Abstract

本申请实施例公开了一种3D图形数据的压缩方法,该方法包括:从服务器端的图形应用程序编程接口获取第一3D模型数据;基于3D模型数据的特征值确定第一3D模型数据所属的第一角色序列;在该第一角色序列中确定与该第一3D模型数据相似度最高的3D模型数据;基于该第一3D模型数据和该相似度最高的3D模型数据,得到第一3D模型数据的压缩结果。本申请提供的方法在3D模型所属的类别内搜索最相似的参考模型,降低模型搜索空间的大小,减少计算量,进一步的,基于第一3D模型与最相似的参考模型获得压缩结果,降低冗余信息,提高压缩比例。
