Abstract
The invention provides a method and a device for resetting an edge computing server, wherein the method comprises the following steps: acquiring a monitoring state of a preset parameter of the edge computing server and comparing the monitoring state with a threshold value; responding to the monitoring state being larger than the threshold value, and judging whether the edge computing server is connected to the network or not; and in response to the edge computing server not being connected to the network, executing a preset reset strategy to reset the edge computing server. By using the scheme of the invention, the edge computing server system can be reset under the condition of continuous unmanned monitoring or no network, the integral deployment architecture technology of the edge computing server can be further perfected, and the product competitiveness is improved.
Description
Technical Field
The field relates to the field of computers, and more particularly to a method and apparatus for edge computing server reset.
Background
Edge Computing (Edge Computing) is relative to cloud Computing, and means that the act of collecting and analyzing data occurs in local devices and networks close to data generation, rather than having to transmit the data to a cloud with centralized Computing resources for processing. In popular terms, edge computing is decentralized or distributed cloud computing, and raw data is not returned to the cloud end, but is analyzed and processed locally. In view of the above object, an aspect of the embodiments of the present invention provides a method for resetting an edge computing server, including the following steps:
acquiring a monitoring state of a preset parameter of the edge computing server and comparing the monitoring state with a threshold value;
responding to the monitoring state being larger than the threshold value, and judging whether the edge computing server is connected to the network or not;
and in response to the edge computing server not being connected to the network, executing a preset reset strategy to reset the edge computing server.
According to an embodiment of the present invention, further comprising:
and responding to the connection of the edge computing server to the network, sending the monitoring state to the cloud server through the network, and acquiring a corresponding reset strategy from the cloud server based on the monitoring state.

respectively acquiring the CPU utilization rate, the memory utilization rate, the system temperature and the system voltage of an edge computing server;
and comparing the acquired CPU utilization rate, memory utilization rate, system temperature and system voltage with a CPU utilization rate threshold value, a memory utilization rate threshold value, a system temperature threshold value and a system voltage fluctuation threshold value respectively.
According to one embodiment of the present invention, determining whether the edge computing server is connected to the network in response to the monitored status being greater than the threshold comprises:
in response to the CPU utilization exceeding a CPU utilization threshold and the memory utilization exceeding a memory utilization threshold, determining the duration of the exceeding threshold condition and acquiring the maximum value of the CPU utilization and the memory utilization within the duration;
and in response to the duration of the exceeding threshold condition exceeding a time threshold or one of the maximum values of the CPU utilization rate and the memory utilization rate exceeding a reset threshold, judging whether the edge computing server is connected to the network.
According to one embodiment of the invention, in response to the edge computing server not being connected to the network, executing the preset reset policy to reset the edge computing server comprises:
recording the calculation being executed and the running software of the edge calculation server;
forcibly restarting the edge computing server;
in response to the completion of the restart, restoring the edge computing server to an operating state before the restart based on the record and judging whether the edge computing server is connected to the network;
and responding to the connection of the edge computing server to the network, and sending the recording and monitoring state to the cloud server for analysis.
In another aspect of the embodiments of the present invention, there is also provided an apparatus for resetting an edge computing server, the apparatus including:
the comparison module is configured to acquire a monitoring state of a preset parameter of the edge calculation server and compare the monitoring state with a threshold value;

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the following embodiments of the present invention are described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
In view of the above objects, a first aspect of embodiments of the present invention proposes an embodiment of a method for edge computing server reset. Fig. 1 shows a schematic flow diagram of the method.
As shown in fig. 1, the method may include the steps of:
s1 obtains the monitoring status of the preset parameter of the edge computing server and compares the monitoring status with a threshold, where any management software in the system may be used to obtain data of the system parameter, and the obtained parameter is compared with the set threshold to determine whether the status of the edge computing server needs to be reset;

In some embodiments, a response time may also be set, and if the cloud server does not provide a corresponding policy within the response time, the edge computing server may process the policy according to a situation that the current network is not available. In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the obtaining a monitoring status of a preset parameter of the edge computing server and comparing the monitoring status with a threshold value includes:
respectively acquiring the CPU utilization rate, the memory utilization rate, the system temperature and the system voltage of an edge computing server;
and comparing the acquired CPU utilization rate, memory utilization rate, system temperature and system voltage with a CPU utilization rate threshold value, a memory utilization rate threshold value, a system temperature threshold value and a system voltage fluctuation threshold value respectively. The CPU utilization may be GPU utilization or ASIC (application specific integrated circuit) utilization, and appropriate parameters may be selected according to the system of the edge computing server. In some embodiments, the MCU (micro controller) of the system may also be used to monitor the temperature, usage, voltage fluctuation, etc. status of each device of the system, and if the temperature or usage or voltage fluctuation of a single device exceeds the threshold of that device, the edge computing server may directly cause that device to be down-clocked or restarted.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, determining whether the edge computing server is connected to the network in response to the monitored status being greater than the threshold comprises:
in response to the CPU utilization exceeding a CPU utilization threshold and the memory utilization exceeding a memory utilization threshold, determining the duration of the exceeding threshold condition and acquiring the maximum value of the CPU utilization and the memory utilization within the duration;
and in response to the duration of the exceeding threshold condition exceeding a time threshold or one of the maximum values of the CPU utilization rate and the memory utilization rate exceeding a reset threshold, judging whether the edge computing server is connected to the network. The thresholds of the two parameters are set to 90%, if the two parameters exceed the thresholds at the same time, the duration of the exceeding of the thresholds needs to be monitored, if the two parameters exceed the thresholds at the same time, the server needs to be reset, if the two parameters exceed the thresholds at the same time, the duration of the exceeding of the thresholds needs to be monitored exceeds 12 hours, meanwhile, the maximum value of the utilization rate within the 12 hours needs to be monitored, for example, the maximum value of the utilization rate is set to 95%, and if the two parameters exceed 95% at the same time during the 12 hours, the server needs to be reset is directly judged. The server also needs to be reset when the temperature of the system exceeds the set temperature threshold duration, and the server also needs to be reset when the voltage fluctuation of the system exceeds the set voltage fluctuation threshold.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, in response to the edge computing server not being connected to the network, executing the preset reset policy to reset the edge computing server comprises:
recording the calculation being executed and the running software of the edge calculation server;
forcibly restarting the edge computing server;
in response to the completion of the restart, restoring the edge computing server to an operating state before the restart based on the record and judging whether the edge computing server is connected to the network;
and responding to the connection of the edge computing server to the network, and sending the recording and monitoring state to the cloud server for analysis. The method comprises the steps of recording the state of a current server and the acquired information of a monitoring state before restarting an edge computing server, recovering the state to the state before restarting after restarting, and then packaging and sending various recorded parameter information to a cloud server for analysis when a network is smooth. The cloud server can modify a preset reset strategy in the edge computing server according to the result of the multiple analyses.
By the technical scheme of the invention, the edge computing server system can be reset under the condition of continuous unmanned monitoring or no network, the overall deployment architecture technology of the edge computing server can be further perfected, and the product competitiveness is improved.
It should be noted that, as will be understood by those skilled in the art, all or part of the processes in the methods of the above embodiments may be implemented by instructing relevant hardware through a computer program, and the above programs may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium, and when executed, the programs may include the processes of the embodiments of the methods as described above. The storage medium may be a magnetic disk, an optical disk, a Read-Only Memory (ROM), a Random Access Memory (RAM), or the like. The embodiments of the computer program may achieve the same or similar effects as any of the above-described method embodiments.
Furthermore, the method disclosed according to an embodiment of the present invention may also be implemented as a computer program executed by a CPU, and the computer program may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium. The computer program, when executed by the CPU, performs the above-described functions defined in the method disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention.
In view of the above object, according to a second aspect of the embodiments of the present invention, there is provided an apparatus for resetting an edge computing server, as shown in fig. 2, the apparatus 200 includes:
the comparison module is configured to acquire a monitoring state of a preset parameter of the edge calculation server and compare the monitoring state with a threshold value;
the judging module is configured to respond to the monitoring state being larger than the threshold value and judge whether the edge computing server is connected to the network or not;
and the execution module is configured to execute a preset reset strategy to reset the edge computing server in response to the fact that the edge computing server is not connected to the network.
In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the system further includes an obtaining module, and the obtaining module is configured to:

1. A method for edge computing server reset, comprising the steps of:
acquiring a monitoring state of a preset parameter of the edge computing server and comparing the monitoring state with a threshold value;
in response to the monitored status being greater than the threshold, determining whether the edge computing server is connected to a network;
and in response to the edge computing server not being connected to the network, executing a preset reset strategy to reset the edge computing server.
2. The method of claim 1, further comprising:
in response to the edge computing server being connected to a network, sending the monitoring status into a cloud server via the network and obtaining a corresponding reset policy from the cloud server based on the monitoring status.
3. The method of claim 1, wherein obtaining a monitoring status of a preset parameter of the edge computing server and comparing the monitoring status to a threshold comprises:
respectively acquiring the CPU utilization rate, the memory utilization rate, the system temperature and the system voltage of the edge computing server;
and comparing the acquired CPU utilization rate, memory utilization rate, system temperature and system voltage with a CPU utilization rate threshold value, a memory utilization rate threshold value, a system temperature threshold value and a system voltage fluctuation threshold value respectively.
4. The method of claim 3, wherein determining whether the edge compute server is connected to a network in response to the monitored status being greater than the threshold comprises:
in response to the CPU utilization exceeding the CPU utilization threshold and the memory utilization exceeding the memory utilization threshold, determining the duration of the exceeding threshold condition and obtaining the maximum value of the CPU utilization and the memory utilization within the duration;
and in response to the duration of the exceeding threshold condition exceeding a time threshold or one of the maximum values of the CPU utilization rate and the memory utilization rate exceeding a reset threshold, judging whether the edge computing server is connected to the network.
5. The method of claim 1, wherein in response to the edge computing server not being connected to a network, implementing a preset reset policy to reset the edge computing server comprises:
recording the calculation being executed and the running software of the edge calculation server;
forcibly restarting the edge computing server;
in response to the completion of the restart, restoring the edge computing server to a running state before the restart based on the record and judging whether the edge computing server is connected to a network;
and responding to the connection of the edge computing server to a network, and sending the record and the monitoring state to a cloud server for analysis.
6. An apparatus for edge computing server reset, the apparatus comprising:
the comparison module is configured to acquire a monitoring state of a preset parameter of the edge computing server and compare the monitoring state with a threshold value;
a determination module configured to determine whether the edge computing server is connected to a network in response to the monitored status being greater than the threshold;
an execution module configured to execute a preset reset policy to reset the edge compute server in response to the edge compute server not being connected to a network.
7. The device of claim 6, further comprising an acquisition module configured to:
in response to the edge computing server being connected to a network, sending the monitoring status into a cloud server via the network and obtaining a corresponding reset policy from the cloud server based on the monitoring status.
8. The device of claim 6, wherein the comparison module is further configured to:
respectively acquiring the CPU utilization rate, the memory utilization rate, the system temperature and the system voltage of the edge computing server;
and comparing the acquired CPU utilization rate, memory utilization rate, system temperature and system voltage with a CPU utilization rate threshold value, a memory utilization rate threshold value, a system temperature threshold value and a system voltage fluctuation threshold value respectively.
9. The device of claim 8, wherein the determination module is further configured to:
in response to the CPU utilization exceeding the CPU utilization threshold and the memory utilization exceeding the memory utilization threshold, determining the duration of the exceeding threshold condition and obtaining the maximum value of the CPU utilization and the memory utilization within the duration;
and in response to the duration of the exceeding threshold condition exceeding a time threshold or one of the maximum values of the CPU utilization rate and the memory utilization rate exceeding a reset threshold, judging whether the edge computing server is connected to the network.
10. The device of claim 6, wherein the execution module is further configured to:
recording the calculation being executed and the running software of the edge calculation server;
forcibly restarting the edge computing server;
in response to the completion of the restart, restoring the edge computing server to a running state before the restart based on the record and judging whether the edge computing server is connected to a network;
and responding to the connection of the edge computing server to a network, and sending the record and the monitoring state to a cloud server for analysis.
