Abstract
The invention provides a device for displaying a driving blind area of an automobile by projection, which comprises: the two eyeball tracking cameras are arranged at a sun shield in front of a driver and are used for positioning and tracking the eyeballs of the driver; the two blind area image cameras are arranged outside the automobile, are respectively positioned on the outer sides of the two A columns and are used for acquiring images of turning sectors in the oblique front of the automobile; the two micro projectors are arranged in the automobile, are respectively positioned above the two A columns and are used for projecting images; and the central processing module is arranged in the automobile, is in communication connection with the eyeball tracking camera, the blind area image camera and the micro projector, and is used for calculating the visual field range of the driver shielded by the A column and determining the projection content of the micro projector. The invention also provides a method for displaying the automobile driving blind area by the device for displaying the automobile driving blind area by projection, which is used for determining the projected image content of the A column blind area, and when the positions of the eyes of a driver move back and forth, the projected content can change along with the movement.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of projection, and particularly relates to a device and a method for displaying a driving blind area of an automobile in a projection manner.
Background
At present, when an existing automobile runs, if the existing automobile turns, the visual field of a driver at a turning position is shielded by pillars (A pillars) on two sides of a front windshield, and the condition of partial visual field of the automobile in the oblique front cannot be well observed. Even if a lot of experienced drivers move the body back and forth to obtain the visual field, the method is very inconvenient, most drivers cannot do the method, people or objects are often shielded by the A column when the drivers turn, and high danger and accident rate still exist.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is made to solve the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a device and a method for displaying a driving blind area of an automobile by projection.
The invention provides a device for displaying a driving blind area of an automobile in a projection manner, which is characterized by comprising the following components: the two eyeball tracking cameras are arranged at a sun shield in front of a driver and are used for positioning and tracking the eyeballs of the driver; the two blind area image cameras are arranged outside the automobile, are respectively positioned on the outer sides of the two A columns and are used for acquiring images of turning sectors in the oblique front of the automobile; the two micro projectors are arranged in the automobile, are respectively positioned above the two A columns and are used for projecting images; and the central processing module is arranged in the automobile, is in communication connection with the eyeball tracking camera, the blind area image camera and the micro projector, and is used for calculating the visual field range of the driver shielded by the A column and determining the projection content of the micro projector.
The invention also provides a method for displaying the automobile driving blind area by the device for displaying the automobile driving blind area in a projection manner, which is characterized by comprising the following steps: step 1, obtaining external images of the left front part and the right front part of an automobile through two blind area image cameras; step 2, positioning the eyeball position of the driver and tracking the eyeball direction through two eyeball tracking cameras; step 3, when the automobile turns, the central processing module calculates the visual field range shielded by the A column through the external image and the eyeball condition of the driver, and cuts the external image according to the visual field range shielded by the A column to obtain a blind area image; and 4, projecting the blind area image onto a corresponding A column through a micro projector to form a projection of the blind area of the A column, wherein the visual field of a window of a driver, the projection of the blind area of the A column and the visual field of a front windshield form a complete turning sector visual field, the visual field range of the driver shielded by the A column is calculated by positioning and tracking the eyeballs of the driver, the image content of the projection of the blind area of the A column is determined by a central processing module according to the angle of a line of three points of the driver, the A column and the visual field blind area, and the projection content can be changed along with the movement of the eyes of the driver when the positions of the eyes move.
Action and Effect of the invention
According to the device and the method for displaying the automobile driving blind area in a projection manner, the projection content of the micro projector can be determined according to the visual field range of the driver shielded by the A column, so that the driver can know the visual field condition of the blind area through the projection of the A column blind area projected from the inside of the automobile, the driving safety and the pedestrian safety can be guaranteed, and the probability of traffic accidents caused by turning blind areas is reduced.

Detailed Description
In order to make the technical means and functions of the present invention easy to understand, the present invention is specifically described below with reference to the embodiments and the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a block diagram of a device for displaying a driving blind area of a vehicle by projection in an embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 1, an apparatus 100 for displaying a blind driving area by projection of a vehicle according to the present embodiment includes an eye tracking camera 10, a blind area image camera 20, a micro-projector 30, and a central processing module 40.
Two eye tracking cameras 10 are provided at the sun visor in front of the driver for locating and tracking the eyes of the driver.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of a blind area image camera acquiring a blind area image according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 2, two blind area image cameras 20 are disposed outside the vehicle and located outside the two a pillars, respectively, for obtaining images of the turning sector in the oblique front of the vehicle.
The two micro projectors 30 are disposed inside the vehicle and above the two a pillars, respectively, for projecting images.
The central processing module 40 is disposed inside the automobile, and is in communication connection with the eyeball tracking camera 10, the blind area image camera 20 and the micro projector 30, and is used for calculating a visual field range of the driver blocked by the a-pillar and determining the projection content of the micro projector 30.
FIG. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method for displaying a blind area projection by using an apparatus for displaying a blind driving area by projection in an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, the method for displaying a blind driving area of an automobile by using a device for displaying a blind driving area of an automobile by projection according to the embodiment includes the following steps:
step 1, obtaining external images of the left front part and the right front part of an automobile through two blind area image cameras;
step 2, positioning the eyeball position of the driver and tracking the eyeball direction through two eyeball tracking cameras;
step 3, when the automobile turns, the central processing module calculates the visual field range shielded by the A column through the external image and the eyeball condition of the driver, and cuts the external image according to the visual field range shielded by the A column to obtain a blind area image;
and 4, projecting the blind area image to a corresponding A column through a micro projector to form a projection of the blind area of the A column, wherein the view of the window of the driver, the projection of the blind area of the A column and the view of the front windshield form a complete view of a turning sector.
The visual field range of the driver shielded by the A column is calculated by positioning and tracking the eyeball of the driver, the image content projected by the A column blind area is determined by the central processing module according to the angles of three points and a line of the driver, the A column and the visual field blind area, and when the position of the eyes of the driver moves back and forth, the projected content can change along with the movement.
Fig. 4 is a view of a turning view of a general automobile in the embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 4, the ordinary automobile turns and has a blind field of view in the a-pillar region.
Fig. 5 is a turning view after the device for displaying the driving blind area of the automobile by projection according to the embodiment of the invention is used.
As shown in fig. 5, after the device for displaying the driving blind area of the automobile by projection according to the present invention, the central processing module 40 determines the image content projected by the a-pillar blind area according to the three points and one line of the driver, the a-pillar and the vision blind area, and projects the image content at the a-pillar inside the automobile through the micro projector 30, and at this time, the window vision of the driver, the projection of the a-pillar blind area and the vision of the front windshield form a complete turning sector vision.
Effects and effects of the embodiments
According to the device and the method for displaying the automobile driving blind area in a projection manner, the projection content of the micro projector can be determined according to the visual field range of the driver shielded by the A column, so that the driver can know the visual field condition of the blind area through the projection of the A column blind area projected from the inside of the automobile, the driving safety and the pedestrian safety can be guaranteed, and the probability of traffic accidents caused by turning blind areas is reduced.

Claims (2)
1. A device for displaying a driving blind area of an automobile in a projection manner is characterized by comprising:
the two eyeball tracking cameras are arranged at a sun shield in front of a driver and are used for positioning and tracking the eyeballs of the driver;
the two blind area image cameras are arranged outside the automobile, are respectively positioned on the outer sides of the two A columns and are used for acquiring images of turning sectors in the oblique front of the automobile;
the two micro projectors are arranged in the automobile, are respectively positioned above the two A columns and are used for projecting images; and
the central processing module is arranged in the automobile, is in communication connection with the eyeball tracking camera, the blind area image camera and the micro projector and is used for calculating the visual range of a driver shielded by the A column and determining the projection content of the micro projector.
2. The method for displaying the blind driving area of the automobile by the device for displaying the blind driving area by projection according to claim 1, comprising the steps of:
step 1, obtaining external images of the left front part and the right front part of an automobile through two blind area image cameras;
step 2, positioning the eyeball position of the driver and tracking the eyeball direction through two eyeball tracking cameras;
step 3, when the automobile turns, the central processing module calculates the visual field range shielded by the A column through the external image and the eyeball condition of the driver, and cuts the external image according to the visual field range shielded by the A column to obtain a blind area image;
step 4, projecting the blind area image to a corresponding A column through the micro projector to form a column A blind area projection, wherein the window visual field of a driver, the column A blind area projection and the front windshield visual field form a complete turning sector visual field,
the central processing module determines the image content projected by the A column blind area according to the three points and one line of the driver, the A column and the visual field blind area, and when the position of the eyes of the driver moves back and forth, the projected content can change accordingly.
