The invention actively controls the initial disturbance (including frequency and amplitude) of the jet by means of the actuating unit 4, the fluid flowing out from upstream being dominated by the external disturbance, which can control the breaking frequency of the jet. The invention can accurately control the jet flow crushing process, can control the particle size of liquid drops and the length of the jet flow, and can be widely used by adjusting the frequency interval of disturbance application by adjusting the natural crushing frequency. The invention can also be applied to fluids of different properties (viscosity, interfacial tension), in particular to the situation of different fluids in various practical applications.
According to the device for preparing the uniform single emulsion drop with high flux, the actuating unit 4 is adopted to control the initial disturbance, so that the precise control of the jet flow crushing process can be realized, particularly the crushing frequency of the jet flow is controlled, the device is widely applied to various drop micro-fluidic technologies, the defect that the flux cannot be taken into account depending on the drop mode in the existing micro-fluidic technology for preparing the uniform drop can be effectively overcome, and the device is particularly suitable for the scene of preparing a large amount of micro-drops by using the jet flow mode.
Another aspect of the present invention provides a method for high throughput preparation of uniform single emulsion droplets, comprising the steps of:
step S1: continuously inputting driving phase liquid and forming a stable flow field.
Step S2: continuously inputting dispersed phase liquid, wherein the driving phase liquid and the dispersed phase liquid are not dissolved mutually, inputting disturbance to the dispersed phase liquid, and the driving phase liquid coats the dispersed phase liquid coming out from the capillary outlet to form single emulsion droplets.
Specifically, the initial disturbance includes a frequency and amplitude, and the dispersed phase fluid flowing from upstream is dominated by the applied disturbance, which can control the break up frequency of the jet.
Specifically, the initial disturbance may be an axial disturbance, i.e. the flow velocity of the jet is periodically modulated by the external coupling energy (mechanical, electric field, magnetic field, etc.), as shown in fig. 3, it may be a sinusoidal signal, a sawtooth wave signal, a rectangular wave signal, etc., preferably a sinusoidal modulation; it is also possible to combine multiple modulations, preferably with the same period, although other combinations of signals are possible.
The initial disturbance frequency is set to be optimal near the natural breaking frequency of the jet, and the natural breaking frequency can be changed by changing the structural parameters and the fluid propertiesThe rate, and thus the interval at which the disturbance frequency is applied, is adjusted such that, when external disturbances can dominate the jet break-up, the diameter of the droplets produced is controlled entirely by the dispersed phase flow Q and the excitation frequency f. The calculation formula is as follows: d ═ 6Q/pi f)1/3D is the diameter of the single emulsion drop to be prepared, Q is the flow rate of the dispersed phase liquid, and f is the excitation frequency of the disturbance signal. A typical drop microscope is shown in figure 4. And the droplet size can be varied over a wide range by adjusting the drive phase flow and the frequency of the external disturbance, with constant flow parameters, as shown in figure 5.
The initial disturbance amplitude can vary over a wide range, too little amplitude leading to uncontrolled jet breakup, too much amplitude leading to a switch from jet mode to drop mode, but monodisperse drops can also be produced as desired.
The invention discloses a method for preparing uniform single emulsion drops in high flux, which realizes the control of the jet flow crushing of dispersed phase liquid by inputting disturbance signals to the dispersed phase liquid, and forms single emulsion drops by wrapping the driving phase liquid. The preparation of different single emulsion drops is realized by controlling the frequency of the disturbance signal, and the adjustment and control of the volume of the single emulsion drops are realized. In addition, the defect that flux cannot be considered by depending on a drop mode in order to prepare uniform liquid drops in the existing microfluidics can be effectively overcome by controlling the breaking frequency of jet flow.
