Abstract

The invention discloses a primer for silicon rubber self-adhesive tape and a preparation method thereof, wherein 5-20 parts of silicon resin, 1-5 parts of tackifier, 5-15 parts of silane coupling agent, 5-15 parts of silicate ester, 1-3 parts of catalyst and 50-80 parts of solvent are uniformly mixed at room temperature to prepare the primer for silicon rubber self-adhesive tape. The tackifier is boron-containing polysiloxane prepared from boric acid and siloxane polymer. According to the invention, the boron-containing polysiloxane tackifier is added, the tackifying property of a B-O-Si group and the easy expansibility of a small molecular chain are utilized, and other components are matched to obtain the primer capable of effectively improving the bonding of the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape and the metal base material, the primer and the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape have good compatibility, so that the bonding of the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape to the metal base material can reach 100% cohesive failure.

Primer for silicon rubber self-adhesive tape and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of high polymer sealing materials, in particular to a primer for a silicone rubber self-adhesive tape and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The silicon rubber self-adhesive tape is a novel insulating tape, has the biggest characteristic of self-adhesion, is lapped and wound on a protected object under certain stretching, can be self-melted into a whole within 24 hours, has the advantages of excellent electrical property, weather resistance, ozone resistance, convenient construction and the like, and is widely applied to the moisture prevention of high-voltage motor coils and the external insulation protection of high-voltage transmission and distribution substation equipment.
Although the self-adhesive tape of silicon rubber has very good self-adhesion, the main molecular chain structure of the self-adhesive tape is Si-O bond and the connected polar groups are less like most silicon rubber, so the self-adhesive tape has very poor adhesion with various materials, especially very poor adhesion with inorganic metal materials such as copper, aluminum, stainless steel base materials and the like which are commonly used in power electrical equipment. In order to improve the adhesion between the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape and different base materials, especially metal base materials, a primer is often used, and the primer is pre-coated before the self-adhesive tape is not overlapped on the base materials, so that the adhesion between the base materials and the self-adhesive tape can be enhanced. However, there is only a few reports on the primer for the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape, especially the primer for the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape for the metal substrate, and in the reported method for repairing the insulation damage of the cable of the leading wire of the traction motor, patent No. CN104134954B mentions that a layer of primer is coated around the damaged cable, and then the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape is wrapped on the surface of the cable coated with the primer.
The research on the base coat for the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape in the prior art is not deep enough, and the problem of improving the adhesion between the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape and the common metal base material through the base coat is still to be solved urgently, so that the development of the base coat for the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape, particularly the base coat capable of improving the adhesion to the metal base material, is necessary.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a primer for a silicon rubber self-adhesive tape, which is used for improving the adhesion of the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape to a metal base material.
The invention adopts the following technical scheme:
the primer for the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape comprises the following components in parts by mass: 5-20 parts of silicon resin, 1-5 parts of tackifier, 5-15 parts of silane coupling agent, 5-15 parts of silicate ester, 1-3 parts of catalyst and 50-80 parts of solvent.
The silicone resin is one or more of methyl silicone resin, methyl phenyl silicone resin and methyl vinyl silicone resin, preferably methyl vinyl silicone resin, and the vinyl content is 2.7-2.9%.
The tackifier is boron-containing polysiloxane prepared from boric acid and siloxane polymer. Preferably, the adhesion promoter is obtained by condensation polymerization of boric acid and methoxy-terminated polysiloxane, has a number average molecular weight of 4500-5500 and is provided with B-O-Si groups.
The silane coupling agent is one or more of vinyl trimethoxy silane, gamma-aminopropyl triethoxy silane, gamma- (2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propyl trimethoxy silane and gamma- (methacryloyloxy) propyl trimethoxy silane, and preferably is vinyl trimethoxy silane and gamma- (2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propyl trimethoxy silane.
The silicate is one or more of methyl orthosilicate, ethyl orthosilicate, isopropyl orthosilicate, tetra (2-methoxyethanol) silicate, tetra (2-methoxy-1-methylethyl) silicate and tetra (2-ethylhexyl) silicate, and preferably is ethyl orthosilicate.
The catalyst is one or more of dibutyltin dilaurate, chelated tin, tetra-n-butyl titanate, tetraisopropyl titanate and zirconium acetylacetonate, and preferably dibutyltin dilaurate and tetra-n-butyl titanate.
The solvent is one or more of ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, ethanol, isopropanol, n-hexane, cyclohexane and petroleum ether, and preferably petroleum ether.
The preparation method of the primer for the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape comprises the step of uniformly mixing all the components in parts by mass at room temperature to obtain the primer for the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape.
The test method of the primer for the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape comprises the steps of coating the primer on the surface of a base material, after waiting for 1-2min, attaching the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape to the surface of the base material, baking the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape in a baking oven at 100 ℃ for 1h, and cooling to room temperature to test adhesion.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has at least the following beneficial effects: by adding the self-made boron-containing polysiloxane tackifier, the tackifying property of a B-O-Si group and the easy-to-diffuse property of a molecular chain with proper molecular weight are utilized, and other components are matched to obtain the primer capable of effectively improving the bonding of the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape and the metal base material, the primer and the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape have good compatibility, and the bonding of the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape to the metal base material can reach 100% cohesive failure.

Comparative example 1:
10g of vinyl silicon resin, 4g of vinyl trimethoxy silane, 4g of gamma- (2, 3-epoxy propoxy) propyl trimethoxy silane, 8g of ethyl orthosilicate, 2g of dibutyltin dilaurate and 72g of petroleum ether are stirred and mixed uniformly at room temperature to obtain the silicon rubber self-adhesive primer without tackifier.
Comparative example 2
10g of vinyl silicone resin, 2g of tackifier tris (trimethylsilane) borate (commercially available borate commonly used in self-adhesive tape systems), 4g of vinyltrimethoxysilane, 4g of gamma- (2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propyltrimethoxysilane, 8g of ethyl orthosilicate, 2g of dibutyltin dilaurate and 72g of petroleum ether are stirred and mixed uniformly at room temperature to obtain the silicone rubber self-adhesive primer.
Preparation examples of adhesion promoters
Adding 0.2mol of boric acid and 0.6mol of polysiloxane with a methoxy end capping of 3000 molecular weight into a three-necked bottle, mixing and heating to 80 ℃, stirring for reaction for 8 hours, then carrying out vacuum rotary evaporation at 85 ℃ to remove reaction liquid and low boiling, cooling to obtain viscous liquid, namely the self-made boron-containing polysiloxane tackifier, and applying the viscous liquid to a self-adhesive tape base coat formula.
The molecular weight of the tackifier can be controlled by selecting the molecular weight of the methoxy-terminated polysiloxane, and the number average molecular weight of the self-made tackifier is about 5000 measured by GPC.
Example 1:
10g of vinyl silicon resin, 2g of tackifier, 4g of vinyl trimethoxy silane, 4g of gamma- (2, 3-epoxy propoxy) propyl trimethoxy silane, 8g of ethyl orthosilicate, 2g of dibutyltin dilaurate and 72g of petroleum ether are stirred and mixed uniformly at room temperature to obtain the silicone rubber self-adhesive primer.
Example 2:
10g of vinyl silicone resin, 3g of tackifier, 8g of gamma- (2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propyl trimethoxy silane, 8g of ethyl orthosilicate, 1g of dibutyltin dilaurate and 70g of petroleum ether are stirred and mixed uniformly at room temperature to obtain the silicone rubber self-adhesive primer.
Example 3:
10g of vinyl silicone resin, 4g of tackifier, 5g of gamma- (2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propyl trimethoxy silane, 5g of vinyl trimethoxy silane, 12g of ethyl orthosilicate, 2g of dibutyltin dilaurate and 62g of petroleum ether are stirred and mixed uniformly at room temperature to obtain the silicone rubber self-adhesive primer.
Example 4:
stirring and mixing 15g of vinyl silicone resin, 3g of tackifier, 6g of gamma- (2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propyl trimethoxy silane, 6g of vinyl trimethoxy silane, 10g of ethyl orthosilicate, 2g of tetra-n-butyl titanate and 58g of petroleum ether uniformly at room temperature to obtain the silicone rubber self-adhesive primer.
Example 5:
and stirring and uniformly mixing 18g of vinyl silicone resin, 3g of tackifier, 8g of gamma- (2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propyl trimethoxy silane, 5g of ethyl orthosilicate, 1g of tetra-n-butyl titanate and 65g of petroleum ether at room temperature to obtain the silicone rubber self-adhesive primer.
Example 6:
stirring and mixing 15g of vinyl silicon resin, 2g of tackifier, 5g of vinyl trimethoxy silane, 10g of ethyl orthosilicate, 1g of tetra-n-butyl titanate, 2g of dibutyltin dilaurate and 65g of petroleum ether uniformly at room temperature to obtain the silicone rubber self-adhesive primer.
Performance testing
1. Normal state test (test results are shown in Table 1)
The primer prepared in the comparative example 1 and the examples 1 to 6 is respectively coated on the surfaces of clean and dry brass, aluminum and stainless steel substrates, after 1 to 2 minutes, a silicon rubber self-adhesive tape is attached to the substrate coated with the primer, the substrate is pressed to be tightly attached, meanwhile, blank tests are carried out for comparison (the substrate surface is directly attached to the self-adhesive tape without coating the primer), then the substrate is placed in a 100 ℃ oven for baking for 1 hour and then taken out, and a to-be-tested piece is cooled to room temperature and then subjected to a peeling test.
2. Harsh Condition testing (test results are shown in Table 2)
According to the practical application environment of the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape, the most common brass base material is selected, and the sample piece which is bonded normally is subjected to the following tests:
(1) and (3) testing water resistance: soaking the sample piece in normal temperature water for 7 days, and then carrying out adhesion test;
(2) and (3) oil resistance test: soaking the sample piece in 100 ℃ transformer oil for 24h, and then carrying out adhesion test;
(3) and (3) testing acid resistance: and soaking the sample piece in a reagent with the sulfuric acid concentration of 3% at 25 ℃ for 24 hours, and then carrying out an adhesion test.

The test results in tables 1 and 2 show that the primer for the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape, prepared by the invention, fully utilizes the tackifying property of the self-made tackifier, so that the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape can achieve 90% or even 100% cohesive failure for metal base materials such as brass and the like no matter the adhesion test is carried out under the harsh conditions of water immersion, oil immersion, acid immersion and the like in a normal state, and the adhesion of the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape and the metal base materials is greatly improved.

1. The primer for the silicon rubber self-adhesive tape is characterized by comprising the following components in parts by mass: 5-20 parts of silicon resin, 1-5 parts of tackifier, 5-15 parts of silane coupling agent, 5-15 parts of silicate ester, 1-3 parts of catalyst and 50-80 parts of solvent.
2. The primer for the silicone rubber self-adhesive tape according to claim 1, wherein the silicone resin is one or more of methyl silicone resin, methyl phenyl silicone resin and methyl vinyl silicone resin.
3. The primer for silicone rubber self-adhesive tape according to claim 1, wherein the tackifier is a boron-containing polysiloxane prepared from boric acid and a siloxane polymer.
4. The silicone rubber self-adhesive primer according to claim 3, wherein the tackifier is a tackifier having a number average molecular weight of 5000 and a B-O-Si group, obtained by polycondensation of boric acid and a methoxy-terminated polysiloxane.
5. The primer for silicone rubber self-adhesive tape according to claim 1, wherein the silane coupling agent is one or more of vinyltrimethoxysilane, gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, gamma- (2, 3-epoxypropoxy) propyltrimethoxysilane, and gamma- (methacryloyloxy) propyltrimethoxysilane.
6. The primer for silicone rubber self-adhesive tape as claimed in claim 1, wherein the silicate is one or more of methyl orthosilicate, ethyl orthosilicate, isopropyl orthosilicate, tetra (2-methoxyethanol) silicate, tetra (2-methoxy-1-methylethyl) silicate and tetra (2-ethylhexyl) silicate.
7. The primer for self-adhesive silicone rubber tapes as claimed in claim 1, wherein the catalyst is one or more of dibutyltin dilaurate, tin chelate, tetra-n-butyl titanate, tetra-isopropyl titanate, and zirconium acetylacetonate.
8. The primer for silicone rubber self-adhesive tape according to claim 1, wherein the solvent is one or more of ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, ethanol, isopropanol, n-hexane, cyclohexane, and petroleum ether.
