Detailed Description
The invention discloses a wireless connection setting transfer method, which can lead a wireless device to be set to be connected with a target wireless device with a hidden service set identification code (HIDDEN SERVICE SET IDENTIFIER, HIDDEN SSID) even if the SSID is not American Standard code for information exchange (AMERICAN STANDARD Code for Information Interchange, ASCII).
Fig. 1 shows an embodiment of a wireless connection configuration transfer method according to the present invention. The embodiment is performed by a plurality of wireless devices, an embodiment of which is shown in fig. 2, including a target wireless device 200, a first wireless device 210, and a second wireless device 220. In one implementation example, the target wireless device 200 is an Access Point (AP) or a wireless device with AP function; the first wireless device 210 (e.g., mobile phone or personal computer) has obtained the connection setting of the target wireless device 200 and connected to the target wireless device 200; the second wireless device 220 (e.g., a wireless networking device such as a wireless speaker or other internet of things device) does not obtain the connection setting of the target wireless device 200 before receiving the connection setting of the target wireless device 200 transmitted from the first wireless device 210. In one implementation example, the plurality of wireless devices are Wi-Fi devices that conform to at least one of the IEEE 802.11 family of standards (e.g., 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11 ax).
Please refer to fig. 1 and fig. 2. The embodiment of fig. 1 comprises the following steps:
Step S110: the first wireless device 210 wirelessly connects to the target wireless device 200, wherein the SSID of the target wireless device 200 is hidden. In one implementation example, a beacon signal (beacon signal) broadcast by the target wireless device 200 does not contain a valid SSID; in other words, the beacon signal does not contain the SSID of the target wireless device 200. In one implementation example, the SSID of the target wireless device 200 is a hidden, non-ASCII SSID.
Step S120: an application of the first wireless device 210 obtains the connection setting of the target wireless device 200. In one implementation example, the link setting includes: a Basic service set identifier (Basic SERVICE SET IDENTIFIER, BSSID) (e.g., MEDIA ACCESS Control (MAC) Address) of the target wireless device 200; the information is used to indicate that the SSID of the target wireless device 200 is hidden; and a connection password of the target wireless device 200. It should be noted that, generally, the connection setting obtained by the application program is encoded data (e.g., UTF-8 (8-bit Unicode Transformation Format) data) by the first wireless device 210, and the application program does not have authority to obtain the original data (e.g., GB2312 (chinese character code set for information exchange) data or GBK (chinese character code extension specification) data) of the connection setting, so when the SSID of the target wireless device 200 is a hidden non-ASCII SSID, the application program makes the first wireless device 210 provide the encoded SSID of the second wireless device 220, and cannot connect the second wireless device 220 to the target wireless device 200.
Step S130: the second wireless device 220 transmits a beacon signal carrying predetermined data for detection by the first wireless device 210. In one implementation example, the predetermined data is an SSID according to a specific rule, where the specific rule is a known or self-defined rule, and the specific rule is a rule that can be identified by both the first wireless device 210 and the second wireless device 220.
Step S140: the first wireless device 210 receives the beacon signal of the second wireless device 220 and knows that the beacon signal carries the predetermined data. In one implementation example, the first wireless device 210 receives the signal and determines whether a beacon signal carrying the predetermined data (e.g., SSID according to a specific rule) is received, so as to know that the second wireless device 220 sending the beacon signal requires the first wireless device 210 to assist in connection.
Step S150: the first wireless device 210 interrupts the wireless connection with the target wireless device 200, and then the first wireless device 210 wirelessly connects to the second wireless device 220. Step S150 is continued with step S140.
Step S160: the first wireless device 210 transmits the connection setting to the second wireless device 220, and then interrupts the wireless connection with the second wireless device 220. Step S160 continues with step S150.
Step S170: the first wireless device 210 repeatedly connects to the target wireless device 200 for N times, so that the second wireless device 220 obtains the plurality of packets for establishing a connection between the first wireless device 210 and the target wireless device 200 according to the connection setting, wherein N is a positive integer not less than one. Step S170 continues with step S160. In one implementation example, the second wireless device 220 finds the plurality of packets that match the BSSID from the received packets according to the BSSID of the target wireless device 200. In one implementation example, the plurality of packets includes: a probe request packet sent by the first wireless device 210; and a probe response packet or a connection request (association request) packet sent by the target wireless device 200, wherein the probe request packet, the probe response packet, and the connection request packet are conventional in the art. In one implementation example, the N is not less than three.
Step S180: the second wireless device 220 obtains the original data of the SSID of the target wireless device 200 according to the plurality of packets, and then the second wireless device 220 establishes a connection with the target wireless device 200 according to the connection setting and the original data.
Step S190: the second wireless device 220 transmits a connection success message to the first wireless device 210 through the target wireless device 200. This step is used to avoid the first wireless device 210 repeatedly attempting to assist the second wireless device 220 in connecting. However, this step may be optionally omitted; at this time, the first wireless device 210 may stop assisting the second wireless device 220 to connect after a predetermined condition (e.g., after performing step S170 and/or not receiving the beacon signal of the second wireless device 200) is met.
Fig. 3 shows another embodiment of the wireless connection setting transfer method of the present invention. The embodiment of fig. 3 is performed by a first wireless device (e.g., mobile device or personal computer), comprising the steps of:
Step S310: a target wireless device (e.g., an access point) is wirelessly connected, wherein a service set identification code of the target wireless device is hidden.
Step S320: the connection setting of the target wireless device is obtained through an application program.
Step S330: a beacon signal sent by a second wireless device (for example, a wireless networking device such as a wireless sound box or other Internet of things device) is received, and the beacon signal is known to carry preset data.
Step S340: the wireless connection with the target wireless device is interrupted, and then the second wireless device is wirelessly connected.
Step S350: transmitting the connection setting to the second wireless device, and then interrupting the wireless connection with the second wireless device.
Step S360: repeatedly connecting the target wireless device for N times to enable the second wireless device to obtain a plurality of packets used for establishing connection between the first wireless device and the target wireless device according to the connection setting, wherein N is a positive integer not smaller than one.
Step S370: and receiving connection success information transmitted by the second wireless device through the target wireless device.

Fig. 4 shows a wireless connection setting transfer method according to another embodiment of the invention. The embodiment of fig. 4 is performed by a second wireless device (e.g., a wireless networking device such as a wireless speaker or other internet of things device), comprising the steps of:
Step S410: a beacon signal is sent to carry predetermined data for detection by a first wireless device (e.g., mobile device or personal computer).
Step S420: the first wireless device is wirelessly connected.
Step S430: a connection setup of a target wireless device (e.g., an access point) is received from the first wireless device, and then the wireless connection with the first wireless device is interrupted, wherein a service set identification code of the target wireless device is hidden.
Step S440: and acquiring a plurality of packets used for establishing a connection between the first wireless device and the target wireless device according to the connection setting.
Step S450: and obtaining the original data of the service set identification code according to the plurality of packets, and establishing a connection with the target wireless device according to the connection setting and the original data.
Step S460: a connection success message is transmitted to the first wireless device through the target wireless device.
Since those skilled in the art can refer to the disclosure of the embodiment of fig. 1 to understand the details and variations of the embodiment of fig. 4, that is, the technical features of the embodiment of fig. 1 may be reasonably applied to the embodiment of fig. 4, the repetitive and redundant description is omitted herein without affecting the disclosure requirement and the feasibility of the embodiment of fig. 4.
It should be noted that, where implementation is possible, one skilled in the art may selectively implement some or all of the features of any of the foregoing embodiments, or may selectively implement some or all of the features of the foregoing embodiments, thereby achieving flexibility in implementing the invention.
In summary, the present invention enables a wireless networking device to connect to a target wireless device having a hidden service set identifier, even if the service set identifier is a non-us information exchange standard code; therefore, compared with the prior art, the invention is not limited by the encoding of the SSID of the target wireless device, and the applicability of the wireless networking device can be improved.
