Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present application, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
In the following description, numerous specific details are set forth in order to provide a thorough understanding of the present application, but the present application may be practiced in other ways than those described herein, and it will be apparent to those of ordinary skill in the art that the present application is not limited to the specific embodiments disclosed below.
Next, the present application will be described in detail with reference to the drawings, and in the detailed description of the embodiments of the present application, the cross-sectional views illustrating the structure of the device are not enlarged partially according to the general scale for convenience of illustration, and the drawings are only examples, which should not limit the scope of the protection of the present application. In addition, the three-dimensional dimensions of length, width and depth should be included in the actual fabrication.
As described in the background section, it is a problem to be solved by those skilled in the art to provide a display device that is portable and meets the user's requirement for a large display area.
In view of this, an embodiment of the present application provides a display device, as shown in fig. 1, including: a first display panel 10, a second display panel 20 and a back cover 30, as shown in fig. 2, the back cover 30 has a groove, and the back cover is movably connected with the first display panel 10 at 30; in the embodiment of the present application, the display device includes a first state and a second state, in the first state, as shown in fig. 1 to 3, the second display panel 20 is located between the back cover 30 and the first display panel 10, and is accommodated in the groove of the back cover 30 in the folded configuration, and the first display panel 10 is completely shielded, and in the second state, as shown in fig. 4, the second display panel is in the unfolded configuration, and the first display portion 21 of the second display panel is not shielded by the first display panel 10.
When the display device is applied to a small display area, the display device provided by the embodiment of the application is in a first state, the second display panel is located between the rear cover and the first display panel, is accommodated in the groove of the rear cover in a folded state, and is completely shielded by the first display panel, so that the second display panel is accommodated between the first display panel and the rear cover, and is convenient to carry; when the display device is applied to a large display area, the display device provided by the embodiment of the application is in the second state, the second display panel is in the non-folding state, and the first display part of the second display panel is not shielded by the first display panel, so that the first display part of the second display panel is visible by a user, the display area of the display device is increased, and the display device has a larger display area.
Therefore, the display device provided by the embodiment of the application can be applied to occasions requiring small display areas and occasions requiring large display areas, and is convenient to carry.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, the display device is a wearable display device, so as to further improve the portability of the display device, but the present application does not limit this, as the case may be.
Specifically, in an embodiment of the present application, the display device is a wearable watch, but the present application does not limit this, which depends on the usage requirement. For convenience of description, the display device is taken as a wearable watch as an example, and the following devices provided in the embodiments of the present application are described below.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, when the display device is a wearable watch, as shown in fig. 4, the display device further includes: band 40 is fixedly attached to first display panel 10 to secure first display panel 10 to a user's hand with band 40. It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, the back cover is located on the back of the watch band so as not to affect the display of the first display panel.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 4, in the second state, the angle a formed between the display surface of the first display portion 21 and the display surface of the first display panel 10 ranges from 90 ° to 180 °, inclusive, so that the display surfaces of the first display portion 21 and the first display panel 10 are both facing the user and visible to the user, thereby meeting the user's requirement for a large display area.
Alternatively, on the basis of the above embodiment, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 4, in the second state, the display surface of the first display portion 21 is parallel to the display surface of the first display panel 10, so that the display image of the first display portion 21 and the display image of the first display panel 10 are located in the same plane, but the present application does not limit this, and in other embodiments of the present application, the display surface of the first display portion 21 and the display surface of the first display panel 10 may not be parallel, depending on the situation.
On the basis of any of the foregoing embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, in the second state, the first display panel displays a first screen, the second display panel displays a second screen, and the first screen and the second screen are independent and unrelated to each other.
In another embodiment of the present application, in the second state, the first display panel displays a first picture, the second display panel displays a second picture, and the first picture and the second picture satisfy a preset relationship, so that the first display panel and the second display panel are matched to satisfy a user's requirement.
Optionally, on the basis of the foregoing embodiment, in an embodiment of the present application, the first screen and the second screen are different portions of a same image to be displayed, and the first screen and the second screen are tiled for displaying, so that the image to be displayed is displayed together through tiled display. However, the present application is not limited to this, and in other embodiments of the present application, the first screen and the second screen are different parts of the same image to be displayed, but the first screen and the second screen are not spliced, as the case may be.
In another embodiment of the present application, the first image is a partial enlarged view of the second image, or the second image is a partial enlarged view of the first image, which is not limited in this application, as the case may be.
In yet another embodiment of the present application, the first display panel includes an input element, and in the second state, an input operation on the input element is used to change the display content of the second display panel, so that the first display panel acts as an input device of the second display panel to control the second display panel. It should be noted that, in an embodiment of the present application, the first display panel includes a display portion and an input portion, and the input portion of the first display panel is used as an input device of the second display panel, optionally, the input portion of the first display panel may be a key input element or a touch input element, which is not limited in this application and is determined as the case may be.
In another embodiment of the present application, the first display panel is a touch display panel, and the whole first display panel is used as an input device of the second display panel, which is not limited in the present application, and is determined as the case may be.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 5, the second display panel further includes: a second display portion 22, in the second state, the second display portion 22 of the second display panel is shielded by the first display panel, and in the embodiment of the present application, the second display portion 22 of the second display panel is not used for displaying images, but is used for transmitting signals for the first display portion, but the present application does not limit this, depending on the situation.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 5, a size of the second display portion 22 in the third direction X does not exceed a size of the first display panel in the third direction X, so that the second display portion 22 may be completely shielded by the first display panel in the third direction X. In another embodiment of the present application, a dimension of the second display section 22 in the fourth direction Y does not exceed a dimension of the first display panel in the fourth direction Y, so that the second display section 22 can be completely shielded by the first display panel in the second direction Y. In yet another embodiment of the present application, the size of the second display section 22 in each direction does not exceed the size of the first display panel in the corresponding direction, so that the second display section 22 can be completely blocked by the first display panel. The present application is not limited thereto, as the case may be. The first direction X is an extending direction of the watchband, and the second direction Y is perpendicular to the first direction X.
In the embodiment of the present application, when the display device does not include a watch band, the first direction is a length direction of the second display portion, and the second direction is a width direction of the second display portion.
It should be further noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, in the first state, the second display portion of the second display panel is also completely blocked by the first display panel.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, in one embodiment of the present application, the second display panel is movably connected to the back cover, specifically, in one embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 6 and 7, the second display portion 22 of the second display panel 20 is rotatably connected to the back cover 30, and the first display portion 21 of the second display panel 20 is fixedly connected to the second display portion 22, so as to achieve the movable connection between the second display panel 20 and the back cover 30, but the present application is not limited thereto.
Alternatively, on the basis of the above embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 8 and fig. 9, the second display portion 22 of the second display panel is rotatably connected to the rear cover through a rotating shaft 50, where fig. 8 is a partial schematic view when the second display portion 22 is perpendicular to a plane where the rear cover 30 is located, and fig. 9 is a partial schematic view when the second display portion 22 is parallel to the plane where the rear cover 30 is located.
It should be noted that, on the basis of any of the above embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, the display area of the first display portion is larger than the display area of the first display panel, so that the first display portion can be independently used in an occasion where a large display area is needed, and a requirement of a user for a large display area is met.
Alternatively, on the basis of the above-mentioned embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 10, the first display portion includes a first sub display portion 211, a second sub display portion 212, and a third sub display portion 213 arranged along a first direction C, and as shown in fig. 11, the second sub display portion 212 and the second display portion 22 are arranged along a second direction D, which is perpendicular to the first direction C. It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, in the first state, the first sub-display portion 211 and the third sub-display portion 213 at least partially overlap with the second sub-display portion 212 by being folded, and the second sub-display portion 212 at least partially overlaps with the second display portion 22 by being folded, so that when the display device is in the first state, the second display panel is in a folded state.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, in the first direction C, the size of the second sub-display portion 212 is the same as that of the second display portion 22, so that in the first direction C, the folded first display portion can be completely located on the side of the second display portion 22 departing from the first display panel, and is completely shielded by the second display portion 22, so that when the display device is in the first state, the first display portion is located on the side of the second display portion departing from the first display panel in the folded state, and is completely shielded by the first display panel in the first direction C.
Optionally, on the basis of the above embodiment, in an embodiment of the present application, the first direction is a length direction of the first display panel, and if the display device is a wearable watch, the first direction is an extending direction of a watchband, so that after being folded, the first display portion can be completely located on a side, away from the first display panel, of the second display portion in a length direction of the first display panel, and is completely shielded by the second display portion, so that when the display device is in the first state, the first display portion is located in a folded state, where the second display portion is away from a side, away from the first display panel, of the second display portion, and is completely shielded by the first display panel in the length direction of the first display panel.
In another embodiment of the present application, in an embodiment of the present application, the first direction is a width direction of the first display panel, and if the display device is a wearable watch, the first direction is perpendicular to an extending direction of the watchband, so that after being folded, the first display portion can be completely located in the width direction of the first display panel, and the second display portion deviates from one side of the first display panel, and is completely shielded by the second display portion, so that when the display device is in the first state, the first display portion is located in the folded state, and the second display portion deviates from one side of the first display panel, and is completely shielded by the first display panel in the width direction of the first display panel.
In another embodiment of the present application, the second sub-display portion and the second display portion are the same in size in each direction, so that the first display portion can be completely located on a side of the second display portion facing away from the first display panel in each direction after being folded, and completely shielded by the second display portion, so that the first display portion is located on a side of the second display portion facing away from the first display panel in a folded state when the display device is in the first state, and is completely shielded by the first display panel in each direction. The present application is not limited thereto, as the case may be.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, the second display panel is a flexible display panel to facilitate folding of the second display panel, but the present application is not limited thereto, and in other embodiments of the present application, the second display panel may also be composed of at least two non-flexible display panels, as the case may be.
Next, taking the second display panel as a flexible display panel as an example, the display device provided in the embodiment of the present application is continuously described.
Since the flexible display panel is easy to change its form, in an embodiment of the present application, when the second display panel is a flexible display panel, the display device further includes: a supporting element, including a first supporting element, in the first state, as shown in fig. 12, the first supporting element 61 is received in the groove of the back cover 30 in a first form to facilitate carrying of the supporting element, and in the second state, as shown in fig. 13, the first supporting element 61 supports the second display panel 20 in a second form to fix the form of the second display panel 20, so that the second display panel 20 maintains the display form; wherein the first configuration is different from the second configuration, and an area of the first support element 61 in the first configuration is smaller than an area of the first support element 61 in the second configuration.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present application, an area of the first supporting element in the second state may be equal to an area of the second display panel in the second state of the display device, or may be larger or smaller than the area of the second display panel in the second state of the display device.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, the first supporting element is an integral structure, and the first supporting element can deform under the action of an external force and can maintain the current shape when no external force is applied. Specifically, in an embodiment of the present application, the first support element is a nickel-titanium alloy frame, the nickel-titanium alloy is a shape memory alloy, the shape memory alloy is a special alloy capable of automatically restoring its own plastic deformation to an original shape at a certain temperature, the expansion rate of the shape memory alloy is above 20%, the fatigue life of the shape memory alloy reaches 7 times of 1 × 10, the damping characteristic is 10 times higher than that of a common spring, and the shape memory alloy has excellent characteristics of wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high damping, superelasticity and the like besides a unique shape memory function.
In another embodiment of the present application, the first support element is made of at least two components to enable the first support element to be switched between the first configuration and the second configuration by changing the relative positions of the components thereof.
In particular, in one embodiment of the present application, the first support element comprises a telescopic element comprising: a first component and a second component slidably connected, the first component and the second component having a first overlapping area in the first configuration and a second overlapping area in the second configuration, wherein the first overlapping area is greater than the second overlapping area such that the area of the first support element in the first configuration is less than the area of the first support element in the second configuration.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, the first form of the first supporting element is a maximum contraction form that can be realized by the first supporting element to improve the portability of the first supporting element, and the second form of the first supporting element is a maximum expansion form that can be realized by the first supporting element to better fix the form of the second display panel. However, the present application is not limited thereto, as long as the area of the first supporting element in the second state is larger than the area of the second display panel, each area of the second display panel can be supported, and the area of the first supporting element in the first state is smaller than the area of the first supporting element in the second state, so that the first supporting element can be conveniently carried.
Specifically, on the basis of the above-described embodiment, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 14, the first component part 611 has a cavity in the extending direction of the first component part 611, and the second component part 612 is slidable with respect to the cavity of the first component part 611; when the first support element is in the first configuration, the second component 612 is located within the cavity of the first component 611, and when the first support element is in the second configuration, the second component 612 slides out of the cavity of the first component 611, at least partially without being located within the cavity of the first component 611.
In another embodiment of the present application, the first component has a groove thereon and the second component has a protrusion thereon to enable sliding connection of the first component and the second component by cooperation of the groove on the first component and the protrusion on the second component, and in other embodiments of the present application, the first component and the second component may also display the sliding connection in other ways, as the case may be.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, the second display panel includes a first display portion, and as shown in fig. 10, the first display portion includes a first sub-display portion 211, a second sub-display portion 212, and a third sub-display portion 213 arranged along a first direction C, and the first support element includes a first portion 611, a second portion 612, and a third portion 613 arranged along the first direction C, where the first portion 611 corresponds to the first sub-display portion 211 and is used to fix a form of the first sub-display portion 211, the second portion 612 corresponds to the second sub-display portion 212 and is used to fix a form of the second sub-display portion 212, and the third portion 613 corresponds to the third sub-display portion 213 and is used to fix a form of the third sub-display portion 213.
In another embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 11, the second display panel includes: the first display portion and the second display portion 22 are arranged along the second direction D, the first display portion includes a first sub display portion 211, a second sub display portion 212 and a third sub display portion 213 arranged along the first direction C, in the embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 15, the first supporting member includes a fourth portion 614 arranged along the second direction D with respect to the second portion 612 in addition to a first portion 611, a second portion 612 and a third portion 613 arranged along the first direction C, and the fourth portion 614 corresponds to the second display portion 22 and fixes the shape of the second display portion 22.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the application, in the second state, a shape of the first supporting element is the same as a shape of the second display panel, that is, when the display device is in the second state, a shape of the second display panel is the same as a shape of the first supporting element, for example, when the display device is in the second state, the second display panel is T-shaped, and correspondingly, when the first supporting element is in the second state, the first supporting element is also T-shaped, so as to better fix the shape of the second display panel.
On the basis of any one of the above embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 16, the display device further includes: a fixing element 70, wherein in the second state, the fixing element 70 fixedly connects the first supporting element 61 and the second display panel 20 to ensure the relative position of the first supporting element 61 and the second display panel 20 is fixed.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, the fixing element is a magnetic attraction element, so as to ensure fixing of the relative positions of the first supporting element and the second display panel through magnetic attraction. Specifically, in the embodiment of the present application, when the display device is in the second state, one side of the second display panel facing the first supporting element has a plurality of first magnetic adsorbing elements, and one side of the first supporting element facing the second display panel has a plurality of second magnetic adsorbing elements, so that the relative positions of the second display panel and the first supporting element are maintained by the magnetic adsorption of the first magnetic adsorbing elements and the second magnetic adsorbing elements. However, the present application is not limited thereto, as the case may be.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, in one embodiment of the present application, the first supporting element is rotatably connected with the back cover to reduce the risk that the first supporting element falls off from the back cover. Alternatively, in an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 17 and 18, the first supporting member 61 is rotatably connected to the rear cover 30 by a rotating shaft 80, so that the first supporting member 61 can rotate around the rear cover 30 by an external force through the rotating shaft 80 and can maintain a certain position after the external force is removed when the first supporting member is rotated to the certain position. However, the present application is not limited thereto, and in other embodiments of the present application, the first supporting element may be rotatably connected with the rear cover in other manners, as the case may be.
In another embodiment of the present application, the first supporting element is disposed independently from the rear cover, that is, the first supporting element is not fixedly connected to the rear cover, and in this embodiment of the present application, when the display device is in the second state, in order to enable the supporting element to maintain its supporting position by itself, the supporting element further includes, as shown in fig. 19: a second supporting member 62, in the second state, a first side of the second supporting member 62 is in contact with the rear cover 30, and a second side is in contact with the first supporting member 61, and the relative positions of the first supporting member 61 and the rear cover 30 are fixed, wherein the second side is opposite to the first side.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present application, when the display device is in the second state, a plane of the second supporting element is perpendicular to a plane of the first supporting element, so as to improve stability of the first supporting element when the second supporting element supports the position of the first supporting element, but the present application does not limit this, and in other embodiments of the present application, when the display device is in the second state, the plane of the second supporting element may not be perpendicular to the plane of the first supporting element, but may be at an angle, as long as it can maintain the relative positions of the first supporting element and the rear cover.
On the basis of any of the above embodiments, in an embodiment of the present application, the first display panel may be an organic light emitting display panel, and may also be a display panel of another type.
To sum up, the display device provided by the embodiment of the present application can be applied to the occasion that requires a small display area, and can also be applied to the occasion that requires a large display area, and is convenient to carry.
All parts in the specification are described in a mode of combining parallel and progressive, each part is mainly described to be different from other parts, and the same and similar parts among all parts can be referred to each other.
