Abstract
The invention provides a method and a system for inputting a custom character string through a remote controller key, wherein the method comprises the following steps: receiving a hot key signal which is selected by a user on a remote controller and is used for inputting a custom character string; receiving a character string corresponding to the hot key selected by a user on the soft keyboard, and storing the corresponding relation between the character string and the hot key; and receiving a hot key signal input by a user, matching the hot key signal with the corresponding relation, and converting the hot key signal into the character string. According to the invention, part of the remote controller keys is set as the hot keys, then the hot keys are matched with the self-defined character strings, and the common personalized character strings can be displayed only by pressing the corresponding hot keys without repeatedly selecting the required characters on the soft keyboard through the upper, lower, left and right keys during inputting, so that the input efficiency is improved, and the experience of a user is improved.

Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of input methods, and particularly relates to a method and a system for inputting a custom character string to a device through a remote controller key.
Background
When a plurality of devices, such as a set-top box, need to input information, a virtual soft keyboard is popped up, and a user selects characters which the user wants to input through a remote controller up, down, left and right. However, the soft keyboard key settings of the existing devices are determined, or the definition of the keys is determined, some very personalized character strings need to be repeatedly input, such as information of common web addresses, home addresses, user names and the like, and therefore the input efficiency is low.
Therefore, it is necessary to provide a method for improving input efficiency.

and receiving a hot key signal input by a user, matching the hot key signal with the corresponding relation, and converting the hot key signal into the character string.

the hot key receiving module is used for receiving a hot key signal which is selected by a user on a remote controller and is used for inputting a user-defined character string;
the matching module is used for receiving a character string which is selected by a user on the soft keyboard and corresponds to the hot key, and storing the corresponding relation between the character string and the hot key;
and the input module is used for receiving a hot key signal input by a user, matching the hot key signal with the corresponding relation and converting the hot key signal into the character string.
Preferably, the hot key receiving module is specifically configured to receive a hot key selected by a user through pressing or touching on a remote control keyboard.
Preferably, the matching module is specifically configured to receive a character string selected by a user on the soft keyboard through a keyboard of a remote controller.
Preferably, the input module is specifically configured to receive a pressing or touch input of a user on the hot key on the remote controller keyboard, compare the pressing or touch input with a stored correspondence between the hot key and the character string, find the character string corresponding to the hot key, and display the character string in an input area, or input the character string by default.

receiving a hot key signal input by a user, matching the hot key signal with the corresponding relation, and converting the hot key signal into the character string: and pressing a hot key on the remote controller, then comparing the hot key with the corresponding relation in the previous step by the system to obtain a character string corresponding to the hot key, and displaying the character string in an input frame of the set-top box or the television.

and receiving a hot key signal input by a user, matching the hot key signal with the corresponding relation, and converting the hot key signal into the character string.
