The prior rod-shaped product caching device mainly has two types of first-in last-out and first-in first-out, and has certain defects. The existing buffer device for the rod-shaped products which enter the buffer device first has the main defects that the rod-shaped products which enter the buffer device first stay in the device for a long time, the quality is easy to be damaged, and the product quality of the whole production line is not traceable. The existing first-in first-out rod-shaped product caching device or the length of a conveying path cannot be adjusted, and the purpose of caching can be achieved only by adjusting the conveying speed of rod-shaped products in the caching device, so that an ultra-long conveying path needs to be arranged, and the equipment is large in size; or the length specification of the rod-shaped product is difficult to adjust, so that the adaptability of the rod-shaped product is reduced, and the rod-shaped product is conveyed in the annular channel, and one end of the inner side of the rod-shaped product is extruded, so that the product defects of tobacco shred falling, roundness reduction and the like are easy to occur.
