Description

Hand-held electric hair drier with side air inlet
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of hand-held household appliances, in particular to a side-inlet hand-held hair dryer for hair care and hair drying appliances such as hair dryers and heat-setting brushes.
Background
Based on the characteristic that the hair dryer can be rapidly shaped and dried, the hair dryer has a large audience group. The fan unit in the blower can suck air flow from an air inlet of the blower and send the sucked air flow out from an air outlet opposite to the air inlet, so that the drying purpose is achieved. Additionally, hot air blowers (such as heat styling brushes) are used to style hair in either a wet or dry condition. The air outlet of the blower can be connected with an air nozzle, the air speed of the air flow can be improved through the air nozzle, the air flow can be concentrated, and the purpose of modeling is achieved.
The most important performance for a hair dryer is comfort and safety, and it is generally difficult to compromise both with current hair dryers. Particularly, for the travelling comfort, the most direct problem is the time of hair drying, for the great women of hair volume, often dry the hair and need the time of ten minutes to still need swing, the removal hair-dryer that must not stop blow-dry in-process, waste time and energy, lead to the arm hard, influence and use experience. There are no two ways to dry hair quickly, either to raise the temperature or to increase the air volume. The first approach, commonly used by conventional hair dryers, is to increase the temperature to shorten the time required to dry the hair. But high temperatures are prone to safety issues: the hair is baked to be dry, scales and branches are generated, and the scalp is damaged at high temperature. The second way is to increase the air volume only by increasing the motor to drive a larger fan, but the weight and noise of the hair dryer are increased, and the experience is more affected.
Chinese patent CN201131424Y discloses a side-inlet air blower, which includes a casing, an air inlet is provided on the casing, a fan blade is blown from the air inlet, the air inlet is provided on both sides of the casing, after the motor is started, the air enters from the air inlets on both sides simultaneously, the air volume is large, the motor is mounted on a support connected with one end of the fan blade, therefore, the motor does not block the wind direction, and the air enters into the casing directly along the air duct. The invention provides a method for changing the flow path of wind by changing the position of the air inlet of the hair drier, thereby reducing the power consumption of the hair drier. However, the hair dryer also has a problem of loud noise during use and has a low energy utilization rate. US5875562A discloses another widely used side entry blower which mounts a motor within a handle portion and is connected in driving relationship to an impeller by a long vertical shaft to minimize sound and vibration in the handle portion. The large impeller of the present invention blows air downward from the large top air inlet and then passes it outward through the side air outlet to dry the hair. However, the invention is only suitable for low-speed fans (speed of 20000 rpm or less).
Disclosure of Invention
The invention mainly solves the technical problem of providing a side air inlet handheld electric hair drier which can provide high-pressure jet air flow and reduce wind noise.
In order to solve the technical problem, one technical solution adopted by the present invention is to provide a side-intake hand-held hair dryer, which comprises a main body and a handle, wherein the main body comprises a main fluid outlet, a fan unit, a heating element and a fluid flow path. The fluid flow path includes a main fluid path and a side path. The fan unit is disposed in the main fluid path, the fan unit drawing fluid into the main fluid path and transporting fluid through the heating element such that fluid in the main fluid path is heated and exits from a main fluid outlet. The axial direction of the fan unit is parallel to the main fluid path. The main fluid path and the side path meet before the air intake end of the fan unit. The side path draws fluid through the main fluid path into the fan unit. The port of the side path includes a first aperture including a plurality of apertures extending at least partially around an outer wall of the body.
Generally, a fan unit driven by a digital high-speed motor sucks air fluid to provide high-pressure jet air flow, negative pressure is formed if the air fluid at the front end of the fan unit is not sufficiently supplemented, disturbance is caused to the air flow discharged from the rear end of the fan unit, on one hand, the air outlet speed per unit area is reduced, and on the other hand, large air noise is generated due to air flow disturbance and transverse friction. The side path of the side air inlet hand-held electric hair drier is converged with the main fluid path, and the converged position is at the front end of the fan unit where the fluid enters. The side path increases a path for supplementing air fluid, on one hand, the air supplementing speed is increased to reduce negative pressure so as to realize airflow balance, and on the other hand, airflow disturbance on the main flow outlet is eliminated so as to reduce air noise.
In a preferred embodiment, the lateral path comprises at least two corners. The side path is perpendicular to the main fluid path.
In a preferred embodiment, the two corners are approximately right angles.
In a preferred embodiment, the two corners are symmetrically disposed on the lateral path.
In a preferred embodiment, the outer wall of the body proximate the primary fluid outlet comprises a second aperture comprising a plurality of apertures extending at least partially around the body.
In a preferred embodiment, the body further comprises a wall defining a path, the second aperture connecting the wall defining the path.
In a preferred embodiment, the first holes are symmetrically arranged at both sides of the body, and are respectively connected with the lateral paths.
In a preferred embodiment, the handle is connected to the fan unit at a location on the main body.
In a preferred embodiment, a power cable for supplying power to the fan unit extends through an end of the handle.
In a preferred embodiment, the heating element extends along the body to the primary fluid outlet.
In a preferred embodiment, the body further comprises a duct and an outer wall, the duct extending within the outer wall, the space extending between the duct and the outer wall providing the wall defining the path.
In a preferred embodiment, the wall defines a path that is annular.

As shown in fig. 2 (the direction of the dotted arrow indicates the fluid flow direction), the fluid flow path 104 includes a main fluid path 1041, a side path 1042, and a wall defining path 1043. The fan unit 102 is disposed in the main fluid path 1041, and the fan unit 102 draws fluid into the main fluid path 1041 and transports the fluid through the heating element 103 such that the fluid in the main fluid path 1041 is heated and exits from the main fluid outlet 105. The axial direction of the fan unit 102 is parallel to the main fluid path 1041. The main fluid path 1041 and the side path 1042 meet before the air intake end of the fan unit 102. The body 10 further comprises a duct extending within the outer wall and an outer wall, the space extending between the duct and the outer wall providing the wall defining the path. The wall defines a path that is annular. The primary fluid inlet 101 includes a third aperture 1011, and the third aperture 1011 includes a plurality of apertures.
Example 2
Fig. 5 is a side view of the hand-held electric hair dryer with side air intake in embodiment 2 of the present invention. Only the differences between embodiment 2 and embodiment 1 will be described below, and the descriptions of the similarities will be omitted.
The port first hole 1061 of the side path 1042 is provided at the top of the body 10.
While the invention has been described above with reference to certain embodiments, various modifications may be made and equivalents may be substituted for elements thereof without departing from the scope of the invention. In particular, the various features of the various embodiments of the present disclosure may be used in any combination, provided that there is no structural conflict, and the combination is not exhaustively described in this specification for brevity and resource conservation. Therefore, it is intended that the invention not be limited to the particular embodiments disclosed, but that the invention will include all embodiments falling within the scope of the appended claims.
