The invention belongs to the technical field of epoxy resin coatings, and particularly relates to a single-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin and a preparation method thereof, wherein the structure of the obtained single-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin contains heterocyclic rings, benzene rings and epoxy groups, when in specific preparation, alcohol is put into a reaction kettle, the heating and the dissolution are uniform, then a catalyst is added into the kettle for reaction, a product obtained by the reaction, an emulsifier containing the epoxy groups and the epoxy resin are added into an emulsifying kettle, the heating and the dispersion are uniform, deionized water is dripped into the emulsifying kettle, and the product is obtained under the action of higher shearing force. Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of epoxy resin coatings, and particularly relates to a single-component thermosetting water-based epoxy resin.
Background
Currently, single-component epoxy baking varnish and composite fiber impregnating resin are main solvent type products. The single-component epoxy baking varnish and composite fiber impregnating resin are added with a large amount of solvent, so that the VOC emission is very high, and the environment is polluted; fire hazard exists in the transportation and use processes; the products use a large amount of powdery curing agent, and have serious bottom sinking phenomenon of the curing agent, which affects the quality.
Under the era of "oil to water" coatings, functional waterborne resins have also been developed gradually. The present aqueous single-component epoxy baking varnish is made up by using aqueous acrylic epoxy ester basically. The water-based single-component epoxy baking paint uses water-based acrylic epoxy ester, and has the defects of poor salt mist resistance, chemical resistance, poor chemical solvent resistance, large smell and the like of a paint film.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the defects of the prior art, the invention provides the single-component thermosetting water-based epoxy resin and the preparation method thereof, wherein the single-component thermosetting water-based epoxy resin has wide pigment and filler compatibility, is difficult to volatilize, has no solvent release, and is difficult to burn during transportation and processing; the cured product has the characteristics of good chemical resistance, difficult combustion, good impact resistance, good chemical and mechanical properties, good adhesive force and the like.
The purpose of the invention is realized by the following technical scheme:
a single-component thermosetting water-based epoxy resin has a structure with heterocyclic rings, benzene rings and epoxy groups.
A preparation method of a single-component thermosetting water-based epoxy resin comprises the following steps:
(1) putting alcohol into a reaction kettle, heating and dissolving the alcohol uniformly, adding a catalyst into the kettle for reaction, wherein the temperature of catalytic reaction is 30-120 ℃, and the time of catalytic reaction is 1-10 hours;
(2) adding the product obtained in the step (1), an emulsifier containing epoxy groups and epoxy resin into an emulsifying kettle, and heating and dispersing uniformly;
(3) and (4) dropwise adding deionized water into the emulsifying kettle, and obtaining the product under the action of higher shearing force.
Wherein the raw materials are respectively calculated according to the parts by weight: 900-5000 parts of epoxy resin, 50-500 parts of alcohol, 1-5 parts of catalyst, 90-560 parts of emulsifier containing epoxy groups and 1000-6800 parts of deionized water.
Wherein the epoxy resin is any one or a combination of two or more of bisphenol A epoxy, bisphenol F epoxy, phenolic aldehyde epoxy, ortho-hydroxy phenolic aldehyde epoxy and polyether glycidyl ether.
Wherein the alcohol is any one of polyether diol, polyether triol, trimethylolpropane, glycerol and sorbitol.
Wherein the catalyst is any one of boron trifluoride amine complex, boron trifluoride diethyl etherate complex and AEP.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following advantages:
the downstream application product can realize no solvation, the viscosity is adjusted to water, and the method is economical;
the product is safe in transportation and use;
the single-component product can be widely applied to industries such as composite material impregnation liquid, metal baking varnish and the like, and has excellent chemical resistance, difficult combustion, good impact resistance and good physical and mechanical properties after thermosetting.
Detailed Description
The present invention will be further described with reference to the following examples for better understanding, but the examples should not be construed to limit the scope of the present invention.
The reagents used in the following examples are all technical grade chemicals.
Example 1: the following is an embodiment of a method for preparing the one-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin, which comprises the following steps:
(1) putting 134g of trimethylolpropane into a reaction kettle, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly, putting 1.4g of boron trifluoride diethyl etherate into the reaction kettle, keeping the reaction temperature at 100 ℃, and preserving the heat for 3 hours;
(2) after the reaction is finished, adding 1850g of bisphenol A epoxy resin with the epoxy value of 0.51 and 185g of self-made epoxy emulsifier, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly;
(3) 1920g of deionized water is added into the reactant obtained in the step (2), and the product is obtained under the action of higher shearing force.
The color of the single-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin dispersion prepared by the embodiment is milky white, the fineness of the dispersion is 0.30 mu m, and the epoxy equivalent is 410.
Example 2: the following is an embodiment of a method for preparing the one-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin, which comprises the following steps:
(1) putting 134g of trimethylolpropane into a reaction kettle, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly, putting 1.4g of boron trifluoride diethyl etherate into the reaction kettle, keeping the reaction temperature at 110 ℃, and preserving the heat for 3 hours;
(2) after the reaction is finished, 2275g of bisphenol A epoxy resin with the epoxy value of 0.44 and 230g of self-made epoxy-terminated emulsifier are added, heated, stirred and dissolved uniformly;
(3) 2340g of deionized water is added into the reactant obtained in the step (2), and the product is obtained under the action of high shearing force.
The color of the single-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin dispersion prepared by the embodiment is milky white, the fineness is 0.32 mu m, and the epoxy equivalent is 495.
Example 3: the following is an embodiment of a method for preparing the one-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin, which comprises the following steps:
(1) putting 134g of trimethylolpropane into a reaction kettle, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly, putting 1.4g of boron trifluoride diethyl etherate into the reaction kettle, keeping the reaction temperature at 105 ℃ and preserving the temperature for 3 hours;
(2) after the reaction is finished, adding 4800g of bisphenol A epoxy resin with the epoxy value of 0.2 and 560g of self-made epoxy-terminated emulsifier, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly;
(3) 4872g of deionized water is added into the reactant obtained in the step (2), and the product is obtained under the action of higher shearing force.
The color of the single-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin dispersion prepared by the embodiment is milky white, the fineness of the dispersion is 0.45 mu m, and the epoxy equivalent is 1100.
Example 4: the following is an embodiment of a method for preparing the one-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin, which comprises the following steps:
(1) putting 440g of polyether T403 into a reaction kettle, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly, putting 1.5g of boron trifluoride diethyl etherate into the reaction kettle, keeping the reaction temperature at 110 ℃ for 3 hours;
(2) after the reaction is finished, 2275g of bisphenol A epoxy resin with the epoxy value of 0.44 and 230g of self-made epoxy-terminated emulsifier are added, heated, stirred and dissolved uniformly;
(3) 2611g of deionized water is added into the reactant obtained in the step (2), and the product is obtained under the action of higher shearing force.
The color of the single-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin dispersion prepared by the embodiment is milky white, the fineness is 0.31 mu m, and the epoxy equivalent is 440.
Example 5: the following is an embodiment of a method for preparing the one-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin, which comprises the following steps:
(1) putting 440g of polyether T403 into a reaction kettle, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly, putting 1.5g of boron trifluoride diethyl etherate into the reaction kettle, keeping the reaction temperature at 100 ℃ for 3 hours;
(2) after the reaction is finished, adding 1850g of phenolic epoxy resin with the epoxy value of 0.51 and 230g of self-made epoxy-terminated emulsifier, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly;
(3) 2235g of deionized water is added into the reactant obtained in the step (2), and the product is obtained under the action of higher shearing force.
The color of the single-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin dispersion prepared by the embodiment is milky white, the fineness is 0.36 mu m, and the epoxy equivalent is 460.
Example 6: the following is an embodiment of a method for preparing the one-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin, which comprises the following steps:
(1) putting 440g of polyether T403 into a reaction kettle, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly, putting 1.5g of boron trifluoride diethyl etherate into the reaction kettle, keeping the reaction temperature at 100 ℃ for 3 hours;
(2) after the reaction is finished, adding 4800g of bisphenol A epoxy resin with the epoxy value of 0.2 and 560g of self-made epoxy-terminated emulsifier, heating, stirring and dissolving uniformly;
(3) 5140g of deionized water is added into the reactant obtained in the step (2), and the product is obtained under the action of higher shearing force.
The color of the single-component thermosetting waterborne epoxy resin dispersion prepared by the embodiment is milky white, the fineness is 0.46 mu m, and the epoxy equivalent is 1150.
