Furthermore, the lower end of the insulating base body 1 of the board end connector is provided with a connecting column, a connecting hole is formed in the circuit board 19, and the connecting column is matched with the connecting hole and used for connecting the board end connector and the circuit board 19 into a whole.

In summary, when the connector assembly provided by the present invention is used, the lower end surfaces of the first board end terminal 7 and the second board end terminal 8 extending to the bottom of the insulating base 1 of the board end connector are welded to the electrical connection points of the PCB, so that the board end connector is connected to the PCB. The terminal connector is inserted into the board terminal connector from above downward through the connecting groove 2 so that the convex portions of the first and second terminal terminals 13 and 14 are brought into contact with the upper end faces of the first and second board terminals 7 and 8, respectively, i.e., the connection of the connector assembly is achieved. The connector assembly adopts a vertical plugging mode, reduces board occupation space of plugging and unplugging of the line end connector, reduces the contact sliding distance between the board end terminal 4 and the line end terminal 11, and improves signal integrity.

Claims (13)

1. A plate end connector comprising:
the insulation base body is internally provided with a connecting groove, the top of the connecting groove is open, and the side surface of the connecting groove is provided with a wire avoiding port;
the board end terminal is arranged in the connecting groove, one end of the board end terminal is exposed out of the connecting groove, the other end of the board end terminal extends to the bottom of the insulating base body, and one end of the board end terminal is an electric connection part.
2. The plate end connector of claim 1, wherein the upper end face of said one end of said plate end terminal is an electrical connection surface.
3. The board end connector according to claim 1, wherein the insulating base body is U-shaped, and the wire avoiding port is arranged at an opening end of the U-shape;
and a mounting frame is arranged in the connecting groove and is close to the side face, opposite to the opening end, of the insulating base body.

The board end connector according to claim 3, wherein a board end terminal fixing member is provided in the connecting groove, the one end of the board end terminal is provided on an upper surface of the board end terminal fixing member, and the other end of the board end terminal extends to a bottom of the insulating housing through the board end terminal fixing member.

The board end connector according to claim 1, wherein the longitudinal cross section of the board end terminal is a broken line type, and the broken line type includes a first straight line section, a second straight line section and a third straight line section which are connected in sequence, the first straight line section is arranged along the horizontal direction and exposed out of the connecting groove, and an upper end surface of the first straight line section is the electrical connection surface.

The board end connector according to claim 1, wherein the board end terminal includes a first board end terminal and a second board end terminal, the second board end terminal is closer to the wire avoiding opening than the first board end terminal, one end of the first board end terminal and the second board end terminal is exposed to the connecting groove, the other end extends to the bottom of the insulating housing, an upper end surface of the one end of the first board end terminal and the second board end terminal is an electrical connection surface, and the electrical connection surface of the first board end terminal is higher than the electrical connection surface of the second board end terminal.
7. A wire end connector, comprising:
the insulation structure comprises an insulation main body, wherein a mounting groove is formed in the insulation main body, the bottom of the mounting groove is open, and a mounting opening is formed in the side surface of the mounting groove;
the wire end terminal is arranged in the mounting groove, one end of the wire end terminal extends along the mounting groove, the other end of the wire end terminal is used for being connected with a wire harness, and one end of the wire end terminal is an electric connection part.
8. The wire end connector according to claim 7, wherein a wire end terminal fixing member is provided in the mounting groove, and a middle portion of the wire end terminal is inserted into the wire end terminal fixing member.

The wire end connector according to claim 7, wherein the wire end terminal includes a first wire end terminal and a second wire end terminal, the first wire end terminal is disposed above the second wire end terminal, one end of the first wire end terminal and the second wire end terminal extends along the mounting groove, the other end is for connection with a wire harness, the one end of the first wire end terminal is closer to the mounting opening than the one end of the second wire end terminal, and a lower end surface of the one end of the first wire end terminal and the second wire end terminal is an electrical connection surface.
10. The wire end connector of claim 9, wherein said one end of said wire end terminal is provided with a protrusion towards the bottom of said mounting slot, said protrusion being an electrical contact point.
11. A connector assembly, comprising:
the plate end connector of any one of claims 1-6 and the wire end connector of any one of claims 7-10; the plate end connector and the wire end connector are mutually matched to realize electric connection.
12. The connector assembly of claim 11, wherein an outer wall of said wire end insulating body is slidably engaged with an inner wall of said coupling groove, said wire end connector being vertically insertable into and removable from said coupling groove, a lower end surface of said one end of said wire end terminal being contactable with an upper end surface of said one end of said board end terminal when said wire end connector is inserted into said coupling groove.
13. The connector assembly of claim 11, further comprising:
one end of the wire harness penetrates through a wire harness fixing piece to be connected with the other end of the wire end terminal, and the wire fixing piece is arranged at one end, close to the mounting opening, in the mounting groove;
a circuit board, the other end of the board end terminal being electrically connected with the circuit board.
