Abstract

The disadvantages of the flight distance drop caused by the provision of the lip portion and the like are alleviated. A pair of inclined side surfaces (15S ) inclined in a direction approaching each other downward are provided on the back surface (13) side of the lip (9), and protrusions (19), (21) are provided integrally with the pair of inclined side surfaces (15S ) as vortex generators, respectively, so that air flows along the inclined side surfaces (15S ) during throwing are made turbulent, and fine vortices (U1) are generated in the vicinity of the lip (9). Thus, a large swirl (U2) such as a lateral sway of the lip (9) is generated at a position away from the lip (9), and the body (3) can be effectively prevented from being thrown. The provision of the ribs (19, 21) on the inclined side surface (15S) enables the design so as not to increase the air resistance of the projected area portion of the lip (9) in the throwing direction.

Description

Artificial bait
Technical Field
The invention relates to a fishing artificial bait.
Background
The main body of the lure is formed in a shape imitating a fish or the like, and has a lip (water flow resistance plate) at the tip end portion thereof. By subjecting the lips to water flow resistance, the lure can be made to creep to a desired depth, and the lure can be made to perform swimming movements similar to fish.
Since the lip portion is provided so as to protrude from the lower side of the body, air resistance is received on the back surface of the lip portion when the lure is thrown.
If the air resistance is increased, not only the flight distance of the lure cannot be sufficiently achieved, but also the main body is liable to be unstable in the flying posture, so that the destabilization of the flying posture further adversely affects the flight distance and makes it difficult to throw the lure toward the destination.
Therefore, patent document 1 proposes to continuously form an outline line from the lip to the lure body, focusing on the side surface shape of the lure body, but there is a limit in designing the side surface shape.

Detailed Description
A minnow-type artificial bait 1 according to embodiment 1 of the present invention will be explained with reference to the drawings.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the lure 1 is formed of an integrally molded product of ABS resin. The main body 3 is formed to follow the shape of a small fish, and a hook hole (fixing ring) 5 is attached to the abdomen side 2 and a hook hole (fixing ring) 5 is also attached to the tail side. The hook eye 5 is connected to an anchor needle (not shown) for fishing in a freely rotatable manner. A eyelet (fixing ring) 7 is attached to the upper surface of the head of the main body 3. The line eye 7 is provided with a fishing line (not shown).
The lip 9 is formed integrally with the front end of the lure body of the body 3. The lip 9 has a tongue-like outer contour, projects forward from the head of the body 3, and is symmetrical in the right-left direction orthogonal to the projecting longitudinal direction. The lip 9, as a whole, descends downward toward the front.
The lip 9 is formed by a front face 11 and a rear face 13.
As shown in fig. 3, the surface 11 of the lip 9 is flat.
The lip 9 has a thickness, and as shown in fig. 4 and 5, the back surface 13 includes a bottom surface 17 and a side surface 15 that becomes the thickness.
The side faces 15 constitute the profile 9A of the lip 9 at the interface of the surfaces 11, spreading out in a U-shape. The side surface 15 is an inclined side surface inclined in a direction to narrow the bottom surface 17, and the cross-sectional area of the bottom surface 17 is smaller than the surface 11 by an amount corresponding to the inclination.
The side surfaces 15 are inclined in a planar manner so as to approach each other as they go downward in the lateral direction, and a pair of inclined side surfaces 15S and 15S are formed to face each other. The boundary between the flat inclined side surfaces 15S and 15S on the left and right sides and the surface 11 is shaped like an edge.
The bottom surface 17 surrounded by the U-shaped side surface 15 is a circular bottom surface slightly bulging in a substantially circular arc shape toward the center.
The left and right inclined side surfaces 15S, 15S of the lip 9 have raised portions, which are formed as ridges 19, 21, respectively.
Vortex generators (Vortex generators) are mounted on wings of an aircraft to stabilize the flight because they have the effect of suppressing boundary layer separation and reducing air resistance by purposefully generating turbulence.
In the present invention, the ridges 19 are provided as the vortex generators, which are expected to have the same effect. However, the lure 1 is required to have both the creeping performance and the swimming performance, and therefore, the shape is studied so as not to impair these performances.
The ribs 19 and 21 protrude outward from the inclined side surface 15S, and are provided on the inclined side surfaces 15S and 15S on both sides in a bilaterally symmetrical manner.
The ribs 19 and 21 are positioned to extend substantially parallel to the throwing posture and are arranged parallel to each other with respect to one inclined side surface 15S.
The ribs 19, 21 extend to the abutting edge of the inclined side surface 15S, and the inclined side surface 15S is narrowed downward in a side view, so that the rib 19 located on the upper side is extended longer than the rib 21 located on the lower side.
As shown in fig. 6 and 7, the ribs 19 and 21 protrude outward in the orthogonal direction from the inclined side surface 15S. The ridge-shaped cross section in the width direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the ridges 19, 21 is substantially symmetrical about the top portion, and the top portion has a rounded corner.
The ribs 19 and 21 are not of the same shape over the entire length in the longitudinal direction of the ribs, and extremely thick portions 19A and 21A having the largest width dimension (W) and height dimension (H), which are the thickest portions, are formed in the middle, and gradually converge and extend in the front-rear direction from this point as a base point, the lip 9 is thicker on the front side in the protruding direction and thinner on the rear side in the protruding direction. Both ends of the longitudinal direction of the beads 19, 21 are connected to the main body 3 side by a step having a rounded corner.
As described above, the ribs 19 and 21 project outward from the inclined side surface 15S, but do not project beyond the outline 9A of the lip 9 when viewed from the front surface.
The dimensions of the ridges 19, 21 of this embodiment are designed as an example, the length dimension (L) is 4.2mm and 5.8mm, and the ridge 19 provided on the upper side is long. The maximum height dimension (H) is 0.5mm and the maximum width dimension (W) is 0.7 mm. The dimensional relationship between the ribs 19 and 21, the lip 9, and the body 3 is desirably visualized on the basis of the drawing.
In the case where the lip portion is formed integrally with the main body, since weight reduction is prioritized and resin is often used as a material, the lip portion side is often made to have a certain thickness in order to secure strength, and in this case, a side surface having a certain width dimension exists as a part of the back surface in the outer shape of the lip portion.
In the present invention, the side surface is used as a mounting portion for the vortex generators, i.e., the ribs 19, 21. In particular, since the side surface is formed as an inclined surface rather than a parallel surface and is used as a mounting portion, it is possible to easily cut off air by the edge portion formed finally while securing a sufficient mounting area of the plurality of beads 19 and 21.
Further, as the lure 1, it is advantageous to provide the protrusions 19 and 21 on the flat inclined side surface 15S, so that the vortex generator can be provided in a direction not increasing the projected area of the lip 9 in the throwing direction.
In the lure 1 according to this embodiment, as described above, the projections 19 and 21 as vortex generators do not project outward from the outline 9A of the lip 9 when viewed from the surface direction, and the projected area in the throwing direction of the lip 9 does not increase.
As described above, the ridges 19 and 21 have a special shape in cross section in the longitudinal direction.
When the bait is thrown, the airflow flows along the back surface 13 of the lip 9, and a large vortex is generated around the front surface 11 side, and the large vortex causes the lip 9 to shake left and right, that is, the bait 1 flies around.
However, as shown in fig. 2 and 4, the lip 9 is provided with ribs 19 and 21, and the air flow is turbulent in the vicinity of the end portions 19B and 21B of the ribs located on the front side in the flow direction, that is, in the vicinity of the lip 9, so that fine swirls U1 occur and large swirls U2 occur at a position away from the lip 9. If the large swirl U2 occurs at a point distant from the lip 9, the influence on the lip 9 is weak, and the leftward and rightward shaking can be suppressed. Therefore, the flying posture of the lure 1 is stabilized.
When the lure 1 is wound, the same fine whirls U1 as described above occur in the vicinity of the end portions 19B, 21B of the projected strip located on the front side in the flow direction, that is, in the vicinity of the lip 9, and the flow direction is opposite to that in the casting, and therefore, this time, they occur in the vicinity of the end portions 19C, 21C on the thinner side.
The fine vortices U1 act in a direction to restrict the movement of the lip 9, and the fine vortices U1 are generated weakly in the vicinity of the end portions 19C, 21C on the fine side, as compared with the vicinity of the end portions 19B, 21B on the coarse side. Therefore, the influence on the lip 9 is also weak, and the movement of the lure 1 during the fishing operation is hardly restricted, and the diving performance and swimming performance are hardly adversely affected.
Fig. 8 shows a rocking type lure 23 according to embodiment 2 of the present invention.
In the same design rule as in embodiment 1, the lip 25 is also provided with ribs 27, 29 as vortex generators.
Fig. 9 shows a water-strike lure 31 according to embodiment 3 of the present invention. In the same design rule as that of embodiment 1, the lip 33 is also provided with ribs 35, 37 as vortex generators.
Although the embodiment of the present invention has been described in detail above, the specific configuration is not limited to the embodiment, and design changes and the like may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention, and the present invention also includes the embodiments.
For example, the same type of lure may be designed freely without requiring any other shape/size condition as long as the lip portion has an inclined side surface, depending on the shape and size. This includes forming the rear surface to be convex and asymmetrical.
In the above embodiment, the vortex generators are all of the type having 2 vortex generators on one side, and if the number of vortex generators is increased, the effect is increased, but the adverse effect due to the weight increase of the lips is also generated, so that the type having 2 to 3 vortex generators on one side is recommended for the lip-equipped lure of the size commercially available at present.
Further, the present invention also includes a change in design such as providing the eyelet on the lip side.
