 is provided with an elastic portion 163 at both ends in the length direction, so that the stress of the supporting portion 162 is equalized, and the flexible display screen 30 can be better supported. Of course, two or more elastic parts 163 may be provided in the support part 162.
The elastic portion 163 is an elastic element such as a spring, or a rubber. The elastic portion 163 may be elastically deformed by bending or compression to change its length, thereby changing the overall height of the telescopic support assembly 160.
Referring to fig. 23, in some embodiments, the first top board 122 is opposite to the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30, the second top board 142 is opposite to the first top board 122, and the telescopic supporting assembly 160 is located between the first top board 122 and the second top board 142.
The elastic portion 163 is supported on the first top plate 122, the support portion 162 abuts against the second top plate 142 to compress the elastic portion 163 when the flexible display 30 is in the retracted state, and the support portion 162 is spaced from the second portion 14 to elongate the elastic portion 163 when the flexible display 30 is in the extended state.
As such, the first top plate 122 may provide support for the elastic part 163, so that the support 161 may stably support the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 when the flexible display 30 is touched, reducing the amount of deformation of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30.
It can be understood that referring to fig. 7 and 8, when the flexible display screen 30 is in the rolled state, the display portion 301 is fixedly connected to the upper surface of the second top board 142. At this time, the second top board 142 may provide support for the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30. When the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 move away from each other, the first top plate 122 and the second top plate 142 are displaced, and a gap is formed between the upper surface of the first top plate 122 and the upper surface of the second top plate 142.
At this time, the plurality of supporting portions 162 are gradually released, the supporting portions 162 are elastically ejected to the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 by the elastic portion 163, so that the gap between the first top plate 122 and the flexible display screen 30 can be filled after the telescopic supporting assembly 160 is extended, and the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 can be kept flat when the flexible display screen 30 moves, thereby reducing the phenomena of pressing deformation, collapse and slippage when the mobile terminal 100 is in the expansion mode, and improving the operation experience of the user, when the flexible display screen 30 is touched.
Further, the first top plate 122 is formed with a receiving groove 123, and the elastic portion 163 is inserted into the receiving groove 123. Alternatively, an end of the elastic portion 163 remote from the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 is received in the receiving groove 123. In this way, the accommodating groove 123 can further support the elastic portion 163, and prevent the elastic portion 163 from being twisted, so that the elastic portion 163 can be elastically deformed in the thickness direction of the display portion 301 of the flexible display panel 30.
Referring to fig. 23, in some embodiments, the supporting portion 162 is formed with a first guiding surface 164, the second top plate 142 is formed with a second guiding surface 145, and the second guiding surface 145 is used for guiding the second top plate 142 to press against the supporting portion 162 in cooperation with the first guiding surface 164 during the rolling process of the flexible display 30, so as to compress the elastic portion 163.
Or, when the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 move closer to each other, the area of the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 is reduced, and at this time, the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 may not need to be supported by the supporting portion 161, and the second top portion may press against the supporting portion 162, so that the supporting portion 161 is switched from the extended state to the retracted state, which may make the overall structure of the mobile terminal 100 more compact.
In this embodiment, the first guide surface 164 and the second guide surface 145 are both inclined surfaces, and in other embodiments, the first guide surface 164 and/or the second guide surface 145 may be surfaces having other shapes such as an arc surface.
It is noted that in the example of fig. 17-19, the mobile terminal 100 omits the stopper 40 and the driving mechanism 70, and at this time, the second portion 14 may be manually pulled to expand the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 and extend the telescopic support assembly 160.
In the example of fig. 15 and 16, the mobile terminal 100 includes the first transmission gear 722, and at this time, a motor may drive the first transmission gear 722 to rotate to drive the second portion 14 to rotate, so as to expand the display screen portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 and extend the telescopic support assembly 160. Another motor may drive the reel 20 to rotate to release the flexible display screen 30.
In the example of fig. 5 and 7, the mobile terminal 100 may move the second portion 14 synchronously with the reel 20 through the first, second, and third transmission gears 722, 724, 744, thereby expanding the display screen portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 and extending the telescopic support assembly 160, and causing the reel 20 to release the flexible display screen 30.
Referring to fig. 4 to 7, the operation principle of the mobile terminal 100 according to the present embodiment will be described.
As described above, the mobile terminal 100 can switch between the narrow screen mode and the extended mode. In the states shown in fig. 4 and 5, the mobile terminal 100 is in the narrow screen mode, and in the states shown in fig. 6 and 7, the mobile terminal 100 is in the extended mode. When in the narrow screen mode, the first part 12 and the second part 14 cooperate with each other to form the housing 10, one end of the flexible display 30 is rolled up on the reel 20, and the other end is connected to the second part 14, at this time, only a smaller part of the flexible display 30 is exposed out of the housing 10, and the display part 301 is narrower, so that the display device is convenient for a user to carry.
When a user needs a larger display portion 301, the driving mechanism 70 can drive the second portion 14 to move away from the first portion 12, at this time, the second portion 14 drives one end of the flexible display 30 to move, and at the same time, the driving mechanism 70 also drives the reel 20 to rotate and release the flexible display 30, so that the portion of the flexible display 30 hidden in the housing 10 is gradually pulled out by the second portion 14 (i.e., moves from the state shown in fig. 4 to the state shown in fig. 6), thereby achieving the purpose of expanding the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30, and at this time, the area of the display portion 301 is larger, which can facilitate the user operation to improve the operation experience of the user. At the same time, the telescopic support assembly 160 is extended to support the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30.
When the expansion mode needs to be switched to the narrow-screen mode, the motor of the driving mechanism 70 is only required to be rotated reversely to drive the second portion 14 to move oppositely relative to the first portion 12, so as to release the flexible display screen 30, at this time, the reel 20 is also rotated reversely correspondingly to synchronously roll up the flexible display screen 30, when the flexible display screen moves to the limit position of the opposite movement between the first portion 12 and the second portion 14, the motor stops operating, and the mobile terminal 100 returns to the narrow-screen mode.
In summary, the mobile terminal 100 according to the embodiment of the present application includes a housing 10, a scroll 20, a flexible display 30, and a telescopic support assembly 160. The housing 10 includes a first portion 12 and a second portion 14 that are capable of relative movement. The spool 20 is rotatably disposed in the first portion 12. One end of the flexible display 30 is connected to the second part 14 and the other end is rolled up on the roll 20. Upon a movement of the first and second portions 12, 14 away from each other, the roller 20 can be rotated to release the flexible display screen 30, thereby expanding the display portion 301 of the display layer 32. A telescoping support assembly 160 is disposed within the housing 10. The telescoping support assembly 160 is configured to extend toward the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 and hold the display portion 301 of the flexible display 30 when the first portion 12 and the second portion 14 are moved apart.
In the mobile terminal 100 of the embodiment of the application, the telescopic supporting component 160 extends towards the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 and abuts against the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30, so that the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 can be supported, and thus the deformation degree of the flexible display screen 30 after being touched after being flattened from the scroll 20 can be reduced, the display portion 301 of the flexible display screen 30 keeps flat, and the display effect of the flexible display screen 30 is ensured. In addition, the telescopic support assembly 160 occupies a small space in the contracted state, which is beneficial to miniaturization of the mobile terminal 100.
