Background

6. The method of claim 2, wherein the self-service pick container has an electromagnetic lock disposed at the at least one second door on the customer side for locking the second door when the corresponding second door is closed.
7. The method of claim 2, wherein the self-service container has a temperature control device for regulating and controlling the temperature in the at least one storage bay of the self-service container.
8. The method of claim 2, wherein the self-service container has a sterilization and disinfection apparatus for sterilizing and disinfecting the at least one storage bay of the self-service container.
9. The method of claim 2, wherein the self-service pick-up bin has a light control device for controlling lights in at least one storage bay of the self-service pick-up bin.
