Description

Appliance for treating knee osteoarthritis
Technical Field
The invention relates to an appliance for limb rehabilitation, in particular to an appliance for knee osteoarthritis rehabilitation.
Background
When the limbs of a person with normal limbs are upright and closed, the two thighs are closed to the midline. When viewed from the front, the inner sides of the two knee joints can be contacted, the two shanks are slightly inclined outwards, and the two ankle joints can be closed together. The trunk is on a straight line with the thigh and the shank when viewed from the side, and the gravity center falls on the center of the ankle joint from the hip joint through the back of the knee joint. In the horizontal position, a line is connected between the anterior superior iliac spine of the pelvis and the first and second toes of the foot, and the line just bisects the patella internally and externally. The straight line is a normal lower limb force line, the normal lower limb force line can ensure that the two lower limbs bear very proper force, so that all joints move coordinately and are not easy to fatigue and damage, which is the natural environment endowing humanity.
Measurement of normal lower limb force line: "the anterior superior iliac spine and the center of the patella and the webs between the 1 st and 2 nd digits of the ilium are on a straight line" - - - - - -Tangjia & lt & gt & ltorthopedics clinical measurement & gt, Anhui scientific Press 2002.
Knee osteoarthritis is caused by the deviation and failure of the fit between the lower limb force line of a patient and the normal lower limb force line due to various causes.
There are many orthoses in the prior art that correct and treat a patient's abnormal lower limb line of force by applying pressure laterally to the patient's knee (e.g., laterally outward from the medial side of the knee for an "X" leg patient and inward from the lateral side of the knee for an "o" leg patient).
Generally, the orthosis comprises a thigh guard plate, a shank guard plate, a orthosis plate connected between the thigh guard plate and the shank guard plate, and a strap for fixing the thigh guard plate and the shank guard plate on the thigh and the shank, respectively.
The prior art orthotics have the following disadvantages:
1) the distance between the thigh guard plate and the shank guard plate is of a fixed structure, so that the height group suitable for the thigh guard plate is limited.
2) The binding belt buckle is a rigid body, cannot be better attached to a human body, and causes discomfort for a user.
3) The straps are laid flat and unfolded to form a straight line, which shape does not meet the ergonomic requirements, i.e. the orthosis is easy to slide downwards after the user has moved.
4) The thigh guard plate and the shank guard plate are fixed on the leg only by the binding belt, the pressing area of the binding belt on the leg is too narrow, and the blood supply of the pressed part is insufficient after long-term wearing.
5) The product is not breathable, and the user feels local sultry and may suffer from skin diseases after wearing the product for a long time.

Detailed Description
As shown in figures 1-5, the orthosis 7 for treating knee osteoarthritis according to the present invention comprises a thigh guard 1, a thigh lining pad 13, a calf guard 2, a calf lining pad 23, a orthosis plate 5 connected between the thigh guard 1 and the calf guard 2 for applying a laterally adjustable pressure to a knee joint, an adjusting member for adjusting the distance between the orthosis plate 5 and the thigh guard 1 and the calf guard 2, and a strap 3.
The invention will be described in detail below, taking as an example the orthosis 7 for the treatment of leg wearing o.
Thigh guard plate 1 and shank guard plate 2
1. The thigh shield 1 and the shank shield 2 are made of a plastic material, are rigid and high-strength rigid plates, and preferably consist of a rigid shell and an inner pad of an elastomer.
The preferred surface shell is prepared by mixing, blending and injection molding LDPE (Chinese name: low density polyethylene (also called high pressure polyethylene)) and EVA (Chinese name: ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer), wherein the components of the preferred surface shell are 80% of LDPE and 20% of EVA according to weight ratio.
In the orthosis 7, the thigh guard plate 1 and the calf guard plate 2 are positioning base points for orthosis, and the pressure of the orthosis plate 5 on the knee joint is achieved by adjusting the angle between the orthosis plate 5 and the connecting line between the thigh guard plate 1 and the calf guard plate 2, so that the rigidity of the thigh guard plate 1 and the calf guard plate 2 is particularly important once positioned. However, because the protective plate is tied on the thigh and the calf, under the tightening of the binding band 3, the protective plate should have elasticity capable of being properly deformed in the leg circumference direction, and the elasticity is suitable for the whole protective plate to be tightly attached to the skin of the thigh or the calf, namely, the protective plate can be attached to the human body along with different leg shapes. The strength means that it is strong against excessive deformation and breakage.
2. Thigh guard board 1
The upper thigh support 11 and the lower thigh support 12 are integrated, and the upper thigh support 11 is wider than the lower thigh support 12.
The upper thigh support 11 has a two-segment arc shape (see fig. 5 a), and when it is applied to the thigh, its middle portion is closely attached to the extrafemoral muscle on the outer side of the thigh, and its front and rear ends extend toward the front and rear sides of the thigh, respectively.
The radius of the arc line of the front side part of the thigh upper bracket 11 along the leg circumference direction is 100-120mm and the radius of the arc line of the rear side part along the leg circumference direction is 80-90mm, with the upward extension line of the perpendicular bisector of the straightening plate 5 as a boundary. According to the principle of ergonomics, the upper thigh support 11 is basically suitable for most people, when the upper thigh support is tied on the thigh, the bending degree of the upper thigh support is matched with the bending degree of the outer side of the thigh in the leg circumference direction, namely, the upper thigh support is basically clung to the skin of the thigh, and the structure can improve the wearing comfort of a patient.
The front side end of the upper thigh support 11 is provided with a buckle position 32 which is provided with a binding buckle 33 and is recessed inwards, the rear side end is provided with a binding band fastening ring 31, the binding band fastening ring 31 at the rear side end is inclined towards the perpendicular bisector direction of the correction plate 5 from top to bottom, the structure can make the binding band 3 tightly attached to the leg circumference, and the slipping of the binding band 3 can be effectively prevented.
The under-thigh support 12 has an inverted trapezoidal shape with an inner surface curved substantially in accordance with the upper thigh support 11, a buckle portion 32 provided at a front side end of the under-thigh support 12 and having a buckle portion 33 for attaching the front end of the strap 3 thereto and recessed inward, and a strap fastening ring 31 provided at a rear side end thereof for attaching the rear end of the strap 3 thereto, the strap fastening ring 31 of the rear side end being parallel to the strap fastening ring 31 of the rear side end of the upper thigh support 11. The benefits of this construction are the same as those of the strap tie ring 31 on the upper thigh brace 11.
A plurality of ventilation holes 4 (which can be arranged on the face shell) are arranged on the upper thigh support 11, a plurality of mutually communicated ventilation grooves 41 (which can be arranged on the inner cushion of the elastic body) are arranged on the inner surfaces of the upper thigh support 11 and the lower thigh support 12, and the ventilation grooves 41 are communicated with the ventilation holes 4 on the upper thigh support 11 (see fig. 6). The product is good in ventilation and more suitable for long-time wearing.
The thigh guard 1 of the present invention has a double-strap 3 structure which can better fix the thigh guard 1 to the leg.
In order to improve the comfort of the patient wearing the orthosis 7 and to prevent blood flow from being obstructed due to excessive local pressure on the legs after the straps 3 are tightened too much, an elastic and hard thigh lining pad 13 (provided with holes for allowing the straps 3 to pass through) is provided on the opposite side of the thigh guard plate 1, preferably a base plate made of plastic material is provided, and then a comfortable flexible lining is provided on the base plate. The pad is placed against the rectus femoris and the medial femoral muscles of the inner thigh.
By adding the thigh lining pad 13, the pressure of the binding band 3 is dispersed, and the user can bind more tightly, thereby increasing the orthopedic strength.
3. Shank guard board 2
The upper leg support 21 and the lower leg support 22 are integrated, the rear side of the upper leg support 21 is longer than the lower leg support 22 and extends towards the rear of the leg circumference, and the front side edge of the upper leg support 21 and the front side edge of the lower leg support 22 are basically positioned on a vertical line.
The upper leg support 21 is in the shape of a double arc (see figure 5 b) which, when applied to the lower leg, fits snugly against the gastrocnemius and gastrocnemius muscles on the outside of the lower leg.
The radius of the arc line of the front side part of the bracket 21 on the lower leg along the leg circumference direction is 65-80mm, and the radius of the arc line of the rear side part along the leg circumference direction is 60-75mm by taking the downward extension line of the perpendicular bisector of the straightening plate 5 as a boundary. According to the principle of ergonomics, the design can ensure that the upper bracket 21 of the lower leg is basically suitable for most people, when the upper bracket is tied on the lower leg, the bending degree of the upper bracket is more consistent with the bending degree of the leg circumference direction at the outer side of the lower leg, namely the upper bracket is basically clung to the skin of the lower leg, and the structure can improve the wearing comfort of a patient.
The front side end of the upper bracket 21 of the lower leg is provided with a buckle position 32 which is provided with a binding buckle 33 and is recessed inwards, the rear side end of the upper bracket is provided with a binding belt fastening ring 31 (used for fastening the rear end of the binding belt 3 thereon), the binding belt fastening ring 31 at the rear side end is basically vertically arranged, the structure can lead the binding belt 3 to be tightly bound on the leg circumference, and the slip-off of the binding belt 3 can be effectively prevented.
The curvature of the inner surface of the lower leg support 22 is substantially the same as that of the upper leg support 21, a buckle 32 for attaching a strap buckle 33 (for fixing the front end of the strap 3 thereto) is provided at the front side end of the lower leg support 22 and is recessed inward, a strap fastening ring 31 is provided at the rear side end thereof, and the strap fastening ring 31 at the rear side end is inclined from the top to the bottom in the direction of the perpendicular line of the leveling plate 5. The benefits of this construction are the same as those of the strap tie ring 31 on the upper leg brace 21.
Similarly, a plurality of ventilation holes 4 are arranged on the upper crus support 21, a plurality of mutually communicated ventilation grooves 41 are arranged on the inner surfaces of the upper crus support 21 and the lower crus support 22, and the ventilation grooves 41 are communicated with the ventilation holes 4 on the upper crus support 21 (see fig. 6).
The calf guard 2 of the present invention has a double strap 3 construction which better secures the calf guard 2 to the leg.
Similarly, an elastic and hard lower leg insert pad 23 is provided on the opposite side of the lower leg shield 2, and its structure, material and function are the same as those of the upper leg insert pad 13. The pad is tightly attached to the gastrocnemius muscle on the inner side of the lower leg.
Secondly, the binding band 3 and the binding band buckle 33
1. Binding band 3
According to the principle of ergonomics, in order to enable the binding belt 3 to be tightly tied on the leg and prevent the thigh protection plate 1 and the shank protection plate 2 from sliding downwards in the process of rehabilitation activities of a patient, the shape of the binding belt 3 is designed as follows:
1) the straps 3 provided to the upper thigh brace 11, the lower thigh brace 12 and the lower leg brace 22 are in the form of arc-shaped bands with the middle higher than the two ends after being spread flat (to take off the orthographic projection of the spread from the leg).
2) Bandage 3 of configuration for shank upper bracket 21 is the middle arc area that is less than both ends after the tiling expandes, utilizes the anti-slant of human shank gastrocnemius, and the anti-oblique position of 2 laminating of shank backplate, 3 holes in bandage accord with the inclination design to design 3D tailors bandage 3, more laminates the human body.
The shape is matched with the shape of the leg circumference at the position of the binding band 3, so that the binding band can be closely attached to the leg part in a matched manner and is not easy to slide downwards in the moving process.
The width of the band 3 of the present invention is preferably 20 to 40 mm.
2. Strap fastener 33
As shown in fig. 8, the buckle position 32 at the front side end of the upper thigh support, the lower thigh support, the upper calf support and the lower calf support is provided with a strap buckle 33 with the same structure, and a buckle ring 333 of the strap buckle 33 can deflect up and down by 45 degrees within a vertical arc plane where the corresponding guard plate (i.e. the thigh guard plate 1, the lower calf guard plate 2, the same below) is located; meanwhile, the retaining ring 333 can deflect 180 degrees from front to back on the outer side of the corresponding guard plate, and the binding buckle 33 is composed of a retaining plate 331, a lock 332 and the retaining ring 333, and the specific structure is as follows:
1) buckle 331
The buckle plate 331 is embedded in the buckle position 32, the front side edge of the buckle plate 331 is hinged with the front side edge of the buckle position 32, the lock catch 332 is arranged at the rear part of the buckle plate 331, and the buckle plate 331 is turned from inside to outside or from outside to inside by taking the hinged edge as an axis.
2) Lock catch 332
The lock catch 332 is composed of a lock tongue 3321 and a lock tongue shifting member 3322, and correspondingly, a lock catch is arranged at the rear side edge of the fastening position 32, so that when the buckle plate 331 is pressed into the fastening position 32, the lock tongue 3321 is clamped by the lock catch, and thus, the buckle plate 331 is completely locked in the fastening position 32. When the buckle plate 331 needs to be opened, the lock tongue shifting piece 3322 is pulled forward, so that the lock tongue 3321 can be disengaged from the lock catch, and the buckle plate 331 is turned outwards.
3) Retaining ring 333
The buckle 333 is divided into a collar 3331 and a shank 3332, the collar 3331 is used to fix the front end of the strap 3 thereto, the front end of the shank 3332 is connected to the collar 3331, and the rear end of the shank 3332 is movably disposed in a movable groove provided on the front portion of the buckle 331.
