Description

Network switching method and base station
Technical Field
The present disclosure belongs to the field of communication technologies, and in particular, to a network switching method and a base station.
Background
Compared with the 4G (fourth Generation communication technology) network, the 5G (fifth Generation communication technology) network can provide high speed and low latency for us, and it will also carry more applications and mass connections, all of which are realized by means of 5G network slice. The 5G network slice is actually a physical network of an operator divided into a plurality of virtual networks according to needs, and may be divided by delay, bandwidth, security, reliability, and the like. In actual network deployment, the operator can divide into different types such as intelligent transportation, unmanned aerial vehicle, wisdom medical treatment, intelligent house and industrial control with the network section according to the demand condition.
The 5G network technology abstracts physical resources into virtual resources, and cuts and arranges the resources according to business requirements so as to realize customized virtual network slices. In actual deployment, dedicated network slices need to be created for services with different requirements, a 5G network architecture can have multiple virtual network slices under the same base station, and resources among the virtual network slices need to be reasonably allocated.
The purpose of 5G network slicing is to implement partitioning of the physical network at the end-to-end level to achieve optimal traffic grouping. Although the 5G network can realize flexible network slicing, at present, the terminal cannot know the deployment network slicing division and deployment situation of the cell where the terminal is located or the target cell in advance. Because the network slices may not be continuous all the time when actually deployed, and the network slices deployed in the areas where different base stations are located may not be the same, a target network slice may not meet the multi-network-slice requirement of the terminal, which may cause a handover failure, and increase the selection time of the handover. Therefore, how to avoid the handover failure and poor user experience caused by the failure of searching the target base station applied to the multi-network slice is a problem to be solved urgently at present.

Detailed Description
For a better understanding of the technical aspects of the present disclosure, reference is made to the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
At present, although fine network slice division can provide better service for a user, under the condition that the network slice division is fine, the problems that when one terminal is connected with a plurality of network slices, the target base station fails to search, the handover fails, and the user experience is poor can be caused. In order to solve the problem, the present disclosure provides a network handover method and a base station. The following detailed description is made with reference to the accompanying drawings which respectively illustrate embodiments provided by the present disclosure.
Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a network handover method provided in an embodiment of the present disclosure. The network switching method can be applied to a base station, namely, a base station to which the terminal is currently connected. As shown in fig. 1, the network handover method provided in this embodiment includes the following steps.
Step S101, receiving a switching request sent by a terminal.
Step S102, obtaining the service parameter in the switching request.
And step S103, determining the target base station and the network slice identifier in the target base station according to the service parameters.
And step S104, sending a switching indication message to the terminal.
The switching indication message comprises the identification of the target base station and the identification of the network slice. The terminal simultaneously connects a plurality of network slices before handover, and the terminal simultaneously performs a plurality of services. And the terminal sends a switching request to the base station connected currently because the current signal strength or signal quality can not meet the requirement in the moving process.
In the network switching method provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, a base station receives a switching request sent by a terminal, acquires service parameters therein, determines a target base station according to the service parameters, determines an identifier of a network slice that can support a corresponding service in the terminal in the target base station, and sends a switching indication message carrying the identifier of the target base station and the identifier of the network slice to the terminal. And the terminal is connected with the corresponding target base station according to the identifier of the target base station and is connected with the corresponding network slice according to the identifier of the network slice. According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal connected with the plurality of network slices can find the appropriate target base station, successfully switch the target base station and the corresponding network slice, and improve user experience.
Fig. 2 illustrates an alternative implementation manner of step S103 in fig. 1 provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure. Further, the service parameters include a type of a network slice currently connected to the terminal and an identifier of a current service of the terminal, as shown in fig. 2, in step S103, determining the identifier of the target base station and the identifier of the network slice in the target base station according to the service parameters includes:
step S201, a first candidate base station is determined according to the network slice type of the current connection of the terminal.
In this step, the base station determines a first candidate base station capable of providing a network slice type to which the terminal is currently connected, the first candidate base station including at least two base stations.
Step S202, a target base station supporting all current services of the terminal is determined from the first candidate base station in response to the service identification, and the identification of the network slice supporting all current services of the terminal in the target base station is determined.
It should be noted that, because multiple network slices can be provided in the target base station, the identities of the network slices corresponding to all services in the terminal need to be found from the target base station, so that the terminal can access the appropriate network slice.
Fig. 3 illustrates another alternative implementation manner of step S103 in fig. 1 provided by an embodiment of the present disclosure. Further, as shown in fig. 3, the step S103, determining the target base station and the identifier of the network slice in the target base station according to the service parameter, further includes:
step S301, in response to that the target base station supporting all the current services of the terminal cannot be determined from the first candidate base stations, selects a second candidate base station from the first candidate base stations.
Step S302, selecting a target base station from the second candidate base stations.
Step S303, the identification of the network slice supporting the current corresponding service of the terminal in the target base station is determined.
In steps S301 to S303, if the target base station supporting all services of the terminal cannot be determined from the first candidate base station, the first candidate base station is secondarily divided into second candidate base stations, and the identifier of the network slice capable of supporting part of the services of the terminal is selected from the second candidate base stations.
It should be noted that, because multiple network slices can be provided in the target base station, the identifier of the network slice corresponding to the service in the terminal needs to be found from the target base station, so that the terminal accesses the appropriate network slice.
Further, in step S301, selecting a second candidate base station from the first candidate base stations includes: a second candidate base station supporting at least one service is determined from the first candidate base stations.
In this step, a second candidate base station that supports at least one of all services currently of the terminal is selected from the first candidate base stations.
Further, the service parameter includes a service priority, and the step S302 selects a target base station from the second candidate base stations, including: and selecting the target base station from the second candidate base stations according to the service priority and the number of services supported by each second candidate base station.
In the step, the second candidate base stations are ranked according to the service priority and the number of services supported by each second candidate base station, and the second candidate base station which is the most front in the sequence is obtained as the target base station. The service priority represents the importance of each service in the terminal. The specific sorting process is that the factors of the service priority are considered firstly, and then the factors of the number of the services supported by each second candidate base station are considered for sorting. For example, if all the current services of the terminal are service a, service B, and service C, the priority of the services is sequentially reduced, the services supported by the second candidate base station 1 are service a and service B, the services supported by the second candidate base station 2 are service B and service C, the services supported by the second candidate base station 3 are service a, and the services supported by the second candidate base station 4 are service C, the result of ranking the four second candidate base stations is the second candidate base station 1, the second candidate base station 3, the second candidate base station 2, and the second candidate base station 4.
In a preferred embodiment, after receiving the handover indication message, the terminal sends a handover message carrying an identifier of the target base station, an identifier of the network slice, and an IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber identity Number) of the terminal to the target base station, the target base station determines whether to allow the terminal to access according to slice resources that can be currently provided, and if so, searches for a frequency point corresponding to the identifier of the network slice, and sends the frequency point and the identifier of the target base station to a base station to which the terminal is currently accessed, and instructs the base station to which the terminal is currently accessed to send a handover instruction carrying the identifier of the target base station and the accessed frequency point to the terminal.
