Description

Head fixing device in thyroid surgery
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of medical auxiliary appliances, in particular to a head fixing device in thyroid surgery.
Background
The thyroid gland is a very important gland of vertebrates and belongs to an endocrine organ. The thyroid gland is the largest endocrine gland of adults, is located in the front of the neck, is brownish red, is conical in the left and right lobes of the thyroid gland, is attached to the side surfaces of the larynx and trachea, and is located below the thyroid cartilage of the neck and on the two sides of the trachea. The thyroid gland of human is named after it is like butterfly, like the shield. When the thyroid is seriously diseased, a thyroidectomy is needed, and two types of thyroidectomy are needed, namely, one type of thyroidectomy is to completely remove one side of the thyroid, but not both thyroid glands are completely removed; the other is partial resection, which tends to preserve all or part of the contralateral thyroid tissue and maintain the desired physiological function.
When carrying out the thyroidectomy, need carry out firm fixed with patient's head to need to make the patient keep certain posture for the convenience of operation, the general condition is to make the patient keep the supine position, makes the head lean back, with fully revealing the neck, and uses fixed bag to extrude the head fixed, prevents that the operation of doctor is influenced in the head rocks during the operation. However, the doctor raises the neck and usually uses a headrest, so that the doctor is difficult to adjust the degree of the head tilting backwards, and the stability is poor. And the head is easily moved by the fixation.
