The first bevel gear 22 drives the ball screw 39 to rotate through the second bevel gear 40, the connecting bar 41 and the telescopic rod 42 drive the baffle 43 to move, and the baffle 43 drives the protection plate 44 to slide in the sliding groove 45.
When the punch moves downwards, the baffle 43 drives the protection plate 44 to move, so that the arm of a worker can be pushed out of a working area before the punch moves to the lower die holder, and the protection plate 44 is opened to prevent the waste materials from splashing, so that the worker is prevented from being injured by the splashed waste materials; when the punch is moved upwards, the shutter 43 and the guard 44 are reset. The device can be arranged on a punching machine through a bracket, and also can be directly arranged on the punching machine.
