Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be obtained by a person skilled in the art without any inventive step based on the embodiments of the present invention, are within the scope of the present invention.
For convenience of description, the direction in which the vehicle travels forward is the X direction, upward along the height of the vehicle is the Z direction, and the left-hand side of the driver facing forward is the Y direction, which is the vertically inward direction as viewed in X and Z directions in fig. 1. The front-rear direction described herein is front-rear with respect to the traveling direction of the vehicle. The left and right directions described herein are left and right directions when the driver faces forward, and the up and down directions described herein are up and down directions along the height direction of the vehicle.
In order to ensure that the gap between the front fender and the front door of each vehicle generated on the production assembly line is kept consistent when the front fender is installed, an adjusting device for adjusting the position of the front fender relative to the front door needs to be used. For example, as shown in fig. 1, when the upper region of the front fender panel is tightened, the first adjusting device 100 is required to secure a gap between the upper region 10-1 of the front fender panel 10 and the upper region 20-1 of the front door 20. After the tightening of the upper region 10-1 of the front fender panel 10 is completed, the first adjusting device 100 is replaced with a second adjusting device 200, as shown in fig. 2, and the second adjusting device 200 is used to secure a gap between the lower region 10-2 of the front fender panel 10 and the lower region 20-2 of the front door 20. The division of the upper and lower regions of the front fender is shown in fig. 3.
The first adjusting apparatus 100 includes a first block 110 for pressing the front fender 10, a second block 120 for pressing the front door 20, and a third block 130 for being inserted into a gap between the front door 20 and the front fender 10. Wherein the first block 110 presses the front fender 10 in the Y-direction and the Z-direction and maintains the position of the front fender 12 relative to the front door 20; the second block 120 presses the front door in the Y direction to secure the position of the front door; the third piece 130 is inserted into a gap between the front door 20 and the front fender 10 to secure the gap between the front door 20 and the front fender 10, thereby ensuring that the gap between the front door and the front fender in the vehicle generated on the production line is uniform. As can be seen from fig. 1, a first block 110 for pressing the front fender 10 and a third block 130 inserted into a gap between the front fender 10 and the front door 20 are fixed to the same first rod 140 so that the first block 110 and the third block 130 can be moved simultaneously.
In the area where the rear and upper end of the front fender panel 10 is connected to the a-pillar as indicated by the circular frame in fig. 4, if the fastening direction is in the Y direction, the closed front door 20 does not interfere with the fastening direction therein when the first adjusting apparatus 100 is used, as shown in fig. 5, and thus does not interfere with the fastening work of the worker. If the fastening direction here is not in the Y direction, as indicated by the arrow in fig. 6, such directions are collectively referred to as the direction disturbed by the front door in the present specification, it is necessary to open the front door and then perform the fastening work. As shown in fig. 7, the third adjusting device 300 is required for adjusting the position of the front fender 10 relative to the front door 20 after the front door 20 is opened, and then performing the tightening operation. Thus, three adjusting devices are needed in the process of installing the front fender panel 10, which not only makes the installation process complicated and complicated, increases the installation period and increases the production cost, but also makes the first adjusting device 100 to be separated when the third adjusting device 300 is replaced, thereby making the first block 110 of the first adjusting device 100 for pressing the front fender panel 10 and the second block 120 of the first adjusting device 100 for pressing the front door 20 to be separated, thus causing the position of the front fender panel 10 to be changed, so that the position of the front fender panel 10 when the first adjusting device 100 is used is different from the position when the third adjusting device 300 is used, thereby reducing the position accuracy of the front fender panel 10 relative to the front door 20, reducing the installation position accuracy of the front fender panel 10, and affecting the perception quality of the vehicle.
The invention thus provides a device for adjusting the position between elements of a vehicle body. Specifically, the present invention provides an apparatus for adjusting the position of a front fender relative to a front door.
The device comprises a first adjusting device 100 for adjusting the position of an upper region 10-1 of the front fender 10 relative to an upper region 20-1 of the front door 20; and a second adjusting device 200 for adjusting the position of the lower region 10-2 of the front fender 10 relative to the lower region 20-2 of the front door 20. The division of the upper region 10-1 of front fender 10 from the lower region 10-2 of front fender 10 is illustrated with reference to fig. 3, wherein the lower region 10-1 of front fender 10 includes the two lowermost tie points and the upper region 10-1 includes other tie points in addition to the two lower tie points. Accordingly, the upper region 20-1 of the front door 20 corresponds to the upper region 10-1 of the front fender 10, and the lower region 20-2 of the front door 20 corresponds to the lower region 10-2 of the front fender 10. One of the tie points included in the upper region 10-1 of the front fender panel 10 includes the front fender and a-pillar junction, which is the location shown with reference to fig. 4. The tie-down point at this location is hereinafter referred to as the a-pillar tie-down point.
The arrangement is also used for a second adjusting device 200 for adjusting the position of the lower region 10-2 of the front fender 10 relative to the lower region 20-2 of the front door 20, which can be realized with reference to fig. 2 using adjusting devices common in the art.
Wherein the first adjusting device 100 comprises: a frame 1000 including at least a first bar 1100, a second bar 1200, and a third bar 1300; a first block 110 attached to the first bar 1100 and maintaining the position of the front fender 10; a second block 120 connected to the second rod 1200 and maintaining the position of the front door 200; and a third block 130 connected to the third bar 1300 and having a flat pin (not shown) inserted into the gap 2000 between the front fender 10 and the front door 20, wherein the second block 120 is independently movable relative to the first block 110 and the third block 130 is independently movable relative to the first block 110, the movement described herein including linear movement or rotation.
Specifically, the frame 1000 includes all other structures except the first block 110, the second block 120, and the third block 130. The frame 1000 is used to support the first block 110, the second block 120, and the third block 130. The first block 110 is attached to the first bar 1100 and maintains the position of the front fender 10.
Specifically, the first block 110 is attached to an end of the first bar 1100, and presses the front fender panel 10 in the Y-direction and the Z-direction at the rear upper end of the front fender panel 10, so that the front fender panel 10 is held stationary at that position. The first lever 1100 may be horizontally fixed to the frame 1000 or may be vertically fixed to the frame 1000, and the position and angle of the first lever 1100 may be adjusted as needed.
The second block 120 is connected to an end of the second rod 1200 and presses the front door 20 in the Y direction at the front upper end of the front door 20 to keep the position of the front door 20 unchanged so that the relative position with the front fender 10 whose position is kept unchanged, thus ensuring the relative positional accuracy of the front fender 10 and the front door 20 during the mounting process, and thus ensuring the mounting accuracy of the front fender 10. Wherein the second block 120 presses the front door 20 in the Y direction when the front door 20 is closed, so that the front door 20 cannot be opened. When the a pillar tightening point is tightened in the Y direction, the closed front door 20 does not interfere with the tightening operation, and therefore the position of the second block 120 may not be moved. When the a-pillar tightening point is tightened in the other direction than the Y direction, that is, in the direction interfered with by the front door, the second block 120 is moved so that the second block 120 does not restrict the position of the front door 20. Wherein the movement of the second block 120 can be moved in a horizontal direction to a corresponding area of the front door 20, i.e., forward or backward to an area away from the front door 20; the movement of the second block 120 may move up or down in a vertical direction to clear the area of the front door 20; or the movement of the second block 120 may rotate up or right to an area away from the front door 20 so that the position of the moved or rotated second block 120 does not affect the opening of the front door 20. The second rod 1200 may be connected to the frame 1000 vertically or horizontally or at any other angle, wherein the connection direction of the second rod 1200 may be appropriately selected according to the structure and relative position of the frame and the door member according to the space. The second block 120 may move on the second rod 1200 or may move together with the second rod 1200 with respect to the frame 1000. Wherein the moving manner and direction or the rotating manner or method of the second block 120 may be specifically selected according to the coupling direction of the second rod 1200 and the structure of the first adjusting means 100.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 8 and 9, the second rod 1200 is vertically connected to the frame 1000, and the second block 120 is fixed to an end of the second rod 1200, and the second rod 1200 is rotatably connected to the frame 1000. Specifically, the second rod 1200 is coupled to the frame 1000 through a bearing. The second lever 1200 and the second block fixed to the second lever 1200 can be pivoted upward to a height higher than the front door 20 so as not to affect the opening of the front door 20. The first block 110 is connected to the frame 1000 through the first rod 1100, so that the first block 110 is not affected by the movement of the second block 120, and therefore when the second block 120 moves or rotates, the first block 110 can be kept at an original position through the first rod 1100, and the position of the front fender 10 is ensured to be fixed, so that when the front door 20 is opened to tighten an A-pillar fastening point, the position of the first block 110 is not changed, and the position of the front fender 10 is not changed, so that the relative position accuracy of the front fender 10 and the front door 20 is ensured, and the installation accuracy of the front fender 10 is improved.
The third block 130 is attached to the third bar 1300 and the third block 130 has a cotter (not shown) inserted into the gap 2000 between the front fender 10 and the front door 20. The specific structure of the third block 130 includes a front door portion parallel to the front door and abutting against the front door 20 and a front fender portion parallel to the front fender 10 and abutting against the front fender 10, the front door portion and the front fender portion may be on the same plane, and a cotter pin extends inward perpendicularly to the front door portion and the front fender portion to be inserted into a gap 2000 between the front door 20 and the front fender 10. When the front fender is installed for each vehicle, the same first adjusting device 100 is used, and the flat pin with the same thickness is used for ensuring the consistent gap between the front door 20 and the front fender 10 in each vehicle, so that the installation precision of the front fender is improved, and the perception quality of the vehicle is improved. Preferably, the plurality of third blocks 130 are included in the first adjusting device 100 and the plurality of third blocks 130 are distributed along the length of the gap 2000 between the front fender 10 and the front door 20 to ensure uniformity of the width of the gap 2000 in the length direction.
When the front fender 10 is mounted, the front door 20 is closed, the first block 110 and the second block 120 respectively press the front fender 10 and the front door 20 and restrict the positional movement, the flat pin of the third block 130 is inserted into the gap between the front fender 10 and the front door 20, the gap between the front door 20 and the front fender 10 is secured, and when the a-pillar tightening point is tightened in the Y direction, the closed front door 20 does not affect the tightening action, so that the tightening operation of the upper region of the front fender is performed without moving the first block 110, the second block 120, and the third block 130. When the tightening direction of the tightening point of the a-pillar is not in the Y-direction, for example, in a direction disturbed by the front door, the now closed front door 20 affects the tightening of the a-pillar.
The third block 130 is independently movable relative to the first block 110 including the first block 110 remaining stationary and the third block 130 moving. Specifically, the third block 130 may move with respect to the third rod 1300 or move with the third rod 1300 with respect to the frame 1000, while the first block 110 is kept stationary in its original position by the first plate 1100. Preferably the third piece 130 rotates relative to the third bar 1300 or rotates together with the third bar 1300 relative to the frame 1000 to facilitate the extraction of the cotter pin from the slot 2000. The third bar 1300 may be attached to the frame 1000 horizontally or vertically or at other angles. The particular connection and angle of the third bar 1300 may be selected according to the particular structure of the frame 1000. The third block 130 may be rotated upward or rightward so that the rotated position of the third block 130 does not affect the opening of the front door 20. Since the third block 130 is located at the joint of the front door 20 and the front fender 10, it is sufficient if the cotter is pulled out from the slit 2000 and is separated from the front door 20. Preferably, the third bar 130 is vertically connected to the frame 1000 and the third block 130 is fixed to the end of the third bar 1300, and the third bar 1300 is rotatably connected to the frame upward, whereby the third block 130 can be rotated upward with the third bar 1300 to separate the cotter pin from the slit 2000. Specifically, the third rod 1300 may be coupled to the frame 1000 by a bearing such that the third rod 1300 may be rotated upward about the bearing. According to another embodiment, as shown in fig. 9 to 11, when the second bar 1200 is vertically and upwardly rotatably connected to the frame 1000 and the second block 120 is fixed to the second bar 1200 as described above, the third bar 130 may be fixed to the second bar 1200 such that the third bar 1300 may be rotated upwardly together with the second bar 1200 and thus the second block 120 on the second bar 1200 and the third block 130 on the third bar 1300 are rotated upwardly. This may not only simplify the structure of the first adjusting means, but also may further simplify the operation step and the installation step by simultaneously rotating the second block 120 and the third block 130 through one operation, thereby saving time and having good economy, and particularly, the second rod 1200 and the third rod 1300 may be integrally formed to further simplify the manufacturing process. Further, the third bar 1300 may be formed by extending the second bar 1200 downward according to the positional relationship of the second block 120 and the third block 130. In this manner, the front door portion of the third block 1300 is coupled to the third lever 1300.
Another aspect of the present invention also provides a method of installing a front fender using the apparatus described above, comprising:
using the first adjusting apparatus 100, the first block 110 is pressed against the front fender 10 in the Y-direction and the Z-direction at the rear upper end of the front fender 10 to keep the front fender 10 immovable at the position, the second block 120 is pressed against the front door 20 in the Y-direction at the front upper end of the front door 20 to keep the front door 20 immovable at the position, and the flat pin of the third block 130 is inserted into the gap 2000 between the front door 20 and the front fender 10 to ensure the relative position between the front fender 10 and the front door 20;
tightening other tightening points of the upper area of the front fender panel 10 other than the a-pillar tightening point;
holding the position of the first block 110 stationary, rotating the second rod 1200 and the third rod 1300 upward such that the second block 120 on the second rod 1200 and the third block 130 on the third rod 1300 rotate upward such that the cotter leaves the gap 2000 and out of the area of the front door 20, as shown in FIG. 11, such that the front door 20 can be opened;
opening the front door 20 and tightening the a-pillar tightening point;
removing the first adjusting device 100 and adjusting the position of the lower region 10-2 of the front fender 10 relative to the lower region 20-2 of the front door 20 using the second adjusting device 200 after closing the front door 20;
and the lower region 10-2 of the front fender panel 10 is tightened to complete the mounting of the front fender panel.
