13. A card-less transaction apparatus comprising a memory and a processor, the memory having stored thereon a computer program operable on the processor, wherein the processor, when executing the program, implements the steps of the card-less transaction method of claims 1 to 9.

A server comprising a memory and a processor, the memory having stored thereon a computer program operable on the processor, and one or more fingerprint templates and a password for a user, wherein the processor, when executing the program, implements the steps in the cardless transaction method of claims 10 to 12.
