Description

摩擦接合装置及其运转方法
技术领域
本发明涉及摩擦接合装置及其运转方法。
背景技术
公知有利用摩擦热来接合多个钢制部件的摩擦接合方法(例如,参照专利文献1)。在专利文献1所公开的摩擦接合方法中,使旋转工具一边旋转一边按压于被接合部,而使被接合部的温度成为A3相变点以上,之后,使被接合部的温度成为A1相变点以下,并在A1相变点以下的状态下将旋转工具从被接合部拔出,由此接合两片钢板。
专利文献1:日本特开2008-73694号公报
然而,专利文献1所公开的摩擦接合方法为关于两片钢板的接合方法,没有考虑将不同种类的板部件例如将铝制的板材和钢制的板材接合的情况,尚有改善的余地。
发明内容
本发明是为了解决上述课题而完成的,其目的在于,提供一种即使利用摩擦热对由不同材料构成的多个部件进行接合,也能够提高接合强度的摩擦接合装置及其运转方法。
为了解决上述现有的课题,本发明所涉及的摩擦接合装置通过利用摩擦热使具有第一部件和第二部件的被接合物软化而进行接合,其中,上述摩擦接合装置具备:工具,形成为圆柱状,构成为能够进行绕轴线的旋转和向沿着该轴线的方向的进退移动;旋转驱动器,使上述工具绕上述轴线旋转;直动驱动器,使上述工具沿上述轴线进退移动;以及控制装置,上述第一部件配置为与上述工具对置,且由种类与上述第二部件不同的材料构成,上述第二部件由钢构成,上述控制装置构成为执行:步骤A,控制上述直动驱动器以及上述旋转驱动器,以一边使上述工具的末端部按压上述被接合物的被接合部,一边使上述工具绕上述轴线旋转,而使上述被接合部的温度成为A1相变点以上;步骤B,控制上述直动驱动器以及上述旋转驱动器,使上述工具的末端部到达预先设定的规定的第一位置,以在将上述被接合部的温度维持在A1相变点以上的温度的状态下,使软化的上述第二部件刺入软化的上述第一部件;以及步骤C,控制上述直动驱动器以及上述旋转驱动器,以将上述被接合部的温度维持在A1相变点以上的温度,并且将上述工具在旋转的状态下从上述被接合部拔出。

并且,在本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置中,还可以具备检测被接合部的温度的温度检测器,控制装置构成为根据温度检测器所检测出的温度,来判断被接合部的温度是否为A1相变点以上。
以下,参照图1~图3对本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置的一个例子详细地进行说明。
[摩擦接合装置的结构]
图1是表示本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置的简要结构的示意图。
如图1所示,本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1具备工具10、基体2、可动体3、工具保持体4、直动驱动器7、旋转驱动器8、温度检测器60以及控制装置30,构成为利用摩擦热使被接合物W的被接合部Wa软化而进行接合。
基体2能够拆装地安装于机器人手臂9的末端部。可动体3能够在工具保持体4的轴线X方向上移动地安装于基体2。在可动体3的末端部设置有工具保持体4。
工具保持体4能够绕其轴线X旋转,并且构成为与可动体3成为一体,而能够在轴线X的方向上移动。在工具保持体4的末端部能够拆装地设置有工具10。此外,工具10能够使用在摩擦搅拌接合领域中公知的结构。
另外,在基体2的内部配置有直动驱动器7。直动驱动器7构成为使可动体3(工具10)沿轴线X方向直线移动。作为直动驱动器7,例如可以使用电动马达(伺服马达)和滚珠丝杠或直线导轨等,也可以使用气缸等。另外,在直动驱动器7也可以配置位置检测器,上述位置检测器构成为检测工具10的末端部的位置。作为位置检测器,例如可以使用编码器。
在可动体3的内部配置有旋转驱动器8。旋转驱动器8构成为使工具保持体4以及工具10绕轴线X旋转。作为旋转驱动器8,例如可以使用电动马达(伺服马达)。
并且,在基体2固定有呈大致C字状(大致L字状)形成的弯曲框架5。弯曲框架5形成为其末端部与工具10对置。另外,在弯曲框架5的末端部设置有支承台6。支承台6构成为支承被接合物W。即,在本实施方式1中,基体2、可动体3、工具保持体4、弯曲框架5以及支承台6由C型抢(C型框架)构成。
在本实施方式1中,被接合物W由板状的第一部件W1和板状的第二部件W2构成。第一部件W1可以使用金属材料(例如,铝)、热塑性塑料(例如,聚酰胺)以及纤维增强塑料(例如,碳纤维增强塑料)中的至少一种材料,第二部件W2可以使用与第一部件W1不同的金属材料(例如,钢)。
此外,在本实施方式1中,采用了由板状的第一部件W1和板状的第二部件W2构成被接合物W的方式,但并不限定于此,被接合物W(第一部件W1以及第二部件W2)的形状是任意的,例如可以是长方体状也可以形成为圆弧状。
温度检测器60构成为检测被接合物W的被接合部Wa的温度,并将检测出的温度输出到控制装置30。作为温度检测器60,只要能够检测被接合物W的被接合部Wa的温度即可,可以是任何方式,例如可以使用红外线传感器,也可以使用配置在支承台6的内部的热电偶。
控制装置30具备微处理器、CPU等运算处理器、和ROM、RAM等存储器(未图示)。在存储器中存储有基本程序、各种固定数据等信息。运算处理器通过读出并执行存储在存储器中的基本程序等软件,来控制直动驱动器7、旋转驱动器8以及机器人手臂9的各种动作。
此外,控制装置30可以由进行集中控制的单个控制装置30构成,也可以由相互协作而进行分散控制的多个控制装置30构成。另外,控制装置30可以由微型计算机构成,也可以由MPU、PLC(Programmable Logic Controller:可编程逻辑控制器)、逻辑电路等构成。

接下来,参照图1~图3对本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1的运转方法进行说明。此外,以下的动作通过由控制装置30的运算处理器读出储存在存储器中的程序而执行。
图2是表示本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置的动作的一个例子的流程图。图3是表示本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置的主要部分的示意图,表示执行了摩擦接合的状态。
首先,作业人员将被接合物W载置在支承台6的上表面。接着,作业人员操作输入器(未图示),向控制装置30输入被接合物W的接合执行。
于是,如图2所示,控制装置30使旋转驱动器8驱动,而使工具保持体4以及工具10以规定的转速(例如,500~3000rpm)旋转(步骤S101)。接着,控制装置30在使工具保持体4以及工具10旋转的状态下,使直动驱动器7驱动,以使工具10的末端部移动到预先设定的规定的第一位置(步骤S102)。此时,控制装置30控制直动驱动器7,以使工具10以预先设定的规定的按压力(例如,4kN~70kN)按压被接合物W。此外,对于规定的转速以及规定的按压力,能够通过预先实验等而适当设定。另外,关于第一位置,在后文中叙述。
由此,工具10与被接合物W的被接合部Wa抵接,通过工具10的末端部与被接合部Wa的摩擦,而产生摩擦热,被接合物W的被接合部Wa被软化,产生塑性流动。
而且,如图3所示,通过将工具10的末端部压入被接合部Wa的内部,作为第二部件W2的软化部分的第二软化部分42进入(刺入)作为第一部件W1的软化部分的第一软化部分41。此外,在本说明书中,将进入第一软化部分41的第二软化部分42称为锚固部分。
接下来,控制装置30取得温度检测器60所检测出的被接合物W的被接合部Wa的温度(步骤S103)。接着,控制装置30判定在步骤S103中取得的温度是否为A1相变点以上(步骤S104)。
此外,在本实施方式1中,采用了控制装置30对在步骤S103中取得的温度是否为A1相变点以上进行判定的方式,但并不限定于此。从进一步提高被接合物W的接合强度的观点出发,既可以采用控制装置30对在步骤S103中取得的温度是否高于A1相变点进行判定的方式,也可以采用对在步骤S103中取得的温度是否为A3相变点以上进行判定的方式。
若使被接合部Wa的温度为A1相变点以上,则能够在将工具10拔出时,使第二软化部分42发生马氏体相变。因此,能够使作为锚固部分的第二软化部分42的强度增大,从而能够提高被接合物W的抗拉强度。
另外,若使被接合部Wa的温度为A3相变点以上,则能够增加第二软化部分42的发生马氏体相变的比率。因此,能够进一步增大作为锚固部分的第二软化部分42的强度,从而能够提高被接合物W的抗拉强度。
控制装置30在判定为在步骤S103中取得的温度小于A1相变点的情况下(在步骤S104中为“否”),控制旋转驱动器8和/或直动驱动器7,以使工具10的转速和/或按压力增加(步骤S105),反复进行步骤S103~步骤S105的处理,直到被接合物W的被接合部Wa的温度达到A1相变点以上。
另一方面,控制装置30在判定为在步骤S103中取得的温度为A1相变点以上的情况下(在步骤S104中为“是”),执行步骤S106的处理。
在步骤S106中,控制装置30判定工具10的末端部是否到达了第一位置。此外,工具10的末端部的位置信息由未图示的位置检测器检测出来,并输出到控制装置30。
这里,第一位置是指:在将第二部件W2的与第一部件W1抵接的面设为0%,将第二部件W2的与支承台6抵接的面设为100%的情况下,在大于0%且小于100%之间进行任意设定的位置。此外,从提高接合强度的观点出发,第一位置优选接近第二部件W2的与支承台6抵接的面,可以是25%以上,可以是50%以上,可以是75%以上,可以是80%以上,可以是90%以上,也可以是95%以上。
控制装置30在判定为工具10的末端部未到达第一位置的情况下(在步骤S106中为“否”),执行步骤S103~步骤S106的各处理,直到工具10的末端部到达第一位置。另一方面,控制装置30在判定为工具10的末端部到达了第一位置的情况下(在步骤S106中为“是”),执行步骤S107的处理。
在步骤S107中,控制装置30在使工具保持体4以及工具10旋转的状态下,使直动驱动器7驱动,以将工具10的末端部从被接合部Wa拔出。而且,若工具10的末端部从被接合部Wa被拔出,则控制装置30使旋转驱动器8停止,以使工具保持体4以及工具10的旋转停止,结束本程序。此外,在接合多个被接合部Wa的情况下,控制装置30也可以构成为不使工具保持体4以及工具10的旋转停止,而是开始下一个被接合部Wa的接合。
在这样构成的本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1中,通过对被接合物W执行摩擦接合,使第二部件W2的第二软化部分42进入第一部件W1的第一软化部分41,获得相对于拉伸剪切的强度提高,剥离强度也相对提高的锚固效果。
另外,在本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1中,控制装置30控制直动驱动器7以及旋转驱动器8,以使被接合部Wa的温度成为A1相变点以上。因此,第二部件W2的第二部分42成为进行了所谓的淬火处理的状态,从而能够提高锚固部分(第二软化部分42)的强度。由此,能够使相对于拉伸剪切的强度进一步提高,从而能够进一步提高锚固效果。
[变形例1]
接下来,对本实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置的变形例进行说明。
本变形例1中的摩擦接合装置是将实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置中的第一部件由多个第一子部件构成。
以下,参照图4对本变形例1中的摩擦接合装置进行说明。
图4是表示本变形例1中的摩擦接合装置的一个例子的主要部分的示意图,表示执行了摩擦接合的状态。
如图4所示,本变形例1中的摩擦接合装置1与实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1的基本结构相同,但不同点在于,第一部件W1由多个第一子部件W1A、W1B构成。多个第一子部件中只要至少一个第一子部件由与第二部件W2不同种类的材料构成即可。
例如,可以是第二部件W2由钢构成,第一子部件W1A、W1B由铝构成。在该情况下,如图4所示,第一子部件W1A、W1B通过与工具10的末端部的摩擦而分别软化,软化的部分被搅拌而接合。因此,第二部件W2的第二软化部分42进入(刺入)到第一子部件W1A、W1B被软化、搅拌而接合的部分(第一软化部分41)。
在这样构成的本变形例1中的摩擦接合装置1中,也起到与实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1同样的作用效果。
[变形例2]
本变形例2中的摩擦接合装置是将实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置(包括变形例1中的摩擦接合装置)中的第二部件由多个第二子部件构成。
以下,参照图5对本变形例2中的摩擦接合装置进行说明。
图5是表示本变形例2中的摩擦接合装置的一个例子的主要部分的示意图,表示执行了摩擦接合的状态。
如图5所示,本变形例2中的摩擦接合装置1与实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1的基本结构相同,但不同点在于,第二部件W2由多个第二子部件W2A、W2B构成。多个第二子部件中只要至少一个第二子部件由与第一部件W1不同种类的材料构成即可。
例如,可以是第二子部件W2A、W2B由钢构成,第一部件W1由铝构成。在该情况下,如图5所示,第二子部件W2A、W2B通过与工具10的末端部的摩擦而分别软化,软化的部分被搅拌而接合。因此,第二子部件W2A、W2B被软化、搅拌而接合的部分(第二软化部分42)进入(刺入)第一软化部分41。
在这样构成的本变形例2中的摩擦接合装置1中,也起到与实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1同样的作用效果。
(实施方式2)
本实施方式2所涉及的摩擦接合装置是在实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置(包括变形例1以及变形例2)中,还具备存储有第一数据的存储装置,上述第一数据表示被接合部的温度与工具的按压力及转速的相关关系。
以下,参照图6~图7对本实施方式2所涉及的摩擦接合装置的一个例子进行说明。
[摩擦接合装置的结构]
图6是表示本实施方式2所涉及的摩擦接合装置的简要结构的示意图。
如图6所示,本实施方式2所涉及的摩擦接合装置1与实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1的基本结构相同,但不同点在于,具备存储装置70来代替温度检测器60。
在存储装置70中存储有表示被接合部Wa的温度、与工具10的按压力及转速的相关关系的第一数据。对于第一数据,能够通过预先实验等而适当设定。具体而言,例如与实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1同样,通过温度检测器60,检测被接合部Wa的温度,取得检测该温度时的工具10的按压力和转速(直动驱动器7的驱动量和旋转驱动器8的驱动量),能够通过将这些信息作为数据库而获得。
作为存储装置70,可以由构成控制装置30的存储器(未图示)构成,也可以由外置硬盘或USB存储器等各种存储介质构成。
[摩擦接合装置的动作(摩擦接合装置的运转方法)]
接下来,参照图6以及图7对本实施方式2所涉及的摩擦接合装置1的动作进行说明。
图7是表示本实施方式2所涉及的摩擦接合装置的动作的一个例子的流程图。
首先,作业人员将被接合物W载置在支承台6的上表面。接着,作业人员操作输入器(未图示),向控制装置30输入被接合物W的接合执行。
于是,如图7所示,控制装置30使旋转驱动器8驱动,而使工具保持体4以及工具10以规定的转速(例如,500~3000rpm)旋转(步骤S201)。接着,控制装置30在使工具保持体4以及工具10旋转的状态下,使直动驱动器7驱动,以使工具10的末端部移动到第一位置(步骤S202)。此时,控制装置30控制直动驱动器7,以使工具10以预先设定的规定的按压力(例如,4kN~70kN)按压被接合物W。此外,对于规定的转速以及规定的按压力,通过控制装置30读出存储在存储装置70中的第一数据而适当设定。
接下来,控制装置30判定工具10的末端部是否到达了第一位置(步骤S203)。此外,工具10的末端部的位置信息由未图示的位置检测器检测出来,并输出到控制装置30。
控制装置30在判定为工具10的末端部未到达第一位置的情况下(在步骤S203中为“否”),执行步骤S202以及步骤S203的处理,直到工具10的末端部到达第一位置。另一方面,控制装置30在判定为工具10的末端部到达了第一位置的情况下(在步骤S203中为“是”),执行步骤S204的处理。
在步骤S204中,控制装置30在使工具保持体4以及工具10旋转的状态下,使直动驱动器7驱动,以将工具10的末端部从被接合部Wa拔出。而且,若工具10的末端部从被接合部Wa被拔出,则控制装置30使旋转驱动器8停止,以使工具保持体4以及工具10的旋转停止,结束本程序。此外,在接合多个被接合部Wa的情况下,控制装置30也可以构成为不使工具保持体4以及工具10的旋转停止,而是开始下一个被接合部Wa的接合。
在这样构成的本实施方式2所涉及的摩擦接合装置1中,也起到与实施方式1所涉及的摩擦接合装置1同样的作用效果。
根据上述说明,对本领域技术人员来说,本发明的许多改进或其他的实施方式是显而易见的。因此,上述说明应仅作为举例说明来解释,并且是以向本领域技术人员教导执行本发明的最优的方式为目的而提供的。不脱离本发明的主旨就能够实质性地变更其构造和/或功能的详细内容。另外,通过适当组合上述实施方式中公开的多个结构要素,能够形成各种发明。
工业上的利用可能性
本发明的摩擦接合装置及其运转方法,即使利用摩擦热对由不同材料构成的多个部件进行接合,也能够提高接合强度,因此是有用的。

Claims (18)

1.一种摩擦接合装置,通过利用摩擦热使具有第一部件和第二部件的被接合物软化而进行接合,
其特征在于,
所述摩擦接合装置具备:
工具,形成为圆柱状,构成为能够进行绕轴线的旋转和向沿着该轴线的方向的进退移动;
旋转驱动器,使所述工具绕所述轴线旋转;
直动驱动器,使所述工具沿所述轴线进退移动;以及
控制装置,
所述第一部件配置为与所述工具对置,且由种类与所述第二部件不同的材料构成,
所述第二部件由钢构成,
所述控制装置构成为执行:
步骤A,控制所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器,以一边使所述工具的末端部按压所述被接合物的被接合部,一边使所述工具绕所述轴线旋转,而使所述被接合部的温度变得高于A1相变点;
步骤B,控制所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器,使所述工具的末端部到达预先设定的规定的第一位置,以在将所述被接合部的温度维持在高于A1相变点的状态下,使软化的所述第二部件刺入软化的所述第一部件;以及
步骤C,控制所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器,以将所述被接合部的温度维持在高于A1相变点,并且将所述工具在旋转的状态下从所述被接合部拔出。
2.根据权利要求1所述的摩擦接合装置,其中,
所述控制装置在所述步骤A中,控制所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器,以使所述被接合部的温度成为A3相变点以上。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的摩擦接合装置,其中,
所述控制装置在所述步骤B中,控制所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器,以将所述被接合部的温度维持在A3相变点以上。
4.根据权利要求1或2所述的摩擦接合装置,其中,
所述控制装置在所述步骤C中,控制所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器,以将所述被接合部的温度维持在A3相变点以上。
5.根据权利要求1或2所述的摩擦接合装置,其中,
所述第一部件由铝、热塑性塑料以及纤维增强塑料中的至少一种材料构成。
6.根据权利要求1或2所述的摩擦接合装置,其中,
所述第一部件由多个第一子部件构成。
7.根据权利要求1或2所述的摩擦接合装置,其中,
所述第二部件由多个第二子部件构成。
8.根据权利要求1或2所述的摩擦接合装置,其中,
所述摩擦接合装置还具备检测所述被接合部的温度的温度检测器,
所述控制装置构成为,根据所述温度检测器所检测出的温度,来判断所述被接合部的温度是否为A1相变点以上。
9.根据权利要求1或2所述的摩擦接合装置,其中,
所述摩擦接合装置还具备存储有第一数据的存储装置,所述第一数据表示所述被接合部的温度与所述工具的按压力及转速的相关关系。
10.一种摩擦接合装置的运转方法,所述摩擦接合装置通过利用摩擦热使具有第一部件和第二部件的被接合物软化而进行接合,
其特征在于,
所述摩擦接合装置具备:工具,形成为圆柱状,构成为能够进行绕轴线的旋转和向沿着该轴线的方向的进退移动;旋转驱动器,使所述工具绕所述轴线旋转;以及直动驱动器,使所述工具沿所述轴线进退移动,
所述第一部件配置为与所述工具对置,且由种类与所述第二部件不同的材料构成,
所述第二部件由钢构成,
所述摩擦接合装置的运转方法具备:
步骤A,使所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器进行动作,以一边使所述工具的末端部按压所述被接合物的被接合部,一边使所述工具绕所述轴线旋转,而使所述被接合部的温度变得高于A1相变点;
步骤B,使所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器进行动作,而使所述工具的末端部到达预先设定的规定的第一位置,以在将所述被接合部的温度维持在高于A1相变点的状态下,使软化的所述第二部件刺入软化的所述第一部件;以及
步骤C,使所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器进行动作,以将所述被接合部的温度维持在高于A1相变点,并且将所述工具在旋转的状态下从所述被接合部拔出。
11.根据权利要求10所述的摩擦接合装置的运转方法,其中,
在所述步骤A中,使所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器进行动作,以使所述被接合部的温度成为A3相变点以上。
12.根据权利要求10或11所述的摩擦接合装置的运转方法,其中,
在所述步骤B中,使所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器进行动作,以使所述被接合部的温度成为A3相变点以上。
13.根据权利要求10或11所述的摩擦接合装置的运转方法,其中,
在所述步骤C中,使所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器进行动作,以使所述被接合部的温度成为A3相变点以上。
14.根据权利要求10或11所述的摩擦接合装置的运转方法,其中,
所述第一部件由铝、热塑性塑料以及纤维增强塑料中的至少一种材料构成。
15.根据权利要求10或11所述的摩擦接合装置的运转方法,其中,
所述第一部件由多个第一子部件构成。
16.根据权利要求10或11所述的摩擦接合装置的运转方法,其中,
所述第二部件由多个第二子部件构成。
17.根据权利要求10或11所述的摩擦接合装置的运转方法,其中,
所述摩擦接合装置还具备检测所述被接合部的温度的温度检测器,
在所述步骤A~步骤C中,使所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器进行动作,以使所述温度检测器所检测出的温度成为所述A1相变点以上。
18.根据权利要求10或11所述的摩擦接合装置的运转方法,其中,
所述摩擦接合装置还具备存储有第一数据的存储装置,所述第一数据表示所述被接合的温度与所述直动驱动器的按压力及所述旋转驱动器的转速的相关关系,
在所述步骤A~步骤C中,基于所述第一数据,使所述直动驱动器以及所述旋转驱动器进行动作。
