The on-line connector of the present invention has a base to which a fixing device is attached. Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of aviation connectors, in particular to an online connector and a fixing device for fixing the online connector on the online connector.
Background
In the field of aviation, the requirements for connectors are high, wherein the on-line connectors and electrical modules used on board the aircraft cannot be separately fixedly mounted. An in-line connector is a connector that cannot be fixed before the product is shipped and must be mated with a connector pair of another electrical module at the aircraft assembly site.
At present, the processing mode of the on-line connector is bound in a wire bundle or suspended without fixation. If the on-line connector is not fixed, the connection of the on-line connector is damaged by factors such as overload acceleration, vibration, impact and the like of the airplane; if the wire harness is bound in the wire harness, the reliability of the on-line connector is influenced by friction and signal interference between the wire harnesses.
Obviously, the above method cannot meet the installation requirement of the connector for the airplane, and therefore, a novel online connector and a fixing device thereof are needed.

An on-line connector comprises a plug assembly 1 and a socket assembly, wherein the plug assembly 1 is plugged with the socket assembly, and connection of the on-line connector is realized. Before the product leaves the factory, the plug assembly 1 is exposed outside and cannot be fixed in the product. The plug assembly 1 must be mated with the receptacle assembly sets of other electrical modules at the aircraft assembly site. However, the fixation of the plugged-in on-line connector becomes a problem.
For this purpose, the present invention is provided with fixing projections 11 on the outer surface of the cable connection end of the plug assembly 1. As shown in fig. 1-3, the fixing protrusion 11 has a trapezoidal cross section, and the longer lower bottom edge is far away from the cable connection end. The fixing projections 11 provide the basis for the connection of the on-line connector to the fixing device 2. The specifications of the wire connectors are various, and the same fixing projection 11 is arranged on the wire connectors of various specifications, so that the wire connectors of all specifications can have a common connection base. Of course, the fixing projection 11 may be provided on the socket assembly.
A fixing device applied to an online connector is used for fixing the online connector on a support plate 3, in the embodiment, the support plate 3 is an L-shaped plate, and a connecting hole is formed in the support plate 3. The support plate 3 can be fixed on the product and can also be fixed on an airplane, and the requirement is determined according to the field installation situation.
As shown in fig. 4-5, the fixing device 2 includes a U-shaped spring clip 21, the U-shaped spring clip 21 is similar to a clip nut, and a through hole and a threaded hole are provided on the surface of the U-shaped spring clip 21, wherein a side plate body having the threaded hole is inclined inward. The connector clamping piece comprises a nut column 22, and the nut column 22 is positioned on one side of the U-shaped spring clamping piece 21 with the through hole and is coaxial with the through hole. And a dovetail-shaped clamping piece 23 used for clamping and fixing the lug 11 is connected to one end of the nut column 22 far away from the U-shaped spring clamping piece 21. The fixing device 2 further comprises a fixing bolt 24 and a locking washer 25.
As shown in fig. 6, when in use, the U-shaped spring clip 21 is inserted into the support plate 3, the anti-loosening washer 25 is installed on the fixing bolt 24, and then the fixing bolt 24 is screwed into the threaded hole of the U-shaped spring clip 21, so that the fixing bolt 24 is screwed with the threaded hole of the U-shaped spring clip 21; then, the fixing bolt 24 is screwed continuously, so that the head of the fixing bolt 24 passes through the connecting hole of the bracket plate 3 and the through hole of the U-shaped spring clip 21 in sequence and is screwed with the threaded hole of the nut column 22. In the screwing process, the plate body on one side of the U-shaped spring clamping piece 21 with the threaded hole moves inwards and deforms, and finally the support plate 3 is clamped between the two plate bodies of the U-shaped spring clamping piece 21. Since the fixing bolt 24 is screwed with the U-shaped spring clip 21 and the nut post 22, the U-shaped spring clip 21 and the nut post 22 are equivalent to double nut tightening of the fixing bolt 24. Double nuts are well known to be provided with a locking function. The U-shaped spring clamping piece 21 has elasticity, and can pre-tighten the standby surface between the U-shaped spring clamping piece 21 and the nut column 22 after deformation. The anti-loosening gasket 25 between the fixing bolt 24 and the U-shaped spring clamping piece 21 can increase the friction area and play a role in assisting in anti-loosening. Compared with the self-locking nut, the fixing device 2 can reduce the generation of redundant objects.
As shown in fig. 7, after the fixing device 2 is installed, the fixing projection 11 of the plugged in-line connector is inserted into the dovetail-shaped clamping piece 23 at the upper end of the nut column 22, so as to complete the fixing of the in-line connector. The dovetail-shaped clamping piece 23 is made of 65Mn and has good rebound resilience, and the dovetail-shaped clamping piece 23 can hold the fixed lug 11 tightly to prevent the fixed lug 11 from falling off; secondly, the utility model can be used repeatedly. In addition, because the supporting plate 3 has certain elasticity and the dovetail-shaped clamping piece 23 is connected with the on-line connector in a clasping way, the on-line connector can be protected by moving or disengaging the connection when being jerked by external force.
As shown in fig. 8, the fixing device 2 may be pre-assembled on the bracket plate 3 of the product or the bracket plate 3 of the airplane in advance, and only the on-line connector needs to be inserted when assembling the product. This reduces the space requirements for field installation.
During field installation, the bracket plate 3 is already arranged, but unexpected problems of too long or too short wiring harness, too high or too low installation and the like are also encountered. To accommodate the complexity at the installation site, the nut posts 22 are divided into multiple sizes by length. The height of the fixing device 2 is adjusted by changing the specification of the nut column 22, so as to solve the above problem.
In order to prevent the fixing bolt 24 from being too long and abutting against the dovetail clip 23, or the fixing bolt 24 from being too short and being too short to be screwed into the nut post 22, two radial observation holes are provided one above the other in the nut post 22. The observation hole at the upper end is used for preventing the fixing bolt 24 from being screwed too long, and the observation hole at the lower end is used for preventing the fixing bolt 24 from being screwed too short. The fixing bolt 24 is suitably long so that the fixing bolt 24 is not visible through the upper end viewing hole, and the fixing bolt 24 is visible through the upper end viewing hole.
In summary, the on-line connector of the present invention has the fixing protrusion 11, and the fixing protrusion 11 forms a base for the on-line connector to connect with the fixing device 2. The fixing device 2 skillfully realizes the anti-loose fixation with the bracket plate 3 and the quick connection with the online connector.
