Description

Network slice selection method and device, slice mapping system and network equipment
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for selecting a network slice, a slice mapping system, and a network device.
Background
Slice identification is the most important parameter in network slice technology, and typically uses S-nsai (Single Network Selection Assistance Information, single network slice selection assistance information) to uniquely identify one network slice, nsai identifying a group of network slices. S-NSSAI is a 32-bit integer comprising SST and SD, wherein SST (Slice/Service type) represents Slice/Service type, 8 bits total; SD (Slice Differentiator) as an optional field, the slice/service type can be supplemented for 24 bits in total to distinguish network slices for multiple subdivision scenarios under the same SST. The protocol specifies that 0-127 in the SST field is a standardized value range, 128-255 in the SST field and the SD field belong to an operator custom range, and the operator custom value is valid only in the home network.
In the roaming scenario across operators, for non-standardized S-nsais, both operators are required to negotiate one by one for making service to reach a mapping agreement, and the mapping agreement is updated in real time to the NSSF visiting the public land mobile network. Along with the diversification of 5G network slice service scenes, the one-to-one slice mapping mode increases negotiations and network maintenance workload of operators of both sides, finally influences slice selection of users in roaming scenes, and reduces user experience.

Detailed Description
In order to enable those skilled in the art to better understand the technical solutions of the present invention, the following describes in further detail a method and apparatus for selecting a network slice, a slice mapping system, and a network device according to the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.
Example 1:
as shown in fig. 1, the present embodiment provides a network slice selection method, which is applied to a slice mapping system, where the slice mapping system is connected to each operator system, and the method includes the following steps:
step 101, receiving first slice information sent by a home public land mobile network to which a roaming user belongs, wherein the first slice information comprises a slice identifier of a roaming slice subscribed by the roaming user, a service type and network resources required by a slice instance.
In this embodiment, the slice mapping system is connected to the systems of the operators a, B, and C, and if the user of the operator a roams to the network of the operator B, the home public land mobile network (i.e., the network of the operator a) to which the roaming user belongs sends the first slice information to the slice mapping system. Specifically, the operator a network sends the slice identifier, the service type, and the network resources required by the slice instance of the roaming slice subscribed by the roaming user to the slice mapping system. The number of slice identifiers in the first slice information is a plurality of, and each slice identifier corresponds to the service type and the network resource required by the slice instance. The network resources include at least transmission resources, computing resources, storage resources, and latency requirements. For example, in the first slice information shown in table 1, the service type of the slice identifier S-nsai_1 of the operator a network is eMBB, and the network resources required for the slice instance identified by the slice include transmission resources of 100Mbps, computing resources of 0.2T flow, storage resources of 300MB, delay requirements of 10ms, and the like. The operator A network sends the roaming multiple slice identifications signed by the user, the corresponding service types and the network resources required by the slice examples to the slice mapping system.
TABLE 1 first slice information
Step 102, receiving second slice information sent by the visited public land mobile network where the roaming user is currently located, where the second slice information includes all slice identifiers, service types, and network resources required by the slice instance of the roaming access allowed slice.
In this embodiment, the visited public land mobile network (i.e. operator B network) where the roaming user is currently located sends second slice information to the slice mapping system, where the second slice information includes all slice identifiers, service types, and network resources required by the slice instance for allowing roaming access to the slice by the operator B network. The number of slice identifiers in the second slice information is plural, and each slice identifier corresponds to its traffic type, network resources required for its slice instance. The network resources include at least transmission resources, computing resources, storage resources, and latency requirements. For example, in the second slice information shown in table 2, the service type of the operator B network with the slice identifier S-nsai_1 is eMBB, and the network resources required for the slice instance identified by the slice include 120Mbps as a transmission resource, 0.2TFLOPS as a calculation resource, 250MB as a storage resource, 12ms as a delay requirement, and the like. The operator B network transmits all the plurality of slice identifiers of the allowed roaming access slices, the corresponding service types and network resources required by the slice examples to the slice mapping system.
TABLE 2 second slice information
Step 103, comparing the service types and network resources of the first slice information and the second slice information, respectively obtaining two slice identifiers with the same service type and highest network resource matching degree from the first slice information and the second slice information, and constructing the two slice identifiers as mapping slices.
In this embodiment, the slice mapping system compares the service type and the network resource corresponding to each slice identifier in the first slice information with the service type and the network resource corresponding to each slice identifier in the second slice information. Specifically, the service type eMBB of the S-nsai_1 in the first slice information, the network resources required by the slice instance include 100Mbps of transmission resources, 0.2TFLOPS of calculation resources, 300MB of storage resources, and 10ms of delay requirement are respectively compared with the service types and network resources of the S-nsai_1 and S-nsai_2 in the second slice information, and then the service types and network resources of the S-nsai_2 in the first slice information are compared with the service types and network resources of the S-nsai_1 and S-nsai_2 in the second slice information until the comparison of all slice identifiers is completed. Considering that the more similar the network resources required by the slice examples are, the more similar the slice services can be obtained under the condition that the service types are the same, two slice identifiers with the same service type and highest network resource matching degree are respectively obtained from the first slice information and the second slice information, and the two slice identifiers are constructed as mapping slice pairs. For example, the service types of the S-NSSAI_1 of the operator A network and the S-NSSAI_1 of the operator B network are the same after comparison, and the two slices are formed into a mapping slice if the matching degree of the network resources is highest. The method is equivalent to that when the user is in the network of the operator B, the S-NSSAI_1 can obtain the equivalent slice service quality of the S-NSSAI_1 which is in the network of the operator A and is accessed to the network of the operator A, so that the mapping relation of slice identifiers among different operators can be quickly constructed by using the method of the embodiment aiming at the non-standardized non-uniform S-NSSAI, the user can conveniently select the slices in a roaming scene, and the user experience is improved.
Step 104, the mapping slice is sent to the visited public land mobile network to select a network slice for the roaming user.
In this embodiment, the slice mapping system sends the mapping slices (S-nsai_1 of the operator a network and S-nsai_1 of the operator B network) to the core network NSSF network element of the operator B network, so that the core network NSSF network element of the operator B network selects an optimal network slice for the roaming user according to the mapping slices (i.e. selects the S-nsai_1 of the operator B network as the slice to which the roaming user accesses), thereby providing an optimal slice service for the roaming user. It should be noted that, when the mapping slice acquired by the slice mapping system includes multiple sets of mapping slice pairs, for example, there are mapping slice pairs for each service type, the slice mapping system sends the acquired multiple sets of mapping slice pairs to a core network NSSF network element of the visited public land mobile network, and when the visited public land mobile network performs slice selection, the slice mapping system performs corresponding slice selection according to the actual service requirement of the user.
Furthermore, the home public land mobile network and the visited public land mobile network belong to different operators.
According to the network slice selection method provided by the embodiment, according to the first slice information sent by the home public land mobile network of the roaming user and the second slice information sent by the visiting public land mobile network, two slice identifiers with the same service type and highest network resource matching degree in the two slice information are matched, and the two slice identifiers are constructed as mapping slices, so that corresponding slice access is quickly selected for the user in the roaming scene of the cross-operator according to the mapping slices, and user experience is improved. And the slice mapping system automatically constructs mapping slices according to the actual roaming situation of the user, so that operators of both sides do not need to negotiate for non-standardized S-NSSAI to reach a mapping agreement, and the mapping agreement is updated to NSSF of the visiting public land mobile network in real time, thereby reducing the negotiating and network maintenance workload of the operators of both sides. Because the mapping slices constructed by the slice mapping system are acquired based on the same service type and the principle of highest network resource matching degree, the mapping slices are the optimal slices matched among different operators.
Example 2:
the embodiment provides a network slice selection method applied to a visited public land mobile network, which comprises the following steps:
step 201, receiving a registration request sent by a roaming user.
In this embodiment, the slice mapping system is connected to the systems of the operator a, the operator B, and the operator C, and when the user of the operator a roams to the operator B, the roaming user initiates a registration request to the operator B. Wherein the registration request includes a subscriber identity, e.g. an IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity ). The network of the operator a in this embodiment is a home public land mobile network to which the roaming user belongs, and the network of the operator B is a visited public land mobile network to which the roaming user currently belongs.
Step 202, a request for obtaining a roaming slice subscribed by the roaming user is sent to a home public land mobile network to which the roaming user belongs according to the registration request, so that the home public land mobile network sends first slice information to a slice mapping system, wherein the first slice information comprises a slice identifier, a service type and network resources required by a slice instance of the roaming slice subscribed by the roaming user.
In this embodiment, the operator B network sends a request for obtaining a roaming slice signed by the roaming user to the operator a network according to the registration request sent by the roaming user, where the operator B network sends the request for verifying the validity of the roaming of the user, and is further configured to trigger the operator a network to send first slice information to the slice mapping system.
Step 103, sending second slice information to the slice mapping system, wherein the second slice information comprises all the slice identifiers, service types and network resources required by the slice examples of the roaming access allowed slices.
In this embodiment, after the user roaming validity verification is passed, the operator B network sends the second slice information to the slice mapping system.
And 104, receiving the mapping slice sent by the slice mapping system, and selecting a slice corresponding to the slice identifier in the second slice information in the mapping slice as a slice accessed by the roaming user.
In this embodiment, the operator B network receives the mapping slice (e.g., the mapping slice is S-nsai_1 of the operator a network and S-nsai_1 of the operator B network) sent by the slice mapping system, and selects a slice corresponding to the slice identifier (i.e., S-nsai_1 of the operator B network) belonging to the second slice information in the mapping slice as the slice accessed by the roaming user. Because the S-NSSAI_1 of the carrier B network is the same as the S-NSSAI_1 of the carrier A network in service type, and the matching degree of network resources required by the slicing example is highest, the S-NSSAI_1 of the roaming user accessing the carrier B network can obtain the equivalent slicing service of the S-NSSAI_1 accessing the carrier A network when the roaming user is in the carrier A network, thereby not affecting the experience of the user when roaming across carriers.
