Description

Chair (Ref. TM. chair)
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a chair according to the preamble of claim 1.
Background
A chair of the type mentioned at the outset is known from DE 102007059985B 3. The chair comprises a chair base body, on which a seat and a backrest connected to the seat by means of a synchronization mechanism are movably supported, wherein a spring is provided which presses the seat into an initial position of the chair, and a support which is rotatably supported on the chair base body, wherein the support is designed to interact with the seat and has a support surface, on which one end of the spring can be positioned in different positions in order to adjust the acting spring force. In said solution, the bearing surface of the holder has a so-called locking recess, with which the locking pin cooperates. In order to adjust the desired spring force, the locking pin is moved accordingly by means of two plain bearings and a complex planetary gear.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the invention is to improve a chair of the type mentioned at the outset. In particular, a chair with a structurally less complex spring force mechanism for the adjustment action should be provided.
This object is achieved by a chair of the type mentioned at the outset with the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1.
According to the invention, the adjusting element is provided for the purpose of fixing the position of the one end of the spring on the bearing surface, i.e. for transmitting only tensile forces.
In other words, the solution according to the invention is thus characterized in that the position fixing is performed by means of an adjusting element, which is pulled on the spring or on the end of the spring by means of the adjusting element, in order to adjust the desired acting spring force accordingly. The adjusting element, which is explained in more detail below, is particularly preferably designed as a chain or rope, i.e., a technically flexible element, since this element is not particularly suitable for transmitting pressure forces or torques. The use of the adjusting element at the same time makes it possible to provide a relatively simple adjusting mechanism for actuating the adjusting element, which is likewise explained in more detail below.
Further advantageous further developments of the chair according to the invention result from the dependent claims.
For the sake of completeness, reference is also made to the solution according to EP 1440632 Bl, wherein, however, the general problem is that a wobble is caused under the load of the chair, that is to say when the teeth of the spring guide latch into the locking recesses of the toothed rack.
Drawings
The following drawings, which are based on preferred embodiments, illustrate in detail a chair according to the invention, comprising advantageous further solutions according to the dependent claims.

Detailed Description
The chair shown in fig. 1 to 14 comprises a chair base 1, which is initially mounted in a known manner, preferably with legs 20, on which a seat 2 and a backrest 3 connected to the seat 2 via a synchronizing mechanism are movably supported, wherein a spring 4 is provided, which presses the seat 2 into an initial position of the chair, and a support 5 is rotatably supported on the chair base 1, wherein the support 5 is designed to interact with the seat 2 and has a support surface 5.1, on which the ends of the spring 4 can be positioned in different positions in order to adjust the acting spring force.
As can be seen from the figures, in this case, two, particularly preferably two seat carriers 10 are provided, which are connected to one another by a connecting element 7, wherein the chair base body 1 is arranged between the two seat carriers 10 and the connecting element 7 is mounted on the chair base body 1 in a displaceable manner.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that a backrest carrier 9 which can be pivoted about a horizontal axis is supported on the chair base body 1.
The backrest carrier 9 and the two seat carriers 10 are preferably connected to one another here by two swivel joints 11 with a horizontal axis, which are movable independently of the chair base 1.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the connecting element 7, which is operatively connected to the seat 2 via the seat carrier 10, is designed to be operatively connected to the support 5 for the spring 4.
It is then important for the chair that the adjusting element 6 which transmits only the tensile force is provided for fixing the position of the end of the spring 4 on the bearing surface 5.1. As already mentioned above, this condition makes it possible to provide a chair that can be adjusted very precisely.
More specifically, it is particularly preferably provided that the adjusting element 6 is optionally designed as a chain (see fig. 1 to 14) or as a cable (not otherwise shown).
For guiding the adjusting element 6, a groove 16 is particularly preferably provided in the support 5 (see fig. 9 in particular for this purpose). The groove is formed to be wider than the adjusting element 6, so that it is supported in the groove 16 so as to be laterally displaceable.
Furthermore, it is particularly preferred to provide an adjusting wheel 17 for adjusting the adjusting element 6 on the support 5, which adjusting wheel has an axis of rotation that extends horizontally in the upright position of the chair (i.e. in the use position). In this case, it is also particularly preferably provided that the adjusting wheel 17 is arranged on a rotary shaft 22 which is rotatably mounted on the support 5, if necessary.
As can be seen from the figures, it is furthermore provided that the support 5 is designed to interact on the one hand with a connecting element 7 connected to the front edge of the seat 2 and on the other hand with the end of the spring 4. In this case, it is particularly preferably provided that the connecting element 7 interacting with the abutment 5 is designed to be guided in the longitudinal guide 8 and, in the initial position of the seat, is arranged in the uppermost position of the longitudinal guide 8.
More specifically, it is seen that it is particularly preferably provided that the longitudinal guides 8 for the connecting elements 7 are designed in the upright position of the chair so as to be inclined downward, as viewed from the front edge of the seat 2 in the direction of the backrest 3.
In addition, it is particularly preferably provided for the longitudinal guide 8 to be formed so as to be inclined downward at an angle of approximately 10 ° relative to the horizontal in the upright position of the chair, starting from the front edge of the seat 2, toward the backrest 3. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the longitudinal guide 8 is of semicircular design at its two ends which are adapted to the cylindrical rod-shaped connecting element 7.
With regard to the spring 4 mentioned at the beginning, it is particularly preferably optionally embodied as a compression spring and/or a telescopic guide 14 is arranged in the interior of said spring, it being furthermore particularly preferably provided that one end of the spring 4 is embodied as a connection to the bearing 5 and the other end of the spring 4 is connected to a rotary bearing 12 provided on the chair base 1. More specifically, it is seen that the spring 4 is here configured to be rotatably supported about a horizontal axis about a rotary support 12.
As can also be seen from the figures, it is particularly preferred for a predetermined prestress to arrange a second spring 18, preferably likewise embodied as a compression spring, between the connecting element 7 and the chair base 1, in the interior of which a telescopic guide 19 is preferably likewise arranged. It is thereby advantageously achieved in the end that the adjustable spring 4 and thus also the support 5 are dimensioned to be smaller. However, this results in particular in a basic stress which, despite the seat load, keeps the chair in the front position, so that the spring force can be varied, specifically without locking the adjustment (see locking wheel and locking element).
As can also be seen from the figures, it is particularly preferably provided that the longitudinal axes of the spring 4 and of the second spring 18 (along which compensation of the spring is effected) lie in planes which are parallel to one another.
It is more particularly seen that the swivel bearing 15 is particularly preferably arranged on the chair base 1 for the purpose of fixing the aforementioned support 5 (see in particular fig. 10 for this purpose). Furthermore, the swivel bearing 15 is arranged at the end of the support 5 facing away from the seat, which swivel bearing preferably has a horizontal axis of rotation in the upright position of the chair.
It is furthermore preferably provided that the rotary bearing 15 is configured to be arranged on one end of the support 5 and the connecting element 7 is configured to be fitted on the other end of the support 5.
Furthermore, it is particularly preferably provided that the aforementioned bearing surface 5.1 of the support 5, which is preferably divided into two elongated partial surfaces by the aforementioned groove 16, is concavely curved in the direction of the spring 4. Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the spring 4 is designed to rest on the bearing surface 5.1 at its end on the bearing side by means of a slide 13 that can be moved relative to the bearing surface 5.1. For this purpose, it is also particularly preferably provided that the slide 13, which is preferably designed in a fixed connection with the adjusting element 6, is designed to be convexly curved on the support side in a manner adapted to the bearing surface 5.1.
It follows from the drawing that the rotation of the support 5 about its rotary bearing 15 causes the compression of the spring 4. It is furthermore particularly preferably provided that, in a predetermined movement of the connecting element 7, the position of the spring 4 close to the rotary bearing 15 of the bearing 5 results in a smaller compression of the spring 4 than the position of the spring 4 remote from the rotary bearing 15.
In addition, it is particularly preferably provided that the bearing surface 5.1, viewed in both adjustment directions of the spring 4, is provided with a stop for the spring 4 or the carriage 13, respectively.
In order to transmit the force from the seat 2 and acting on the spring 4, a force transmission device 21 is furthermore arranged between the connecting element 7 and the support 5. As is apparent in particular from fig. 7 and 8 and the following description, the force transmission device serves to transmit forces from the connecting element 7 to the bearing 5, always parallel to the longitudinal guide 8 and thus practically without losses, by means of the further-described toothing of the force transmission device 21.
More specifically, it is provided that the carrier 5 has a first toothing 5.2 with preferably at least three teeth on the force transmission device side, the force transmission device 21 has a second toothing 21.1 with preferably at least four teeth on the carrier side, and the two toothings 5.2, 21.1 are each formed to be convexly curved toward one another and at least partially mesh with one another.
It is also particularly preferably provided that the support 5 is embodied in an arcuate, in particular circular-arc-shaped manner and that the toothing 5.2 on the force transmission device side is arranged on the convex outer side of said support and that the bearing surface 5.1 for the spring 4 is arranged on the concave inner side of the support 5.
As can also be seen from the figures, it is furthermore preferably provided that the force transmission device 21 is mounted on the connecting element 7 so as to be rotatable about an axis which is oriented horizontally in the upright position of the chair. It is also more particularly seen that it is particularly preferably provided here that the force transmission means 21 has a cylindrical, in particular so-called rod through-hole, which surrounds the connecting element 7.
Furthermore, it is preferably provided that the force transmission means 21 is formed by two parts each having a second tooth 21.1, between which a free space 6 for the adjusting element is present.
As is shown with reference to the figures, it is furthermore particularly preferably provided that the movement of the connecting element 7 is designed to cause a movement and a rotation of the force transmission device 21. Furthermore, it is provided that the displacement and rotation of the force transmission means 21 are designed to cause the rotation of the carrier 5 about its rotary bearing 15.
Furthermore, it is particularly preferably provided that the adjusting element 6, which is preferably closed on itself, is designed to be guided around the bearing 5 or that it is also preferably designed to surround an adjusting wheel 17, which will be described below.
As can be seen from the figures, the adjusting wheel 17 is particularly preferably designed as a sprocket wheel (see also https:// de. wikipedia. org/w/index. pt. tile. Kettenrad & oldid. 177726929 for this purpose). Alternatively (not shown in addition), it is provided that the adjusting element 6 is designed as a cable, in particular a wire cable, and that the adjusting wheel 17 has a guide groove which cooperates with the cable and makes it impossible for the cable to slip (furthermore, for example, a cylinder or the like can be arranged on the cable, said cylinder preventing slipping on the adjusting wheel 17). In both solutions, it is preferably provided that the adjusting wheel 17 has an axis of rotation which extends parallel to the rotary bearing 15 of the carrier 5.
For actuating the adjusting wheel 17, an adjusting mechanism is furthermore particularly preferably provided, to which in particular the above-mentioned rotary shaft 22 belongs.
It is furthermore preferably provided for the rotational axis to be mounted on a support 5 so as to be movable between two axial positions.
Furthermore, a spring element 23 is particularly preferably provided here for moving the rotational shaft 22 into the first axial position. Furthermore, it is particularly preferred to provide a first locking element 22.1 on the rotational shaft 22, which is designed to interact in a first axial position with a second locking element 5.3 provided on the bearing 5. In this case, the two locking elements 22.1, 5.3 are particularly preferably each designed as crown gear teeth (see also https:// de. wikipedia. org/w/index. ptile. picttile. kronerad & oldid. 174349785 for this purpose). As can be seen in particular from fig. 9 and 10, it is particularly preferably provided that the crown gear toothing is designed as a sawtooth toothing, to be precise that any movement of the carriage 13 on the bearing surface 5.1 in the direction of the pivot bearing 15 is reliably prevented.
Furthermore, an adjusting lever 24 is preferably provided, which is operatively connected to the rotational shaft 22. Furthermore, an adjusting mechanism is preferably provided for the axial displacement of the rotary shaft 22 into the second axial position. The adjusting mechanism is preferably formed here by a pin 24.1 arranged on the adjusting lever 24 and a cam guide 22.2 arranged on the rotary shaft 22 and interacting with the pin 24.1. Further, the rotation shaft 22 preferably has a through hole through which a portion of the adjustment lever 24 passes. Furthermore, the adjusting lever 24 is preferably mounted on the bearing 5 in a rotatable, but axially immovable manner.
As can be seen from the drawing, a rotational movement of the adjusting lever 24 is thereby achieved, the bolt 24.1 moving along the wall of the curved guide 22.2. This in turn leads to the described axial displacement of the rotary shaft 22 and thus to the two locking elements 22.1, 5.3 being released from one another, which in turn leads to the adjustment wheel 17 being able to be rotated and thus to the adjustment of the slide 13.
Since the displacement of the carriage 13 on the support 5 becomes increasingly difficult with increasing compression of the spring 4, it is furthermore particularly preferred to provide a locking mechanism which prevents the rotation of the rotation shaft 22 under load of the chair. The locking mechanism is particularly preferably formed here by a locking wheel 26 connected in a rotationally fixed, but preferably axially displaceable manner to the rotary shaft 22 and a locking element 27 which is mounted in a displaceable manner on the support 5, is spring-loaded and interacts with the locking wheel 26 (if the locking element 27 is of sufficiently wide design as in the exemplary embodiment shown, it can be dispensed with here that the locking wheel 26 is designed to be mounted in an axially displaceable manner on the rotary shaft 22). It is also preferably provided here that the locking element 27 is configured to interact with the chair base 1 when the chair is unloaded and the locking wheel 26 is released and the locking wheel 26 is locked when the chair is loaded. As can be seen in particular from fig. 13 and 14, it is particularly preferably provided that the locking wheel 26 has a toothed toothing, which in turn reliably prevents any movement of the carriage 13 on the bearing surface 5.1 in the direction of the pivot bearing 15.
Since the adjusting wheel 17 is preferably designed to be fixedly connected to the rotational shaft 22, it is furthermore preferably provided that the adjusting element 6 is designed to be mounted so as to be displaceable parallel to the rotational axis of the bearing 5, at least in the region of the adjusting wheel 17.
Finally, guide elements 28, preferably in the form of screws, which act on the adjusting element 6 from the outside, are preferably provided on both sides of the adjusting wheel 17, in each case, in order to ensure a good guidance of the adjusting element 6.
