Description

Network configuration method and device of terminal, storage medium, terminal and baseband chip
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a network configuration method and apparatus for a terminal, a storage medium, a terminal, and a baseband chip.
Background
Operator networks in different regions have different network parameter configurations, such as the size of the maximum transmission unit of a supported mobile system, a licensed frequency band, a data/Internet Protocol Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) voice service, and an encryption algorithm required to be started, according to their own plans and policies. In addition, the operator (such as mobile, internet, telecommunication, vodafone, etc.) can also customize the behavior of the terminal based on its own network conditions, such as a service retry mechanism in some abnormal scenarios.
With the development of mobile communication technology, an operator of a serving cell in which a terminal (e.g., a mobile phone, a mobile computer, a smart watch, etc.) is located may change due to factors such as self-movement or cell reselection during a communication process. If the operating parameters used by the terminal are not consistent with the operator network parameters, various communication problems may occur. For example, if the size of an IMS Voice data packet of a terminal is larger than network configuration, the maximum transmission unit of an IMS Voice service may cause a problem of packet loss and even a call failure of the IMS Voice service (Voice over LTE, called Voice for short).
Conventional terminal configuration usually configures a set of specific terminal parameter files, i.e. non-volatile memory (NV) files, according to network parameters of an operator, and if there are many shipping areas of a client, the former configuration means that the client needs to maintain dozens of NV files for a baseband (Modem) version to include NV parameters of each operator.
However, for the same Modem version, the terminal cannot dynamically switch the operator parameters in each NV file, and cannot adapt to a scenario in which the terminal roams among multiple operators.

Detailed Description
As a background, in the prior art, a terminal cannot dynamically switch operator parameters and cannot adapt to a roaming scenario among multiple operators.
In order to solve the above problem, an embodiment of the present invention provides a method and an apparatus for configuring a network of a terminal, a storage medium, and a terminal, where the method includes: acquiring PLMN information of a current resident cell; if the PLMN information of the current resident cell is inconsistent with the PLMN information used by the terminal, acquiring updated PLMN parameters from a preset storage position; using the updated PLMN parameters; and the preset storage position comprises PLMN parameters corresponding to a plurality of groups of PLMN information.
Therefore, the terminal can dynamically switch the operator parameters to adapt to a roaming scene among a plurality of operators.
In order to make the aforementioned objects, features and advantages of the present invention comprehensible, embodiments accompanied with figures are described in detail below.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic flow chart of a network configuration method of a terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the method is executed by a terminal side, and the terminal side may refer to a computer, a mobile phone, a smart watch, and other terminal devices, and the method includes:
step S101, acquiring PLMN information of a current resident cell;
a Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) is a Network established and operated by the government or an authorized operator thereof for the purpose of providing a Land Mobile communication service to the Public.
The current resident Cell is a serving Cell (Cell) where the terminal is located. The PLMN information of the currently camped cell is used to indicate information of an operator to which the cell belongs, and may include a Mobile Network Code (MNC) and a Mobile Country Code (MCC) identifier.
Step S102, detecting whether the PLMN information of the current resident cell is consistent with the PLMN information used by the terminal;
if the PLMN information of the current resident cell is not consistent with the PLMN information used by the terminal, step S103 is executed to obtain updated PLMN parameters from a preset storage location;
step S104, using the updated PLMN parameter;
optionally, if it is detected in step S102 that the PLMN information of the currently camped cell is consistent with the PLMN information used by the terminal, no update is performed, and step S101 is skipped to for continuous monitoring.
And the preset storage position comprises PLMN parameters corresponding to a plurality of groups of PLMN information.
The PLMN information used by the terminal is information of a PLMN configured and used for communication by the current terminal, and may include MNC, MCC, and the like.
The terminal can obtain the PLMN information of the current resident cell in real time, and the PLMN information is compared with the PLMN information used by the terminal, if the PLMN information and the PLMN information are not consistent, the service cell where the terminal is located can be judged to be changed by an operator or the terminal enters other service cells. The terminal acquires the network parameters corresponding to the operator of the current resident cell, namely the updated PLMN parameters, from the preset storage position, and updates the network parameters used by the PLMN parameters so as to keep the operation parameters used by the terminal consistent with the network parameters of the operator.
Optionally, the preset storage location may further store one or more sets of default (default) network parameters, and when the terminal cannot match the appropriate operator network parameters, the default network parameters may be used. The default network parameters are a set of some common parameters that are preset.
Optionally, the PLMN parameter used by the terminal includes a home PLMN parameter of the core network side and an access PLMN parameter of the access network side.
The Home PLMN parameter refers to a parameter generally stored on the public PLMN (Home PLMN, abbreviated as HPLMN) side of the core network, and is configured with a Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) or a Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM), where such a parameter is generally a parameter stored on the HPLMN side of the core network and denoted as SIM _ DATA.
The Visited PLMN parameter refers to a parameter configured with the currently camped PLMN, and such a parameter is generally a parameter stored in the access network or in the Visited PLMN (VPLMN) side according to the core network architecture, and is referred to as PLMN _ DATA.
The terminal can support the use mode of combining the home PLMN parameter and the visited PLMN parameter so as to support the situation that the resident cell is inconsistent with the provider of the SIM card/USIM card of the terminal, thereby adapting to the roaming scene of the terminal among a plurality of operators.
For example, when a mobile phone equipped with a SIM/USIM card of a china mobile roams to a cell covered by wadfeng, network communication can be achieved by the SIM/USIM card of the china mobile through a roaming mode in the cell covered by wadfeng.
Optionally, the preset storage location is located in a baseband (Modem) chip of the terminal.
Before the terminal leaves a factory, a Modem version is burned in a baseband chip of the terminal, and the Modem version comprises multiple sets of PLMN parameters corresponding to the PLMN information. The PLMN parameters corresponding to the multiple sets of PLMN information may be from configuration tables and outfield test verification data issued by an operator.
In one embodiment, the method described in fig. 1 further comprises: receiving a request for updating information in a preset storage position from a server side; and when an instruction for starting updating is obtained, obtaining updating data from the server, and updating the information in the preset storage position by using the updating data.
If the server wants to update the information in the preset storage positions of one or more terminals, an update request can be issued to the terminals, namely, the server can change the burning information in the terminal baseband chip in a mode of upgrading the Modem version.
Optionally, the preset storage location includes PLMN parameters corresponding to one or more operators, and the step S103 in fig. 1 of obtaining updated PLMN parameters from the preset storage location may include: and acquiring the PLMN parameter corresponding to the current operator from a preset storage position as updated PLMN information.
The database stores the network configuration information of each operator according to the information of the operator (such as MCC/MNC information of the operator). When the terminal is to acquire the parameters in the preset storage location, the terminal can use the information of the operator to perform querying and acquisition.
Optionally, a network characteristic Database (Database or Database Layer for short) for storing PLMN parameters corresponding to multiple sets of PLMN information may be established at the preset storage location.
Through the method illustrated in fig. 1, the terminal can select the network configuration parameters of the operator to be used through PLMN parameters corresponding to multiple sets of PLMN information stored in the preset storage location, so as to automatically adapt to the network configurations of multiple operators. And the terminal can support the combined use mode of the home PLMN parameter and the visited PLMN parameter to support the situation that the resident cell is inconsistent with the provider of the SIM card/USIM card of the resident cell, so as to adapt to the roaming scene of the terminal among a plurality of operators.
In an embodiment, please refer to fig. 1 and fig. 2, and fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a network configuration method of a second terminal. The acquiring PLMN information of the currently camped cell in step S101 in fig. 1 may include:
step S201, receiving a broadcast message of a current resident cell, and determining a current operator to which the current resident cell belongs according to the broadcast message;
the visited PLMN parameters used by the terminal are related to the current access network, i.e. the operator to which the cell currently resides, and these parameters are affected by the roaming network during roaming.
The terminal may receive a broadcast message of the current residential cell, or obtain International Mobile Subscriber identity Number (IMSI) information in the SIM card/USIM card, and determine the current operator to which the current residential cell belongs according to the operator network numbers (MCC, MNC) therein, so as to monitor whether a visited PLMN parameter used by the terminal matches with the home operator of the current access network.
Step S202, if the current operator is not consistent with the operator of the PLMN information used by the terminal, the PLMN information of the current resident cell is not consistent with the PLMN information used by the terminal;
after acquiring the updated PLMN parameter from the preset storage location in step S103 in fig. 1, the method further includes: step S203, replacing the access PLMN parameter of the access network side with the updated PLMN parameter.
And if the access PLMN parameter used by the terminal is not matched with the home operator of the current access network, the terminal needs to replace the used access PLMN parameter. The terminal obtains a PLMN parameter (i.e., an updated PLMN parameter) corresponding to the home operator of the current access network from the preset storage location as a new used access PLMN parameter.
In this embodiment, the terminal monitors in real time whether the home operator of the current access network changes, so as to adapt to adjustment of the visited PLMN parameter used by the terminal.
In an embodiment, please refer to fig. 1, fig. 2, and fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a network configuration method of a third terminal. The acquiring PLMN information of the currently camped cell in step S101 in fig. 1 may include: step S301, after the terminal is started or the SIM/USIM card of the terminal is hot plugged, acquiring a current operator on the SIM/USIM card;
after the terminal is powered on, or when the SIM card/USIM card of the terminal is hot-plugged, the IMSI information (e.g., MCC/MNC information) on the SIM card/USIM card may be acquired. To monitor whether the home PLMN parameters used by the terminal match the operator of the SIM/USIM card.
Step S302, if the current operator is not consistent with the operator of the PLMN information currently used by the terminal, the PLMN information of the current resident cell is not consistent with the PLMN information currently used by the terminal;
after the step S103 in fig. 1 of acquiring the updated PLMN parameter from the preset storage location, the method may further include: and step S303, replacing the home PLMN parameter of the core network side with the updated PLMN parameter.
And if the home PLMN parameter used by the terminal is not matched with the operator of the SIM card/USIM card, the terminal needs to replace the used home PLMN parameter. The terminal acquires PLMN parameters (namely updated PLMN parameters) corresponding to the operators of the SIM card/USIM card from a preset storage position as new used home PLMN parameters.
In this embodiment, the SIM card/USIM card used by the terminal may be changed after the terminal is powered off or turned on, or when the SIM card/USIM card is hot-plugged, and at this time, the terminal needs to adapt to adjust the home PLMN parameter used by the terminal.
Further, the methods described in fig. 2 and fig. 3 may be used in combination to ensure that the PLMN parameters (including the home PLMN parameters and the visited PLMN parameters) used by the terminal can be matched with the access network and the core network, thereby ensuring smooth communication of the terminal.
