Background
In modern data centers, as the social demand for information quantity and computing capacity increases, the number of servers in a data center room also increases explosively, and the number of load balancing devices also increases greatly as the number of servers increases. At present, a large data center has tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of servers, and the servers often move due to service changes, so that the load balancing equipment moves along with the servers. Therefore, the searching process of the user, the operation and maintenance personnel and the asset management personnel of the data center for the specified equipment is very complicated.
The current mainstream means of device location and management mainly relies on IP address-location association, indicator lights, etc.
Disadvantages of using IP address-location associations: the IP and the position need to be determined in advance, and then the prestored data need to be changed when the machine or the IP changes, so that the implementation difficulty is high in the actual operation.
Disadvantages of using indicator lights: when the capacity of the server in the computer room is large, the locating of the flashing UID (unique identification) lamp is long, the speed is low, and the efficiency is low.
Therefore, a method for quickly positioning and searching load balancing equipment becomes an urgent problem to be solved.

and step 3: by a GPIO chip driving program, firstly, the backlight of the liquid crystal display screen is turned on, the backlight of the liquid crystal display screen is turned off after one second, and the backlight is turned on again after one second, so that the visual phenomenon of backlight flickering is caused;
and 4, step 4: through a GPIO chip driving program, firstly, an LED indicating lamp is turned on, the LED indicating lamp is turned off after one second, and the LED indicating lamp is turned on again after one second, so that the phenomenon of flickering of the LED indicating lamp is caused;
and 5: repeating the steps 2-4, continuously operating until the timer does not expire, simultaneously, roughly positioning the equipment direction and the machine frame where the equipment is positioned by the operator to the machine room according to the sound, and then accurately positioning the load balancing equipment according to the liquid crystal backlight and the panel indicator lamp flickering;
step 6: when the timer times out, the entire positioning process ends.
As an improvement, the length of the timeout time of the timer is configured and specified when a command is input.
As an improvement, the buzzer on the load balancing device is built in the micro speaker on the device mainboard, and a piezoelectric type is adopted.
As an improvement, the LED lamp is solidified on the bracket by adopting silver glue or white glue, then the chip and the circuit board are connected by silver wires or gold wires, and the periphery of the LED lamp is sealed by epoxy resin.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the advantages that: the invention utilizes the convenience and high efficiency of sound positioning to quickly position the approximate position of the load balancing equipment, and the equipment is quickly and accurately positioned in cooperation with the flickering of the liquid crystal backlight and the indicator lamp; the buzzer, the liquid crystal display and the LED indicator lamps are all original necessary functional hardware of the load balancing equipment, the buzzer provides indication sound when the equipment is started, the liquid crystal display displays relevant information of the equipment, and the LED indicator lamps indicate the main state and the standby state of the equipment, so that hardware does not need to be additionally added, the function of searching the position of the equipment is efficiently completed, and the hardware cost is saved.
Drawings
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for fast location and search of load balancing equipment according to the present invention.
Detailed Description
The following describes a method for fast location and search of load balancing equipment in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
The working principle of the invention is as follows: the buzzer is a signal device for generating sound, and has a mechanical type, an electromechanical type and a piezoelectric type, and the buzzer on the load balancing equipment is mainly a micro loudspeaker built in a mainboard of the equipment and adopts the piezoelectric type.
To control the buzzer, a driving square wave signal is generated through a timer, and then an I/O (input/output) enabling signal is controlled to drive the buzzer to work.
The backlight liquid crystal display screen is a screen which mainly uses light emitted by a backlight source as a light source and then transmits or reflects the light on a liquid crystal molecular layer to form an image. The front panel of the load balancing device typically has such a backlight lcd for displaying system related information. The backlight is controlled by a GPIO (general purpose input/output) chip.
The LED lamp is an electroluminescent semiconductor material chip, silver glue or white glue is solidified on the support, then the chip and the circuit board are connected through silver wires or gold wires, the periphery of the chip and the circuit board is sealed through epoxy resin, the effect of protecting an inner core wire is achieved, and finally the shell is installed. The front panel of the load balancing device typically has a plurality of LED lights to indicate the operating condition of the system. The LED lamp is controlled to be switched on and off through the GPIO chip.
The present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 1.
