when the seawater is filtered, the seawater can be introduced into the second opening 111 and the third opening 112 at the same time, and the seawater flows out from the filtering holes 24 through the filtering cavity 21 on the filtering element 2 to filter the impurities and then flows out from the water outlet 12; the filter screen 25 on the filter element 2 is used for filtering the seawater which is not filtered by the filter holes 24 on the filter element 26; when the ship is driven to a water area with a shallow water level, the lower cover 18 closes the second opening 111, so that seawater enters only from the third opening 112.
When the seawater filter is installed, the filter core plate 4 and the lower support plate 15 are respectively welded at corresponding positions in the filter shell 1, and the filter shell 1 extends into the ship body 6 and is welded and fixed with the ship body 6; a lower support bar 16 is arranged at one end of a section of filter cylinder and is lifted, and the lower support bar 16 extends into the filter shell 1 in a posture that the bottom end of the section of filter cylinder is slightly higher than the top end of the filter shell 1; lifting the next section of filter cylinder and moving the next section of filter cylinder to the upper part of the previous section of filter cylinder, fixedly connecting the two sections of filter cylinders by using bolts, and then lowering the two sections of filter cylinders into the filter shell 1 to ensure that the top end of the section of filter cylinder positioned above is slightly higher than the top end of the filter shell 1; by analogy, the remaining cartridges are bolted end-to-end, and all of the cartridges constitute the filter element 26 (in this case, the filter element 26 extends mostly into the filter housing 1, and the top end of the filter element 26 is exposed outside the filter housing 1); a filter screen 25, an upper support rod 14 and an upper support plate 13 are sequentially arranged at the top end of the filter element 26; thereafter, the filter element 26 is lowered to clamp the upper support plate 13 to the top end of the filter housing 1, and the upper cover plate 17 is closed.
