Abstract
An integrated system for adapting a box or other container to be mounted as a drawer on furniture or other surface, comprising the box or container, means for securing to said box or container, means for securing to any surface and a slide.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to an integrated system for adapting a box or other container to be mounted as a drawer on furniture or other surfaces.
In its expanded form, it is a flat product with marked folds, at the side ends, it is included as part of a sliding rail system. When folded, it has the shape of a box and is part of a sliding system on top of its two parallel sides.
Background
From the research studies that have been carried out, it can be determined that there is currently no such integrated system: not only can satisfy the requirements for useful space in existing furniture, but also can satisfy the requirements for different surfaces available in daily life, such as a bookshelf, a desk, a table, a bookcase, a door, a wall and the like.
In particular in the case of elements called drawers, the meaning of drawer is to be interpreted as square or rectangular elements with a 90 ° angle and a sliding system (sliding rails that allow it to slide in order to be used).
In summary, the self-adhesive mountable rail system, which can be easily mounted by any mechanical or adhesive means (for example double-sided adhesive tape, velcro and/or screws (screen), nails (nail), tacks (tack) and/or any fixing element fixed on the rail), in turn slides on elements (drawers, boxes, containers with rectangular, square, trapezoidal geometry) which in turn have a counter top or sliding means, for example "L", "U", "T" shaped profiles, and are fastened and/or fixed, glued or attached to the drawers, boxes and containers with rectangular, square or trapezoidal geometry to an alternating extent.
In particular, we refer to the case of mounting drawers on any surface, for example: wardrobes, dressing tables, desks, bookcases, bookshelves, other drawers, counters, bars, etc. If the latter has no drawers before or if it has some drawers, they may be objects for additional placement of one or more drawers.
Drawings
Fig. 1 corresponds to a one-piece form comprising a plurality of panels extending around a central Panel (PC) and provided with pairs of sockets (a, B, C, D, E, F, G, H) at each side or edge of each fold line (13, 14, 15, 16). Each side edge or each fold line is connected to a respective side panel (PI, PD) and to each of a front Panel (PF) and a rear Panel (PT), said front Panel (PF) and rear Panel (PT) defining a respective reinforcing panel extending beyond a pair of fold lines (17, 18), the pair of fold lines (17, 18) forming a ridge when said reinforcing panel (PFR, PTR) is folded. The reinforcement panel (PFR, PTR) has at the distal end a pair of flanges (1, 2, 5, 6) which are inserted by pressure in a corresponding manner into a groove (F, G, B, C) of the central or bottom Panel (PC). The front Panel (PF) and the front reinforcing Panel (PFR) have, in a central position and close to the folding line (17), a pair of holes (P1, P2) which act as pull members or handles for the insertion of the fingers of the user or of the fingers. In this way, the drawer can be slid or slid outwardly or inwardly to open or close the drawer object of the present invention. On the upper edge of the side panels are "T" or "L" shaped rails for sliding the drawer or inward or outward through a separate piece in the form of a groove fixed to a surface. The "T" shaped rails have internal fasteners that snap onto the top edges of the side panels; the "L" shaped rail is attached to the wall of the side panel by repositionable adhesive.
Turning again to the template of fig. 1, the manner in which the drawers are assembled from the template is described. That is, if the central Panel (PC) and the fold lines (13, 14, 15, 16) at its ends are taken as references, first the left (PI) and right (PD) side panels are directed towards the centre of the respective attachment panel, and then the tabs (L1, L2, L3, L4) are directed towards the centre of the respective attachment panel. The next step is to fold the front (PF) and rear (PT) panels so that the tabs (L1, L2, L3, L4) are positioned to bear against the interior of the front (PF) and rear (PT) panels, and then fold the front and rear reinforcement panels downwardly so that the tabs (tab) are trapped between the front and rear panels and their respective reinforcement panels (PFR, PTR), the flanges (1, 2, 5, 6) of which are inserted into their respective security slots (F, G, B, C). Thus, the panels are securely connected in this manner and form a box having vertical bottoms and sides in a vertical position and demarcate space that can be used for orderly storage or preservation of items. The side reinforcement panels (PDR, PIR) must still be bent inwards with their respective flanges (3, 4, 7, 8) inserted into predetermined slots (H, A, D, E). The resulting drawer or cassette is reinforced, avoiding the need to use adhesive to secure the side or vertical side panels. The tabs (L1, L2, L3, L4) are formed as extensions of the left (PI) and right (PD) panels and rectangular cuts are made in the ends of said front and rear panels to form slots to obtain a set of slots (C1, C2, C3, C4) which allow to cooperate the bending of the tabs and the fixing of the vertical side panels to form the object, drawer or magazine of the invention.
Without loss of generality, the template can be perforated in different sizes according to the need of the space to be used, for example in the case of the intermediate size shown in fig. 2, it can be designed in a shorter and narrower size, with the same elements as the template in fig. 1, and with the same assembly process.
In the case of the narrower drawer or cassette of fig. 3, the front and rear panels have only one flange due to space and template requirements, so only one slot is required as a fastening element. For better illustration, a more specific need arises in the central areas of the central Panel (PC), the front Panel (PF) and the rear Panel (PT) and their respective stiffening panels. The form is elongated and leaves room for the mating slots (D, E, H, A) of the flanges of the left and right reinforcement panels; but due to the narrowness of this embodiment it has only one slot (F, B) at each end for joining the flanges of the front and rear reinforcing panels.
For the assembly of this narrow pattern of drawers or cases, similar to the assembly method of the template corresponding to fig. 1, in practice, the template is first bent upwards or towards the centre of the side panels (PI, PD) starting from the appropriate corresponding fold lines (15, 13), next the tabs (L1, L2, L3, L4) corresponding to the side panels are bent towards the centre and in a forward direction, next the front (PF) and rear (PT) side panels are bent upwards or forwards with them located behind the tabs, so that when the reinforcing panels (PRF, PRT) are bent, the tabs are clamped by the panels with their respective reinforcing panel flanges engaged in the slots located at each end of the central panel, the flanges (30) engaged in the slots (F), the flanges (31) engaged in the slots (B); continuing the assembly, the side reinforcing panels (PIR, PDR) are now bent so that the flanges on the end edges fit into the slots (D, E, H, A) of the central panel, thereby forming the drawer of the present invention, which in one of the preferred embodiments is suitable for small spaces due to the narrowness of the drawer.
Fig. 4 shows an exploded view of the "T" rail system and the drawer or object functioning as a drawer of the invention, said drawer consisting of a central Panel (PC) and four side panels, a left reinforcing Panel (PIR), a right Panel (PD), a front Panel (PF), a rear reinforcing Panel (PTR), the slide fastening system being relative, consisting of a groove (43) and a "T" rail (45); the guide consists of a horizontal plane and two parallel vertical faces with internal longitudinal ribs (44) defining a central space resembling a tuning fork, into which the upper edges of the left and right side plates are inserted. The guide rail (45) is introduced by applying pressure in a downward direction (46). The channel has a flat upper surface on which is located a double-sided adhesive tape (42) which is adhered to the upper surface of the channel and on the other side to the surface on which the drawer or sliding drawer is to be placed (400), thus enabling the drawer to be secured using a "T" shaped rail. The sliding is limited in direction (470) to hide or reach objects inside the drawer (400) with hole (P2) of fig. 4, which hole (P2) serves as a handle to allow manual sliding (400) to open or close the drawer. The upper edges (40, 41) of the front and rear panels, respectively, show the full thickness resulting from the folding of the outer and inner reinforcing panels in each vertical wall fixed to the central panel of the drawer (400).
Figure 5 depicts in an exploded view of a preferred embodiment a drawer (500) with a clamping and sliding system wherein the guide rails are of a right angle or "L" profile and the straight tubular channel is "U" shaped with a 90 ° angle, and double-sided adhesive tape (53) is located on the upper surface of the channel (52) for positioning, securing under a desk, table, shelf or any plane that allows for securing of the channel (52). For example, the guide rail (51) also has a double-sided adhesive tape (50) on the vertical inner surface, so as to be placed on the upper edge of the lateral stiffening panel and slide in the direction marked with the reference (53) and adhere it by pressure to the surface of the stiffening Panel (PIR) and the other, leaving the horizontal plane of the rail (51) free until it exceeds the plane defined by the right Plane (PD); in this way, the drawer (500) can be moved by sliding along the groove (52). The front Panel (PF) shows a circular central hole (P2) and this central hole (P2) passes through the front panel and the reinforcing panel, acting as a grip element to allow the entry of fingers and similar flukes to transmit the movement of the drawer as required. The upper edge (40) of the front panel and the upper edge (41) of the rear panel each show the full thickness resulting from the folding of the outer and inner reinforcing panels in each vertical wall fixed to the central panel of the drawer (500).
Fig. 6 corresponds to a one-piece template forming a package provided with slide rails to allow orderly storage of the products contained therein, the template comprising a plurality of panels extending around a central Panel (PC), with slots (A, H, 62, E, D, 63) at the edge of each side or each fold line (13, 14, 15, 16). Each side edge or each folding line is connected to a respective side panel (PI, PD) and to each of a front Panel (PF) and a rear Panel (PT), said front Panel (PF) and rear Panel (PT) defining a respective reinforcing panel extending beyond a pair of folding lines (140, 160), the pair of folding lines (140, 160) forming a ridge when said reinforcing panel (PFR, PTR) is folded. The reinforcement panels (PFR, PTR) have respective flanges (67, 64) at the distal ends, which are inserted by pressure in respective forms into slots (62, 63) of the central or bottom Panel (PC). In the vicinity of the fold lines (150) of the side panels, there are "L" -shaped guides attached by adhesion to each side reinforcing panel and used to slide the drawer or to slide the magazine in or out. The exterior is a separate component in the form of a channel secured to the wall; the "L" shaped rails are secured to the walls of the side reinforcing panels by repositionable adhesive.
Fig. 7 corresponds to a template forming a box comprising linear fixtures (SL1, SL2) on both sides thereof and two female molds (SLI1, SLI2, SLD1, SLD2) in each lateral extremity of the sides.
Fig. 8 shows a sliding system where the lid slides through various cutouts made on the sides (SL2) and front (SLI2) of the form.
Turning again to the template of fig. 6, the manner in which the drawers are assembled from the template is described. That is, if the central Panel (PC) and the fold lines (13, 14, 15, 16) at its ends are used as references, first the front Panel (PF) and the rear Panel (PT) are directed towards the centre of the respective attachment panel, and then the tabs (L1, L2, L3, L4) are directed towards the centre of the respective attachment panel. The next step is to fold the right (PD) and left (PI) panels with the tabs (L1, L2, L3, L4) positioned to bear against the interior of the right (PD) and left (PI) panels, and then fold the right and left reinforcement panels down so that the tabs are trapped between the right and left panels and their respective reinforcement panels (PDR, PIR), the flanges of the reinforcement panels being inserted into their respective security slots (A, H, D, E). Thus, the panels are securely connected in this manner and form a box having vertical bottoms and sides in a vertical position and demarcate space that can be used for orderly storage or preservation of items. The front reinforcement Panel (PFR) and the rear reinforcement Panel (PTR) must still be bent inward with their respective flanges (64, 67) inserted into predetermined insertion slots (63, 62). The flanges of the front and rear reinforcing panels are held in a folded condition at the central panel to provide additional reinforcement to the box. The resulting box or package is reinforced, avoiding the need to use adhesive to secure the side or vertical side panels. The tabs (L1, L2, L3, L4) are formed as extensions of the front (PF) and rear (PT) panels and rectangular cuts are made in the ends of said right and left panels to form a set of four grooves which allow to co-operate the bending of the tabs and the fixing of the vertical side panels to form the object box or pack of the invention.
Die cutting of different size forms can be performed according to the space requirement to be used without loss of generality, the assembly process being the same as described above.
