Background
The turnover box is a storage device widely applied to links of transportation, distribution, storage and the like in logistics. However, the conventional transfer box is generally a simple frame, and can be used only as a member for storing articles, and the function is single, and when a user needs to take out a plurality of articles from the transfer box, the user often needs to count the articles while taking them out, so that the picking operation is troublesome.

A tote comprising a tote space for containing articles, the tote comprising:
one or more sub-containers located within the tote space, each sub-container comprising one or more sub-spaces, each sub-space configured to hold one of the items, each sub-space having an opening;
each of the subspaces including a storage state in which an opening of the subspace is blocked to prevent items contained within the subspace from falling out of the corresponding subspace; in the picking position, the opening of the sub-space is open to allow items within the sub-space to drop from the sub-space.
In some embodiments, each of the sub-boxes is movable between a storage position in which all subspaces of the sub-box are in a storage state and a picking position in which at least one subspace of the sub-box is in a picking state.
In some embodiments, the tote comprises a floor, the opening is located at the bottom of the sub-spaces, and in the storage state, the openings at the bottom of all the sub-spaces of the sub-boxes are blocked by the floor.
In some embodiments, each of the subspaces is for receiving a consumer minimum order unit of the item.

It should be noted that all directional indicators (such as upper, lower, left, right, front, back, inner, outer, top, bottom … …) in the embodiment of the present invention are only used to explain the relative position relationship between the components in a specific posture (as shown in the figure), and if the specific posture is changed, the directional indicator is changed accordingly.

As shown in fig. 2, each sub-box 30 comprises one or more sub-spaces 31, each sub-space 31 comprises a storage state and a picking state, and each sub-space 31 is provided with an opening 32 towards the bottom plate 10 and a side far away from the bottom plate 10, wherein the opening 32 at the side far away from the bottom plate 10 is used for throwing the articles into the sub-space 31, and the opening 32 at the side far towards the bottom plate 10 is used for dropping the articles in the sub-space 31. In the storage state, the opening 32 of the sub-space 31 is blocked by the bottom plate 10 to prevent the items contained in the sub-space 31 from falling from the corresponding sub-space 31; in the picking position, the openings 32 of the subspaces 31 are in an open position to allow items within the subspaces 31 to fall out of the openings 32 of the respective subspaces 31. When the sub-boxes 30 are moved to the storage position, the sub-spaces 31 of all sub-boxes 30 are in the storage state, i.e. the openings 32 of the sub-spaces 31 of all sub-boxes 30 are blocked by the floor 10, and when the sub-boxes 30 are moved to the picking position, at least one sub-space 31 of the sub-boxes 30 is in the picking state, i.e. at least one opening 32 of the sub-space 31 is not blocked by the floor 10. Because each sub-space 31 has two states of storage and picking, when the sub-box 30 moves to the storage position, the openings 32 of all the sub-spaces 31 of the sub-box 30 are blocked by the bottom plate 10, the sub-box 30 can be used for storing articles, when the sub-box 30 moves to the picking position, at least one opening 32 of one sub-space 31 of the sub-box 30 is not blocked by the bottom plate 10, the articles in the sub-space 31 can fall out of the opening 32, and therefore the corresponding articles can be picked, and the functions of the turnover box 1 are enriched.
The above-mentioned blocking of the opening 32 by the bottom plate 10 may mean that the whole opening 32 is blocked by the bottom plate 10, or that a part of the opening 32 is blocked by the bottom plate 10, and the article in the subspace 31 can be blocked as long as the article cannot fall out of the opening 32, so that the bottom plate 10 may be a solid plate blocking the whole opening 32, or a mesh plate blocking only a part of the opening 32.
In this embodiment, each sub-space 31 is used for accommodating one part of the item, and all the sub-spaces 31 in the same sub-box 30 accommodate the same item, and the sub-spaces 31 of different sub-boxes 30 can accommodate the same item, and can also accommodate different items, and one part of the item located in one sub-space 31 constitutes a lowest order unit of a consumer for the item, that is, when the consumer orders related items, the order number of the consumer must be an integral multiple of the one part of the item, therefore, when the order number of the consumer is multiple, as long as the order sub-box 30 is driven to move to the sorting position, and the sub-spaces 31 with the same number as the order number are in the sorting state, the ordered number of the items required by the consumer can be sorted, and the sorting operation is simplified because the items do not need to be sorted and counted.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, each container 1 comprises four sub-containers 30, each sub-container 30 in turn comprising four subspaces 31, so that a container 1 can contain sixteen articles, and all the subspaces 31 are of the same size. In other embodiments, the number of the sub-boxes 30 included in each container 1 and the number of the sub-spaces 31 included in each sub-box 30 may be other numbers, and the sizes of all the sub-spaces 31 of the same sub-box 30 and/or the sizes of the sub-spaces 31 of different sub-boxes 30 may also be different, and both the number of the sub-spaces 31 and the sizes of the sub-spaces 31 may be selected according to the number and the sizes of the accommodated articles, so that when one container 1 needs to accommodate a larger number of articles and a smaller volume, the number of the sub-boxes 30 or the sub-spaces 31 included in each sub-box 30 may be correspondingly increased, and when the number of the accommodated articles is smaller and the volume is larger, the volume of the sub-spaces 31 may be correspondingly increased.
The bottom plate 10 can be polygonal, circular or elliptical, and meanwhile, the bottom plate 10 can be a complete plate, and all the sub-boxes 30 in the turnover box space 40 are supported by one plate; the base plate 10 may also be a plurality of individual panels, with a panel supporting a respective sub-tank 30. In the embodiment shown in fig. 3, the bottom plate 10 is a complete plate and is substantially rectangular, four side portions 20 are provided, four side portions 20 extend from four sides of the bottom plate 10, and the four side portions 20 are perpendicular to the bottom plate 10, the bottom plate 10 and the four side portions 20 enclose a container space 40, that is, the bottom plate 10 and the four side portions 20 together define the container space 40. One side 20 is provided with one or more drawer openings 21 corresponding to one or more sub-boxes 30, i.e. the number of drawer openings 21 is the same as the number of sub-boxes 30 and corresponds one to one, respectively, and each drawer opening 21 extends through the side 20 to communicate with the transfer container space 40, so that each sub-box 30 can be drawn in and out from the corresponding drawer opening 21 to move between a storage position and a picking position. The side parts 20 are arranged on the four sides of the bottom plate 10, and then the drawer opening 21 for the sub-box 30 to pass through is arranged on one side part 20, so that the problem that the outer sub-box 30 falls down due to the action of external force can be avoided, and the stability of the sub-box 30 is enhanced.
Since the side portion 20 is to prevent the sub-tank 30 from falling down by an external force, its specific shape and form may not be limited. For example, the plate can be a solid or hollow plate, and can also be a column.
A plurality of partitions 50 are provided in the transfer box space 40 to divide the transfer box space 40 into a plurality of transfer box spaces 41, and each sub-box 30 is accommodated in a corresponding transfer box space 41. By arranging the partition boards 50 in the turnover box space 40, the turnover box space 40 is divided into a plurality of turnover box spaces 41, and each subbox 30 can be arranged in one independent turnover box space 41, so that the problem that the subbox 30 influences the adjacent subboxes 30 in the moving process can be avoided. The number of the partitions 50 is selected according to the number of the sub-boxes 30, in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, three partitions 50 are provided, and three partitions 50 are spaced and parallel to two opposite side portions 20, the drawer opening 21 is located between two adjacent partitions 50 or between one side portion 20 and one partition 50 adjacent to the side portion 20, the three partitions 50 divide the turnover box space 40 into four turnover box spaces 41, and the four sub-boxes 30 are respectively accommodated in the four turnover box spaces 41.
The outer side of the side plate is provided with a part 60 to be grabbed, and the part 60 to be grabbed can be used for being grabbed by workers or robots, so that the transfer box 1 and articles in the transfer box 1 can be conveniently carried and transferred. In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the portion to be grasped 60 is a protruding strip disposed on the outer side of the side portion 20, and there are two protruding strips, and the two protruding strips are disposed on the outer sides of the two side portions 20 opposite to the partition 50. In other embodiments, the portion to be grasped 60 may also be a recessed portion.
A handle portion 70 is provided on the outside of each sub-box 30 for grasping by a drawing mechanism to perform a drawing action of the sub-box 30 between the storage position and the picking position. By providing the handle portion 70, the drawing mechanism can grasp the corresponding sub-box 30 conveniently for drawing. It will be appreciated that the extraction mechanism may be a worker or a robot. In the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the handle portion 70 is a protrusion protruding from the side of the sub-box 30 facing the drawer opening 21.
In another embodiment as shown in fig. 4, the turnover box 2 includes a bottom plate 201 and two side plates 202 extending from two opposite sides of the bottom plate 201, a turnover box space 203 is defined between the bottom plate 201 and the two side plates 202, that is, the bottom plate 201 and the two side plates 202 together enclose the turnover box space 203, and the outer sides of the two side plates 202 are provided with positions to be grabbed 204. With this arrangement, the sub-tank 205 can be moved between the storage position and the picking position by a drawing action in a direction in which the side plate is not provided.
In yet another embodiment shown in fig. 5, no partition is provided in the container space 301 of the container 3, but a plurality of sliding grooves 303 are provided on the bottom plate 302, and each sub-container 304 is slidably supported on the bottom plate 302 along a corresponding sliding groove 303. By mounting the sub-boxes 304 in the slide grooves 303, the sub-boxes 304 can slide along the slide grooves 303, and the groove walls of the slide grooves 303 limit the position in the direction perpendicular to the slide grooves 303, so that the sub-boxes 304 can be separated from each other, and the adjacent sub-boxes 304 are prevented from being influenced by each other.
In the above embodiment, making the subspace 31 in the storage state or the picking state is realized by drawing the subtank 30. In other embodiments, it may be implemented in other ways. For example, the sub-box 30 may be fixed to the side portion 20, and the base 10 may be slidably coupled to the side portion 20 or the sub-box 30, so that the corresponding sub-space 31 may be in a storage state or a picking state by drawing the base 10.

1. A transfer container comprising a container space for accommodating articles, characterized in that the transfer container comprises:
one or more sub-containers located within the tote space, each sub-container comprising one or more sub-spaces, each sub-space configured to hold one of the items, each sub-space having an opening;
each of the subspaces including a storage state in which an opening of the subspace is blocked to prevent items contained within the subspace from falling out of the corresponding subspace; in the picking position, the opening of the sub-space is open to allow items within the sub-space to drop from the sub-space.
2. The transfer case of claim 1, wherein each subbox is movable between a storage position in which all subspaces of the subbox are in a storage state and a picking position in which at least one subspaces of the subbox are in a picking state.
3. The transfer container of claim 1, wherein the transfer container includes a bottom panel, the opening is located at the bottom of the sub-spaces, and in the storage state, the openings at the bottom of all the sub-spaces of the sub-container are blocked by the bottom panel.
4. The tote of claim 1, wherein each of the subspaces is for holding a consumer minimum order unit of the item.
