Description

Cabin door outer handle and cabin door outer handle assembly
Technical Field
The invention relates to a cabin door outer handle and a cabin door outer handle assembly, belonging to the improvement of the structure of an airplane cabin door outer handle and a handle groove.
Background
In the current aviation field, a gap of about 2-4mm exists between an outer handle of an airplane cabin door and a handle groove, mechanism elements such as a spring bushing of the outer handle of the cabin door are corroded by external environment (particularly rainwater) due to the existence of the gap, and when the outer handle of the cabin door is impacted by water flow splashed by an undercarriage, the handle of the cabin door can be opened passively.
The traditional cabin door outer handle does not adopt a sealing element to seal a gap between the handle and the handle groove, so that the problem that an internal mechanism is corroded by external environment exists, and the surface of the external handle groove internal mechanism is protected by adopting various protective measures in order to deal with the problem. Meanwhile, when the outer handle in the form is impacted by water flow splashed by the undercarriage in the handle area, the outer handle is flushed out of the handle groove by the water flow, and in order to deal with the problem, a mode of adding a handle lock outside the cabin door is adopted to prevent the handle from being separated from the handle groove, as shown in fig. 1. The outer handle 1 ' is connected with handle groove bottom hatch door lock mechanism through bolt and spring, and the outer handle is opened and needs to press the circular part top in handle centre of rotation earlier, makes it perk from handle groove 2 ', and then the twist grip opens hatch door lock mechanism, and handle lock mechanism 3 ' is fixed as an organic whole with handle spring bolt 4 ', and the spring bolt can rotate together with the handle lock, and handle lock mechanism 3 ' passes through bolted connection in the locked groove of handle groove. The handle 1 'is located in the handle slot 2' in the closed position of the door, and after the door is closed, the outside ground staff rotates the bolt 4 'to the handle slot position by rotating the outside handle lock mechanism 3', so that the outside handle is locked in the handle slot. Thus, when the landing gear is impacted by the splash water flow, the outer handle cannot be opened due to the difference between the internal pressure and the external pressure caused by the splash water flow in the handle groove. When the flight task is completed and the cabin door is opened, the handle locking machine 3' is unlocked, then the circular end part of the pressing handle is opened, the handle is made to rise out of the handle groove, then the handle is rotated to unlock the cabin door locking mechanism, and the cabin door is opened.
In patent publication CN109488131A, a door handle lock mechanism is disclosed, in which a crank is connected to a handle shaft of a door, the handle is fixedly connected to the crank, two crank connecting rods are provided on the crank near the door, a roller is provided at one end of one of the crank connecting rods, and a pin is provided at the other end of the crank connecting rod; a support is arranged on the cabin door fixing structure, a torsion spring is arranged on a rotating shaft at the end part of the support, and a pressure cover plate hinged with the cabin door is connected with the support through the torsion spring; a limiting seat is arranged at the position of the pressure cover plate corresponding to the roller, a locking groove with an opening at the lower part is arranged on the limiting seat, and when the cabin door is closed, the roller is positioned in the locking groove; the pressure cover plate is provided with a hook-shaped lock corresponding to the pin, the hook-shaped lock is provided with a limit groove which inclines upwards, and the pin is seated in the limit groove when the handle rotates and the cabin door is not opened. When the differential pressure load in the cabin is small, the handle may continue to rotate to the fully open state. When the pressure difference load of the cabin is overlarge, the movement of the handle is locked by the limiting groove and cannot continue to rotate, so that the aim of preventing the handle shaft 2 from continuing to rotate and triggering other mechanisms to open is fulfilled.
All of the above techniques require the use of a handle lock mechanism to prevent accidental opening of the handle due to internal and external pressure differentials, while not preventing water flow into the handle slot.

Detailed Description
The terminology used herein for the convenience of describing embodiments of the invention is set forth below.
Upper and outer: in this context, the upper and outer are in the same sense, i.e. towards the outer handle of the door, in a direction away from the door or the handle socket.
The present invention will be further described with reference to the accompanying drawings and examples, so that the inventive principles and advantageous effects of the present invention can be more clearly understood.
As shown in fig. 5, the hatch outer handle 1 is modified in accordance with the requirements of the present invention. The hatch outer handle 1 comprises a handle stem 12 for easy hand gripping and a handle seat 11 extending in connection therewith, i.e. the aforementioned prior art handle rotation centre circular portion. In order to omit the prior art handgrip lock mechanism which prevents the accidental opening of the door outer handle 1 due to pressure differences, the door outer handle 1 further comprises at least one cavity 13 formed in the upper part of the handle stem 12 and a grill layer 14 below the cavity 13, in the embodiment of fig. 5, two cavities 13 are formed, and a plurality of grill holes 14a are formed in the grill structure of the grill layer 14. A unidirectional sealing film 4 is overlaid on the grid layer 14, at least on the grid structure with grid holes 14a, to seal the grid holes 14a to form a unidirectional seal from the cavity 13 to the grid holes 14a in the grid layer 14. In this embodiment, a plurality of grill connection points 14b are formed on the upper surface of the grill structure between the grill holes 14a, and these grill connection points 14b have projecting pins formed on the upper surface of the grill structure, which are connected to the unidirectional sealing film 4 by mechanical connection, for example, housed in the unidirectional sealing film 4, so that the unidirectional sealing film 4 is fixed to the projecting pins, so that the unidirectional sealing film 4 is fitted on the upper surface of the grill layer 14, and the fluid in the cavity 13 cannot flow into the grill holes 14a of the grill layer 14. However, in such a mechanical connection, when the pressure in the grid holes 14a is greater than the pressure in the cavity 13, the pressure in the grid holes 14a causes the unidirectional sealing membrane 4 to be lifted outwardly towards the cavity 13 away from the grid layer 14, so that the grid holes 14a are in fluid communication with the cavity 13, i.e. the pressure in the grid holes 14a is released outwardly.
As shown in fig. 10, the mechanical connection between the grid layer 14 and the unidirectional sealing film 4 can also be implemented as follows: the one-way sealing membrane 4 is secured to the grid attachment points 14b of the grid layer 14 by fasteners 9, such as pins or nails, and these grid attachment points 14b may or may not have pins.
Preferably, in order to further enhance the sealing effect, the lattice structure of the lattice layer 14 having the lattice holes 14a is configured as protruded sealing bosses 14c, whereby a sealing flange completely surrounding the lattice hole 14a is formed at the periphery of each lattice hole 14a, and a recess lower than the sealing boss 14c is formed at the outer periphery of the lattice structure having the lattice holes 14a, and the one-way sealing film 4 abuts on the sealing bosses 14c of the lattice layer 14 when the one-way sealing film 4 is fixed on the lattice connection point 14 b. When the handle is subjected to outside pressure, the one-way sealing film 4 is pressed against the sealing boss 14c by the outside pressure, thereby improving the one-way sealability of the one-way sealing film 4.
The sealing structure of the unidirectional sealing film 4 sealed to the grating layer 14 may also have other forms, for example, a grating structure having grating holes 14a formed only on the periphery thereof with a flange.
As shown in fig. 2, the door outer handle 1 is accommodated in a handle pocket 5 to constitute the door outer handle assembly of the present invention, and the handle pocket 5 is an assembly of a portion of the aircraft door accommodating the door outer handle 1. Thus, in addition to the hatch outer handle 1, the hatch outer handle assembly of the invention comprises a handle socket 5 accommodating the hatch outer handle 1. As shown in fig. 3 and 4, the handle slot receptacle 5 comprises a handle slot 51, a slot side wall 52 and a slot bottom wall 53 constituting the handle slot 51, and a slot receptacle surface 54 at an outer surface of the handle slot receptacle 5, the hatch outer handle 1 being received in the handle slot 51 such that a gap 7 is formed between the hatch outer handle 1 and the slot side wall 52, and a gap 8 is formed between the hatch outer handle 1 and the slot bottom wall 53.
In order to seal the gap 7, the hatch outer handle assembly further comprises a handle seal cover 3 fixed to the hatch outer handle 1 and a handle groove seal 2 fixed to the periphery of the handle seat 11, as shown in fig. 2.
As shown in fig. 3, 4 and 7, the handle sealing cover 3 is fixed on the upper surface of the hatch outer handle 1 and includes a cover main body 30 and a cover sealing ring 34. As shown in fig. 7, the cover main body 30 includes a plurality of cover through holes 33 and an integrated cover bar part 32 corresponding to the handle bar part 12 and a cover seat part 31 corresponding to a portion of the handle seat part 11, the cover through holes 33 being formed in the cover bar part 32 corresponding to the cavity 13 of the hatch outer handle 1. The cover seal 34 projects outwardly from the cover body 30 around the periphery of the cover body 30 to seal a first gap section 71 of the gap 7 corresponding to the handle seal cover 3, i.e. between the cover body 30 and the groove side wall 52. The cap body 30 is preferably a clad laminate, in which a laminate layer having a certain rigidity is provided in the middle and a silicone rubber layer is coated on the outside of the laminate layer. The cover seal 34 is a silicone rubber ring extending from the silicone rubber layer of the clad laminate to form a single ring of silicone rubber ring around the cover body 30. At least the outer edge part of the cover plate sealing ring 34 is a circular section protrusion which is easy to deform, so that the cover plate sealing ring 34 can be conveniently embedded into the first gap section 71, and when the handle is stored into the handle groove 51, the gap can be effectively sealed.
As shown in fig. 2, 4 and 6, the handle groove seal 2 is secured to the groove seat surface 54 of the handle groove seat 5 and includes a seal body 20 and a seal ring 24, and in the illustrated embodiment, the handle groove seal 2 is secured to the skin 6. In order to seal the gap 7, a portion of the outer edge of the seal body 20 facing the handle seat 11 forms an engagement edge 22, the shape of the engagement edge 22 corresponding to the shape of a second gap section 72 in the gap 7, excluding the first gap section 71. The second slit section 72 refers to a slit around a portion of the handle seat 11 in the slit 7 that is not sealed by the cover seal ring 34, and as shown in fig. 2, the second slit section 72 is a slit around one half of the handle seat 11. Seal ring 24 projects outwardly from seal body 20 about engagement edge 22 of seal body 20 to seal against second gap segment 72, as shown in FIG. 6. The seal body 20 is preferably a clad laminate with a rigid laminate layer in the middle and a silicone rubber layer on the outside. The seal sealing ring 24 is a silicone rubber ring extending from the silicone rubber layer of the clad laminate to form a ring around the engagement edge 22 of the seal body 20 to engage with the outer edge of the portion of the handle socket 11 not covered by the handle sealing cover 3 when the handle is received in the handle groove 51 for sealing the surrounding second gap section 72.
As shown in fig. 5, the half part of the outer end of the handle seat 11 of the hatch outer handle 1 protrudes upwards relative to the rest of the hatch outer handle 1, forming a protruding platform. The configuration of the hatch outer handle 1 is such that the outer surface of the handle sealing cover 3, the pocket surface 54 and the outer surface of the outer half of the handle seating 11 are flush with each other or in the same plane, the pocket surface 54 in the embodiment shown being the surface of the skin 6, as shown in fig. 4. At the moment, the handle groove sealing piece 2 is attached to the skin 6, and the handle sealing cover plate 3 is attached to the cabin door outer handle 1. The attachment of the handle slot seal 2 is achieved by fixing the seal body 20 of the handle slot seal 2 to the hatch outer handle 1 with a plurality of fasteners and the attachment of the handle seal cover 3 is achieved by fixing the cover body 30 of the handle seal cover 3 to the skin 6 with a plurality of fasteners.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, after the hatch outer handle 1 is received in the handle groove 51, there is a gap 8 between the handle and the groove bottom wall 53, and when the pressure in the gap 8 is greater than the pressure outside the handle sealing cover 3, the pressure in the gap 8 is released through the grid holes 14a and the cover through holes. Therefore, in order to facilitate the pressure release in the handle slot 51, it is preferable to have the cover plate through hole 33 correspond to the grill hole 14a in the grill layer 14 of the hatch outer handle 1.
