When the nuclear power station ball valve is maintained, the valve seat needs to be disassembled. The valve seat is located in the valve cavity, see fig. 1 (valve seat position schematic).
General valve seat removal methods: an operator stretches a hand into the valve cavity and directly buckles the valve seat; or a screwdriver is inserted between the valve seat and the valve body, and the valve seat is pried by the screwdriver.
In the usual dismantling method, there are a number of disadvantages and difficulties: (1) the valve seat and the valve body are in interference fit, certain friction force exists, and the valve seat can be detached only with certain force; certain corrosion or impurities exist between the valve seat and the valve body, so that the dismantling resistance is increased; by using a common dismounting method, stress points cannot be symmetrical on the circumference of the valve seat, and the applied force is not parallel to the axis of the valve seat, so that the dismounting difficulty is increased, and the valve seat cannot be smoothly dismounted; (2) when the screwdriver is used for disassembling the valve seat, the screwdriver is difficult to place due to the fact that the space in the valve cavity of the ball valve is not ideal; the contact area of the screwdriver, the valve body and the valve seat is small, and the valve seat and the valve body are easy to damage; (3) in the nuclear power station, radioactive substances exist in a plurality of ball valve cavities, the hands of the operating personnel are exposed after the latex gloves are scratched, and the operating personnel are stained by the radioactive substance surface.
