Description

Strategy issuing method, device and system
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of mobile communications technologies, and in particular, to a method, an apparatus, and a system for issuing a policy.
Background
In the operation process of a Network element of a Network open Function (NEF) in a 5G core Network, the NEF needs to acquire a private Network IP allocated to a user by the 5G core Network, and is used for binding a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session after policy issuing.
One way provided by the related art is that a User Plane Function (UPF) inserts a User private network IP address into a request message sent by a User to an application, and the NEF issues Policy information to a User Policy Control Function (PCF) by using the User private network IP address. Another way provided by the related technology is that the NEF configures a mapping table of a user public Network IP Address, a private Network IP Address and a port number, and by applying the provided public Network IP Address, the NEF queries a Network Address Translation (NAT) device to obtain a mapping relationship between the user public/private Network and the port number, thereby obtaining the private Network IP of the user.
Disclosure of Invention
The inventor finds out after analysis that the mode provided by the related technology has certain defects.
For the way that the UPF inserts the user private IP address into the message, the UPF needs to detect the message and modify the application layer message to start deep packet inspection. This approach may increase device overhead. According to the data of the prior network investigation, the performance is reduced by 15 to 20 percent after the gateway is opened and the deep packet inspection is carried out
For the way that NEF configures IP mapping tables of public network and private network, in 5G scene, if the scheme of uniformly distributing IP by using Session Management Function (SMF) is adopted, the IP address of the user public network and the IP address of the private network are in dynamic mapping relation, which does not support the query. Under the condition that the local shunt capability is introduced in the 5G, in the process that a PDU session is anchored in a new UPF from an old User Plane Function (UPF), the User private network IP keeps unchanged, but the public network IP behind the NAT changes, so that the method for inquiring the private network IP by using a static mapping table is not feasible.

Fig. 1 is a schematic flow diagram of a policy issuing method according to some embodiments of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the policy issuing method of this embodiment includes steps S102 to S112.
In step S102, the NEF obtains a policy application sent by the application server, where the policy application includes a number of the mobile subscriber. The Mobile Subscriber number may be a Mobile station International ISDN number (MSISDN).
In some embodiments, the policy application is sent by the application server in response to the mobile user using the application service.
In step S104, the NEF sends a user authentication request to the SMF, where the user authentication request includes the number of the mobile subscriber.
In step S106, the SMF queries the private network IP address corresponding to the number in the user authentication request based on the correspondence between the number of the mobile user and the assigned private network IP address stored in advance. The corresponding relation can be established after the SMF allocates a private network IP address for the mobile user when the user is attached to the online.
In step S108, the NEF acquires the user authentication response sent by the SMF and including the private network IP address queried by the SMF.
In step S110, NEF constructs a policy for the mobile user according to the private network IP address in the user authentication response.
In some embodiments, the policy includes at least one of a charging policy, a routing policy, and a Quality of Service (QoS) policy. For example, by acquiring the number of the mobile user, and determining that the user is a premium user, a higher QoS may be configured for the user; for another example, by obtaining the number of the mobile subscriber and determining that the subscriber is exempt from traffic for application X, a policy that does not deduct a traffic balance when using application X may be configured for the subscriber.
In step S112, the NEF sends the constructed policy to the PCF for execution.
The method of the above embodiment adds interaction between the NEF and the SMF, and supports carrying the number of the mobile subscriber in the interaction process, so that the SMF can search the private network IP address of the subscriber through the number of the mobile subscriber and return the private network IP address to the NEF. The NEF may construct a policy based on the acquired private network IP address. Therefore, the embodiment can realize the construction and the issuing of the 5G strategy in more 5G scenes on the premise of not influencing the performance of the equipment.
In some embodiments, the NEF may configure the correspondence of the user's public network IP address to the SMF address for interaction with the NEF by the user's home SMF. An embodiment of the policy issuing method of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 2.
Fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart of a policy issuing method according to some embodiments of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the policy issuing method of this embodiment includes steps S202 to S212.
In step S202, the NEF obtains a policy application sent by the application server, where the policy application includes a number of a mobile subscriber and a public network IP address. The NEF stores the correspondence between the public network IP address of the mobile subscriber and the IP address of the SMF.
In step S204, the NEF sends a user authentication request to the home SMF corresponding to the public network IP address of the mobile subscriber, where the user authentication request includes the number of the mobile subscriber.
In some embodiments, the correspondence between the public network IP address of the mobile subscriber and the IP address of the SMF is determined according to the region corresponding to the public network IP address and the region corresponding to the IP address of the SMF.
For example, an operator may plan a particular IP network segment for each province when planning an IP address. By determining the network segment corresponding to the IP address, the corresponding area can be determined. The public network IP address of the mobile user belonging to the same area corresponds to the IP address of the SMF.
In step S206, the home SMF queries the private IP address corresponding to the number in the user authentication request based on the correspondence between the number of the mobile user and the assigned private IP address stored in advance.
In step S208, the NEF acquires the user authentication response sent by the home SMF and including the private network IP address queried by the home SMF.
In step S210, NEF constructs a policy for the mobile user according to the private network IP address in the user authentication response.
In step S212, NEF sends the constructed policy to PCF for execution.
By configuring the corresponding relation between the user public network IP address and the SMF IP address for the NEF, the user public network IP address can be used for inquiring the SMF IP address to which the user belongs. Therefore, the user can inquire the private network IP address of the user by the user attributive SMF, and the inquiry efficiency and the success rate are improved.
In some embodiments, the SMF may determine a correspondence between the mobile subscriber's number and the private network IP address when the subscriber accesses the network. An embodiment of constructing a correspondence relationship of a number and a private network IP address is described below with reference to fig. 3.
Fig. 3 is a flow diagram illustrating the process of constructing a correspondence between a number and a private network IP address according to some embodiments of the invention. As shown in fig. 3, the method of this embodiment includes steps S302 to S306.
In step S302, in response to the terminal of the mobile user accessing the network, the SMF obtains a PDU session establishment request message sent by an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF), where the PDU session establishment request message includes a number of the mobile user.
In step S304, the SMF selects a UPF to establish the PDU session.
In step S306, the SMF allocates a private network IP address to the mobile subscriber, and stores a correspondence between the number of the mobile subscriber and the allocated private network IP address.
Thus, the SMF can store the correspondence between the mobile subscriber's number and the assigned private network IP address by means of the process of the subscriber going online.
An exemplary signaling flow of the policy issuing method of the present invention is described below with reference to fig. 4.
Fig. 4 is an exemplary signaling flow diagram of a policy delivery method according to some embodiments of the invention. As shown in fig. 4, the policy issuing method of this embodiment includes steps S402 to S414.
In step S402, the 5G subscriber attaches to the line, and the AMF sends a PDU Session Establishment Request (PDU Session Establishment Request) to the SMF, where the PDU Session Establishment Request includes the MSISDN of the subscriber.
In step S404, the SMF sends an N4Session Establishment Request (N4 Session Establishment Request) to the UPF, and assigns a private network IP address to the user and saves the correspondence between the MSISDN and the private network IP address.
In step S406, in response to the service of using APP by the user, the APP Server (application Server) sends a HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) request to the NEF to apply for a policy for the user, where the request includes the public network IP address and MSISDN of the user. When the user uses the APP, the APP can obtain the public network IP address and the MSISDN of the user and send the public network IP address and the MSISDN to the APP Server.
The NEF may query the information of the IP address of the SMF to which the user belongs, according to the stored correspondence between the public network IP address and the IP address of the SMF.
In step S408, the NEF sends a UE Identifier Query Request (user authentication Request) to the SMF to which the user belongs, where the UE Identifier Query Request carries the MSISDN of the user.
In step S410, after the SMF finds the private network IP address corresponding to the MSISDN of the user, it returns it to the NEF through the UE Identifier Query Response.
In step S412, the NEF constructs a 5G policy according to the acquired private network IP address of the user, and issues the policy to the PCF for execution.
In step S414, the NEF returns an HTTP response to the APP Server.
By the method of the embodiment, the 5G strategy construction and issuing under each scene can be realized by combining the existing signaling flow and the interaction between the newly added SMF and the NEF.
