Abstract
本申请实施例提供了一种获取信息的方法和终端设备,该方法适用于具有无限保真Wi‑Fi功能的设备上,当终端设备无法连接蜂窝网络时,该方法包括:终端设备配置至少一个第一信道以及每个第一信道的发射功率;使用配置的发射功率在对应的第一信道上搜索接入点设备,并与搜索到的接入点设备中的一个接入点设备完成接入连接;根据接入连接的接入点设备的媒体接入控制MAC地址获取终端设备当前所在的地理位置;根据地理位置获取对应的国家信息(例如国家代码)。或者,终端设备根据内置的定位模块定位终端设备所在的当前地理位置,并根据地理位置获取对应的国家信息(例如国家代码),以便于后续终端设备根据配置正确的Wi‑Fi发射功率和信道。
