Abstract

The invention provides an aqueous color paste for plastic coloring. The aqueous color paste for plastic coloring comprises the following raw materials: toner, resin carrier, wetting dispersant, humectant, defoamer, mildew-proof bactericide, functional additive and deionized water. The invention utilizes the dispersant to fully wet and uniformly disperse the toner, and combines a fine bead milling process to prepare the water-based color paste. The water-based color paste is easy to combine with plastic resin, reduces the color powder points and spots on the surface of a plastic product, improves the smoothness of the surface of the plastic product, and reduces the use amount of pigment and the adverse effect on the performance of the plastic. The aqueous color paste for plastic coloring, prepared by the invention, has the advantages of high color concentration, small particle size, excellent dispersion performance, high storage stability, good compatibility with plastic resin, safety and environmental protection.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of plastic coloring, in particular to aqueous color paste for plastic coloring and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The plastic colorant is an additive which is used as a raw material and auxiliary material in the processing technology of plastic materials, and has the functions of beautifying, decorating, facilitating identification, improving weather resistance, improving mechanical property and improving optical property. Common plastic colorants include powdered colorants, masterbatches.
With the continuous development of the plastic industry, the coloring quality requirement of the plastic colorant is higher and higher, and the plastic colorant has the performances of bright color, high tinting strength, high-temperature stability, good dispersibility, wide adaptability, low environmental pollution and the like, and particularly has higher color requirement and performance requirement on high-end products. However, the common powdery colorant and color master batch can not meet the requirements, for example, the powdery colorant has a series of problems of large pollution, poor dispersibility, difficult storage, difficult cleaning and the like, the color master batch has higher production cost and lower universality, and the problems of non-uniform coloring effect, easy generation of color difference, incapability of realizing full-automatic production and the like still exist, thereby seriously influencing the development prospect of the plastic industry.
For example, chinese patent CN111534003A discloses a masterbatch production process for improving the coloring uniformity of plastic masterbatch, wherein the prepared plastic masterbatch can be uniformly dispersed in polymer resin to improve the coloring uniformity of plastic masterbatch, thereby improving the product quality of plastic masterbatch. However, the preparation process is complicated.
Disclosure of Invention
Based on the aim, the invention provides the water-based color paste for plastic coloring, which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 20-60% of toner, 0-30% of resin carrier, 5-15% of wetting dispersant, 5-15% of humectant, 0.1-0.2% of defoaming agent, 0.1-0.3% of mildew preventive bactericide, 0.5-5% of functional additive and the balance of deionized water.
Preferably, the toner is one or more organic or inorganic powder colorants, including one or more of titanium white, carbon black, ultramarine, iron oxide, monoazo, disazo, condensed azo, phthalocyanine blue, phthalocyanine green, heterocyclic ring and condensed ring ketone pigments.
Preferably, the resin carrier is a water-based resin, including but not limited to one or more of polyurethane, acrylic, polyethylene, and acrylic modified saturated polyester.
Preferably, the dispersant is a polymeric dispersant, including but not limited to one or more of polyethylene glycol, polycarboxylate dispersant, polyacrylate dispersant, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyurethane, fatty acid modified polyester, and amino modified polysiloxane copolymer.
Preferably, the humectant is one or more of alcohols such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, and glycerol.
Preferably, the functional additive is at least one of a heat stabilizer, an antioxidant, a light stabilizer, an antistatic agent, an anti-blocking additive, a plasticizer, a toughening agent, a solubilizer, a diluent, a filler, a coupling agent, a mold release agent, an anti-fibrillation agent, a lubricant, a leveling agent, a brightening agent, a foaming agent, a nucleating additive, a flame retardant and the like.
The raw materials used in the examples of the present invention are all commercially available.
The invention also aims to provide a preparation method of the aqueous color paste for plastic coloring, which comprises the following steps:
(1) wetting and dispersing: placing a dispersing agent, a humectant, a defoaming agent and deionized water into a bead mill with zirconium beads, stirring and dispersing at the rotating speed of 100-1000 rpm, adding a resin carrier and a functional additive after uniformly mixing, dispersing at the rotating speed of 100-1000 rpm to obtain uniform dispersion liquid, adding toner into the dispersion liquid, and dispersing at a high speed of 500-1500 rpm to fully wet the toner to obtain a ground dispersion;
(2) grinding: feeding the grinding dispersion obtained in the step (1) into a bead mill for grinding for 0.5-5 hours, and stopping grinding;
(3) adjusting: and (3) adding the mildew-proof bactericide into the color paste obtained in the step (2), rotating at 100-1500 rpm, and stirring for 0.5 h. The obtained water-based color paste has small particle size, uniform distribution, good stability and dispersibility, high tinting strength and bright color.
Preferably, the grinding in step (2) is stopped when the dispersion is ground to a particle size point D90 of less than 0.8 μm.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages:
the invention wets and uniformly disperses the toner by proper dispersant, prepares the water-based color paste by a fine bead milling process, makes the resin carrier and the high molecular polymer dispersant in the color paste more easily combined with the resin, can effectively reduce the toner and spots on the surface of a plastic product, improves the smoothness of the surface, reduces the pigment consumption and reduces the influence on the performance of the plastic.
The water-based color paste prepared by the method has the advantages of high color concentration, small particle size, uniform distribution, high storage stability, high tinting strength, bright color, good color stability and the like, has good dispersibility in plastic resin and compatibility with the plastic resin, is safe and environment-friendly, has good commodity performance, and can be widely applied to different plastic forming processes, including but not limited to forming methods such as injection molding, extrusion and the like.
The water-based color paste described in the invention is a novel environment-friendly plastic colorant, and because the water-based color paste contains the polymer with better fluidity, the water-based color paste is easier to combine with plastic resin, the coloring is better and uniform, and the produced plastic product has no toner point, uniform color, gorgeous color and easy storage; the water-based color paste is different from a powdery colorant and color master batches, and is realized by the working mode of automatic production of the serial stirring connector of the color oil meter in the molding process of a plastic product, so that the raw materials are uniformly and fully colored, the labor and labor cost are saved, and the loss of the raw materials is saved; the water-based color paste also has the advantages of convenient color changing, simple cleaning machine, automatic operation, time and labor saving, no need of personnel interference, reduced labor intensity, zero pollution in the production process, zero VOC, wider application range and the like, and is a novel plastic colorant in the current plastic industry.
Detailed Description
The aqueous color pastes for plastic coloring provided by the present invention are further described below with reference to examples, in which the raw materials used in the examples of the present invention are all commercially available.
In the following examples of the invention, the polyurethane dispersant was manufactured by winning U.S. corporation, model No. zetasarse 3100; the polyurethane resin is produced by Dutch Stahl company, and the model is PU 3486; the defoamer is a polyether siloxane copolymer, produced by degao, germany, model 810; the light stabilizer is benzotriazole ultraviolet absorbent, which is produced by BASF corporation and has a model number of TINUVIN 571; the mildew-proof bactericide is produced by the company Longsha Oxyki, and has the model of Proxel BZ plus; the ABS master batch is produced by Taiwan Qimei company, and has the model of PA-757A 01; the polyacrylate dispersant is manufactured by Claine corporation, model number PL 20; acrylic resin, model number J61, manufactured by BASF corporation; the toughening agent is produced by Jinda full-technology company, and has the model of A-612; the PC master batch was manufactured by Sanxingdian of Korea, and was SC-1100R.
Example 1
A preparation method of water-based color paste for plastic coloring comprises the following steps:
(1) wetting and dispersing: placing 7.5kg of polyurethane dispersant, 6kg of propylene glycol, 0.1kg of defoaming agent and 45.8kg of deionized water in a bead mill with zirconium beads, stirring and dispersing at the rotating speed of 500rpm to uniformly mix the polyurethane dispersant, adding 10kg of polyurethane resin carrier and 0.5kg of light stabilizer in a stirring state to uniformly disperse, adding 30kg of carbon black into dispersion liquid, dispersing at the rotating speed of 1000rpm at a high speed to fully wet the carbon black, and thus obtaining the grinding dispersion.
(2) Grinding: and (2) feeding the grinding dispersion obtained in the step (1) into a bead mill, grinding for 2 hours in the bead mill, testing the particle size D90 of the color paste to be 0.28 mu m by using a laser particle sizer, and stopping grinding.
(3) Adjusting: adding 0.1kg of mildew-proof bactericide into the color paste obtained in the step (2), rotating at 1000rpm, and stirring for 0.5 h; the color paste is stored for 30 days at a high temperature of 50 ℃, and has no water separation and bottom precipitation. 1 percent of color paste is added into the ABS master batch by a metering pump, the mixture is fully mixed and dried in a mixing dryer, and the plastic plate obtained by injection molding at 210 ℃ by an injection molding machine has bright color, smooth surface and no toner dots and spots.
Example 2
A preparation method of water-based color paste for plastic coloring comprises the following steps:
(1) wetting and dispersing: 5kg of polyacrylate dispersant, 5kg of ethylene glycol, 0.1kg of defoamer and 34.5kg of deionized water are placed in a bead mill with zirconium beads, the mixture is stirred and dispersed at the rotating speed of 500rpm so as to be uniformly mixed, 15kg of acrylic resin carrier and 0.2kg of flexibilizer are added in the stirring state so as to be uniformly dispersed, and 40kg of phthalocyanine blue is added in the dispersion liquid. Dispersing at a high speed of 1000rpm to fully wet phthalocyanine blue to obtain a grinding dispersion.
(2) Grinding: and (2) feeding the grinding dispersion obtained in the step (1) into a bead mill, grinding for 4 hours in the bead mill, testing the particle size D90 of the color paste to be 0.72 mu m by using a laser particle sizer, and stopping grinding.
(3) Adjusting: adding 0.2kg of mildew-proof bactericide into the color paste obtained in the step (2), rotating at 1000rpm, and stirring for 0.5 h; the color paste is stored for 30 days at a high temperature of 50 ℃, and has no water separation and bottom precipitation. 0.5 percent of color paste is added into the PC master batch by a metering pump, the mixture is fully mixed and dried in a mixing dryer, and the plastic plate obtained by injection molding at 270 ℃ by an injection molding machine has bright color, smooth surface and no toner dots and spots.

Claims (8)

The water-based color paste for coloring the plastic comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 20-60% of toner, 0-30% of resin carrier, 5-15% of wetting dispersant, 5-15% of humectant, 0.1-0.2% of defoaming agent, 0.1-0.3% of mildew preventive bactericide, 0.1-5% of functional additive and the balance of deionized water.
2. The aqueous color paste for coloring plastics according to claim 1, wherein the toner is one or more of titanium white, carbon black, ultramarine, iron oxide, monoazo, disazo, condensed azo, phthalocyanine blue, phthalocyanine green, heterocyclic and condensed ring ketone pigments.
3. The aqueous color paste for coloring plastics according to claim 1, wherein the resin carrier is an aqueous resin, including but not limited to one or more of polyurethane, polyacrylic acid, polyethylene, and acrylic acid modified saturated polyester.

The aqueous color paste for coloring plastics according to claim 1, wherein the dispersant is a polymeric dispersant including, but not limited to, one or more of polyethylene glycol, polycarboxylate dispersant, polyacrylate dispersant, polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyurethane, fatty acid-modified polyester, amino-modified polysiloxane copolymer.
5. The aqueous color paste for coloring plastics according to claim 1, wherein the humectant is one or more selected from the group consisting of ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and glycerin.

The aqueous color paste for coloring plastics according to claim 1, wherein the functional additive is at least one of a heat stabilizer, an antioxidant, a light stabilizer, an antistatic agent, an anti-blocking additive, a plasticizer, a toughening agent, a solubilizer, a diluent, a filler, a coupling agent, a mold release agent, an anti-fibrillation agent, a lubricant, a leveling agent, a brightening agent, a foaming agent, a nucleating additive and a flame retardant.
7. The method for preparing the aqueous color paste for plastic coloring according to any one of claims 1 to 6, comprising the steps of:
(1) wetting and dispersing: placing a dispersing agent, a humectant, a defoaming agent and deionized water into a bead mill with zirconium beads, stirring and dispersing at the rotating speed of 100-1000 rpm, adding a resin carrier and a functional additive after uniformly mixing, dispersing at the rotating speed of 100-1000 rpm to obtain uniform dispersion liquid, adding toner into the dispersion liquid, and dispersing at a high speed of 500-1500 rpm to fully wet the toner to obtain a ground dispersion;
(2) grinding: feeding the grinding dispersion obtained in the step (1) into a bead mill for grinding for 0.5-5 hours, and stopping grinding;
